Title: Any Decent Exchanges?
Post by: PHDJarrod12 on May 26, 2019, 01:48:01 PM
After the Binance hack, I no longer use Binance. Delayed withdraws, hacks, ect. I just don't want to deal with them anymore. So, with that being said, I want to find a new exchange for my crypto needs. I also, am not a fan of Coinbase/Coinbase Pro due to their Bitcoin Cash fiasco. I've been reading about several exchanges and HITBTC is one that keeps popping up. It seems like it has a decent amount of positive sentiment surrounding it (https://tipestry.com/topics/5ce9b551e528302571b89464/hitbtc-possibly-insolvent,-claims-new-report). What do you guys think? Is it worth using? Have any of you ever used this exchange?

Well is your choice. But what is the problem with coinbase? If you want you can try Kucoin, but anyway is your choice, i used on past Kucoin and Binance, and now i use coinbase more.

Well in my opinion you should use switch.ag (http://switch.ag) they don't require personal information and you don't need an account, trade between +150 alts and other stuffs like giftcards.

And if you like that they got a dex which is the one i use mostly Switchdex.ag (http://Switchdex.ag) worth checking up, depending on your needs as a trader this could be a good option for you

Check the exchange in my signature - they're relatively new but under a very experienced CEO, fully regulated, all necessary licenses etc - they'll be around for years (can't say the same for many of today's exchanges).
They also have their token that powers the exchange(like Binance), but will also offer far more features than only trading assets.
CoinMetro (http://www.coinmetro.club) - for the monthly raffle going on for new members right now(chance to win ~$175 in their token, XCM).  :)

Fiat deposits/withdrawals - crypto deposits/withdrawals
coming soon: margin trading/lending, debit card, TAM, ETCF..
Only exchange needed nowadays except for the cryptos not listed, but they'll be listing 3 new per week  ;D

There are still many lists of trustworthy exchanges such as kucoin, bittrex and maybe live coin. So far I have personally tried to trade in each of these exchanges and have no problems.

HitBTC is not a recommended exchange. Binance is way better than HitBTC though they have been hacked recently because they handled it smoothly without putting the risk on the customers' side. HitBTC also known for withdrawal delays, high withdrawal fees for certain coins as well as account freezes without valid reasons.

Out of the exchanges I have used so far, Bitstamp is the one that satisfied me. They have decent withdrawal times for all coins and never faced any issue so far.
But if you want an exchange that doesn't ask your KYC details, then it is not the exchange for you.

@OP, the HitBTC you is having more controversies, most especially about looking more like scam and that you need to be careful in using it. Although i am not saying it is an outright scam exchange, but that the Binance you are ruling out is better than it.

When you choose an exchange, you should follow some hints.
- I can buy this coin only in one exchange?!
- What are the condition for deposit /withdrawal? KYC? TOS? Complaint over the internet?
- Any topic in bitcointalk (and some representative here available for support and provide all information?)
HitBtc has received a lot of complaints during the past months/weeks....

HitBTC needs to fill KYC, and I know that when I log into my account but I am not proceeding in that day.
If you are fine with KYC, then you can try with bittrex or poloniex because both exchanges have a big volume trade and it's a big exchange too besides of binance.
Kucoin will be a good choice too, and I think you can try with bitmex if you are curious with leverage trading.

Are you guys kidding? We have more than enough good exchanges. Take a look how many exchanges we had in last bull run 2017.
And problem of the security will be here forever, due to its nature: centralization.

The hack was a bad news for binance but that didn't stop traders or investors to stop using binance. I just like the way binance managed the news and kept their users cool through it all. If you decide not to use binance again, that's your choice but you may have to reconsider later.

Wasn't it partly users fault for falling for phishing?

KUCOIN, LBANK, IDAX and binance ar eone of the most intimidating exchange.
though there are so many coins who want to be listed on low value website which is not good.
have you seen the IEO of LATOKEN and once listed the coins went trash?

Just search for the scam accusations agains hitbtc on this forum. I don't think its reputation is not that far from Yobit when it comes to pumping and dumping. If you have not heard of Bittrex yet, you may check on that.

