With the development of the economy, BTC is now gaining more and more attention, and it is not disappointed by the people who chose it. Most of the new cryptocurrencies nowadays are a bunch of crap, I see a lot trying to launch a coin with a high price, BTC took years to grow the price and some projects want to start with a good price in weeks, almost all fails and devs run away.

I'm buying little amount of some crypto that does have some new or unique consensuses. In case maybe one of it becomes great. I like kadena, zilliqa, solana, radix, perl and harmony

You need to ask your friend details about that project. Ask him to show good features of that project and prove why you should invest in it. You also need to make research yourself about that project, to check if you friend was lying. After that, if you feel that project is good, you can invest in it.

It is important that a good project or not, if it is a bad project you should not buy. I advise you never to trust your friends. When they introduce any coin or project to you, you also need to analyze carefully before investing. Check the roadmap of that project or coin, if it has a reasonable system and a good team, it's a project worth investing in.

The price in 2013 averages around 30 - 100 USD. Let's just say 100 USD. So if you had 100 BTC, you invested around $10000. And when you sold it in 2017, depending on the month, I would say the estimate around November, where it's priced around USD 8000 per BTC. You would have totaled $800,000. If you have that kind amount of money, you wouldn't need to ask about investments in general. You could just buy what you want and invest $10000 like what you did.  

This is not a recommendation to buy whatever coin that is being shilled to you, it's just common sense. You have a lot of money, and you could invest in anything that you want. Just make sure it's a worthy coin and not some random shitcoin.

Depends on how much you trust your friend. For bitcoin it is a no-brainer that one should always buy bitcoin at low and hold it till it reaches new highs to sell.

Just for reminder, suggestion or recommendation from someone is not always 100% true. Everyone can makes mistake, even he is a great analysis or trusted friends. You shouldn't always following his suggestion if you think the project is not good, just choose what you think is right. A lot of new cryptocurrencies nowadays are just a scam project. The important thing that you have to remember is that every time you are about to buy any coin. You need to check their project plan before investing your money. It is worthy to invest in a new potential project. However, it would be a waste of money if you invest in a scam one.

Exactly, I always go with some genuine alts which means I prefer investing in top 25 coins in the CMC list like TRON, Stellar, DASH etc. I do not want to take risk in new projects and don't want to lose my hard-earned money as most of them suppose to be scammers. To be honest most of the new crypto projects are scam now, So obvious these you will not agree to buy the scam crypto projects. Again you can find some new tokens but legit, such as they have pure team members, They have a clear and unique whitepaper, clear roadmap, also they are investing from their own pocket to marketing the project, this type of project is worth to invest.

New coins are high risk investment, you need to be sure that the project is capable, by start doing research on the team and their plans about the project, you need to ask questions, yes, if a project is bad or have bad plans they will avoid questions

if they can market thier project using the money from thier own pockets then that means they dont need to crowdfund or do an ico so how can you be able to find them ?  but i forgot that they still have thier token that will be listed on the exchange later on .

Feasible and improper depends on the new crypto project. If investors see that the new project has an opportunity, then it is not wrong to contribute or invest in new crypto. If we look at it in general, this new project is now mostly a scam and a scam. so it is difficult to find projects that can truly turn a profit.

Its a dream for so many even to think of $1 million of investment and owning the btc is just the best things to do if you own such money. Ideally keep investing in the dips and sell on the high in short term time so that you can make some money occasional as well. You can't compare BTC to most altcoins. Most altcoins which are ERC 20 are just created for trading and profit purpose, no usecase.

He should simply ask his friend why he suggested that coin in specific. If someone suggested you to invest in bitcoin earlier in 2013 then this doesn't mean he is a good analyser or you should always follow him. Investing new coin/s isn't that bad if we could see its huge potential in the market but if we can't see anything, I can see the losing ends. The risk of acquiring new coin is high-risk unlike those who are existed already it is because they don't have such market performance that we can see and evaluate.
But for me, I'm sticking into Bitcoin and putting some funds into potential and promising altcoins. Usually, new coins get ignored unless they prove that they are worthy of trust and a gaining market.

If the new cryptocurrency isn't the bitcoin we'll know I would have say no. Bitcoin is the original cryptocurrency which when invest wisely you're rest assure to get back your investment on a long-term. I think it depends on what new coins are bought because not all new coins are profitable. There are new coins that are not good because when they are listed at a high exchange rate, but when they start trading open to the public the price falls and there is no support from the developer.

The Crypto space is becoming more dangerous for investment because dips now happen on regular days and weeks, there by becomes a common thing or usual thing. The new Cryptos are worth buying only if you buy wisely and in a speedy row. Cryptos pump and dump, those that bought it when it's dumping are definitely going to loss and those that bought it when pumping, the ones that enter the position late due to FOMO will also lose. For me, I'm Stick to top influencers in the space like CZ, and Elon Musk that have several quotes on these altcoins.

that's true there required some analyzation before investing in these newer project since they have bigger chance of losing their value sooner than the already existing alts that's already famous like ETH and BNB.
