Some dishonest people in the market come up with some such projects.
Although their project currently has value, their project has no value in the mountains, they distribute some tokens and these tokens are really priceless.
I got some tokens about 4 months ago which are not listed on any exchange yet.
I have about 2-3 types of tokens like this.

Those who have worked with Altcoin or have been involved with Altcoin for a long time. I would like to know from them that the team members of the project are benefiting from the fact that the token they are distributing is not listed in the token exchange.
And the token that I got could one day be listed on the exchange.

I'm sure you are really new in the market, because that has been the case after the bull run. Maybe projects have been pop in 2018 that up to know are not listed on an exchange, or they get listed but on some shady and crappy exchanges. And then there's the case of tokens being listed, but right after, a dump followed, losing it's value and hasn't recovered ever since.


No one can answer that, bounty hunting is a boom or bust cycle as well. There are scam projects 90% and the rest of the true and legitimate projects just died down because of the bear market.

There are over hundreds or even thousands of worthless coins out there that had been created for profit, with no service or final product. This had been going on even before the last bull market. My wallet even has more than 20 coins, some people might have more than that in their wallet from airdrop, bounties, investment, just name it.

Just don't blindly invest or put your money on such a project. That is why due diligence or doing your homework before getting involved in a project is a must for you not to lose money and for them not to benefit from their scheme.

Just like my wallet a lots of token with no value that came from AirDrop. Over these years a lesson learn to all that before joining a project or an AirDrop we must do some research. Some projects are legitimate they could able to list in the popular exchange and some are fraud no improvement at all. So our effort is really useful in assessing first the project before investing or joining.

Your statement thoughts are contradicting itself although I get your point why you are disappointed about worthless token. But you should re-evaluate yourself too because you committed mistakes by buying/getting worthless token. Can you give me the reason why you bought/get them? Is it from bounty campaign because you can avoid being in possession of that garbage if you do research first before you acquire that worthless token.

It is given that many scam coin is currently circulating out there because its easy to create ERC20 token or other type of token using smart contract. Complaining how you end up in your current situation will not change anything. Move on and improve!

I think what you need to do is to be watchful of the kind of tokens you buy or get as a reward. Not all tokens will get listed on an exchange. There is time that some dev and team just want to test their idea on blockchain and they just need people to do that, after that they drop the project.

If I were you I will not put all of my hope on those sh*tty coins you hold because if they really had a bright future in the first place then those will not get stagnant in your wallet, isn't it? ICOs are not the same as couple of years back (especially during the bull run last 2017), they are all just deceiving the investors. Actually, what happens right now is purely battle of marketing strategy. A particular project boosts, whether proven scam or not, as long as the team are good in persuading. So be careful on picking your own poison ;). Or better for you to stop for the moment and wait for the next bull run hoping good projects will come.

i totally agree, you should ALWAYS check the team, check the project details and most important is to check the team or company's past projects, do they abandon old ideas fast? do they have like long time support for couple of projects/service

no matter how small or big this is, but the history thing is really important, some very rare times team will be their first succeding project, but would you really afford to invest in such small opportunities, most of us can't so better take lower risks with old teams, because big risks here means losing 100% of capital

Some tokens can be listed on exchanges even after a year of their sale because they are developing the project before releasing it to the public.But most of the projects will never get listed by the way which are shit or scam or you can call it with any name.It happens in the crypto market and its a loss if you spend time to promote those project and received it as bounty rewards but remember how an investor will feel if they spend their money to invest on such projects.

There are few projects like that and this doesn't mean they are dead or abandoned, just hold them and put your focus on something else, there are more than two projects like that on my private wallet, like 10 different coins so relax

Believe me, in time you will have more than two worthless tokens or coins in your wallet, as a bounty hunter or a airdrop hunter this will surely happen, some projects will be dead even before launch and very few will worth something

Most probably you came across some scam project and got their tokens. The projects members just get whatever money they can from running the ico and run away with it. Some even list them.om DEX and and dump their team tokens as well.

There are still tons of projects that are not listed on any market and most of them were scam projects. I still have so many tokens on my ether wallet which has absolutely 0 value. I think it's just better to forget about those tokens and learn from the mistakes.

The team already made money from ICO and investors ended up with worthless tokens.

