Title: Which wallet do you think is the best?
Post by: karsyla on September 02, 2020, 01:30:04 PM
Which wallet do you like the most? Personally I really like Exodus, the only con is that it's not fully open source, but other than that it's a great wallet!

Are there any wallets which allow you to have multiple addresses?

I have used Trust wallet my entire life and I have never experienced any problems or breach of security. Most of the coins market cap has wallet on Trust and its easy-to-use.
For bitcoin, I used mycelium wallet.

I am looking for a open-source multi-currency wallet which would allow operating multiple addresses on a specific coin

I have used myetherwallet mew mostly alongwith coinvase but now i have started liking trustwallet because it provides more solutions and options.
Regarding multiple eth wallets you can try Gaurda wallet, they are advanced wallet service with this option.

I can recommend a lot of good wallets Exodus is a good wallet, they always have a lot of updates almost every month to fix and fully secure my wallet, Atomic and Green wallet are also good wallets, when it comes to Ethereum, MyCrypto is a good and secured wallet, familiarity and security are big factors, test what is great for you.

Guarda wallet is good because it provides the option to create multiple wallets from within one account or app. Secondly you can also access decentralized apps directly from the wallet so it is like getting metamask like utility without installing any extension.

When you need a wallet that supports multiple platforms or blockchain, my best bet is Trust Wallet. The wallet support ethereum, bitcoin, tron, EOS, bnb and several other blockchain. I was using Imtoken and MEW, until I found out that Trust wallet has a multiple wallet that can support many cryptocurrency without hitches. I know, the hardware wallet like the ledger nano are more secured, but they're expensive for low crypto earners.

For the Exodus wallet I have never used it, but what I know now is that most of the wallets are MEW, Trust Wallet, Coinomi because it supports all coins available in the market, to be honest for storing ERC20 tokens I prefer Trust Wallet and for storing bitcoin Electerum because it's safer and easier to use for my taste.

I can't give an explanation about the Exodus wallet because I never used it.

I have been using exodus too for a few years but im also using imtoken as my main multiple wallet. If we are talking about the security for the wallet and exodus was the winner in this case but exodus is not supported a lot of altcoins and that makes me try to take another multiwallet to be another option.

Mycrypto.com was also become my best wallet to store ethereum and its asset too. mycrypto.com was a desktop wallet.

True, it's mobile based wallet. Currently MEW only have IOS and android apps.

If you looking for multi crypto wallet have desktop app and open source, probably Atomic wallet [1] is your option. But the wallet is been operated from the same scammer (ChangeNow, Changelly etc) [2] so DWYOR

Not fully open source means that it's not secured enough? It's same thing with coinomi wallet and I've been using the wallet since 2018 no problem till this day, you have nothing to worry about using Exodus wallet, majority of mobile wallets are all half open source, even the most popular trust wallet

At first I had used myetherwallet for storing altcoins and coinbase for storing bitcoin, litecoin, ethereum. But nowadays I usually use trustwallet most to store my cryptos. I have never faced any technical issues or problems on trustwallet till now.

As long as making ERC20 transaction is concerned, on mobile, imtoken currently stand out in terms of scalabilty. While trust wallet always take longer time for transactions to get confirm or it can keep pending. but Imtoken is very fast with same gas fee. This can save the day on an emergency day. On PC and trading on uniswap, Metamask is the king.

imtoken can indeed be the best wallet choice but there are still some good wallets too, one of which is the Trust Wallet and currently MyEtherWallet is still widely used to store various kinds of tokens based on erc20 or other, the most important thing is not to have too many wallets and make sure the security of the wallet you use is very high.

Myetherwallet is the best choice for everyone if they prefer to use ETH and ERC20 tokens. But if they need a wallet that can use many different tokens on many different platforms, I believe Trust wallet will be the best choice.

As far as I know, you need to have the Name of Token and the contract address of that Token, from there you can easily add it to MEW. I haven't used it in a long time but that's how I used to do it

For ETH wallets and erc-20 tokens I always use myetherwallet, because it is easy to access, very safe for transactions and a fairly simple display. For bitcoin and altcoin, I always use mycelium and coinomi because it is very easy to hold for traveling while carrying a smart phone.

I currently use 3 wallets; Electrum, Atomic and, Exodus...
to save Bitcoin I only choose in Electrum but for Altcoins like Ethereum, Tron, ADA, LINK and NEO that I have, I prefer to save on Exodus and Atomic, besides that the advantage is that I can 'staking coins' as a long-term investment in Atomic and Exodus.

If I'm to have my way, I'll go for the ledger nano wallet, which is a hard ware wallet and is more secured since the wallet is offline and only goes online when the owner wants to effect a transaction. The major challenge I have is that the value of the wallet is kinda expensive and my cryptocurrency portfolio is not high, so I'll rather go for the mobile wallet like trust wallet.

Trust Wallet seems to me to be the best wallet so far. After having a crypto platform for a long time, until now, I have not used any multi-functional wallet like a Trust wallet. So considering all aspects, Trust Wallet is my number one choice.

I like projects based on the ERC20 platform and the wallets I currently use to store some of the tokens generated from ERC20 platform projects such as Trustwallet wallets and for online wallets like MyEtherWallet. i use this wallet to adapt to every project i follow.

I also use MyEtherWallet regularly, it's very easy to use and simple, I don't like complicated wallets like coibase.
MyEtherWallet is my choice when keeping ETH and tokens issued on the ERC20 platform.
For other currencies I usually use the wallet of the project itself to hold the coins.

