What do you think are the prospects for Litecoin prices?
The coin is really convenient to use as a means of payment.

if my prediction for this year is that Litecoin will definitely experience a good price increase, because Litecoin is like ethereum it's easy to experience price increases

Litecoin is really a fantastic project, to me i rate it second next to bitcoin with its full range benefits and development.
But 12% increase is still a lower price. and yes it is a very fast means of payment,

Litecoin like other PoW coin is == Store of Value like gold or silver

I do rate litecoin highly but the market situation and lack of volume is what that is keeping market down, for litecoin im definitely looking for 200 to 300 mark and at the moment it is very undervalued and maybe a good buying opportunity.

I think I read somewhere that this rise is because Litecoin will implement the Mimblewible protocol, sorry if I spell this wrong. In this case and as I wrote another post this is what Litecoin must do to go up. Not just get comfortable that it is high on the top but make sure that it keeps us interested. Same goes for all coins, they must have substance and good use.
If Litecoin does this then it will see good prices the next bull run.

I think the prospect of litecoin is quite good this year. LTC increased 12% today when news about the LTC May is spread, which is a good sign.

I think litecoin is going to achieve another milestone this 2019 just like it rose from $2 in early 2017 and got to its ATH. Litecoin is designed to follow after bitcoin and it will most likely prove that this year.

It's quick and fees are way cheaper than others. I wouldn't base my opinion just because we have seen it today rise by 12%. I'll rejoice if I see a total recovery from Litecoin and it's quite alarming on my case that when we see such pumps, you know what's next. I'm not trying to be negative here and I'm even happy to see that the market starts to become stable and has reached its probable support though I just want to say to others that just don't be too confident.

40$ is the next target of the LTC in the coming days, and in 2019 I believe the LTC will reach 100$ or at least 80$ when 2019 ends. LTC is one of my favorite altcoin and is investing in it

It has already become a fact that altcoins increase their price only when BTC increases... So, on the bullish trend it will get to the Moon. Anyway, we should discuss BTC in 2019 or even crypto market.

Being wise and knowing things that influenced the current movements will allow you to prevent possible trapped, there's always the other side of a great movement inside this industry, we need to be more extra careful yet observant in order to make a proper call, litecoin give it's supporters a good bounce
and create some interest with traders who's dealing with sorting the market, just need to avoid big whales to play dip so the recovery period will last for long.

I don't think so. maybe its just a little pump. all on the market now is in green. if litecoin release an update maybe the price will pump more.

I have to say that this is nothing more than talk about the fact that LTC will really try to shoot this year, the higher the better. It seems to me that therefore today it makes sense to really try to invest in LTC

It is a Bitcoin clone so on long term have no prosperity, because whatever Litecoin will do that will be innovative and fundamental, Bitcoin will do also.

Litecoin has been doing very well lately I do not know how long it can sustain its current growth but if you are a trader then you can still get some profits by buying now, but not as many as those that took a position weeks ago when its price was clearly too low, but my short term prediction for litecoin is that we could get to see a price of 50 dollars for each coin which is not bad because even those that buy now could get a 15% profit if we reach that price.

LTC shows an incredible growth today. Perhaps it's because of halvening, maybe some other reason. +30% for one day is a really great result at the bear market. But I still suspect there will be dump soon. The excitement of community is very high today, after so prolonged period of a sideways price movement. It would be very interesting for whales to make a bull trap now and go down to a new bottom afterwards.

Because I think LTC were swinging once Bitcoin price goes up. I noticed LTC price movement is just like the Bitcoin movement, that's why that coin also has a good potential too. I hope so this is not bull run and it will continue rising up, let just wait the possible happen of the price increase at this month.

Litecoin halvening will be soon, so we can predict that Litecoin will rise because the reward mined block will be smaller. So the price should rise to satisfy miners  :D.

Even bitcoin is still struggling to gain recognition.. so I see don't see litecoin which is just a copy of bitcoin gaining much recognition as a means of payment anytime soon

I remember that i bought litecoin from $80 and sold them in 3 months to $320.. Those were very bright days and maybe we won't be able to see that high prices again soon. Anyway litecoin is one of the strongest coin for me, it has its own system and wallet. Just like the ethereum and stellar, the Litecoin price went down too much and i believe there will be some recovery because those coins can't loose anymore.

