Up to now, what is your #1 favorite cryptocoin, and why?

If you have a hard time to choose just one, please feel free to post your top 3.

Personally, Bitcoin has always had and will always have a very special place for being the first to get me into the space.

On top of that I like and support several coins of which at the moment my favorite is Tezos (XTZ).

Of course the first one I love is Bitcoin and Ethereum, because they both play an important role in building my finances so far, I only invest in BItcoin and Ethereum for now, because they have great potential.

#1 Ethereum
ethereum is a coin that I always hold because I think it's the most important and will continue to increase ... that's my opinion at the moment.

Since I Knew the crypto market until now. Bitcoin is my favorite and seems to be the fate that makes me come to the crypto market. Because it gives me a lot of passion and ambition to get rich. Besides I like XRP by the stability and good growth in recent times.

obviously..my favorite coin is bitcoin bcoz everyone knows that it is in the top and the best coin to invest ...secondly i choose ethereum for my next choice because it is in the second position and it is also good coin i think it is the only coin which can compete with bitcoin

I'm very practical, so I choose the top 3, Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple, the reason is very simple, they are profitable, had a huge community and they are always in the news so better practical and choose these three, and you can be sure that you will make a profit.

In my honest truth, my all time favorite cryptocurrency coin is Ethereum, because of its smart contract and it is easy to exchange into my local currency.

I would like to say ethereum is the biggest cryptocoin after all without even noticing other crypto. Ethereum is the future more than bitcoin.

1.Bitcoin,because it is first ever created crypto and standing in the long run after huge barriers.
2.Ethereum,which is the main coin needed for many tokens to work in their blockchain.
3.Monero because of its anonymity.

If I have to choose only one I will choose BITCOIN for sure. It's like gold in precious materials. IT's the most known and has lost less than all other coins in this bad period.

My most favorite Cryptocurrency is cryptocurrency that helps me get the most money. That is Raiblock (NANO). For a few months of 2017 I bought Raiblock at a very cheap price and kept it. By the end of 2017 Raiblock's price had increased almost 10 times and I had sold it all, but then its price continued to rise and 80 times more than when I started buying it.

You said cryptocurrency, not altcoin, so by far, the #1 favorite is Bitcoin.
However, I'll add 2 more to the list:
Monero and Dogecoin.

I don't hold Dogecoin anymore, I don't visit their reddit too often anymore (still going there at least 10-20 times/year), but the time I've spent there was great. Such a great community is hard to match and there's a good chance it'll stay much longer between the top all time favorites.

It seems to me that I can’t even answer by answering what most people wrote. Probably it is BTC and today it is really so. I like BTC and of course it is the main coin of the whole market.

In the first place in my investment portfolio bitcoin then Ethereum. I've always admired his platform and technology, especially since he has a great road map this year.

Personally, I like ETH because this coin is very promising and there is a strong and hardworking team behind it. Also this coin has low and operative transactions.

My favourite crypto coin is Ethereum, because I am using it every day for payments among the community and for ICO investments. Moreover a great hardfork and a blockchain update are coming pretty soon.

My first choice is BTC and the next is Ethereum as it is a promising coin in the market and a star competitor due to ridiculous market situation. Ethereum platform is really awesome when you compare with other alt coins, I am sure ETH is turning out to be a most influential coin in the crypto market. Ethereum is Just phenomenal and looks a like it has a great future ahead.

I like bitcoin and the eth most since those 2 are the coin on which we can believe and decentralized too which is the main aim of cryptocurrency.

actually making a list of top 3 coins can be quite a sad thing later if only our favorite coin has begun to be abandoned, because later we will realize that each coin has its own moment, when the moment is gone, as well as its reputation.
Maybe I would prefer Pundi X, Tron and EOS as my favorite.

For me it is Ethereum if i had to pick only one and im very positive about its future growth potential, mass adoption and huge applications. Secondly i also have respecr for Bitcoin as a pioneer cryptocurrency and the king of the lot and im also bullish about btc for longterm.

I still like waves and ethereum because it's very good for long-term handling. The use of the two altcoins is also almost the same and the platform is also a favorite

My favorite coin is Ethereum. I say this because when I was just starting to deal with cryptocurrency, I thought that it is worth investing in some kind of coin, but could not decide what. As a result, I bought Ethereum for $ 300 and did not regret it, although then it was possible to buy Bitcoin also relatively inexpensive, or other coins.

I have two favorites: Bitcoin and Ethereum. Bitcoin because its first coin and very perspective, long time stay in first place in the list. I think that soon the most popular cryptocurrencies Bitcoin and Ethereum will start moving towards each other. I mean the opposite sides of their development. The fact is that I am gaining popularity, and Bitcoin is losing relevance.

