Anyway, this seems very interesting idea and I think you can do it in your Loyce.club domain. You won't need to buy domains every time or worried about to renew them after a year.

That's funny--I just watched a documentary about the LHC and the search for the Higgs particle, and it was fascinating.  Sadly, around these parts people are far more interested in whether Lauda is on DT or not.  The latter is also a question whose answer can get toggled back and forth depending on the whims of DT1 members, and I wouldn't go so far as to say it's not useful information.

Where's Lauda been lately, anyway?  I haven't seen the grumpy old cat around in a while, but it could be that I'm just missing his/her posts.

Did I miss this or something?  Theymos blacklisted Lauda from what, DT1?  I do remember the PM Theymos sent out to a bunch of DT1 members, but I don't recall that anything came of it.

Correct. They just make a messy list in my hosting, each domain also adds a subdomain (https://islaudastillondt.tk.loyce.club/).

I haven't really checked, I might be able to extend it for free, or someone may be able to buy the domain right under my nose. None of that really matters, it wasn't meant to be serious, and if it keeps running for a year that's long enough.

That would make it just part of my normal data (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5139250.0). A dedicated domain looks way cooler.

I'll make you a deal: you can buy any domain you want, set it's DNS to loyce.club's IP address (107.173.194.194), and I'll add it to my script. It may take a bit longer though, as I need to add DT1-tracking for this.

LOL this. I don't think anyone needs this site. I imagine the world destroyed by the Large Hadron Collider would only take 5 seconds at the most, I think. Just when you're browsing Bitcointalk and then boom - a white flash of light and everything vaporizes immediately, no time to react.

I think Lauda made the best decision possible and left all the drama in meta, reputation, and scam boards. This approach works and actually, there are almost no threads with Lauda username in the topic line.

From some time Lauda was posting regularly in technical and altcoins discussion but I see in the last days a comeback and couple of posts in scam and reputation boards again  8).
Watch out haters Lauda is going to get you anyway, sooner or later  ;D ;D ;D.

I can spin something up if you need something to play with. You do enough good work on the forum that some CPU cycles on one of the boxes and drive space is not a big deal.

Interesting offer :) I currently have about 2 days per week with high CPU consumption on my old i3 (1 core is enough), the rest of the week doesn't need much (but continuous uptime is required).

Running Linux? :D It's IP can't be shared with BPIP though, we'd instantly get rate limited on the scraping.

I didn't plan for more than 1 domain, but .TK domains are free, and it just looks nicer to have a dedicated domain for basically just joking around :)

That goes against the idea/wish/recommendation for all users to create a custom Trust list.

Thanks to lauda, tman and foxpup i got banned because a death threat towards a scammer. They all three tagged me near the same time with the same pretext so they surely work togheter.

Could u inform me a bit about the Lauda thing as he's being throwing out scam accusations in another topic with his police buddies "suchmoon, owlcatz and mosprognoz", all being DT2 members afaik and some come back in this topic. Are these accounts being abused by other people than the legit owners of it? Are they already blacklisted for being obvious trolls? What's the reason for this topic and the blacklisting of Lauda, and what about the other members I mentioned? Now that I look at it, my bet might have been pretty dangerous.. Quite the formidable opponent I have found myself at odds with over the years...

I don't understand why all these people trust lauda but I am not capable of understanding all of the universe..

I add Mrs. Lauda to my trust list a long time ago, not sure when I did it, but I remember my rank is Jr Member at that time.
I'm trusting her because she helped me with some of her posts.
My crypto-skill is improving because of her posts
I can survive in this forum because of her post
And I knowing better about the forum because of her. (drama, politics, trust, how to judge, and when to claim about something)

My trust for her is just like a student for his teacher, I must trust what they teach to me, but I do not always believe in my teacher's actions.
As we know, the teacher will teach the good things to their students, but their actions sometime not must believe as good things.

tl;dr
I'm trusting Lauda as a teacher for me, but I'm not always supporting every action/reaction of her, b'cause I've my own judgment.
She will stay at my trust list, even if I'm not DT anymore. (but I will remove if she sold her account or do something stupids)

I really see no members that are even semi credible on there except a tiny few. Even they must be considered complicit now that so much evidence of his undeniable scamming and trust abuse has been presented.

Shame he wimped out of his bullying threats. Anyone standing up to him will see the same happens, runs away or back peddles.