Coinbase, Coinomi.
Coinbase is a good exchange but not as a wallet.
Coinomi is a good multi-cryptocurrency wallet. But OP wants a not closed-source wallet which Coinomi is. Get a hardware wallet, they are good multi crypto wallet.

online multi-wallet, I use imtoken and trust wallet. beginner-friendly I think, it looks easy to understand. Imtoken, I used it for a long time, since the beginning of joining crypto, when I needed on time notification of incoming funds, while truswallet I used recently because of many interesting developments from dapps.
All wallets are safe as long as we really choose a trusted one, then secure the wallet as well as possible. Save the best possible backup phrase or add 2-fa, do whatever you can for maximum security.

I strongly recommend using Trust and Atomic wallets for getting the best performance on both Android and IOS phones. For desktop users, Electrum has done a good job for LTC and BTC transactions which is easy to set manual fees by checking the average transaction fee on apps. On the Jaxx Liberty ETH wallet, you can collect ERC20 tokens, many new crypto apps support two-factor authentication which is important fro attacks from hackers. BTW, there is a newly released app by MyEtherWallet which can be found on Google play store for downloading, this app can help the traders to access the ERC20 tokens easily by scanning the QR code.

Whenever you hold the private keys and it isn't directly controlled by a third-party, consider it as the best wallet for security.
There isn't much you should look for wallets mostly except your security.
Avoid online wallets as much as possible, even if support from the devs is there, having issues is already annoying in the first place.

There's a lot of wallet online, but the commonly used is MEW or myetherwallet. It is also convenient to use. We can also used online exchange wallet if we have trust on such wallet to store our valued coins and tokens and this is good such that it is already on a wallet exchange already, it's ready to sell coins or tokens anytime when stored to an exchange market.

Choosing a preferred wattet is based on choice. Different persons have what the seek in different wallets. For me aside owning a wallet that gives me access to having multiple btc address as a criteria. I also seek wallets with moderate charges and ease of  conversion to fiats. Just like bundles which comes with such benefits. So I strongly  believe choice of wallet is based on what each individual seeks

It's depend on what kind of wallet you want to use.
Mobile Wallet: I prefer to use Trust Wallet
Desktop Wallet: Electrum Wallet (but unfortunately only support BTC)
Offline/Hardware Wallet: Like the others I prefer to use Ledger Nano

all of them have their own advantages and disadvantages. more important than all that is how you secure your own wallet

There are a lots of wallet available in the crypto space. Depending of your choice. Some of them are single chain based some of them are multichain supported. Some are web based, some only for pc users, and also some mobile wallets which are very popular at this moment. I normally don't prefer multichainwallet. I like to use official or official supported wallets. And I also use a lots of mobile wallet. And math wallet is one I go for. You can select which chain yiublike and then import that. Now it's upto you. Which you gonna pick.

I am using a hardware wallet from Trezor
the most important thing for me is the safety of storing my coins
at the moment, I don't see a better wallet for this parameter
in addition, it is excellent as a purse for storing a large number of different coins
it has only one drawback - it costs money
however, the Trezor One white is quite affordable for every cryptocurrency user

A good wallet depends on the needs of the user himself, moreover, the needs of users must vary. I prefer hardware waller ledger nano s, and wallet exchanger binance. The reason is because I have the hardware wallet and I tend to do trading activities, for the wallet exchanger it is easy to do management. There are several wallets that I like too, but I mostly use those two.

MyEtherWallet [1] is open source and supporting ERC-20 tokens. You can use Samourai wallet [2] and Electrum [3] for Bitcoin (it's open source too and safe)

[1] https://www.myetherwallet.com/
[2] https://samouraiwallet.com/
[3] https://electrum.org/

MEW does not have desktop app right?

Yes, Myetherwallet has no desktop app but you can open it directly using browser easily and it is the best wallet for me. There's a lot of wallet to choose but using a wallet is depends on the user if what kind of wallet they are comfortable and understand how to use it.
Do you consider the desktop or mobile app safer ?
why the regular request for use of mobile app?
It can be easily kept in your pocket ;D ;D
In fact, everyone uses their necessary devices to use the wallet, such as I use mobile like coinbase wallet for bitcoin and ethereum transactions. Otherwise when i save some token for long time holding then i use mew wallet so it may be preferred that everyone uses different wallet devices for their needs.

I would say those wallets you can have the private key and store in outside the internet but still, even those wallets seem leakable, that what happened with uniswap wallet, I suggest don't keep a lot of money in a single wallet and spread them in different wallets, it is like a house full of jewelry, would be attractive for thieves but when you spread it , makes it less attractive at least.

I used alsp metamask and my experienced using this wallet is really good and Im still using this now and I think many people too.
Im trusting to the mobile wallet  because I've never experienced that my coin lose but it is prone to hacker but I believe it depends on how you secure your walllet just like enable 2FA, never click the link from stranger that is how your wallet become secure.

Electrum is the best if you want more bitcoin Address, MyEthereumwallet is also great for the bounties and you can easily have one. The address that you’re looking for will depend on your needs, and since you are looking for multiple address, you must understand the risk of it. Every wallet has its own advantages and disadvantages, categorize it base on your standard.

The main advantage of TrustWallet is that a user who logs into a wallet using a mobile device does not need to enter a secret key or a password with a file key each time in the browser, where phishing sites can steal all secret information. Therefore TrustWallet is more secure for the common user. But Coinomi has also proven itself very well, since its functionality involves storing various cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin.

For my almost 3 years in this industry, the wallet I have been using was MEW for ERC-20 tokens and so far I haven't encountered any issue from using it.
For the Bitcoin wallet, I used a lot of wallets though because I am the type of person who usually diversifies my coins for better security. But my favorite among them was Electrum. I haven't encountered any problems here nor receiving any negative feedback. It can also create multiple addresses you if you don't want to be tracked down.

For multiple addresses coinbase works well for me atleast for bitcoin because i have used it in this regard. While I have tried a lot of wallets but personally i like trust wallet by the binance team but i think creating the wallets own token was not required rather bnb should have been used as an official ecosystem coin.