Well, actually I have some favorite coins that I can make it for trading. They are Ripple, Doge, and Tron.
however, for more investment, I think the coins from new ICO has attracted my curiosity to own it such as APOD, XRT, and also Grif.

It's so hard to name a favourite coin.

And even though this will split opinion, I think TRX deserves a mention.

Why, because they are making moves, 1million a/cs added, closing in on 8th place market cap to overtake Tether.

I think the battle with EOS will be won or lost not just on the number of dApps on each platform, although quantity is important, but on the quality of dApps.

I think people have a favorite altcoin still Ethereum and bitcoin , I think these coins are a good investment, so I would choose neo and etc I think they can reveal their potential

All the time for me was the preferred altcoin Ethereum. This is primarily due to the fact that for it you can buy any token. ETH can also be invested in any new project at the ICO stage.

Cybermiles and OCN are my favorite altcoin, when I got some profits when I bought and held this altcoin. In 2018 I got a profit of over $ 1300 when I bought these 2 altcoin at a cheap price and hold

my favorite crypto coin is the ethereum. because in any condition he was able to come back and give back the profits recovery.

For me, best favorite is bitcoin and ethereum. They are always top of my portfolio. I haven't found any other coins for 3rd.

Bitcoin of course, because its too good not to invest on this coin. If you want a good profit in long term, then investing more with bitcoin is ideal one. But since there are also some good altcoins that is worth investing for, my choice is with ETH, it can grow higher as the time past by and the future is in this market. Just keep on looking for good coins, and invest while you can.

Usually users here will start in bitcoin then they will suggest this so this will grow by that and for me this is really for trusted for investment actually this is so solid but if you look in price now i think this is really high already so it more possible that this will drops then it will grow after that so i think the best here now base in price are eth and xrp because they really cheap so if this will grow you can earn big another thing this two can be similar to btc price still btc,eth and xrp are very good for investment here in crypto

Probably Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash because they have cheap and fast transactions, while still being quite profitable for mining.

My #1 favourite cryptocoin will surely be ethereum, ethereum has brought me more profit than any other coin I can talk about,ethereum is my main.

In my opinion, number 1 is bitcoin. Whatever the conditions, for me bitcoin is the best. After that, Ethereum and Tron. In my opinion, the two altcoins showed good performance

My number one coin for me is only the bitcoin i will wait the price of bitcoin $20000 before i sell my bitcoin and i know it will reach at that price just like what happen in 2017 it is almost at $20000, this is only my coins that might could be change my lifestyle.

For me my favourites are bitcoin and ethereum ,they are the first ones to take the giant steps in sharks pool ,but its very costly for investing now ,I hardly make enough to invest in them so I go for cheaper altcoins

So I'd like to mention other tokens with a working product instead: MGO and MTRc. The first one is an e-sport platform for gamers worldwide. MTRc refers to ModulTrade marketplace platform with some cool stuff from modern devices to unique pieces of art.

I think I have to say bitcoin, not because it is the biggest one but also I have so much history with it. It was obviously the first coin I met, there wasn't much coins at the time when I started and bitcoin was the only one, there was namecoin and litecoin I think.

I was capable of mining bitcoin with my old laptop back than, I gambled with it and made a lot of profits and also losses, I sold my game character for bitcoin (I sold it for 1 bitcoin, looking back that was a great deal :D ) and I wrote for bitcoin and I sold stuff for bitcoin.

Basically not only bitcoin is the biggest coin out there but also it gave me a chance to quit my work and stay at home working freelance and make more money than I used to by working. My wife wakes up at 6:30 am in the morning and goes to school as a teacher and goes home at 6 pm and she makes about as much as I do and I start working at around 12-1 pm and stop at 5pm. How can I not love it.

Always BTC and my next option is ETH these both coins are best in the crypto market as this coins have a wide range of popularity in the market, these both coins are very fast in transactions and its specifications are different from other coins.

This is Dogecoin! Why? A coin that was made up for fun. Got popularity. Other coins appear and disappear, and dogecoin exists for itself. Without any scandals, hardforks, loud statements about anything. It just is, it works, and it's great!  8)

I have always liked ETH, because it is one of the high growth rates of altcoin, but it also experienced a sharp decline last year. However, I consider it an opportunity to earn a lot with it

For me, it has to be the Almighty HYDRO. I got it for completely free and I painstakingly held and was lucky to sell for a very decent amount. I have been trading it since and I must confess, I have made over 5 times the initial worth and have already grown my HYDRO holdings to millions and still holding. In this business, it pays to be patient when you hold the proper tokens. All you need to do is make sure you hold potential assets with functional teams and good products. You will surely hit gold someday.