I am surprised to read this, maybe you are not aware of the fact that every exchange is hackable and what matters mist is the security of funds after such incident. Binance provides an insurance cover, I hope your new exchange has that

For me, every exchange is a decent one, as long as there are demand on the token or coins selling.
what can we do on a high volume exchange thoug we dont have any buy wall to see?
we should see everyhting then.

before i used bittrex and kraken but then they introduced the obligatory kyc and i stopped using them, hitbtc seems to me too slow and also require kyc, so i switched to binance and despite the recent problems it still has my confidence i believe it will continue to be my main exchange

All the exchange can be hacked as happened with binance but with the most important thing that the bincane return the money to people, anyway you can try okex or huobi

I think Binance is the best exchange, they did very well with the hack, but every exchange is dangerous to have coins for a long period of time
You could try Kucoin, they seem very secure and realiable

I would like to point out that there is no exchange that is 100 percent safe and the idea to consider some less known exchanges over big ones but has been recently compromised is very dangerous. That particular Binance hack only made Binance much more stronger and robust. Additionally, oftentimes we have limited choices for an exchanges because it all depends on the coin / tokens that we are holding whether its being listed on that particular exchange or not. I guess the best recourse for this to minimize damage to our investments is to transfer those funds immediately out of any exchange to a private wallet once you've done trading asap.,

well to all these complaints about Binance, there's more to exchanges than just if they're safe or not.

First of all, hitbtc is a shit and shady exchange. Stay a bit from it. You will face problem withdrawing btc and will be asked for KYC, if you do, it will also be lengthy process and will not accepted sometimes.
Better you use Kucoin. Smoot and quite fast, as well as secured.

Binance was hacked and they are proven to be able to handle it, now they are supposed to be better and you get away from them. Ah, I can't imagine you move to other exchange which never had been hacked and one day they are hacked and can't recover investors's fund. Anyway, there is no safe exchanges, just choose one that are ready to be responsible for any loss. There is no better place to trade crypto than Binance, for now.

The last time I checked, Changpeng Zhao, Binance CEO activated the safu funds which serves as insurance to cover for the loss and Normal trade activities has since begun. I even traded Matic days back and everything was smooth. What could be the problem?

Coinbase Pro is also included in the best market category. If viewed based on CMC sources, based on the Adjusted Volume, Coinbase is included in the top 36, and if viewed based on Reported Volume, Coinbase is listed in 43.
But in this regard, Coinbase Pro is far behind Binance. Binance gets 2nd position (Adjusted Volume), and 3rd position (Reported Volume).
But the most important thing for us is security and comfort in using the exchange.

Stop following tipstery and try to search on google about the HitBtc! Then you know, It has a more bad review than good! If you don't like Binance then that is your choice. But I suggest you, have a look into Bittrex, Kucoin or Coinbase. Coinbase is the best crypto exchange for me, it is easy to use and very fast too!

Oh please not HitBtc.
You are going to regret it in the long run or maybe even on the start line. ;D

Binance hack is nothing to be worried about.
They are almost the number exchange out there. Do you really think they could just do something evil tgat would also crash their business which is now growing like crazy?
I dont think so.
Those slow transactions though are everywhere. Digifinex made me withdraw my funds for 3 freaking days before I got it.

You will just have to live with it. If not then you could use dynamic modes with hard wallets.

t must be very difficult to trust other exchangers when we know that exchangers as well as binance can still be hacked, if the good ones still have weaknesses then who else do we give our trust? surely there will be many new exchangers that will be doubted
yes, that's what I used to think about but in the end I threw away that thought because binance will definitely make changes and improve their security so things like that don't happen again, and new exchangers, they will certainly take lessons from old exchangers like binance and try be better than them

Although binance has a hack history, I don't feel loss and doubt. Binance is very responsive to user needs. The hacker case has been dealt with well, binance is doing its best by updating their security and issuing insurance (SAFU) to users.

I use hitbtc occasionally (and have never had major issues with them) but it seem there is a lot of controversy surrounding them,John McCafee has always been critical about them. I think bittrex is good/safe, once you get past the kyc hurdle but the trade volume has plummeted in recent times. They still have good reputation. I think there are trade offs with every exchange.Aferall, no one ever though binance could be hacked.

