If you have lost then you should see what you did mistake, because it is unbelievable for me, that you all the time have lost in crypto. But i agree with you that 2018 that was not a good year for trading. 2018 was worst year especially for bitcoin price. Because in 2017 was very good year for all coins wise and in 2018 was opposite for profit. However let see what will happened in 2019.

Maybe he is buy altcoin and bitcoin when price reach it's peak and then it keep decreased until now, in 2018 price look stable but for who bought in price more than $10000 maybe it is bad thing for them to hold their coins.

If you lose continuously, then I will say stop trading now. You keep holding all your cryptocurrency. There is a lot of patience needed for cryptocurrency trading. If you are not patient then you will not be able to trade. if you lose in cryptocurrency trading then you can never be frustrated. If you lose in trading then you have to be patient. Try to find alternative way aside from holding your coins mate. As far as I know there other options here for us to gain more in cryptocurrency.
Because if you are going to focus only in trading it will be hard for you to get profit in it dude.

The best thing you can do whenever you are losing is to sleep. Sleep as much as you can to keep you away from this holy crypto world.
And yes ofc you need to recover yur losses. So how can you do that? And how much time it will take?
In my opinion the better thing to do is invest or trade with coins which are stable.
People always invest in coins which are unstable in expectations of fair advantages(good returns). But that is where you make mistakes.
So in this lose you have learnt a lesson and hope next time be careful while investing into a particular coin.
