Title: VegasCasino.io Shill + Merit Abuser [Updated DT Needed]
Post by: Patatas on December 08, 2018, 04:16:55 PM
The account in Question :  kdon55 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2271272)
Check the last posts of this person and you'd find something interesting. He is shilling for the casino in all of his posts. The casino is a proven scam.

Topic : ICO New format scam

It's really painful that despite the trust that was given to them. They decided to pay back in this way. It's really not funny loosing your hard earned money. Many at times, I often wonder what goes in the heart of those scammers.  They are so very heartless. One way or the other,  this their get rich quick syndrome would catch up with them and they would pay for the menaces they have caused. There is a need to sanitize the blockchain system. There is a need to get credible and reliable review/police system. I have often think about creating or inventing that.  A system that cannot be bought. A system that gives the people the much desired justice and protection in the system to rid it of scammers.  That way,  people would be saved from a lot of scam related problems.  I myself have been scammed and I know how it felt like. I encountered that problem in one fake crypto based casino. I wasn't happy about it until I was able to get a good one which I use till date. . From their bonuses,  if you can bet well, you should make good profits. Create a winning strategy. Maybe, sure odds with large stake on any reputable and good online crypto based casino,  maybe vegascasino (https://vegascasino.io/promotions?utm_source=cc-vg-1). They are good. They exist as an online betting platform with limitless and unending bounds in casino betting. Features includes poker,  slot, blackjack, table games,  roulettes etc. Payment is in BTC, a cryptocurrency and this helps to simplify payments. They have multiple withdrawal option which includes cheap,  bank transfer etc. They offer juicy deposit bonuses and have a good customer support service system. The user interface is also excellent. With that, there is still some happiness and hope left that most people on the system are not scammers but some few who are not good people. Therefore, We should work together to discourage scammers and encourage good projects and platforms

Topic : Invest in ICO or buy BTC?

One can invest in bitcoin but not ico for now.  It's still a risky move to invest in something that is not fine at the moment. Maybe you should wait. Investment should be to get profit and gains and not the opposite.  If you are really interested in investing.  You can  try betting. This is it's season. Just get good ones that offer huge deposit bonuses. From the bonuses,  if you can bet well, you should make good profits. One can play almost as high as he/she wants but there is a certain restriction in place to ensure responsible gambling. With those bonuses and a good betting skills and strategy alongside discipline,  you can get something tangible from there too. Don't be grey and don't bet with desperation and only your instincts . It might not turn out well if you do. You should only do this if you are familiar with betting and casino and you like it or you are good at it

Topic : Even people in here now give up on Bitcoin

Because of the fact that you predicted the continuous fall of the value of bitcoin doesn't means that you are an authority that has to be followed in any advice you give. Men,  we are in a free world. We can do as we like with our money. There is no body that has not fallen Victim of one or two types of mistakes in investments . More over,  this was not even a mistake,  the market went down below peoples expectation. I would still suggest that people should still hold their coins and wait. While waiting,  there could be other source of investment one can do with the bitcoins to increase the amount and that is betting. Look for a good crypto based casino and try to become good at betting at any particular game you like. You have to set aside that amount for the betting and be going at it, one step at a time. Create a winning strategy. Maybe, sure odds with large stakes. Or get a good online crypto based casino,  maybe vegascasino (https://vegascasino.io/promotions?utm_source=cc-vg-1). It might not turn out well if you do. You should only do this if you are familiar with betting and casino and you like it or you are good at it

And he got a merit for this post

Topic : Should ICO's be regulated

What a nice idea. How I wish it could be  implemented.  That would reduce the risk associated with investing in the blockchain system,  help forestall crime/scam and ensure increased growth and value of the tokens/coins. If ICO are regulated,  it would help to promote the blockchain technology.  There is a need to sanitize the crypto system from ICOs to all crypto based investment and platforms.  There was a time I met with a mishap when trying to use a crypto betting platform,  they promised a lot of bonuses but never gave it to me.  I wasn't happy considering that I have hoped and planned for the bonuses and this resulted into a setback in my plans. All that was solved when I got to know of vegasonline (https://vegascasino.io/promotions?utm_source=cc-vg-1) . This platform is a crypto based online casino with a large provision of games ranging from dice,  slots,  blackjack, pokers to table games.  There is a high chance of making huge profit if you know how to bet. They place certain restriction and supervision on customers account to ensure responsible gambling and  they are always eager to attend to any problem. They offer juicy deposit bonuses ranging from 100% to 25% on deposits. One can make good profits from them this season.

Can someone ban this idiot already?

