Monero is a very good and well-established coin on the market which strikes the attention of users because of its anonymity. The project is developing and it has no problems, good capitalization. I don't think investors will be cold-blooded to Monero. I think that Monero all a great chance to overcome this psychological mark.

I doubt that Monero will reach $500 this year. A lots of coins is struggling, even bitcoin so what it doesn't makes any sense for Monero to suddenly jump in price when the most beloved coins is not having a sort of bull run. You also have to factor that Monero is a privacy coin, so there will be a lot of struggles specially governments who are trying to discredit it, for the reason being it's going to be used by criminals.

Nah, I don't see Monero getting into that price. The only moment we can see it getting to that level is that the market goes on another bull-run. It's last ATH is $542.325. We are down 90%, how do you supposed to overcome that this year alone? We need to see the market pump like 2017, but I doubt we are going to see it this year.

I don't see it going to that price by the end of the year without a serious bull run which doesn't look like it will happen for a while yet. But monero is a very good coin and its low supply and technology will send the price back up soon I believe.

I don't really know if this can happen or not. It will depend on the recovery of Bitcoin. But i think that it is possible one day to see this price, but i don't know if it will happen this year.

There are so many news spreading that Monero will going bullish this year 2019. The current price of XMR is $50 and I really doubt it will go up that far. Even if it has a great objective and platform, i do not think it will hit $500.

Monero is just 52 dollars right now. It has a marketcap of 900 million dollar or so which is not bad at all. Having monero at 500 dollars in one year is literally X10 increase, which is very very unlikely unless all of the market increases as well. If bitcoin reaches to 10k+ and ethereum reaches to 1k+ and ripple reaches to 5+ than yeah monero could definitely hit 500+ as well but if others are not going up that much than I doubt monero could reach there neither.

I mean monero is 13th in market cap right now which is definitely great for them but if it goes x10 without others going up that means it will become 4th biggest coin with about x3 more marketcap than the next coin, do you really feel like that is something that's viable at all? Bullish Case

Yes, tether should be avoided, but if you were able to invest into crypto as a whole, I would put my pension on that. Probably just invest into the top 10 coins propotionally to thier marketcap. When the market goes up over the next 10 years, you win... Sure there will need to be some rebalancing as new coins join the list and old ones fade but all in all, I believe crypto is here to stay.

Monero will have 18.1 million mined mid 2022. So in 3 years time.  After that it will add like 150k XMR every year. And that way forever secured its network not needed  to rely on fees.  Number of daily mined Monero decrease drastically. and went from 25k in April 2014 to 2150 XMR today. 25k XMR mined daily was huge selling pressure that kept Monero price low for years. Now that pressure is slowly going away and that will reflect on Monero Bitcoin ratio.

I dont think $500 Monero in 2019 is likely to happen. Yes of course it is possible but for that needs a serious adoption to happen. Without that adoption to happen and relying only on Bitcoin cycle we should see a $500 Monero in beginning of 2021.

In my opinion, not because their highest achievement monero is only when exposed to bullish market influences and in my opinion to return there seems to be very distressed for monero, and also coins that can be mined mainly problems are difficult to increase prices except for major coins like bitcoin

Price prediction hardly works in this space, because for its volatility. Many coins have been predicted to reach a certian price but none ever fulfilled that prediction. No it will stay at around 150k.  What will decrease is a % that that will add to the whole number of coins in existence. I believe it will be 0.87% yearly and then just decreases slowly.   Gold yearly mined inflation is between 1.5% and 2%.  Current Monero yearly issuance inflation is around 4%

Monero is a well known currency and a lot of peoples are using it but I don't think that they stay at the same level.

Forks every six months, where did you get such news? I have never heard anywhere that Monero will do automatically scheduled hard-fork for each six-month period. Every fork create a bit chaotic situation, with dramatical impacts on prices, and if it is not serious thing to do, there is  no reason to make forks. There are also lots of risks for network before and after the fork days. Over forking cause a very messy network, that can be used to spread FUDs and exploited.