The best wallet that I used to store my cryptocurrencies is Myether wallet, Trust wallet, and Blockchain because they are safe and secured to store considerable amount of funds that makes it popular and convenient to use. But if you want to have a more secured crypto wallet, you should buy a hardware wallet like Trezor and Ledger to keep your funds 100% safe and secured.

The best wallet in my opinion is cold storage wallet like trezor since they are offline so they are protected from being hacked. For online wallet, I would say myetherwallet, I've been using it since 2017 and i haven't encountered any issue using it.

I have been reading other's reply, most of them recommends trust wallet and it seems it does live up to its name.  It allows user to store multiple currency and erc20 tokens.

For cold wallets, I advise using Trezor or Keeper but for hot wallets, there are many available choices mentioned here by other users. The Electrum and Trust wallets have the minimum necessary functions for average crypto users to send/receive the cryptocurrencies. For mobile users, I suggest checking the comparison websites and choose the suitable, easy use one. Checking each wallet and deciding which wallet is suitable is the best method I used before. You can also listen to experienced users who recommend proven and trustable wallet apps for long term use. In all cases, keep the cold wallet and private keys in offline storage in order to prevent the attackers from stealing your valuable crpyot assets.

All the established projects like trustwallet, coinbase wallet, blockchain wallet, guarda wallet etc are fine and i never have any sort of trouble with them.
But recently i have started using metamask especially for eth and erc tokens and i enjoy that alot. On top of that you can also create multiple eth wallets from one metamask account which is really a great option.

Trust wallet is a very good wallet. I have used a coinbase wallet for a long time. I couldn't see any other wallet that's downloaded as much as a coinbase wallet. But for a centralized wallet, now I trust more coinomi, trust and atomic wallet. Atomic wallet is a new decentralized wallet. I think we should wait more time to use this wallet.

I believe there are many wallets (or more preferable mobile wallets) today which makes it possible for users to have multiple addresses. In fact I can say that most wallets are now seeing the Importance of having multiple addresses so that users can easily store their desired cryptocurrencies in one wallet.
About these wallets, the first I can say is imtoken, the latest version now supports a good number of coins. Another is Trust wallet, this wallet supports a very good number of coins and tokens, I think more than that of imtoken. Another good thing about the trust wallet is its dapp browser which is efficient and can be used to connect to different platforms, just as if you are using metamask.
Enjin wallet is another, but among the three mentioned, Trust wallet is more better in my own opinion.

Same here. It is better to secure your wallet rather than opt for convenience. Because once you have no control, you are screwed. You can't sleep soundly at night worrying that someone will get a hold of your keys. So in terms of wallet, as long as you are holding your own keys and it is stored in safe and secure place, you're good to go. But I will not suggest third party wallets where you have no control of your keys because you don't know how long their business will survive.

Coinbase is one of the oldest and most popular crypto wallet providers and is very suitable for beginners, and there are actually a lot of good wallets besides coinbase, the most important thing is to study and read in detail to understand the advantages and disadvantages so that your assets are well maintained and safe.

In terms of security decentralized wallet is the best option. I have used a trusted wallet personally. It supports multiple blockchains and their native token and there are some features like hiding shit token from my portfolio. I had never faced any problem when using it. If you are an Andriod user it will be the best. But if you want to use it in your pc then use myetherwallet and metamask together.

Yes, Coinomi allows you to have multiple addresses to one coin, infact, you can set it up in a way that any time you receive fund to your address, the address automatically change to another, which is really cool cus it stops people from tracking your wallet and what's in it, I really loved to use coinomi back then cus if this feature alone, and I hope hope that trust wallet and imtoken can work to integrate this feature into their wallet too, it will be so great cus people no longer use coinomi that often anymore, more especially for Erc20 and other chains smart contract transactions.

The best solution has always been and will always be - to use authentic wallets created by the developers of each individual project. This gives the maximum security guarantee. Or you can use proven hardware wallets. Other types of wallets are not as secure as the ones I wrote about.

2. myetherwallet
because it is easy to make transaction and safe to store Ethereum or other altcoin that use Ethereum platform (such as ERC20).

Is it really that safe? Only 1 password separates your funds from the hacker. And there are too many options to obtain it from you. I have an experience of wallet being hacked. Still dont know how it was done. I was opening my wallet with json file+password method. The file was never held on public servers, mail and etc.

Myetherwallet should add extra level of defense when you open your wallet. 2FA would be perfect, but any other also might help. It is always better to be separated by two walls or protection, than with just one.

I used to use METAMASK wallet and it was smooth until I found out it has some leakage and some people are losing the UNIs in their wallets and posted on twitter also sometimes it hangs and keeps loading and loading, never let you know if the transaction failed or not till you send 0 eth to your wallet to make it undone, now I'm using trustwallet , very much better UI and it also supports staking and some other cool features.

actually until now I still use Myetherwallet and only use private keys to access my wallet, even though like that I still don't have the courage to keep many assets in myetherwalet wallet, because if you only use the private key the security is very lacking, until currently I use 2 wallets that support cryptocurrency, one of which is a trustwallet which we already know about its security.

As of the moment I am still using Myetherwallet and many cryptoenthusiasts are still trusting MEW but I also tried to use TrustWallet which for me is a good wallet as well. So I recommended both MyEtherWallet or TrustWallet.

I am currently using 2 wallets, MEW and TrustWallet. I still use MEW because this is the wallet I first used and still secured for me. And TrustWallet  by recommendation of friends too and so far I am loving my experience with TrustWallet and might aswell use this in long term too.

Which wallet do you like the most? Personally I really like Exodus, the only con is that it's not fully open source, but other than that it's a great wallet!

Are there any wallets which allow you to have multiple addresses?