He will be removed from DT fully with his complicit bunch of scammer supporters like pharmacist in the future. There is no place on trust positions for such scumbags. Once they are off and the gang is crushed finally and fully. They are never going to forget their pasts here. You don't get to scam or support and excuse scammers continuously,  then come back later and all if forgotten. Some things are beyond forgiveness. It is not for people to forgive undeniable financially high risk behaviors and undeniable scamming, you don't get to choose if you take risks with other members security here.

Theymos updated DT1, Lauda jumped from 1 to 11 inclusions on DT2. So I'm bumping this :)

26 DT1 members were replaced this month.  I don't know if that's a normal amount, it seems a bit high to me.  Theymos mentioned that 124 members qualified for DT1 votes, which is higher than I remember from previous months, so that may be the reason.

With 21% Dutch sales tax (apparently the Dutch government manages to collect that anywhere on the planet) it's EUR 9.95 per year. But they don't accept Bitcoin, only CC (4% surcharge), bank transfer or Paypal (another 4% surcharge).

But chasing the highest resolution with a monolithic background image is not the right approach IMO. The image should be cut up and the pieces laid out in HTML (table, floating divs, etc) with an appropriate background color. That way it would scale nicely.

It's like the other thread talking about how many users have been on DT1 since day one.  Statistically it's not possible and points to manipulation.

That's not a bad idea, but I've adjusted it a bit: I've added a Changelog. All times are Amsterdam time. It only adds a line when something changes, this should also work when you move from DT1 to DT2.

Since it's updated every 20 minutes, my guess is someone on DT1 moved from excluding to including Lauda. Don't forget when you tested mine it went from ten to twelve when you went from trust to distrust then back to eleven with neutral.

Am just looking at them now. Perhaps as a suggestion - when the change of DT occurrs once a month, that date is shown in a different colour (white?) to signify it's not a change in views, just the monthly soft shoe shuffle.

Wrong. They do, at least for determining who's in DT1. Being excluded from DT1 means your trust ratings aren't visible by default and your trust list doesn't determine who's in DT2, but your trust list does determine who is/isn't in DT1 as normal.

If you'd be on DT2, the difference could be changed because I use https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;dtview for DT1 inclusions/exclusions and https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust for DT2. The former is updated real-time, while I think the latter has a delay (although I'm not sure, some Trust changes  are real-time, others are cached for a while by the forum).

However:
Foxpup is correct! If you'd be on DT2, Foxpup's exclusion would matter depending on Foxpup being on DT1 or not. But you're on DT1, and inclusions or exclusions from users with net-exclusions on DT1 still count.

This leads to the following (probably unintentional) possibility:

It looks like the system treats includes 0 and excludes 0 differently, and sticks with the current status (YES or NO) when it hits 0.  I bet if Lauda were to go UP 1 and then DOWN 1, Lauda would then show as 0 inclusions.

That's a fair opinion, hence me suggesting it stays, to see what other users thought. To me, this is public data (taken from DT1 changes log (https://bpip.org/r/dt1changes.aspx) right, more or less?) Therefore, I'd argue anyone is welcome to "re-format" this publicly accessible data and present as they please. Similar to how LoyceV is welcome to remove/keep it based on Timelord's wishes if he pleases, regardless of other users desire for it to remain. Kind of like when I did your trust statistics, no permission required for use of publicly accessible data.

It is public data, data that most users will not be able to find or properly assess on their own. The website is not public data, it is targeted surveillance (be it for a joke or whatever else). I think it would be most fair for OP to shut down if a user requests it. On that note, I will not request mine to be taken down I like it.  ;D

Yes BPIP is effectively a surveillance as you put it, but I don't believe it should be shut down because of that. It usefully surveils the judgement of those who are default trust (in a position of power, as well as others), as opposed to surveillance state traditionally surveilling a large number of the population somewhat indiscriminately.

It stopped working, which broke my Trust Flag Viewer (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5153695.0) too.
The cookie is still valid, so I'm not sure what changed.

That's not true, if Lauda would be on DT1, Lauda would be excluded. Lauda has 20 inclusions and 28 exclusions from DT1, but because 8 of those DT1-members have more exclusions than inclusions from other DT1-members, their vote for DT2 doesn't count. However, since their vote for DT1 still counts, it means Lauda wouldn't be on DT if (s)he'd be on DT1.
In short:
Lauda on DT2: strength (0)
Lauda on DT1: strength (-8)

I count 18 DT1 inclusions and 11 DT1 exclusions. That makes DT2 (7) and is correct.
Lauda also hasx 9 DT1 (-x) inclusions, but since those users are excluded from DT1, they don't get to vote for DT2. They can only vote for other DT1 members.