I am also watching this person from the last day but I am not sure it can be considered as copy past and spam. That is why I am not reported anything but its good that you make a discussion about it.
I think this thread should be in Meta (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=24.0) or you just post this details in Report plagiarism (copy/pasting) here. Calling for Mod action: please permban (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1926895.0)

Nice find.  I just reported one of his posts, because it's obvious he's including that link to Vegascasino in each post, and though I'm not sure if it's a referral link, it's clearly spam.  I think this idiot ought to be banned.  He also probably got that merit through some unsavory means, like an alt account.  The member (TimeTeller) who gave him the merit is a Hero member, but you never know who's an alt of who.  The merit could also have been bought, but who knows.  There's no way of determining that, but the post in question was long but shitty and IMO did not deserve to be merited.

Hopefully the mods will agree with the above assessment and of Patatas's and at least give him a temp ban for spamming advertising.

IT's almost certainly a ref link, but either way it's ad spam. I nuked him.

Another account spamming the same referral link:
Vegascasino.io (https://vegascasino.io/promotions?utm_source=cc-vg-1) has pretty fast deposit. BTC only. They also give 100% bonus on first deposit and 50% on second one.
mrhyde47 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1700271) --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1700271;sa=showPosts

...and previously, in the same thread:
Hi, what are some good, trusted casinos with instant BTC deposits? (preferably decentralized)

You might want to check out Vegas Casino theirs is really fast as it depends on the miner. You can also see their promotions here: https://vegascasino.io/promotions?utm_source=cc-vg-1 I hope that helps you. All the best  :)
dustin10 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1348395) --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1348395;sa=showPosts

I swear I didn't search this. But as I am curious:

I think personally after seeing so many betting sites I was a bit disappointed. Just last month a friend introduced me to the new betting site "Vegascasino (https://vegascasino.io/promotions?utm_source=cc-vg-1)" as of then my attitude through casino games changed, I was so amazed. Vegascasino had everything I wanted. Low fees, easy cryptocurrency payments and many interesting features.

Online gambling is surely taking big share of gambling market. With bitcoin you can easily bypass your country's restrictions on gambling. Playing online you have much more games to choose from. Like on Vegascasino.io (https://vegascasino.io/promotions?utm_source=cc-vg-1). There also option to play on live tables if you want to feel casino atmosphere and social aspects of the game.

I believe everything got pros and con

Traditional Gambling
Need to travel to casino
Need to exchange fiat to chips
Restriction like age
More fun atmosphere if going with friends

Online gambling ( like you i also using  Vegas Casino (http://vegascasino.io/promotions?utm_source=cc-vg-1)  too)
Can play anything as long the online websites offers it
24/7 on your mobile phone
Takes bitcoin as mode of payment & deposit
deposit & reload bonus
Need good internet connection &  good headset for any online games
Strigent KYC but that depend on the online casino itself. Vegas casino allow anyone to sign up .
spectremy (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1333224) --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1333224;sa=showPosts

Few months back i purchased arround 15 to 16 btc when bitcoin price was 10000$ to 11000$ each btc but now arround 4000$ each btc .Just waiting for 11000$ for each btc than i should leave btc and i can see bitcoin have no future in this time.

Oh dear(( That's really a dramatical fall for you :-\

I was going through such experience as well. However, it was not so bad as yours..

One of my friends gave me an idea to try to recover the lost ammount in crypto casino ( of course if you know something about this or you are good at let's say card games).

I tried this one VegasCasino (https://vegascasino.io/promotions?utm_source=cc-vg-1)

Of course I was not able to recover all the money which were gone with the Bitcoin fall, but at least I was able to cover some of them with BlackJack. And of couse I had some fun as well)

What was good for me that US players are also accepted and the casino is reputable and licensed. Also they provide nice welcoming bonus of 225%. But read carefully how it is provided :)
goldgidder (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2492356) --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2492356;sa=showPosts

It seems this become regular practice lately.

Still all these users were spamming with their referral links on different threads,Why they haven't banned yet.

This thread doesn't belong to META?

What it looks like to me is that vegascasino.io are paying newbie rank members here to do the shilling in BCT, they are all using the same referral link to the website ending "vg-1" this newbie members obviously are not aware they are breaking the rules and vegascasino is all behind it. I think the proof that they are all using the same referral link is a rather convincing one that someone is already behind paying this newbie members if not they themselves have bought/created this accounts to do the shilling.

No, why? This is about a user and is not related to forum/forum issues anyway.

Mostly be the case. I won't be surprised if they hire more shills to do the same thing. The possibility of spotting such accounts by scanning their posts is very low and they have nothing to lose if caught. The permanent solution would be banning the website owners. Anyway, the thread served it's purpose now locking it.