I have been in this arena for 4 to 5 years actively and believe me i have dozens of such tokens which have uncertain future, some have already failed or closed or scammed whatever you can call them but the fact is with in this industry you will find wrong projects and you invest similarly you find a wrong campaign and you promote resulting in piling up of useless tokens over the years. I just wish there would be some service one day that will accept these tokens for cookies or drink lol.

It's not your fault that you have gotten such coins in your pot. I have invested in more than 15-16 altcoins and out of them 50% were scam projects, had zero value and I have lost any faith in them.

Usually I never invest into them but back in time the world of altcoin was in boom. You had real projects, with real value, and those tokens are now in Top 50.

Whatever altcoin is produced these days is made with one intention - SCAM!

Be aware of this fact and don't fall for it easily.

You only had 2 to 3 some got hundreds of tokens on wallet without any value at all. If you joined a lot of airdropa before then your wallet is swarming with useless tokens. I have too, so but I dont want my wallet with display tokens so I just create new wallet address and forgor my old wallet. But I always checked if there are tokens become valuable. Usually you can find some tokens suddenly rise and been listed on market.

Joining legit one should be your priority from now on. These scam tokens will never end and unfortunately some of them are still doing the same over and over again.

In my wallet there are hundreds of useless tokens and they have never been listed at any exchange. So you don't have to be surprised, there are lots of failed projects and scams in this market. And you need to get used to it to avoid being disappointed

I am sure other people will have many tokens too in their wallet, including the investors. They are waiting for the token listed on the market for a long time ago, but many of those projects cannot continue their plans as the market is not going better. But we can hope that this time, with the market trying to rise, that good token can list on the market, so you and other people can sell your tokens. If that can happens, I think there will be a pump and dump for that token because people will see that the volume can up and down, and they will think that they can make a profit from that.

Yes, I agree that the team make money from their project, but it is sad for the investors. I hope that everything will be better, and you can select a good project so that you can make a profit again.

As a bounty hunter you will have many more worthless tokens in your wallet, you can't avoid or escape this, not all projects you promote or will promote will become successful

I would not be surprise about that, a lot of bad projects now are still doing some crowd funding but in reality they will just scam investors.
You will get not a priceless but a worthless tokens, that's the right term... just be patient and learn from that mistake, accept it and move on and wait until the market will recover as eventually bounty hunting is going to be a attractive again.

There is nothing you can do with those useless tokens, it's better to leave them be in your wallet, there is slight chance of bouncing back to life later but don't rely on them, just leave them in your wallet and move on

Have you asked the team about that? If the token was not getting listed on the exchange site and the team member will get nothing from there, i should remind you that they will be benefiting from such crap token when they have raised money before through the crowdsale.

Sorry to say, some projects will become useless while you grab their tokens, be more careful when selecting new projects or joining bounty campaigns next time or you will end up with too many useless tokens

You are not the only one, mate. I had so many coins that are useless and has no value at all. They are just stored in my erc20 wallet. I have participated in some lame projects before, even that of thousands token rewards is a trash. What do we gain from joining projects before? None.

And that is why I don't usually just join in a project now. In fact, spotting scam and useless projects is what I am doing. Let's face the truth, potential projects is hard to find now. Most of them were just created for fund raised and doesn't even contribute any significant use in the crypto market that leads to useless coin at the end.

You know what dude, I have a lots of coins in my  wallet in terms of crypto. In fact, most of them already a years now I think 1 or more years and yet until now no exchange listing updates and some already forgotten, but some even more than 1 year of waiting still gave an updates and the token got listed at the price value that we didn't expect that was high in the first place. Meaning, not all tokens are priceless as long as their telegram channels are active inn giving updates it means there is still a chance to be list in the exchange.

This is the problem once the project ends and they distribute the token it is not yet listed. Not a surprise to the hunters who joined the project. Mostly those who become a victim of this project no exchange and no value. Just a shit token in your wallet, just a display. So we cannot do anything leave as is.

There is, high probability that you got shitcoins from airdrop am I right? If you participated in many airdrops in the past, so many tokens will be in your wallet which are worthless, but who knows 🤔 someday few might worth something. Some team members only become active when the market start booming, in a bit to sell off their shitcoins.

Looks like BT aint for me either. Eventually the token that distributes to us shows that there is no value in the latter. No one like me should be involved in a scam project, don't be deceived, I would suggest everyone to avoid the scam project. Everyone will be careful and invest in any project

What scam projects aspire for is to raise investor money and then run away with their money, but scam projects have no goals and aspirations other than this and most exchange platforms accept high fees and scam projects are not in their interest to benefit the crypto community, Scam projects deceive people to promote their project through AirDrop or the Bounty campaign and then steal investor money, In the end, they send shitcoins to people that have no value.