I have been using the MetaMask wallet for over a year now. Since I work most of all with ERC20 tokens, I accordingly need to go to Ethereum. At one time I only used the MyEtherWallet wallet, but after I got to the wallet's phishing site once, I realized that I needed to be more secure. Then I tried MetaMask and liked it. They say that soon MetaMask will be able to directly exchange ERC20 tokens, I think this is great news and it will raise the popularity of this wallet. I also like that MetaMask protects you from going to phishing sites, which gives you the opportunity to be safe and keep your crypto assets.

Trust wallet for now, has many advantages, I will not compare it to other wallets.
but I suggest you try it. it is very practical and easy to use, you will understand after you try it I guarantee :)
The main advantage of TrustWallet is that a user who logs into a wallet using a mobile device does not need to enter a secret key or a password with a file key each time in the browser, where phishing sites can steal all secret information. Therefore TrustWallet is more secure for the common user. But Coinomi has also proven itself very well, since its functionality involves storing various cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin.

this is not only an advantage but also a disadvantage of the wallet
if the phone is stolen from its owner
then it will not be a big problem for attackers to hack the wallet and withdraw all the coins from it
personally, I prefer security over convenience

Here, of course, a lot depends on how much money you have in your wallet
if the amounts are small, then you should not seriously worry about them
however, I started to worry about the security of my wallets even before I contributed my first thousand to the crypto market
now I have a lot more money here
and that's why I first of all care about how to protect it from theft

actually until now I still use Myetherwallet and only use private keys to access my wallet, even though like that I still don't have the courage to keep many assets in myetherwalet wallet, because if you only use the private key the security is very lacking, until currently I use 2 wallets that support cryptocurrency, one of which is a trustwallet which we already know about its security.

Careful sometimes though.
Are you using the one that generates a wallet file for you?  Make sure you bookmark the actual page of MEW because I encountered long time ago a phishing site for it when I was about to claim my token from an airdrop.

Non custodial wallets are the best wallets for me, because you have a full control over your crypto assets. But even if its non-custodial theres still risk that your assets might be lost or stolen if you neglect to secure your private keys, thats why every users should be responsible in keeping their keys safe in any way possible to secure their crypto assets.

I use different wallets for different purposes. I don't like multi-currency wallets because I don't like to keep all my eggs in one basket. I use Electrum for bitcoin and MetaMask for Ethereum and its tokens. I also sometimes use MEW. First of all, ease of use and security are important to me.

Well, both of you have a point.
But I guess he prefers most if he has multiple wallets to store his coins to avoid the risk of losing it one at a time. I guess, he uses some kind of note to write the information about his wallet.

There are lots of wallet for altcoin such as crypto.com, trust wallet, metamask. My ether. Personally I use Metamask wallet cause it's easy to use, you can connect to any decentralize exchange and swap any coin. Also it's come with Google chrom broswer plugin, so you don't have to open anything else. my 2nd most fav is My ether wallet.

trustwallet which we already know about its security.

I havent heard much fame about security of Trust Wallet. The app itself offers only "app lock" - digital password based security, and auto change address for bitcoin and forks (but this is mostly for privacy).

Of course on the website it is mentioned that it is most secured wallet and only I can access it. But if you are using iOS, you can restore from backup on any other new gadget and gain access. Truly, only you and everyone with access to your PC or laptop has access to it. Maybe I'm confusing something, but about 2 weeks ago I've restored all my data on new iPhone and everything worked out-of-the-box for me.

i am used it too mate, in my opinion trust wallet have many good feature as cryptocurrency wallet to store our assets. based on my experience while sending token , trust wallet faster than using metamask or my crypto. default gas fee that automaticly set will help us .

you must becarefull when accessing wallet using metamask , i heard many case about wallet hacking that caused by metamask, even my close friend be the victim of metamask hacking.

I also heard about several cases and all the hacks were the fault of the owners of wallets, because they opened unverified phishing sites in the browser where the metamask is installed.

I think you use too many wallets and will have a very high risk when you forget to access your wallet, maybe you can use a trust wallet which in my opinion can replace all the wallets you are currently using.

I am an adult and know how to store important information necessary to access my wallets. I also duplicate it and keep backups on removable hard drives.

That wallet you recommended is good and secure for our asset, though it cost a lot of money upon purchasing it. Average trader can't afford to buy this one due to price reasons, so I also recommend to use software wallet like metamask because it's also having secured access same with nano. We now have the two options either you choose hardware and software wallet.

Sometimes i'm using ImToken too to connect on some DEX. Trust Wallet it's good option too i suppose, Well it's depends on your own choice my advice just Careful!

MEW, ImToken app, Trust Wallet, Payeer, Blockchain_com, Binance. It depends on your needs, for ETH tokens MEW or Metamask are best, to trade it's Binance or any other exchange, for long term hold - cold wallets, for payments Payeer or Trust Wallet, etc. I'm sure there are much more good wallets, but I mostly use only these.

Atomic wallet is my choice. there you can store various kinds of tokens from different blockchains and you can still have the private key of each token there.

for example, you have an ETH token in Atomic then you can use the private key on Atomic in MEW and that also applies to others such as Bitcoin and Tron.

There is no official wallet for bitcoin even bitcoincore is not an official wallet so don't consider yourself as official wallet guy. Using local exchange or peer to peer sites like localbitcoin also can be useful for conversion into your local currency but it is not meant for storing.

offline wallets are best because it will not be a subject for any hacking or phishing activity unless there is an option that it could also be use to exchange or send crypto online.

Most likely wallets with security features do have switching features like offline wallets will not be exposed and only wallets that holds small amount of funds or funds use for spending are online. Others that are not considering spending crypto are using hardware wallet to which they will going to access when needed.