I give rank for Bitcoin first and then ETH 2nd liked crypto coins to me because these coin provide good profit for me earlier but now the market value is low hence not selling the coin Hodl the coins for good value to come. Apart from BTC and ETH i can go for Stellar,EOS,NEO etc...

everyone has a favorite project he or she has in view and in most cases, have their investments. it is ideal to have done a market analysis (both fundamental and technical) before venturing into such investments but i consider my spotlight to be centred on Internext as it happens to be a great project and has kept to its roadmap.

My heart and my love will remain forever with Ethereum. The project is close to me in spirit, it is revolutionary, while constantly evolving. How can you not fall in love with this project?

Everyone would love bitcoin from the beginning they knew crypto, then they try to hunting it and found bitcointalk forum, but sadly what they get is ethereum. Bitcoin remains my favorite cryptocurrency, by right it occupies a high place, most also think so. Ethereum takes the second place, this year its value may increase.

My three favorite coins are BTC, XRP and ZRX. Bitcoin attracted my attention and opened a whole new world, I am grateful that thanks to him I learned about the crypto market. Ethereum definitely. But after that, the coins that i would like to invest in are XRP, waves, Steem, Smoke and Hydro. Hydro because i believe they have a very solid team. Smoke and Steem for the reason that they have a complete platform where they have a utility.

For me it was tix, it has a real potential to solve world problems with ticketing. The project is still moving forward even in the bear market. So i am still holding bags because they announced they will be releasing new ambassador names. Etc.

The coin is certainly good but already, a little losing ground , it has become a 3 coin, now ripple is in a bullish trend and I think it will be in the next bullish trend is good to show growth

first, of course i've fallin in love with Bitcoins, then i hold a lot of doge. until Ethereum appeared, i buy so much ETH. but, my most favourite cryptocoin is Ripple. now i have so many XRP too on my wallet. i believe Ripple will give me a big profit in the near future.

My favorite currency is Ether, I think in the near future it will be number one in the crypto world!

Not sure to mention it but so far I have favored ltc, eth, and stellar. There are many more but I only prioritize them and for bitcoin, yes it certainly has a special place for crypto holders and bitcoin will be the main one. Bitcoin , for the reason that bitcoin becomes the fundation and it gives other cryptocurrencies ideas. Besides, bitcoin gives me a lot of money back in the days.

At the moment it is still Bitcoin that remains the most established cryptocoin. Ethereum and Ripple are also the two remaining coins that are closest on Bitcoin.

My choice would be between ethereum and ripple. But between those 2 coins Ethereum is my best option for a good coins. Also Why don't i choose bitcoin,the reason would be because the price of bitcoin already been to high (even though the price is still drop).

My number one choice of crypto coin is ripple. Ripple has a whole lost of real use case.  Not just on whitepaper usecase but real solution to financial transactions

Steem. It started my journey into the cryptocurrency world and have learnt a lot since then. Community on Steem is more friendly too.

I started investing and mining coins since 2017 and so far my top coin of them all is still electroneum ,I believe so much in the project and I'm so sure it will succeed in the near future

There is so much crypto coins out there but still this three wont be taken out. Even with XRP and BCH out there, the trust rating for this three will never change for a lot of people. Proven and tested.

we all can only see the potential of coins from the movement of the market and its assets. we don't really see the long-term potential that coins can get. bitcoin will still be a favorite coin, and maybe some assets in the top 5 might be a good choice for investing.

There is no way I can choose what coin is going to be my all time favorite. But definitely, I can say that bitcoin is still the best coin that exists until now. And the other competing coins are close to each other's performance and I think they can also perform like bitcoin in the future.

Bitcoin, which allows me to meet Blockchain, is my undisputed favorite coin. And also one of the biggest factors are to be first, to be decentralized and to be transparent. I love Bitcoin :)
 

In my opinion, the future of cryptocurrencies lies with the platforms. The most promising of them are Ethereum, NEO, EOS. I think most projects will be built on these platforms, which will increase the liquidity of their tokens.

My all time favourite coin is Ethereum, I love the fact that Ethereum has so many tokens so I wouldn't be downloading different wallets when I want to store most of the tokens from exchanges, I also just love the seamlessness in the blockchain.

Well for me ,i love several coins but since you asked for my favourite, i would go for bitcoin, this has gained more acceptance and is already used as a means of payment in  some places.

It's true that we can't ignore the power of bitcoin, because the greatest coins for now, although different from last year...Automatic change in other bitcoin coins will follow changes, I currently can't predict what coins are good other than bitcoin..!!

I like bitcoin, maybe bitcoin is the first crypto that can give me profit every year even when the market is bad. even though prices are down now, but bitcoin still has hope to rise again. different from other coins that have no potential.

Theres will only ever be 21 million bitcoins , there is no way in the world that it can drop back down to a few cents.