Regardless of the hack incident binance is still a very good exchange. However if you are not willing to continue using binance there are other good exchanges like kucoin bitmax
The fact remains that each exchange is an average one, insofar as there are request on the token or coins selling.
what would we be able to do on a high volume exchange Though we dont have any purchase divider to see?

It doesn't really mean that if binance have gone through that rough days, it cannot get well back to its initial position before, if you are going to look at it, they are transparent, providing all the needed information for the public to see and understand. In that case, they are proven to be professional. Let us give them a good time to be reputable again.

What about Bittrex exchange. It is reliable, and there is low trading and transaction cost. Transaction is also fast. When talking about binance exchange, the world's leading exchange, it think it is too early to say that binance is not worth using. The exchange has been hacked, and it is trying its best to provide full service to customers. We should praise its efforts instead.

You are just one of the users that sees it's risky to use this exchange again since it was hack with a big money.
How about trying different exchanges with good trading volume also, check on this ranking https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/.

Honestly, I still used Binance, and if you like Bittrex you can try as well, but you need to be fully KYC compliant to use it.

I think there are many Crypto Exchanges (https://cryptolinks.com/cryptocurrency-exchange) out there worthy of trying but we obviously need to be selective with which to go with. It makes very little sense for us to try new. So ultimately we need to select out of the top available options only. It obviously includes Coinbase, Binance and such other exchanges. Ultimately, it is all about going for something that we are comfortable and secure with, I really don’t think we have to worry about anything else at all.

I too was looking for alternative exchange to use but almost all of them has at least one complaints.
Bitfinex has a depositing fees. Polo has higher trade fees.
Popularly rising exchange like liquid have some unresolved scam accusations. Bitpanda also looks good but has other issues.
Many of other popular exchange are focused on Chinese character understanding communities.

HitBTC is one of the leading crypto exchanges. Its low transaction fee, instant withdrawal and deposit make this exchange very much popular among its users across the world. But Binance is also good and leading crypto exchange. We cannot say that its time has been over just as it has been hacked. There are instances that many exchanges have come to life after a hack.

It's better to keep most of your funds with you and just the amount you want to place orders on the fund. Binance is my choice of exchange. They have lower fees and better security results. Though the last hack was devastating to it's reputation, it's SAFU was good enough to insure any hack from it's hot wallet and it would still be one if the safest exchange in future.

Why is there something wrong with coinbase? I actually uses coin base but if you’re not happy with coinbase you can use Kucoin or Binance. There are always a risk but if you’re not comfortable with coinbase I suggest you use Binance it is very popular and it has a better security. Binance has lower fees so it has a better outcome. There are so many out there you just need to be mindful and don’t trust easily it’s best if you do a research. Risk is a part of cryptocurrency anyways. You win some and lose some.

Crypto exchanges differ in transaction costs, supported cryptocurrencies, trading pairs, and interface, among others. Coinbase is considered by many to be the most beginner friendly exchange. It has a minimalist and simple user interface. If you are a newbie crypto investor, you can also take advantage of its low fees. Coinmama also has good reputation, and if you plan to purchase crypto with a credit or debit card, this would suit you.

Other crypto exchanges like Bittrex that supports more than 190 cryptocurrencies is also good for trading. It offers speedy transactions, high stability, and follows some risk management practices. BitFinex is also one of the larger crypto exchange in terms of volume and users, which also has low trading fees.

If Cryptopia was still around I would have recommend it to you however is no longer Running and it close for a dramatic reason. For now just go for Hitbtc it has a userfriendly interface too. you just need to explore it a little while and Im sure you are good to go.

you are about to join another silly exchange that can get you burnt. hitbtc happens to be a problem especially when it comes to deposit and withdrawal. there customer services can be problematic. delays to responds. we can not forget about false volumes and fake trading when it comes to Hitbtc.

Binance,OKEX,Coinbene, Bittrex and Coinbase are safe and trusted exchanges i normally use these all. I wind up to use small exchanges after hack of cryptopia. .
from the exchange you mentioned, I prefer to use binance and okex exchanges because in other exchanges there are now a lot of negative cases that occur. even though binance exchanges were some time ago hit by a hack case but they are very good because they have insurance funds and have prepared things like that.

most legit ones Kraken/Coinbase
(and coinmetro (http://www.coinmetro.club))

After binance exchange, i can't say any exchange is safe %100.