I have a bagful of worthless tokens that have accumulated from many airdrops and bounty campaigns I joined when I was still new in crypto. Got most of them during the last bull market. During those times, it seems that whatever ICOs being launch, it seems they become hyped and profitable. But after the market bubble, those projects just disappeared and I was left with many valueless cryptos.

Your lucky you have that tokens just four months ago I have many shit tokens on my wallet .no exchange and it doesn't have any value, and I have that in my wallet for more than 2 years  now ,. I don't know what to do in that tokens I can't even transfer it to other wallet since it will ask for fees and I don't want to waste any single ETH just for transferring it so I decided to stay it there.

Don't count on tokens that come from airdrops or bounty. If they don't have any value after 1-4 months, I believe the project is dead and not worth anything. I have over 200 bullshit altcoins in my wallet because I've been involved in a lot of airdrops and bounty, but only a few of them are valuable and can be sold at exchanges.

I have also a lot of shitcoins in my mew and for me it is the reason why I stopped in participating in bounty campaigns and airdrops because it is a waste of time and effort. Most of the work that I did before came to waste because of the shitcoins that they paid to me. I'm sure that I am not the only one who have bad of shitcoins. I do not know what will I do to my shitcoins and I just letting it stay to my wallet even though all of them doesn't have value anymore.

Joining bounty campaigns aren't always fun, most times things goes bad and you are left with useless tokens or coins in your wallet, be expecting many more as a bounty hunter, keep gathering them, I've seen worthless tokens coming back to life too

that's why before we join in promoting a project or investing in it, at least we should be able to do research first and see the team that is in it. good and potential projects will surely work optimally so that the token that is launched will have a high value and attract many investors so that it can enter the exchange market

Exactly, having priceless token is inevitable especially if you are a bounty hunter. There might have been a time when you would have or will be involved in campaigns that the token you get at the end of the campaign will not be listed on exchanges. And one of the ways to minimise this, is to do proper research about every campaign one will be involved in

Worthless tokens can't be avoided, every crypto investors have bad tokens in their wallet so it's unavoidable, moreover you are a bounty hunter, don't think that all new projects you promote will be successful

For me, everything go backwards, I have participated in many well-priced bounty and are listed in the exchanges. But after receiving the token, the price collapsed many times and there was no liquidity. Really disappointing with the bounty this year

There are many crap projects that have been introduced since late 2017 and counting until now,It's pretty normal today btw  ::) It's hard to avoid that kind of projects. Research can help you a lot in avoiding this kind of project. I also have a bunch of non-tradable tokens because they don't have any exchange, I've collected it when I am a bounty hunter and a active airdrop participant before and I know it's really frustrating that you can't trade it for some profit but it's the reality now. Still, there are some good projects around there, All you need is to make research and analysis.

I wasn't a Bounty Hunter when I had over 20 worthless tokens in my wallet  :D, I earned them through Airdrops, I'm certain that you can't stop this from happening, every people that get involved with crypto will have useless coins in wallet

There are many of these tokens which I have also got since the time when ICO craze ended. I regret not selling some of them but some are just not even listed to any market. The team was once updating the community of what is happenings weekly but gradually died. Now that prices of altcoins are growing which its actually time to be more active, they are gone.

With so many new projects being offered from time to time, bounty hunters ending up nothing, receiving coins that value
less and most of the time isn't been listed to any exchange, it will be stuck inside your wallet and you'll keep on reminded how wasted your time participating with the project, time to move forward and make it more strict

How can you really determine the value of a project if it is not listed on exchange? It is easy for a project to perfectly describe what they will develop on whitepaper but when they get listed another version of them will be seen, a version that thinks only of their pockets. Thus, I can say the value of a project can be determined when it has been listed on exchanges, trades for a while, while the team keeps maintaining their development roadmap and the token price itself keeping a good range.
Yes, they also benefit from not listing because listing of a token have a price so by not listing their token on any exchange means the money set aside for listing will be enjoyed by them.

so, as a bounty hunters the OP should know, how to choose the right campaign before decided to join and ready for all the risk, wich mean sometimes the token will not listed on any exchange in long period time

Mostly all the worthless token's I have gotten, is from airdrop. The last thing I can ever do again is doing airdrop. Airdrop will promise $10-$15 for carrying out a simple task but after after distribution, you'll be having $0.04 at the end. Its very appalling

Did you get the tokens free ? If you received the tokens without cost / free, it will be hard to expect something from that kind of tokens. Let the token stay in your wallet because you never know what will happening later. Sometimes there are scam tokens like that, they lock the token in your address and ask you to send your money to unlock and be able to transfer your token.