BTC and ETH of course because of their popularity and of course their own technology. I’m also loving to hold some XEM because of their team effort to promote their project here in my place and its good to feel like they really care for the users, Hold more good coins as much as possible.

Well most of the people are going to say bitcoin is their most favourite cryptocurrencies and the reason why is,it is standing even after 10 years and hoping for the great future ahead.Other altcoins may not worth like bitcoin but they are capable of giving more profits in short term.

Well for me, it's the ethereum coin. Because i have been earning from ethereum a year ago by joining a bounty campaign that pays ethereum. And ethereum that time is about 320 dollars of its price.

My favorite cryptocoin is Ethereum, because ethereum is very fast for transfer and has good project with good developer. I think ethereum will growing in the future and i'm not scare for invesr my money on ethereum.

#1 Ethereum of course because more than 200 coins uses Ethereum background system. Its more reliable and faster than Bitcoin. Price is too low at this moment but it will make x5 at least in next year.

For me, I think Bitcoin is the first, followed by STRAT and ADA, that are the coins that I mainly used for trading platforms and also I know they are volatile and can give mo more profit soon.

related to favofit it seems that this is personal in that everyone has their own views in choosing or determining an altcoin which we think is good, now my favorite altcoin is on eos, why? because this coin growth is very good even now the EOS platform has been used by several ico developers. this is my altcoin favofit for the future.

When i check my portfolio it seems that my favorite coin is waves. I still have faith that it can be successful as ETH near future. I keep both of them but I trade waves altcoins which can give me profits even bear market condition.

My coin nxt was that I've had very nice profits until this time. He had such a beautiful acceleration that he came to very beautiful places. Even though you couldn't make it to the top, we had good profits.

Bitcoin is the first crypto I've known and until now bitcoin remains number one in my portfolio. There are also some alts that I have but they aren't a priority in my investment. I might buy some alts but the amount will not exceed the nominal that I use in bitcoin.

In 2018 was the MTC as it turned out to make good money,and so there are about 10 projects that I like,but they are not what has not yet earned, I think that such projects as GMA, KIN, HB, XRP, and many others, I veyu that they will give great profits to investors, and sun will receive their well-deserved awards

I like some coins that have passive income mechanism, they have a great potential to grow fast on a bull market. NEO, Decred, Miracle Tele. I think, I'll some more of these after another huge market dump :)

of course my favorite coins are ethereum and bitcoin, because both are the most influential at the moment. besides that I also like TRON because I experienced a significant increase. I also invest there.

The number one coin is Ethereum and I think it is obvious. This coin is used on a regular basis by almost every single member of our community for daily transactions as well as for participating in ICO projects.

Used to be bitcoin, but the bitcoin I remember turned into Bitcoin Cash and not bitcoin... Then Bitcoin Cash got fractured as well, so I'm not even sure anymore.
I like Universa because of its high-tech advancements, throughput, active leader and actual potential to revolutionize industries - but I don't see it as a top 10 coin.

Although I am a Bitcoin savvy investor and trader, I would like to start by stating that it is not my favorite option. Next to bitcoin is ethereum and I'm sure that everyone does have the same favorite line of coin. To the person that said he doesn't have any favorite coin, it isn't necessary to have a favorite coin but how come that someone like doesn't prefer any coin?

Doge. Yea, mean good ol' $DOGE. Only experienced traders really appreciate the value usefulness of Doge. Especially when you sight or simply get the wiff of an arbitrage opportunity.

until now BTC is still my favorite coin even though the price is currently down but I still haven't suffered a loss because I got it when the price is still below the current price.
and I still plan to continue to add my Bitcoin.

Personally, I prefer Ethereum most of all, but this is only because it is more convenient for me to work with Ethereum, but Bitcoin as a coin in the long term is in the first place.

Although the price has dropped dramatically, ethereum is still my favorite altcoin for now, its smart contract system makes transaction costs very cheap compared to bitcoin. I don't know if bitcoin is an option - I have had bitcoin for so many years, I have even spend some of them on good items, so therefor the only real cryptocurrency for me is bitcoin, all others are just pretenders there where late to the party ;-)

This is definitely BTC because this project is probably the main project of this whole cryptocurrency world. I am sure that today there are very many supporters of a different opinion who think the opposite. But I am sure that today we all understand very serious things.

Eos - Good platform and can defeat ethereum for long term run
Ethereum - the no. 2 biggest altcoin
Litecoin - good for long term hold.

Altcoins are not created as figures in coin competition. Investing in old, top cryptocurrency will not give the same return in the investment as others make an investment in potentially low cap altcoin.

while low-capacity Altcoin can still produce, of course, it will be chosen by many people, but if you choose low-capacity Altcoin it has a greater risk so sometimes someone chooses high-capacity Altcoin and has great opportunities in the future.