There are some exchanges which have a good track record but these things getting devastated with just one hack.

sorry, it wasn't my intention to vilify HITBTC before. Within 1 year, there have been many negative responses about HitBTC, many of the members here are disappointed with this exchange platform. One of them is here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2556342.0, among them there are those whose balance is suddenly lost, Some are hacked, etc.

And I've also experienced it myself, where I never felt logged in HitBTC but there was a login notification in my email, yes it sounds strange but from here I started to stop using it. There are still many out there better exchanges than him.
All of this, I have another alternative from Binance and HitBTC, which is Koinoin, you have to see and try it.

dont take a look only from one accident.but we have to look it from their services before accident and how their action to overcome this hacking case.i think binance reputation will devastated only caused of it.moreover they said customer balance safe and they will replace all.

I have not much experience with HitBTC exchange. But I have found that the exchange is amazing and its low transaction fee is another way of attracting traders. Instead, I prefer Coinbase and bittrex exchanges. Here my list of crypto exchanges goes like this, Binance, Bittrex, Coinbase and HitBTC. With regards to Binance exchange, the exchange is still in the heart of many traders even after being hacked.

Stick to binance. Binance is the best exchange for me. Is your funds safe when the hack happened? Did you lose any of it? If you didn't why do you need to change your exchange? Binance is a decentralized exchange with big volumes of coins that could lead to its very big pump. It offers a lot of IEO projects and the platform is still active.

I think you are just a judgemental user that riding with binance hacking issue you must know that the credibility of an Exchange is not measure in just a single lapses, after the hacking incident Binance is make more stronger and as we see it today they are handle it smoothly unlike other exchange the issue of of withdrawal delay, Blocking account missing deposit, and poor support and many too mention. but everyone has a right to choose just go with your path and goodluck i hope you can find a good one.

One of the factors here is the volume as you can trade up without any worries that the coins will be forgotten, and like what you have said, the hacked issue didn't have any negative impact with traders balance, they freeze the withdrawals for a while but when they've open it up again everything was been back to normal.

If you are familiar with Binance then, surely you'll stay and enjoy your quest for more successful trades to accomplish.,

there are lots of good exchanges besides Binance, but Hitbtc isn't one of them. I think this exchange is worse or even one that is bad. there have been a lot of negative responses about Hitbtc in the past, and I've also experienced problems there. although in the end the problem was finished, but since then I didn't use it anymore.

if you want to find an alternative for Binance, I suggest Okex, Huobi or Bittrex. the third exhange is good and has almost the same quality as Binance.

If I were you, I won't trade on HitBTC, it has a very high withdrawal fee, and they are likely never to attend to customers complain. Why will I go to HitBTC when Kucoin is there? Binance is still very healthy, they have been able to manage what befell them, not many exchanges would have come back this quick.

If you don't want to use Binance anymore, maybe you should have a look at kucoin, Bittrex or even Coinex (fast exchange, i appreciate it each time i use it).

I'm currently trading on Hitbtc and did not encounter any issue, except it falled under 'maintenance' status yesterday at the exact moment of btc pump  ::) I won't stay too long on this exchange since some users already got problems to perform some withdraw few months ago...

Right now I'm using Kucoin, Idax, Digifinex and BW.com and so far no issues and they don't have incident like hacking. I would like you to use Kucoin it such a good exchange.

I honestly think they learned a lot from the hack and believe that Binance is only going to get better. One of their third party firms Ciphertrace who does their aml compliance even agreed they took all the right steps to help fix the issue. Granted they did say that people should start consider using 3fa instead of 2fa which will be interesting for those who don't agree with KYC

Well I believe that binance have learnt from their mistake and will not want to try such at any point in time again because any other hack to its platform might spoil the reputation for life, this is why it is even best to leave you coin with them, though I have not experience the issue of delay in withdrawal but I believe it's one of the new security measure they implemented to make sir hackers don't send funds out of the system, so let's just hope for the best for them and keep using binance.