Thanks @HilariousandCo

In today's Episode of VegasCasino and their Shills, we have a bunch of accounts which I believe are bought by the service to spam the forum with their bullshit. I understand, when gambling companies pay for signature campaigns they expect the members to promote their website in relevant threads but just blindly pushing the casino links in every other thread is plain shilling. Below I found a list of accounts which are shilling their service.

 CODE200 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=904980)

 Yatsan (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=857883)

 spectremy (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1333224)

Just view their last posts and find for the keyword[CTRL+F] "Vegas casino", you'd see 15/20 posts have vegascasino in them regardless the relevance of the topic.

I can't even find their official thread here anymore. But it's pretty evident the service is buying accounts/hiring shills to promote themselves by spamming the forum.

It's grand of you for finding that out but why haven't you tagged the above members? I mean, of course, it's your personal choice but have I made any mistake in terms of reporting or the specification of the accusation? They're clearly shilling I believe.

Reported 13 accounts.

  • CODE200 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=904980) (probably sold account)
  • Yatsan (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=857883) (probably sold account)

  • Tonyk2300 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2495522)

The vegascasino spam is getting a bit ridiculous. Frequently their longer posts are copy-paste from old posts or other sites. I hope all the newbies will be nuked+banned and all (IMO sold) accounts banned + vegas-posts removed.

Anyone who sees more of this spam in future from other accounts, please report to mods as well :)

Tagging won't stop them but other users will aware about this that they are promoting scam/untrustworthy website. I think moderators will handle it if someone already reported it same like first user on OP. Even we can't stop spammer/scammer but we can save others users from it by tagging. At least its temporary solution in my opinions.

Yes, you are right.
There is another "user" Kong Hey Pakboy (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=963953)
Check his post history. Last 20 they actually "answered" quoting Yatsan posts. Most often 5-20 minutes after Yatsan posts. Probably the same person controls both accounts.

Quoting few samples for reference and cut fraud links:

The most promising altcoins to me is ethereum and ripple because i think both of them has potential to increase it's price even more like bitcoin in the near future. Both of them also are good for long term investment, that is why a lot of people are buying ripple and ethereum for them to have a good profit. By the way, i am also playing a trusted and famous online casino which is "vegas casino (http://https:cut)" who also accepts bitcoin as payment, that is why a lot of bitcoin users play on this site.
I also think ethereum is one of the most promising altcoin because it can reach increase it's price like bitcoin in the near future, that is why a lot of investors are buying ethereum to have a good profit. Do you think upcoming altcoins could be promising like ethereum?

It's true that lets be careful on what we are investing because not all projects are worth for investment and some of them are scams and fraud, that is why we should be picky and be more careful in finding a project that we could invest. There are really a lot of bad projects nowadays because most of them do not reach the softcap and hardcap of the project, that is why bounty hunters could not receive their rewards. By the way, i am now playing in a trusted and famous online casino which is "vegas casino (http://https:cut)" because i like to play poker here that you can received good bonuses and prizes.
We really need to be careful in investing our money, especially for ICO projects that is not worth for investment because we won't get any good profit from it.

Even a lot of country had banned bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, it will still definitely survive because a lot of people still invest their money in cryptocurrencies. The market is also starting to recover and stops to fall down because cryptocurrency is becoming more popular that more people are interested to put their funds in cryptocurrency. By the way, i am now playing in a trusted and famous online casino "vegas casino (https://cut)" that you should try and play because you can received daily bonuses and prizes here.
You are right, even the government had banned cryptocurrency, it will still survive because cryptocurrency has a potential to be approved and legalize by the government in the near future.

I am pretty sure it took a week or longer after my reports, but the mods did an impressive job by deleting hundreds(?) of posts. So make sure to report the posts as well :)
Yep, I keep doing that as well. The reason I update this thread is that I want people to know how the website uses shills to promote itself when they can go for forum adds or something.

Tagging won't stop them from shilling the same sites, most of them were newbies so they don't even care about their trust ratings as well. Why mods didn't nuke those accounts which are clearly spamming the forum with vegascasino. ???
Tagging won't help. Nuking accounts won't help either since most of them are newbies easy to create one. What mods should do is nuke their service off bitcointalk.

I can create a large number of forum accounts and shill Crypto-Games.net with them. Should Crypto-Games then be nuked off of bitcointalk?

Do you have a better solution?

Another account was born today who started shilling for the casino with their first post. At this point, I think they're using bots to create accounts and post garbage data.

Nuking the account is the best possible solution because all their posts will be removed from forum if their account was nuked which completely destroy the purpose of shilling.