For most cases, I use Metamask wallet because it was so versatile, most of the websites today require ERC 20 compatible wallet, metamask could also be used using Google's extension so transactions is quite faster especially if you are trading and you need to be so quick to execute a trade. But for the long term, I still consider ledger nano to be the best wallet because of its security features that will surely protect your assets to the highest possible security. Next in my list is MEW and Electrum, I started actually using MEW, but the extension feature of Metamask is what made me switch my main wallet. Electrum is also good for storing BTC as your wallet could be easily managed.

It is very good for both wallets that you recommend, but whether it is slow or not it depends on how the connection is in each user's country there are some countries that do not support it at all, some are also supported, so I think how they handle it and choose a wallet that supports in their country, but I totally agree with you, with both Metamask and Trustwallet wallets ...

Blockchain.com is one of the best and people assume just because they do have a connection to your code they think it would be stolen but they have time and time again proved that they do not keep it on their data, you have to keep it when it is given and write it down somewhere, otherwise its gone because they don't have a connection.

It used to be .info so some people may confuse it, but it is blockchain.com now and they are basically the website for all of blockchain checking and you can have a wallet there. I still have mine after 7 years and it worked perfectly, you do not need anything else. They used to only have bitcoin, now they have bunch of altcoins as well, not all of them obviously but they do have plenty enough for you to use them if you want to.

If the wallet supports 2FA, then it is good to go for me. Otherwise, buying the hardware wallet and keeping the seed phrase(word list) in a safe place which should be burn-proof is essential. The security concerns are understandable but combining the most secure apps together doesn't guarantee lifetime protection. Separating the funds and keeping each wallet on different storage is the best method if there is no hardware wallet on the user. 2FA is an important  factor to block access by third parties, hackers, attackers, social engineers etc

i used both of them too. i used blockchain since 5 years ago till now. that is the bitcoin online wallet that i really trust. also i used trust wallet for saving my ERC20 and BEP20 based token now. i don't have any issue when i'm using both of them. i don't want too use some new wallets carelessly, because it probably become a scam wallet in the future.

the best wallets is always going to be hardware wallets
this is because any wallets that is online can be hackedd.. i always thought my metamask wallet was completely safe, only forr me to get hacked and all my ethereum stolen a few months ago.
Get a good hardware wallet for your cryptos and also use dog tags to keep your private keys.

the best wallets that I still use today are Myetherwallet and TrustWallet,
to store Ethereum and Ethereum tokens I chose Myetherwallet, because I have been storing assets there for 2 years and it's safe,
for BEP tokens and other altcoins, I chose Trustwallet because it's simple

Undeniably for managing your assets on the erc20 platform, the best wallet is MyEtherWallet. And also Coinomi has a very accessible and simple user interface and 12 words as a secret key. But if you take, for example, the Blokchain .. info wallet, which provides the ability to store Bitcoin and Ethereum, as well as several other highly rated cryptocurrencies, then it suits me due to the high degree of security, which is confirmed by the multi-level possibility of confirming all actions, as well as entering the wallet.

After reading my friends' posts here, it seems like I'm the only one who still uses an exchange wallet. Of course this is very risky, but I'm not very active in using cryptocurrency at the moment. I keep all my crypto assets on Binance and Bittrex, maybe around $ 200 in digital cash.

I haven't used a personal wallet because I think the amount of my assets is very small, I feel a loss when I have to make a transfer from a personal wallet to an exchange wallet which consumes GAS Fee

Make sure if you keep 50% + of your total assets and in the form of digital cryptocurrency assets, then try to use a personal wallet, because as long as the private key is not in your hands, then it's not your money.

We have different views on which you are comfortable in using the wallet. So just gather the data first for you to have an option of the best wallet these days.

There are many wallets available in the market. But I always prefer to use official or official supported wallets. But now a days multi chain wallets are very popular. And exodus is one of them and it's really good. Many people use trust wallet too. But I personally use math wallet where you can add almost all chain and do it separately. It also supported my most of the dapps. And it has a mobile version too. Which is very useful for me. Cause most of the time I'm operates my fund with mobile.

The wallet for browsers I recommend Coinbase, although it is centralized but has a large selection of coins to store.
Wallet for mobile I recommend Trustwallet, large selection of coins and very easy to use.

the important thing you must understand is that there is a high likelihood of stealing your coins in web wallets
it is best to store coins in wallets that are installed on your computer
ideally, use a hardware wallet like Trezor or Ledger.

I love the Binance Trust wallet. Open source, nice design, easy to use interface, the ability to connect and create multiple wallets, constant product development and support.
In addition, as far as I remember, the Trust wallet has never reported any cases of hacking, which is very good for the reputation of this product. For me, this wallet is number 1.

If there were no reports of a wallet being hacked, this does not mean that the wallet is highly secure. It's possible that people don't use this wallet EN masse. Therefore, hackers were not interested in developing ways to hack the wallet.

All of these wallets are web applications. They are dangerous. There have already been cases when hackers changed the DNS server of the wallet website to their own and thereby received the private keys and seeds of users who wanted to use their wallets. That is why I use these wallets carefully and do not keep many coins on them.

Exodus is good wallet. right now iam just using my metamask. coz don't have more than $500 on my portofolios, lol. but i think some wallet like trustwallet should be enough for the terms of security.
Trustwallet is good yeah I have heard some of my friends actually use it and told me it is decent. But as for me I have always used blockchain.com wallet because it is just super easy and I am too familiar with it and it allows all the features I need like sending transactions with custom fees. Also one big benefit I get from using it is that it allows and accept Bitpay's payment invoice so I can paste the link and directly pay the amount because if someone has used Bitpay invoices they must know it is impossible to pay those from most wallets as the address and amount are not shown directly.

I haven't used many wallets but really don't feel the need either because this one blockchain.com wallet solves all the problems and is quite trusted so never doubted them and I am not a technical person so best for me.