But your fund in Binance is not affected by the hacking. I still using binance exchange to buy or selling my coins and tokens.
I think as long as my fund is not hacked too, it is still good to using top exchanges.
Or if you don't want to use binance anymore, you may using kucoin exchange.

What has the delay in Withdrawer has to do with not using them again , you just said it got hacked and the seize if deposit and Withdrawer is expected to protect the exchange and non of your funds was missing and it only took them a week to rectify that .

I hope you know what to look out for when selecting exchange so you will not have your self blame at last and all same , its your choice to do away with them and find a better one but I will still advice to trend carefully so you will not have to blame yourself at last.

If you come here to say HitBTC, then I totally doubt the integrity of your post, and you are probably just trying to promote HitBTC, because virtually 70% of people knows how useless HitBTC is and those problems you mentioned about binance has absolute no element of truth in it.

I know they were hacked and they informed everyone generally about their intention to stop deposit and withdrawal in order to perform some necessary security functions, after which they released the platform exactly the date they gave, and since then, my transaction with them has been up and running smoothly. So I wonder why your own case will be different.

There's nothing wrong with Binance, but if you still decide that you're going to quit from it then there are lots of other exchanges. And you don't like Coinbase Pro, well, if you ask me,  Coinbase is really a trusted exchange and they don't even mess around like other exchanges would ,they are always careful with how they work and their site is one of the most secured exchanges around if not the most secured. They always care about users security at all times, so that's worth considering. The only thing I have seen people complain about Coinbase is their fees, but I don't even see anything wrong with the fees they charge , but everyone and their own opinion.

It doesn't really mean that if binance have gone through that rough days, it cannot get well back to its initial position before, if you are going to look at it, they are transparent, providing all the needed information for the public to see and understand. In that case, they are proven to be professional. Let us give them a good time to be reputable again.
I have no idea what op is even talking about as regards binance because binance has been doing fine ever since the attack, they have SAFU fund which they have already used to pay back the users that were affected, and activities has resumed normally.

I am still using the exchange for my trading and the volume they have now is still the same volume they had as usual. It mean op thinks Binance is one of these smaller exchanges that will be affected by mere $40m, the confidence users has built in them made them believe that they had it under control and there was no form of panic that would have left to big dumping of their coin, as we can also see that the coin has even appreciated the more since then.

First you should know that all centralized exchanges aren't safe no matter the exchange.
Secondly, what happened to Binance didn't make the exchange lose focus or go down with the services they offer.
Thirdly, even with what happened to Binance it is far better than Hitbtc (my opinion), have used both and Binance offers more user friendly interface.

Binance is still very good. They have traced the attack right before it can do large damage to the platform. Coinbase is also a decent cyptocurrency exchange. Every exchange is prone to hackers. There is always a chance of hacking, but what is important is to take the necessary precautions on the part of the traders.

If you want something decentralized, look for binance dex. I know you may seem concerned about the word binance but they have done a great job creating a nice looking decentralized exchanges where users keep their own funds unless the buyers and sellers matched by the platform. They are rapidly adding popular tokens at the moment.

Well is your choice. But what is the problem with coinbase? If you want you can try Kucoin, but anyway is your choice, i used on past Kucoin and Binance, and now i use coinbase more.

What is the advantage of using coinbase, rather than using binance or the others? just thinking what is the different between the two? but i think the best for me is using binance and the likes.
Maybe some advantages between then in some security features. But other than that, they were just the same in terms of trading. Both of them are good and was respected by some investors.

The US customers can make wire transfer to the Coinbase easily than mentioned exchanges. The requirements for upper limits are also low for verified customers on Coinbase. Binance is better to trade the altcoins after buying ETH and BTC from Coinbase. Buy BTC form Coinbase with wire transfer and send the BTC to the Binance for buying altcoin.

Nope don't go for HITBTC, there are a lot of scam reports about this exchange, the safest exchange I can think of is Kucoin, they never been hacked before and with their tight security, hackers will have a hard time, they also had excellent support and of course their main attraction their profit sharing.

This is your choice, Binance may hacked several times but user's funds were safe and Binance, Coinbase exchanges are everyone's favorite! However, as you want to ignore them so there have many other potential exchanges like Bittrex, Poloneix, Bitfinex or even Kucoin! You may try these exchanges but please avoid Hitbtce for your own good!