It really is. Here in crypto there are a lot of "temptations", if we can call it that, and opportunities to get quick money - airdrops, bounties. All this contributes to the accumulation of various coins and they don't always turn out to be useful and valuable.

In a decentralized space, giving freedom to every participants; it is hard to use the word dishonest especially when it involves trading and investment. Every developer to the best of their knowledge introduce projects; either good or bad projects; they are embraced or refused by individuals who are investors; blaming does not work during investment. That is one reason why every whitepaper has it written that the document is not an investment advice; you are left to dyor and make an investment choice.

If you don't participate in airdrop and bounty, I believe you will never get useless tokens. And if you are an investor, just buying the top altcoins in this market is enough, they are good projects and will have high value in the future.

For those of us who have been in the cryptocurrency space for years and one time participants of airdrops, having two tokens without a price is nothing at all. Some persons have thousands of worthless tokens in their wallets. I even read a thread where the creator was asking how he could dispose several tokens in his wallet as they don't worth anything and gas has a price.

investors gets useless tokens from the projects that they invest even if they didnt join bounty and airdrop but because they payed for the coins  .

thier case is more brutal than us but i never see an investor whine about thier loss on this forum , only hunters  .  if i were they ill also do the right thing and that is to choose listed coin only but thats them , it maybe that they are not contented on thier current  loss and wants more extreme experience   .

Yes, there are tons of countless priceless tokens and most of them are shitcoins just to be exact. This the risk of participating bounties and doing hard work for how many of weeks and being paid with worthless tokens in the end and worst at all not getting paid and turned out to a scam project. It's just a matter of luck you find a good projects that really gave a real rewards in the end of all the hard works especially tokens will be listed soon enough in the exchanges.

My point is priceless tokens are like trashes here already especially in bounties section. Priceless tokens is everywhere and there is nothing you can do about it or you can pray that it will be listed on a shitty exchange so that you can sell it there.

If your token doesn't listed on an exchange for a long time already, don't expect too much from them.

The process of making a new token too easy there days so it's expected for a lot of them will be either useless or worthless. Most exchange won't list those since there is no benefit for exchanges come from tthose worthless token.

There are a lot of worthless tokens and I have some of them, I mean others have exchanges but their token doesn't have any volume and it still worthless.

If you look for priceless or undervalued tokens, look at the likes of $NOW, $VET etc. These are quality and undervalued coins to watch out for. You can buy them from https://changeNow.io at best fixed and flat rates

Some tokens will end up not having good value because they are bad tokens, we can't escape this because even promising looking projects end up worthless some times

Most of those token-paying campaigns will never see the light of the exchanges. So more than likely, if he got those tokens from bounty campaigns, he just wasted his effort. But if he made use of his time learning from the forum and seriously roam around not just because of his payment from the campaign, then I guess he learned a thing or two from the campaign. And hopefully, he gained something from the forum that will help him in his journey in crypto.

there are various types of projects like that and I don't think it's new in crypto, you have to pay attention to whether the project will last long or not, so you can sell the coins at the right time.

If the project fail or turn out to be a scam it means their coins are priceless/worthless shitcoins.

that's what makes a lot of cryptocurrency created because it is indeed to make tokens based on ERC20 very easy and the cost is very cheap, the most important thing in a cryptocurrency is the concept of the project being developed, when their concept can provide solutions for many people it will be easy to making tokens valuable.

if you are in a hurry, try selling the tokens you have on forkdelta. Well, I have lots of tokens from projects that I have participated in in the past and still don't have a price. remember, that not all projects have rapid development, or actually do development. try to find that information on their telegrams. if they don't respond, I'm sure you don't have hope to see the token on a market.

Yes, some tokens have really value for now but when it comes to several months or years, the also become priceless. Most of the projects that I joined have been shut down already. Some of the still have value but it’s less than compared to their ICO price. I’m glad that I already sold most of them at the good price and buy BTC. My priority is to sell them immediately if the price is right and I have no doubt if the price goes upward.