Different wallets are convenient in their own way. For example, in metamask now you can already do a swap, trustwallet is very convenient when you have a lot of wallets. The combination of  metamask and ledger wallets is very good for security

I have used myetherwallet mew mostly alongwith coinvase but now i have started liking trustwallet because it provides more solutions and options.
Regarding multiple eth wallets you can try Gaurda wallet, they are advanced wallet service with this option.

Yes i am 100% agreed from your suggestion, in fact trust wallet have more suitable options/ solutions than my MEW. BITFI is also fine

the best wallet in my opinion is trustwallet. because I use trustwallet. As we know, Trust Wallet is Binance's Ethereum (ETH) wallet application that is safe to use, and has several advantages in it, namely: 1. a lot of crypto from the Ethereum blockchain. 2. safe to use, 3. easy to use, 4. have DApps, 5. have DEX / Exchange, 6. have Swap system, 7. have Crypto stake system. Of these 7 advantages, of course we as users are very lucky to get to know TrustWallet, because TrustWallet is very beneficial for all users, not only for beginners, but for seniors.

your wallet can also be hacked
better not to keep large sums of money on it

In order to use multiple accounts, you can try Guarda crypto wallet. From many review, i have come to learn that this app is working fine.

Exodus is good, but only suitable for users who have high smartphone specifications, if Exodus is compared to Atomic then the Atomic wallet is superior because it only takes up a small space and also the features of the Atomic wallet are very complete.
but if you want a truly secure wallet, Trezor or Ledger nano can be the right choice.

excellent opinion
hardware wallets are truly the best in terms of security and reliability
they have only one drawback - they cost money
However, if a person has coins worth more than a thousand dollars
then it already makes sense to buy one of the Trezor or Ledger wallets
they are approximately equal in terms of cost and safety.

I've tried to use all of these wallets.
Atomic Wallet has a private key that you can use to access official platforms, while the Guarda Wallet has an import private key function.

To store ERC-20 tokens so many users trust "Trust wallet", Myetherwallet is safe for me. Don't you want to check the coniomi wallet and Atomic wallet? I will try an all - known wallet at least once. But "blockchain" wallet downloads over 5 million but I would suggest not to use this wallet.
Do you mean Coinomi?  to be honest i have used coinomi and atomic wallets but i did not find some interesting. Many of my friends find problems when using Coinomi but for me personally I have never felt anything bad but when talking about efficiency I prefer another wallet.

I use Electrum to store my Bitcoin, with Electrum you can also create multiple wallets in one application. This application is also very light to run on computers with low specifications. And what I like the most is that with this application, we don't need to synchronize the wallet node.

Then to store Ethereum or ERC-20 tokens there are many choices, one of which I like is Metamask, I use Metamask from 2018 until now. Metamask is more friendly when used, and also supports Uniswap exchange,

I got information from a friend that there is a wallet that suffered a big loss because hackers and the owner of the site dared to make up for all losses to the site's users. This is very good in my opinion
it has happened to some of the large exchanges in the crypto market. those who have the high trust of course will return the funds that were lost due to hacking. binance, kucoin, and hitbtc have also experienced the same problem. but for personal wallets, it seems that if a hack occurs it is most likely a factor of the negligence of the wallet owner.

I am not that aware before that trust wallet also utilizes collections, and if I am not mistaken, you can store and manage your NFT's using  Trust Wallet if that is the case. But in terms of the use case of the wallet, I think Metamask is the best for ERC20 token transactions. That is because you can easily send and receive by just downloading an extension to your browser especially right now, that most of the project has their own Dapps and the emergence of Defi, which pushes the investors to be faster and efficient. In addition, if you are managing more than one accounts, the Metamask's seed phrase system is quite easy to understand.

That is just for the purpose of fast transactions in this competitive market, but in terms of overall usage, I still consider hardware wallets such as ledger nano to be the safest among the rest because of their private key's permanently hidden even if you try to export it with other decentralized wallets such as electrum and MEW.

You're right mate, Trust-wallet is widely used for those who have trust in binance exchange. Though, I haven't personally made use of this cryptocurrency wallet because of their reputation which hasn't been heard in this industry apart from the most recent when they were bought by the binance exchange. We don't want to support centralized exch but Binance exchange is the best exchange, the same case in the centralized wallet. Trust wallet we all suggest the most, but Coinbase is the popular wallet. Of course we have to be careful choosing a wallet to store the coins we have. My advice is to avoid storing coins on exchanges,
which is very easy to hack. I think hardware wallets such as the Ledger Nano, Trezor and KeepKey are the best choices for storing
your coins, because we hold the private key. As an alternative, you can try storing coins on a mobile phone wallet such as the Trust
Wallet which is currently being widely used by the crypto community, Trust Wallet also has great reviews, so I recommend it to store
your coins.

some long term investors would prefer a ledger. but trading players or investors with a short-term turnover of money will definitely like trust wallets. or MEW is also easy to use and is familiar to many people.

Hardware wallets have a positive side in the level of security. The free version however, I use a trustwallet wallet. Easy, attractive, and so far no complaints while using TrustWallet.

There are lots of wallets but the wallet I can tell people about is TRUST WALLET, my first time of hearing about Cryptocurrency, the person who introduced it to me have told me about it that its the best and truly tested and trusted. Its the best.

I'm also using Trust wallet for such a long time when a friend of mine introduced it to me as well. I feel safer and more secured when using it and I also like its accessibility because it's user-friendly since I could access it through my mobile phone anytime. It's really important for us to choose where to store our funds so we better choose the one that we think is the safest.

In this market there are lots of wallets available. It's depends on you which one you prefer. For me some hardware wallets like ledger or trenzor is the best. They rae highly secured than any other wallets. It's not easy to buy a hardware wallet for all. Then you can go online web wallets or app based wallets. I normally prefer wallets that are announced by the officials. But now a days multiwallets are very popular. Mostly the mobile based multiwalltes. For that I use math wallets.  There are lots of other options available too. But I always prefer mathwallet.