There is no central market that has good security because there are definitely gaps in it and when there is a market hacked we don't need to be afraid to enter the market especially high volume markets because if their markets are hit they are responsible for all events, they will improve the security system and security will improve better.

It actually Binance is turning back into their operation after such tragic hacking events that surprises everyone. All exchanges are can be a victim of hackers, even we knew how strong they are in terms of its security but there is no escaped form them.

@OP, you still doubts of Binace, you may try Bittrex or among the top 10 listed exchanges in the market. Hope you'll find the best.

Bittrex is very reliable and why I say so us because its registered in USA where they have strick financial rules. So they are restricted from doing certain shady business and can be sued to court if they default on anything.

binance, KUCOIN, bittrex, and several other exchanges I think have excellent quality. where all also have a risk to the security of their exchange. all security systems can be broken down by hackers. however, all exchanges provide security to traders, but we as traders must also maintain our own assets. don't save too many assets in exchange, use your personal wallet.

There are many exchange that you can choose from just to find the most comfortable for you to use.

You cannot compare both, HITBTC is not a top class exchange while Binance is the number 1, in terms of volume, there's a big difference. H
Hitbtc is not a scam exchange but I agree with you that the fee is extremely high that's how as much as possible, I stay away on the site.

but if you want to make sure a good the good one Binance, Coinbene, Idax, Kucoin, Houbi and Okex are the best I think now.

even a small exchange will be feasible for me, especially binance, their problem in hacking is indeed already a big risk of exchange for sure bad people will target it. all exchanges also have a risk of being hacked or maybe they get money then run away. so what needs to be done for now is not to save assets in a save exchange with a special wallet that is trusted or with a hardware wallet

Binance has gone too developed and popular for them to be destroyed or destabilized by just one threat. There is no centralized exchange that is not liable to be hacked, only DEX exchanges can, and it will really be unwise for one to judge Binance because of the little issue that has been resolved and taken care of to guide against future occurrences, and then go for another centralized exchange.

Binance still has more security than those other centralized exchanges,it is just so unfortunate that these hackers picked on Binance. With all the hacking, they still remain the strongest, there are so many exchanges that has been hacked and died off, but ever since the hacking Binance is even still growing stronger.

The only problem I see with Hitbtc is the high withdrawal fee, therefore it's not considered as the top exchange.
We have some decent exchanges here and we will know if they are really good based on the feedback that we can read, well, for Binance, I can say it's a good exchange, they have a lot of trading pairs and decent volume, so use it if all your needs are all in such exchange.

Livecoin and Okex, not much based on my experience, they are not the hottest right now they are below Binance, but still a legit exchange.

I do not think that there is any exchange that is not susceptible to being hacked or having such an issue, as long as you are not part of the programming team, you will only believe what you are told, personally I find more comfortable with older exchanges for now, like Bittrex and co. Bittrex is an old exchange, older than Binance in the business and they were able to retain their good reputation.
IIRC they haven't been hack yet, but the recent hack happen to Binance so regardless on how big or small you are trusting, they are all vulnerable to hacking.

No such thing as decent Centralized exchanges in crypto world. If Binance can be hacked any Centralized or semi Centralized exchange can also be hacked.  Even if you'll get compensated after hack it usually comes late.

Use decentralized exchanges instead. If you must use the Centralized ones don't deposit amount you can't afford to lose on them

Binance is a decent exchange, even the users funds has not affected after that hack.

It's your choice. Binance got hacked but that doesn't mean that people are quitting, there are still lots of people who are making use of their exchange and there are still lots of people looking for the opportunity to get in and start trading. The thing is that no exchange is 100% safe, even if there is, you should not trust any exchange. Just try to make use of more than one and don't store your money on them. Your money should be in your wallet except when you want to trade and you can deposit the money you want to trade and then start trading. One other thing you should know is that a good exchange will always try to pay back for any loss that occurred from their side.

No, I don't use hitBTC. I don't think it's good enough and good enough to attract many traders to invest there. There was a time I traded there with some of my tokens. One thing that annoys me is that I get 7k880 tokens and they only allow buy and sell with even numbers. For example, I only sell at 7k or 8k token.
so I lost 880 tokens and lost over $ 12 at that time. I have a very bad impression on this exchange, they deliberately misappropriate the property of the trader.