I’m being able to earn BTC throughout joining in many campaigns. I’m also expecting for them to be a big thing in the market someday but no matter how project it was, it ended up nothing and turned to a disappointing scam project again.

There are priceless tokens, priceless assets everywhere in the world; in all aspects of life; what stands out individuals is their ability to select rightly the type of projects to invest in. Hence, in the crypto currency space, there will always be priceless token, but with guile and sheer research competence you can find a gem out of the priceless and valueless tokens. For example, i have been hodling pixby token for over 5 months worth just 1$; but today, it is worth over 50$, a testament to this quote that says, find a gem, research about it, invest in it and wait for it to flourish.

Even I have 3 more types of tokens that are not listed at any exchanger. my advice is not to count on tokens like that, that have a small chance of being listed. Just try to see the development of tokens that you have through the official telegram group or the site. Whatever it is, it's better not to care about it and just don't think of it.

if you have had it for a long time, of course, it's not good to hope for the promises that the team gives to be listed on the exchange even after a few years of not seeing them available for sale. except those who are listed on the exchange and have little value and still have clear product development. we can still hope.

Unless they're holding sort of private sale, I don't see any benefit from withhold a token from listing on exchanges. If they are already distributed token then why they don't try to list on exchanges is beyond me. How did you get those pricelesstoken? From bounty or from their sale?

actually there are many reasons why project developers don't list to exchange, but the most mainstream ones are: currently focusing on developing their services or products, waiting for good market conditions and the reason they often use them is they want to exit scam because the purpose of making a project is to get funding and then run.

There are many so many of them and you just have to keep holding. One of them might wake up to life. There is no beneift in distributing token but to increase the number of token holders and also to fulfil their words bounty and airdropers.

So many people facing same problem. But you have to choose the right project/token. There's a lot of tokens came but they didn't stay in this market. Even I am holding so many coins. After that, I realized that very few tokens are legit & the majority percent is fake or scam. In this case, we should research that tokens before holding.

I had many shit tokens in my collection where i spent money and then found out that it was an elaborate scam, everyone went through those misfortunes and we will be seeing those in the future and there is no stopping in those worthless shit projects as long as there is no regulation in the market regarding who can raise money providing tokens and if anyone is free to do so then you will see scams like these.

It takes time to listed exchange and in the meantime teams are doing hard work. You shouldn't leave the projects before you get enough rewards. Once I got a coin after 1.5 years, these coins listed on exchange and returned me high rewards. Actually I don't sell any coins until the next pump of cryptocurrency.

Well being newbie in crypto was very hard like you are going to fomo or buy a shitcoin and believe that one day it will be going to have a value but sorry to say don't believe on people that are just going to say buy it and soon it will be listed on exchange if I we're you I'm going to buy a coin that it was already on the top market not on the shitcoin that has not value.

And that leaves the users to be responsible of what they are doing with crypto.
Because these scammers will always be there and they will just try and try to screw people.
If you want to stop such misfortunes, better take a break in investing on these projects.
Or one option is to invest in an existing and established market like btc or eth.

Priceless tokens are useless. They are just a waste in every exchanges and they should be eliminated. I have also token which finished the ICO at the end of 2017. However, until now there is no real case. I am always asking in their telegram chat room, but they only tell me that it is not their priority. As of now, I decided to leave on that group because I just can`t see how my token dies.

I hope soon, there will be a filter for a developing project to a stagnant one. So that we can easily avoid projects which are shit and priceless.

dont hold token for long time , 1,5 year was good time to hold token and if its price pumped and we still have a chance to sell just do it. we dont know what will happen with this token next day. price not always dumped but it not always to dump . sometime it will dumped alot when holder see they got good value with their assets.

Well, I also almost have the same story. have tokens that they make but don't have a price. however, I consider tokens that are more than 1 year old but do not have a market as junk tokens. Well, they should take this into account before they start the project. so, I see something like this as a half-progress. I can only hope that the token has a price in the future.

Not all tokens will survive, this is something you can't predict either, most new tokens will end up in your wallet for many months and probably still end up not getting listed on any exchange, no crypto investor can escape this

The projects are bad projects that's why they don't have any good value, too many new projects are like this nowadays, the only solution is to invest in top altcoins or join top exchanges IEO launchpads like Huobi, Kucoin or Gate.io