So i choose myetherwallet, that is also safe and secure and very easy to use.even anyone can use it without paying a single cent to them...

The best wallet is the wallet that used by many people in cryptocurrency.
I think coinbase is a good choice for storing different coins in crypto, even you can use the wallet in your phone.
Keep in mind if we using 3rd party wallet, we should use it with caution because we don't have the seed phrase or private key of the addresses.

I use coinomi for a year and have not experienced any problems and complaints. I also had time to use exodus, but I came back to using coinomi, maybe because I was comfortable on that wallet, lol. Another alternative is a trust wallet, but the wallet doesn't support many blockchains.

I agree on MEW. I have been using myetherwallet for the last three years and never had any issues with them. I have seen a lot of users complaining that it is not safe and hackers find it easy to steal the tokens. But I have never faced any such trouble. If you take the necessary security precautions, then I guess your ETH and the ERC-20 tokens are going to be safe.

Well, in my humble opinion, is the hardware wallets, they are extremely safe, easy to use and depending on where you live, it can have an affordable price.

Well, if the user doesn't have the purchasing power to buy a hardware wallet there are other wallets for example, MyEtherWallet (MEW) to store ETH and ERC-20 tokens and to store Bitcoin I advise and I like Electrum (desktop), it's easy to use and has several interesting configurations/features

I was utilizing token and MEW, until I discovered that Trust wallet has a various wallet that can uphold numerous digital currency without hitches.

You should be careful when storing in an exchange like Coinbase because recently hacking cases have occurred. It's better for you to put funds in an offline wallet and keep your private key in a safe place. But it's still your right, I just suggest it.

I think the crypto user have most like wallet once they experienced  a good services and their use it for more years and have different features or the security is very high . Indeed its not advisable to use an exchange to store your coins. There are many trusted wallets that we can safely use like Myetherwallet and electrum.

Dont use an exchange as wallet, its not really safe. Just use it if you already want to trade your coins.

I'd like also to emphasize the number of altcoins I can store in trustwallet. I use my this store my tron which mew did not have. However, I am always divide my coins so that if there is one of my wallet being compromised, I have other wallets to be used.

I have lost my coins multiple times with exchange wallets, starting from BTC-e/Wex.nz, to Cryptopia. But sometimes people find it easy to store their altcoins and tokens in exchange wallets, as installing desktop wallets is not very convenient. Also, it is not practical to install desktop wallets for all the coins, if you have dozens of different cryptocurrencies. Multi-coin wallets are also good, but I don't trust them.

Many investor lost their assets in cryptopia without responsibility from the owner will their refund their money or not, most than two years without clarify form the owner or cryptopia how the fund investor will get back or not. I know most effective saving assets on exchange market than saving on offline wallet like nano laedger. When saving on the exchange wallet and checking have good price we can sell and take profit but if you hold in nano ledger wallet you must waiting for few minute later for sending and your wallet syncron before sent to exchange wallet, but always have risk when you save assets on exchange because like happen with cryptopia and some time many exchange suspend for withdraw more than two weeks like okex exchange.

The most secure is the hardware wallet. Laser, Trezor are good hardware wallets but now it is very difficult to get them by ordering from outside. You can use paper wallet if you want, it is more secure but you have to create paper wallet keeping some things in mind. If none of these, install the Electrum Wallet and write down its seed key. Then he uninstalled the wallet leaving an address. Send bitcoin to that address. Recover wallet with seed key when needed.

Are there any wallets which allow you to have multiple addresses?

Trust Wallet is a crypto wallet that has multiple addresses, or is multi-functional. Trust Wallet also supports all coins and tokens. I think this wallet is suitable for holding coins or tokens, and has a exchange function or swap.

that's what I told everyone in this thread
exchange wallets are not your wallets and the exchange can block access to them for you at any time
that is why you do not need to keep a lot of coins on exchanges, even for trading
divide them between multiple exchanges

The first priority using the Crypto wallet is trust. If the wallet is not trusted then if it has the best features and securities it is totally unsafe and you may lose your assets. Always use the wallet which has more trust and security like Ether wallet, Trustwallet.

The forum exists so that all wallet users can write which wallets they trust
the person who chooses which wallet to use will go to the topic and read what users prefer
I only trust hardware wallets

In order to send tokens to the liquidity pool, I had to look for exits for opportunities, since I use a mobile device in most cases. Since Trust Jack is not very good at this, I found the metamask application in the Play Store. In fact, metamask can be imported with an existing MEW wallet, but before that you still need to create a new wallet in this application, in this sequence. I believe that metamask has even higher security, because to access the wallet there is a certain number of phrases that must be used to access. And the main advantage is that neither the private key nor the file key appears anywhere on the network.

My first choice for Altcoin is MyEtherWallet, because it is an open source wallet and secured, you can put old ETH based tokens in it and as well as ERC-20 based tokens too. Though MyEtherWallet doesn't support desktop app but you can use metamask or mobile app, it is easy to use.

Many people are suggested atomic wallet but you know it's not an open source project, personally I don't prefer to use any proprietary software.

Metamask is indeed a good wallet to use in browser, i usually use it on my firefox and google chrome browser.

I prefer the Metamask wallet because it is very light, easy to use and can be combined with other networks that have similar networks such as ethereum or RPC. the drawback of this wallet is that it is too simple so it is very easy to get hacker attacks, usually they will hack through dapps that we connect via metamask, preventing that I will not put a lot of assets here, because it will change the wallet periodically.

Like trustwallet mobile app or metamask mobile app and desktop extension. I somehow find them easy to access and use, and along with it there are lot of menus and features as well and very easy to understand (beginner friendly I may say). And when it comes to security, I believe it is up to us to secure our funds. So yeah, those are the two wallets I preferred to use and I think many newbies would probably like those as well.