Litecoin is the second time I am surprised because the second time the cryptocurrency market have gone up once Litecoin is added to the price. I think that too high growth from Litecoin should not be expected in the long term, but it will not yield to the same Bitcoin.

Litecoin is a very strong & promising coin. It is a fork of bitcoin. In 2019 people have many expectations from it. I hope it reaches in peak. People also have full trust on it. According to me future of litecoin is bright in 2019.

Do we really have any expectation from LTC? Why? Why should we buy or HODL LTC? It is only copy of BTC. There is only one expectation from it now. About Halving... Halving may rise the price soon. But then? What will LTC do different from BTC?

I think many predict that this year's litecoin price will also increase, because litecoin is also starting to grow and is also a good investment in the future.

I am still holding my LTC and I believe this coin will have great success in the future. LTC is one of old member in altcoin, and it is similar like bitcoin, but faster and less transaction fee. Not sure if there are chance the price rise back like in 2017.

Litecoin is really recovering and if you have been holding it I will encourage that you should keep them because selling litecoin below $100 is like wasting your time and fund.  I think in a fair grounds litecoin ought to be above $100. Sometimes litecoins must growing up and going down but some of holders still buying it and for sure it will gave an future someday at this days im focusing on XRP.

Litecoin launch a payment gateway within a few months if it wasn't wrong, and they later became sponsors of a sports event and I think this is enough to make Litecoin an investment medium besides Ethereum and other altcoins.

I thought of this coin as abandoned one when the developer itself announced that he sold most of his holdings on it. But again, it seems to be alive again and people are chasing to get it again. My point is that it is a flat line up, you can angle that line any which way and just state that you expect litecoin to go up/down based on the line placement.  To me it just doesnt seem relevant given the wide price fluctuations over and below it.

I dont get why you quoted this?  Litecoin offers incredible liquidity if that is what you mean.  These new projects are hit or miss, they might catch on a high volume exchange or they might not.  Litecoin will always be traded on most every exchange and even have its own alt/pairs.

Old coins don't have any advantage in price appreciation because the investment needs are very low compared to reality and new coins will have more opportunities to increase prices in the near future. The current market is difficult to predict but Bitcoin will still be a good investment coin and if the market enters an uptrend, many new projects will have very good growth in the next few years.

Bitcoin uses SHA256 and Litecoin uses Scrypt. I don't see how they're "running on the same algorithm". Now I personally have three favorites: Litecoin, Bitcoin cash and TRON. They are from China, they have the ability to make fast transactions and hold good positions in the ranking.

Litecoin is a good cryptocurrency, and it is one of the most reliable altcoins. However, the price for one alt might not grow greatly until Bitcoin reaches 15 thousand at least. I guess the maximum possible price for one LTC will be 80 dollars. On the other hand, its market capitalization is growing, and it can take the 45th or even the 4th place among the best-rated cryptocurrencies on CMC.

The only way litecoin is going to gain significantly is if bitcoin does and litecoin at least retains its own value in terms of bitcoin.  I don't think ltc is going to increase on its own, because it just isn't sexy anymore like it used to be.  I wouldn't deny that ltc has a fairly strong community and won't be one of the coins that dies in the next 10 years, but its sort of like dogecoin.  It isn't a good coin for traders (tho better than doge in that respect).

Ofcourse LTC will rise at least in 2023 they will held a halving which might pump the price. People won't leave LTC because LTC has a very fast transaction speed and i'm usually buying LTC for transferring my assets between exchange. At the beginning of year 2019, litecoin seemed to be skyrocket altcoin. It is nearly surpassed it's all time high. Imagine, 12% during the month of February. But look at it right now, it is hard to move up. I think it will gonna be a long term hold for it. I bought litecoin because of litecoin halving. I just don't think 2020 will be the year of Litecoin. There's just too many new projects for people to invest in that aren't LTC. A few years ago, I could see Litecoin really taking off.