I hardly think if that price will be achieved giving reference to the current price. Nevertheless, it can still happen if and if the team have something huge up their sleeves. I estimate the Monero price for this year will be the highest value of USD 120, because until today it's almost 1 month the price of Monero is in the range of USD 90. Even though this coin is one coin that has good prospects, and marketing is also good.
But prices move slowly, and even tend to be stagnant. It once reached USD 97 on May 28, 2019, after going down again along with the bitcoin price movements that tend to fall. Today the price is USD 86.

I dont think it will surge to that length this year as that is the ATH it has reached and it will take some year may be next year to get to that or upper year which 2021 no one can tell as the current situation is still very unpredictable to every one but we are following the market regularly and hope for best in short time.

Monero community always growing and its solid community. Monero price could reach $500 depend on bitcoin price, it bitcoin reach above $10k, monero could reach $500 but i dont think this will happen this year. Its anonymous coin and traded in many big exchangers, anything could happen with monero

Monero is a very good and high ranking coin and its price is growing well! But I don't think Monero price can become 500 USD this year. Lots of people stop holding Monero because of BNB, BCHABC are profitable coins nowadays! Some people think Monero is illegal! Overall, it is not possible to hit 500 USD for this year, but I am not sure about XMR price later this year.

if based on the graph the increase from 2018-2019 monero is almost close to $ 500 and it cannot be ascertained if the price of Monero coins will be in the position above $ 500. now the price of Monero is under $ 150 and yet the potential of Monero is very good so we can be sure that Monero can reach prices above $ 500 but in 2019 it is still difficult and needs a process

I actually changed my mind. I believe now Monero have chances to reach $500 this year. But only if Bitcoin reaches $20k so crypto hype start.

Monero won't be anywhere close to $500 this year, it will be a miracle if it even reaches $200.  It is slowly dropping down on the list on Coinmarketcap and even Bitcoin SV is ranked higher now :(  I still think it is worth buying but I would invest more into altcoins like ethereum instead.

Monero is a good altcoins and I'm holding few in my portfolio but let's not exaggerate its value ,if xmr have to get to 500$ this year then it will only happen if altcoins season takes place

No it won't. I believe monero is a good alt. But i'm pessimistic to see monero goes to $500 in just several months remaining. Bearish market always come and drop monero price. But i hope the price will raise again since bitcoin and other alts price are in a good trend.

Highly unlikely, monero for me has been one of the heaviest disappointments in the crypto industry. Together with doge, these two have simply refused to fulfill their true potentials and have continued to be stunted in terms of growth. The legitimate reason could possibly be that it seems that laws are tightening around cryptos and their privacy . this could mean that privacy coins will get new influx of capital.

Indeed there is a demand for privacy focused crypto coins but if Monero can manage to reach 500 dollar in 2019 is a big stretch. Coming near it would already be a accomplishment.

First let this crypto winter get over for alts market, then we will see how monero plays its role in regulated market. many countries working on regulation and some even thinking of ban, while few want all details of crypto users. so such thing will definitely boost adoption of privacy coins and monero is one of the best among them. We may also need privacy protocol for Dapps and smart contracts too so hope there will something which offer smart contracts tech like ethereum and privacy feature like monero.

Everything is possible. Monero is on demand among dark net guys. So 500 $ price is achievable because drugs and cyber crime is growing, so there is more demand on monero

Monero dont have fake marketcap as BSV have. All Monero coins were fairly mined.  It also did not had an ICO as ETH. so no one was able to buy Monero coins for almost free. 1. whatever billion USD is real marketcap of Monero.

He said that "Privacy coins will win". $500 is a very far target for Monero, that might not be reached soon and easily. Anyway, we can have another reason to belief in future of Monero, and it makes sense especially after recent terrible falls of the coin. I think that Monero has to recover to the range of price around 0.03 BTC first, before being able to catch more attention from investors (old, and new)

So that's about 85% down from its previous highs. So I doubt that it can even reach $200 this year. I was thinking that it could be somewhat stable around $100-$200 only. And what till the real bull run in 2020. The so called spike we have seen so far is just mini runs to me.

I'm expecting that something big will only happen in 2020-2021.

I agree with you that Monero will not reach the price of USD 500 until the end of this year. On this day July 27, 2019 the price of Monero is still at USD 81 so to reach USD 500 is of course very difficult.

Many investors try to watch on the 2017 situation as a sample and etalon. But today is not the same. Every day has own features and own reasons for growth. And 2019 is not the XMR time