You are right, they going strong although the volume has really drop, but we shall see it increase as the bull run is here.
Security is very important but what attract traders are the trading volume, their daily is still less than $100 million, they need to increase that to attract more traders like the big once to use the website, it's their chance as Binance are temporarily gonna lose their US clients soon.

Considering yesterday's decision of FATF, which obliges all exchanges to identify their clients and their wallets within a year, I think that even binance will have to introduce a mandatory KYC for all users. In this case, those people who want to remain anonymous will have no choice but to use decentralized exchanges.

Well if you are talking about a decent exchange, you have to be specific what you want. If you are interested in trading on a very secure platform, I can tell you that no platform is 100% secure. You may be thinking Hitbtc is very secure but there is a wide gap in term of benefits that exist in trading on binance than the Hitbtc. I am not saying Hitbtc ain't a decent exchange, but they are still very far from Binance in term of rating. Unfortunately, binance witnessed attacks in the past and they are still very stable and doing great. If the same thing occurs to hitbtc, do you think they will recover back fast?

This was also said of Binance shortly before it got hacked and it seems these hackers hate when boasting, so better be careful on the way you boast about bittrex before they get hit LOL. Bittrex is a very good exchange and I agree with you that it still remain safe, but you should not completely keep in mind that they can never be hacked, don’t see it as a reason for you to continue to keep your fund on their wallet.

There is no exchange that cannot be hacked, I can bet with you that Binance security would have been more perfect than that of bittrex before they got hacked, but with that strong security, they were still got penetrated.

Although Binance was hacked I still use the exchange till date and there have been no issues whatsoever. Also from my experience Binance still stands as one of the most decent exchanges.
One thing you should know is this, no exchange is safe and to a greater length centralized exchanges, therefore to be safe don't store your asset in any.
Now talking about other decent exchanges, Kucoin, Coinall and Livecoin are good to go. Their user interface is okay and withdrawal is fast as well. As for Hitbtc, I won't encourage it; used it once and stopped.

very many exchanges are subject to hacker attacks
If you are looking for an exchange that has not yet been hacked

anyway in the future maybe it will be hacked

Binance and HITBTC are excellent exchanges and very decent. I always enable additional security such as Authenticator so it can't be in the plow. Security is crucial because it keeps the digital assets we store. When Binance happens hacking, I am not worried because my assets are still secure.

Have any of you ever used this exchange?
that's a funny decision to make. But I respect that. Binance is still doing great I may ask you to check on them again. There some other good exchange you can use. You can look around in the market to find them

You can check coinmarketcap dude to find out decent exchanges, actually you can freely choose the top 10 exchange at this site platform.
One of this are Binance, Okex, Huobi, Kucoin, Coinbene, and Bitfinex, these are the platform exchange were I knew it will give you a good profit in the end and you won't regret for sure. But of course, it is still your choice for me is just an opinion.

I think binance is still OK, I prefer trading in an exchange where I can still get compensated even after hack. Binance still have the volume, the ingenuity is still there. They are always the pioneer of better exchange ideas.
Just recently, bnb is now being compared to eth, it didn't just happen.

Check out Sparrow exchange! Interesting concept - they offer options trading rather than the typical spot exchanges. I think options and futures are the way to go in the market as traders learn more about the benefits of these trading tools~

Huobi and Kucoin looks decent and they are also emerging in the market. The interest of the traders are also being transferred to these exchanges, bittrex is still good as before.

If it is never heard more than likely the volume is still low. But I won't try an exchange that I have no idea of. The chance of losing your coins is very likely in this exchange. Just my thoughts though.  ;)

Even with Binance hack, the exchange is still waxing strong. I have been using Binance after the hack and have never experienced any form of delay in withdrawal etc. So in my own understanding or from experience, Binance still remains the most decent exchange. Nevertheless, if you want another decent exchange, check out Kucoin or Gate.