I use a trust wallet as a wallet that I often use, it has become my trust to store assets here, this application is very light to use, has access to many networks, even basic coins such as dogecoin, litecoin, tomocoin, Solana, etc. the fee is set automatically directly from the wallet, so we don't need to set it up from scratch, we can create multiple wallets in a short time, we can even connect dapps in the application itself, making this one application have so many functions related to wallets and assets.

I like with metamask most easy access trough chrome browser by add on extension, maybe with trustwallet have to access by mobile phone and looks not simple when try add smart contract address or add new network there. Still use both trustwallet and metamask but most active transaction trough with metamask because less activities update with mobile phone.

Still hardware wallet and mine is a Ledger. I want to have Trezor and use it since it's popular for the NFT that I've got and securing those NFT assets that I have whilst in Ledger, it's not yet supported but that's good to me. I've been used to Ledger and very secured based on my experience.
To those that still don't own any good reputable hardware wallet, save and buy it and treat it as your investment because it will protect your assets.

I use the current coinbase and myetherwallet wallet. Trading on coinbase is also quick and convenient, myetherwallet is familiar when I know ETH. I have no trouble with them, both are very safe until now.

There are many types of hacking options, especially those like Coin Base, which should be used with caution, because if we look at hacking, we can see hacking here.  This is not a normal thing. We have seen hacking in this study. But if you leave it offline and in a place of personal safety, but here it is still your right.

For browser access from computer actually most easy access trough metamask than trustwallet just access with mobile phone, but available access trustwallet by import phrase on metamask account. I like with metamask most easy access trough chrome browser by add on extension, maybe with trustwallet have to access by mobile phone and looks not simple when try add smart contract address or add new network there. Still use both trustwallet and metamask but most active transaction trough with metamask because less activities update with mobile phone.
Trustwallet does not have an interface for desktop applications but opts for desktop friendly features if you connect it with "Wallet Connect", trustwallet for the latest version already provides many options for new networks including arbitrum and many others. I also use both wallet applications, but I often use the desktop so I choose to use metamask, because I have many addresses in one wallet, several alternative addresses to use as an opportunity to earn from airdrops and other events.

Now, I always use trust wallet. I think, trust wallet is the best wallet. Easy to use and more secure. Otherwise, I saw several communities talking about this wallet. They said trust wallet is the best wallet.
Actually at this time there are many best wallets that can be used by many people and one of them is Trustwallet, but wallets like Metamask are also very easy to use on any device you like because Metamask wallet support has also made it very easy for users at this time. So try to use the metamask wallet once and see how it differs from the Trustwallet wallet as I am also using both at the moment.
Trust wallet and metamask are both good for storing your coins and assets. Trust wallet have even upgraded because it was only Metamask that stores both Coins and NFTs, currently now, trust wallet can store NFTs. one best thing with trust wallet is that tokens on coin market cap are listed there. You can sell your coins offline with your rates. trust wallet also Grant you permission to exchange your tokens from Dapps and Panscake swap. The wallet is secure and it's mostly use to store long term investments.

Which wallet do you like the most? Personally I really like Exodus, the only con is that it's not fully open source, but other than that it's a great wallet!

Are there any wallets which allow you to have multiple addresses?

Its a matter of preference. There are couple of very good wallet out there. And each if these are unique in their own special way. For me, I use trust wallet, coin 98 and safepal.

Trustwallet is very expensive l. It will charge more fee then other. If you used Etherium transaction then I will prefer Mew wallet l. Mew wallet fee is less as compare to trustwallet and Metamask.
For transaction I prefer Tron link which fee is very low and very smooth with trc20 transaction.
But if someone need other network then Metamask is best option because this feature is just available in Metamask that you can add custom Network while other wallet has not yet this feature.

I'm also an active user of safepal and trustwallet, I like them both because the transactions I've done so far have always been successful and also have good security. but I don't really like coin98, until now, I'm still confused about using it lol.

Personally, I think that all crypto wallets are very convenient and reliable. You need to work with each wallet in order to later say how it works and why it is good. Most importantly, the wallet must be secure. This is the only property that is of most interest at the moment. If the funds are safe, then this is a great wallet. For me personally, all wallets are interesting. Personally, I use the Ethereum wallet. And I really like him.

Guarda wallet is good because it provides the option to create multiple wallets from within one account or app. Secondly you can also access decentralized apps directly from the wallet so it is like getting metamask like utility without installing any extension.
Creating multiple wallets from within a wallet is possible on many crypto wallets today, trust wallet supports this and even the atomic wallet too, another great one that supports creating multiple addresses is math wallet, you can create multiple wallets for other altcoins like Nervos, Polkadot and Filecoin.

The one and only trustwallet, is on my top list, due to many reasons, and on 2nd number metamask, ofcourse, but I don't like metamask that much, but what i can do, i have to use it, But every wallet is different than each other and all are best on their own way, you have to be specific like in security, support, lear , staking, swapping, fees, LP, etc.

Trust wallet is on the safest wallet in the world, it's consist of 12 private phrasal words. These words are very essentially for you, if you lost your phone or gadget, and couldn't find the 12 phrasal words, let just say your wallet is gone. Trust wallet recently  setting have been upgraded, before trust wallet use be a dormant wallet where habors long term investment. But now, it stores both coins and NFTs (Non-Fungible Token). One of the best thing about the wallet is that coins that have not been listed on exchanges like Binance and Kucoin, Trust wallet have them, and they are mostly shitcoins. Tokens on Trust Wallet can be swapped on Poocoin, Pancakeswap and the coins can sell to offline traders.

I have been using Trust Wallet since I got into cryptocurrency. So far there has been no problem. So to my knowledge trust wallet is much better to use for cryptocurrency.
