What to do now when things get worse every day, only hold will help us? Who is trying to survive in such a market? Your advice, friends!

there are many strategies you can use, for example, you bought when the price was $18000, so you should not sell your coins. the price then drops to $14000, you return to buying more coins, when the price drops to  $8000 you return to buying more coins, when the price drops to  $4000 you return to buying more coins. keep holding and buying more coins whenever the price drops that when one day the price is $20,000 you will have a lot of profit.


It depends on each person, if someone has a long term goal then these price falls are not a big problem for the person and if someone is a good day trade then these price falls are not a big problem for the person. everything depends on the strategy that is used

The market is yet to reach the bottom price but the first thing you to do is believe the market will come back to it glorious days because it will, dont sell at lost price hold your previous coins, quit trading while you invest/accumulate more coins and never invest more than you can afford.

We are all striving to survive on this current market condition.You arent the only one who do have such worries but all of those people who are attached into this crypto market.

you do need to observe on what would be the next step for you to reduce such loss. Hold and accumulate cheap coins as of now is the wisest thing to be done.

Why not transfer your holding to trading platform like binance and convert them to usdt? Because I suspect the market will still be going down and $3000 maybe the support level that reversal may occur.  Holding till the market get to the bottom may create tension but if you convert to usdt and when bitcoin get downed very well you can now flip to bitcoin and get more quatity of bitcoin.
I just do the same thing some weeks back and when bitcoin get to $3770 yesterday I flipped to bitcoin and now I have about double of what I hold before in bitcoin.  And when bitcoin recover back to $6500 I should be in good profits.

In markets there is a saying; some times doing nothing is the best option. In other words, find yourself something else to focus on. Try utilize your time in the best possible manner, because sitting here being frustrated about the price is an utter waste of time, because you'll be doing the same thing for months straight. The price won't miraculously rocket up to $10,000 any time soon.

Perhaps it will make OP feel better if he reads himself into Bitcoin. If you have a better understanding of the protocol, it could offer some mental rest, wich is something more people can use right now.

If you have a lot of time to wait, then wait and try to increase the number of Bitcoins you have from cheap price. Because in the current situation it is not known where the last stop will be. Maybe the price recover will not take a long time, I said price healing may take a long time to prepare yourself for the worst.

We have no choice if we lost, and that time you need is really to wait as said here. Holding is part of the waiting process that we need to always observe during the loss recovery in order to regain your courage even though the situation wasn't that good actually.

There are a lot of strategy to make money in bear market, but it need a deep analysis because in bear market once you make the wrong movement then you can lose a lot of money, holding could be the best thing if you're not sure about the market condition, keep on attracting people to buy also one of the strategy to make the price go up faster

I think that watching prices is not a waste of time if the OP has money to invest. I believe that now crypto currencies have fallen deep enough and the local bottom may be somewhere here.

One of the main rules of trading, especially in crypto, is to trade with ammount that you can afford to lose. If your account is bigger than you can lose without pain, you anyway will have problems.
If you have cryptoassets without leverage, I think you can hold them, there is high probability that in long term they will rise again.
Now there is good opportunity to spend your time by reading and learning new things (blockchain, trading or anything else).
And try not to refresh quotes every 5 minutes  :)

Holding is not the only option but it is best when compared to others,you will be in loss only when you sell them for fiat or else the crytos will never decrease so lets wait until the prices get reaches to some profitable value then you can sell it profits.

Selling is losing, if you bought for higher price. Most of us have much less if you value your stash by dollars, its normal thing in crypto thats happened many times before. There's no way for anyone to give you any solid advice without knowing how much bitcoin or altcoins you own and what price you bought them at.  If you're currently in the red, I'd probably just hold onto what you've got.  If you sell, you're going to lose money--and that's a certainty if you bought at a price higher than where the market is at now.  And yes, if you hold you might have a chance of recovering and even making a profit.

No one wants to hold when a bearish market occurs, so in my opinion the decision depends on how much loss you will experience when selling it at this time, for example if your loss is too large even exceeding 50% of your initial money then my suggestion is to keep holding until a when crypto is recovering, because if you sell then only the loss you experience. You are selling for a low price and then you buy them back when the price is high? You must be out of your mind. It is better if you do hold them rather than sell since because you lose too much of your profit when you do that. we know each year bitcoin and others cryptocurrency price growth alot.and maybe this  year most of coins down, but if we hold it for several months or year our asset value could recovered again and even gain profits.

If you think that the price will recover then holding is not bad, but if the price continues to fall and you can't wait for a recovery to happen then you can convert whatever cryptocurrency you have to a more stable cryptocurrency like Tether, then convert it again to a cryptocurrency of your choice when the price stops to drop. There are literally only 2 things anyone can do in this market. Well technically three if you have money. If you do not have any money left the two options are either sell your coins with the hopes that it will drop even further and you can rebuy a lot more after it dropped (think of the amounts you would have if you sold at 6.5 thousand and rebought right now) and risk the fact that it may go up after you sell and you can miss out.

However if you have a lot of money, you can just buy from each dip, it doesn't matter if it goes down to 100 dollars if you have money since you can buy more and more. HODL will be the last resort on the current situation in regards to the Bitcoin price on Coinmarketcap. Things will get better as months pass by, the only advise to us here is hodl for the future to maximize huge profits.

I will be better not to hold anymore if the market continue to fall, I'd rather to sell and to invest with new investment. Crypto give us huge profit before but not today, we seek another opportunity and not crypto at all. We can't deny how far our life change due to crypto investment, its hard to see that we are falling hard but I believe that we are not sinking or dying.

Why you said 2019? We are getting better this year when compared to 2018 and also the price of bitcoin surpassed $4000 now which is really a good thing for the crypto market.