Binance has all of the good and popular coins in the market, so there is no reason to look for other exchange actually.
I also like Binance because big problem like hack looks nothing with them as they have already had some kind of measure that will still make them to continue to operate, the loss could be big with the SAFU funds but they know exchange even how big it is is vulnerable to hack, this kind of exchange just deserved our trust and it will continue to grow.

Yes, volume is likely to be low otherwise it has no volume. I haven't checked those exchanges as I've said so I don't know in which between they are with having low volume or no volume. And it's a good caution to not deposit a lot of amount or better not at all if you are in doubt of the exchanges being suggested to you.

I think I've heard that the bittex exchange was hacked in 2018, and some people suffered losses, so in my opinion not all exchanges will have high security, there must be holes for hackers.

Bittrex is really a reputable exchange as we all knew it, but we can't guarantee safety in terms of trading security. Most importantly if you're having trades with great exchanges they're likely susceptible on possible attacks from hackers, so always activate your 2fa authenticator before making any transactions with exchanges.

while choosing exchanges please dont look at it based on trading security only.we have to see did its exchanges have back up fund if they hacked in huge amount.again and again , binance give us example about back up amount.they have SAFU that will recovery hacked money to their customer.so customer feel comfort using bnb services.

I agree, even though binance is hacked 7000 bitcoin, but binance covers all losses and guarantees investor funds. I think besides security, choosing an exchanger also from his reputation in the market and I think binance is one of the best reputation exchangers
A big exchange site will have a lot of income and this will increase the liquidity of the company to give insurance if there will be a hacked case. any other major platform must do the same as what binance did. that 's why major always give us more guarantee rather than a small one.

Binance is the best exchange in the world, talking about Binance was hacked, believe that there is no safe system, but please note, binance has provided good servants so far, and based on Coinmarketcap Binance has been ranked number 1 in the world, if compared to HitBTC it is certainly binance more seeded.

All the exchanges I think are very decent and like Binance has a very large volume. So to generate profit in Binance Exchange can be very fast. Just that we have to be careful about security. Hacking is a very big problem and we have to be vigilant.

What's the total volume of this exchange? it's not listed in coinmarketcap yet.

we are  surprised to read this, maybe you are not aware of the fact that every exchange is hackable and what matters mist is the security of funds after such incident. Binance provides an insurance cover, I hope your new exchange has that

It's one of the reason why they are still the top crypto exchange now despite of the hacking issue. They make sure their users won't suffer from a loss. Other exchange can't do that so they lose reputation until in the long run they close their business. I think binance was the first to do that so far.

Other exchanges were hack also but because they are a big exchanges, they can still continue to operate like Binance.
However, Binance is different as they have the initiative to build a SAFU funds which I don't hear from other exchanges announcing the same.

Exchanges are all vulnerable so I hope there will be an insurance that will cater this and take the risk.

I want to suggest bitterx and hitBTC although there are many good exchanges that offer good service. I have used both of the exchanges. Both of them have one of the good features, fast transaction. Their transaction cost is relatively low. As far as hacking, any one exchange can become subject to the attack of hackers. So we must unite against hackers.

No other decent exchange below the top ten exchange especially the top three and the top one binance and obviously if the projects will list the tokens in that exchange for sure the project will be gaining a lot of investment because the investors will know that they will earn and make profits the their investments.

If you have little-known coins, it is not a fact that they are traded on the TOP exchanges. Sometimes you have to choose a exchange where there are coins you need to exchange.

Title: Re: Any Decent Exchanges?

Finding a decent exchange for the crypto is very crucial but looking at the nature of the crypto coin we can't say that every exchange is top most secure. But the top level exchanges always kin to their client and oblige them. So, after hacking of the coin the return back the losses. But sometimes it is not be possible. So, always choose an exchange which is providing almost all the security features and not in the top level. Some of these are Bittrex, Kucoin, HitBtc etc. Here the hackers are limited eyes. So, keep your coin here but for trading only not for the longer period.

Binance were not able to recover the stolen coins, they were only priveleged to have a reserve from which they were able to use to cover the loss. It is of a worthy note that they claim to have improved their security, but one would have thought they were the most secured before the hack happened.

Everyday new exchanges are created and you can´t choose one? Are you afraid of your security? Then choose some DEX. For example eFin (created by Litecoin and Tokenpay ecosystem) looks very good!