When comparing Trust inclusions, most of the users who included TradeFortress haven't been online in years:

I agree the decentralized Trust system isn't perfect, and I'm pretty sure theymos would agree, but so far no better system has been proposed.

Some people suggest reviewing after a certain period of time, why not after 2 years (or even four or five years) negatives fade to neutral?  (especially if the user is inactive) Those that are truly burned up will count down the milliseconds to renewing their distrust or negative trust feedback, however most will live and let live.

Also, why not once a person has given negative trust feedback they can neither add more negative, neutral or even positive unless they first remove (or change to neutral) their trust feedback?

Having radio buttons on the trust feed back page to deselect one or even two of the types (Neutral, negative, posative) might help people search through old feedback's (or even sort positive to negative (or visa-versa))

Type 2 and 3 Flags expire, I see no reason to make my feedback expire too.

There's already a limit (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5104563.msg49549028#msg49549028) in place: you can't leave more than 5 tags on a user.
I can think of reasons why someone doesn't want to remove a tag that was placed on a certain date, it's serves as a timeline of events.

I *did* have six on a couple of users' trust feedback pages and have dialed them down to just one or two as part of an overall review of my previous work (which is a work in progress)

Trust list management is non-public data. LoyceV makes all "distrustings" are public, which is non-public by default. This is must be personal, but nobody fixes that.

Go into your Trust settings (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust), add to your trust list the name of anyone who's trust list you want to see, then click Hierarchical view (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;full) to see their trust list. If you think this information is not supposed to be public, please inform theymos at once about this gaping data leak. (Don't forget to also tell him to stop his weekly publishing of everyone's trust lists in a giant compressed text file (https://bitcointalk.org/trust.txt.xz), which is what LoyceV is actually using, but that's not as bad since the information is less up-to-date.)

I just had a look at just about every "Is..." that I could find.  On the 26th of September practically all pages dropped their values to zero (it's more striking for those with green scores).  One or two (such as for Vod) drop to zero every few months.  I somehow don't imagine it's because of transitioning to DT 2 from DT 1.

It happens once in a while, probably caused by a connection error when it can't reach Bitcointalk. Once in a while I manually remove it, and I thought I fixed it last time, but clearly it didn't work.

Well, this ended :( Dot.tk marked (only) this domain as FRAUD. It doesn't make sense (https://my.freenom.com/knowledgebase.php?action=displayarticle&id=20), but since I only made this for fun, I won't bother asking them why.

My .tk domain names (at dot.tk) have been expiring, and I didn't receive an extention email. Some are still working, some are gone. I'll stop using them.

You always can use your domain loyce.club for this purpose. Just add a subdomain, for example, "isTheymosStillOnDt.loyce.club". so everything will be under your control ^{fully centralised  ;)} and you don't need to worry about a domain renewal.
In this case, the purpose of these .tk domains is more for fun, so I don't think it matters if it's a slightly longer extension.

I've used subdomains before, but a subdirectory is much easier to add than a subdomain. It's also a lot easier than adding another domain name, so I don't mind. This whole topic started as a joke 2 years ago anyway.

I've used the ;dt suffix while viewing my trust feedback (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=131361;dt) and can see Lauda's negative trust feedback, however, on your "IS" page (https://loyce.club/Is...StillOnDT/Lauda.html) they are showing as being DT2 in the negative by six, yet on your other page (https://loyce.club/trust/2022-08-06_Sat_08.09h/101872.html) it looks like the are in the positive by one (unless I've miscounted??)

I don't reference the IS pages very often, but I find they are interesting to show ebs and flows in users' overall trust at the monthly changeover.

Some people wiped their Trust list, so there could be small recent changes. BPIP (https://bpip.org/Profile?p=Lauda) currently puts Lauda at DT2 (strength 3), which seems to be correct.
I found the bug: by checking only the username, I counted Laudanum's DT2-exclusions (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2810185) instead of Lauda (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=101872)'s inclusions. It's working again.

I'm not sure how long the wrong data was shown, so I've added a warning that the data was incorrect.
