I think you need to specifically add the dates on your roadmap because people will kinda ask this over and over again when will this "Rumble Fish" may off the shore, when will it be live something like those. It really creates an open-ended questions to everyone. Are we on the initial distribution or was that already ended? I think it will be nice to get some free Free TON while it hasn't last yet.

It's good that finally a topic appeared on the forum. I saw a competition for the design of the site, who has links show the winners, it would be interesting to see.

With the numbers published on your website, is it possible to distinguish the number of individuals and number of companies that signed this declaration of decentralization? The Free TON platform is an open source project that is only based on the TON code, and has nothing to do with investing in Telegram.
They are not related to the activities of Telegram Group Inc., despite the fact that the platform is based on a protocol developed by Nikolai Durov. I believe this isn't the free TON project, this to token is a different and upon checking all the links on the coingecko link above it all different from the usual links you can found on the OP. I believe they haven't listed yet on a CEX, Free TON was still listed on DEX not, they do OTC and P2P.

At the moment the distribution through bounty does not look free to me because of the activities, but compare to same activities they pay with good budget. Airdrop has its advantage to attract new traders and improve liquidity, swap had a lofty airdrop recently and they are not stupid. Coineal doesnt allow to trade non resident of South Korea and also there are troubles with deposites TONs on this exchange. Think twice before sending TONs to it.

I also never trade on telegram, it's too risky. When we don't have a reliable escrow, we could lose all of our coins. Hopefully TON will probably be listed on major and global exchanges soon.

I agree the community suggestion is needed for which exchange that they want Free TON to be listed, I think listed in Binance, Huobi, Kraken, and Kucoin many people will collaborate. As I know most of the tokens supply will be used to reward members for activity and most of the tokens are still in the initial member's hands. Trading volume is quite low at this moment and not many people are selling tokens. I think more transparency really required here, it will help newcomers to understand tokenomics.

Open the guide to read. It is as safe as any other exchange, if you trust exchange you can use it, if not - don't use it. Chatex is the official service and they protect you during the trading. I personally used chatex to create this guide and didn't faced any issues during process. I successfully sold some TON Crystals and withdrew my btc. Trust or not it's up to you, no one can guarantee you safety, I'm the same user as you, not an exchange owner.

Just try to see the review from the telegram community and then when there were so many people saying that's legit and just try that. It's quite better rather than use the CEX that was putting the KYC as mandatory for the participants.

You understand it wrong. It's not an exchange from the Free TON, it's a custodial exchange unrelated to the Free TON, they just listed it among other currencies, like BTC, ETH, LTC, etc. This exchange not created in order to trade TON Crystal tokens only and it's not a group - it's a bot, everything is almost automatic and quite similar to the regular exchange. Open the bot itself or the guide article to understand more.

It wasn't created for the trading of TON alone. It is a custodian exchange, I don't know who the admin is. But it's quiet transparent as KYC is required in some transactions. You will have to verify your phone number before trading on the exchange. At least it is better than depositing into Coineal and wouldn't be able to trade or withdraw.

I think that how successful this coin will be determined by the community itself. Remember about this ton crystal was taking the community as the main aim to provide the fully decentralized platform that was getting driven by the community.
It's not the same as the TON gram that was being created by the pavel. More people join the TON community and it will bring a lot of impact as the development of the TON is based on the contribution that has made by the commmunity.

You probably don't understand the meaning of such name. There was an original TON project from the Telegram CEO Pavel Durov, this project has been closed due SEC regulations, after that the developer community launched it's own project based on the TON - Free TON, which unrelated to the original project, Free TON just used some of the original TON code.

Free TON is based on decentralized community and most of the coins will be distributed to the community for their activity activity as a rewards. Current bounty campaign is an example of such rewarding, there is no centralized team, who launched bounty - the manager itself came to the free ton - submitted proposal for bounty - received approval after voting and launched bounty. Anyone can do the same if he have enough skills - submit own proposal and launch if voting accept it or you can earn coins by participating in already launched contests. It's quite complicated for the newcomers, but the general idea is - you can launch your own program on Free TON or join some of already existing programs to earn coins, of course you can also buy them.

All sub-governances are responsible to the community and the main governance.

In general, a sub-governance is a group of active community members who want to implement their ideas in Free TON, anyone with sufficient experience and skills can create their own sub-governance or join an existing one if their proposal is approved by a vote.

Ton crystal network platform has been lunch in the cryptocurrency exchange community, with the an effective Team, working towards the platform for a successful project in time coming, which we know as TON Blockchain Network.

I didn't even think this coin can be listed on the top exchange site easily. The exchange site will have needed an agreement with the team as a requirement to create a partnership. Remember it's also not free to be listed on the major exchange site. Binance, okex, bitmax and various major platforms charged a lot of listing fees for a new coin.
I hope there will be a someone who has been creating a listing proposal regularly.

Dont forget that moments like this when bitcoin rally is in the full swing are the worst. It just gives additional incentive to make more alts. The Q4 of 2017 was a prolific period for various useless shitcoins. History seems to be repeating itself. If you look where all 2017 coins are at now you would probably just fucking lose any motivation to buy into altcoins. Makes no sense. Its like a reset of altcoin space. Happens every couple years.

Yes, it is very not easy, top exchanges have a lot of strict requirements, meeting them is difficult. Money? I think TON can satisfy the money requirement which isn't a problem because they have listed on a few exchanges, maybe use the reserve to pay.

I believe you are wrong with your assessment here, exchanges do not care about all these listed criteria, their primary goal is if the tokens would drive up volume and through this they have their own fee. I like what TON team are doing, trying to build  strong community and if community start demanding for a token listing exchanges can not say No to it forever

There is a small problem in your thesis. The official team (called governance) position is not to pay money for listings, but to achieve this for free. That's why in the near future we will not see TON Crystals on Binance or Huobi. This is why we still don't see crystals on Vitex.

Creating many discussions around Free TON it will help to promote project and Binance will list it just for interest. This is community goal that we all wish.

I very much hope that Free TON will become a very progressive project in 2021, because for the whole of 2020 this project has already won in the nomination "The Most Breakthrough Project of 2020". Everyone should have a lot of rest on the weekend because there is a flight to the moon.

It is a longread in which they say that electronic voting system (especially blockchain- powered) has a great number of vulnerabiities and don't meet minimal security requirements.

What do you think guys? These professors were aiming to sabotage the 2020 president elections results, but somehow they hurt my feelings)  In my opinion,  blockchain- powered voting system is the most transparent and secure one. I think that this technology gives people a chance to have fair elections and tell objective opinions.

The breakthrough will come when I say. Period. I possess inputs into various fields, some related to economic science. What u see happening to crypto is partially because of the change in the office, trump is shot dead in contretemps with an albino senator, a reptiloid, the one of tetrapod breed, and Joe Biden, the symbol of free Amerikka can now push the market.

Breakthrough is determined by a lot of factors, as far as I can tell several contests that are been held will definitely help popularize the project. BTW TON crystal has been doing greatly across different exchanges since the last 24 hours.

As for me the growth from usd 0,37 to 0,61 since 01/01/21 is great. TON has been fighting back his price really fast since the beginning of the year. If they keep this trend up, crystal is likely to reach a new high. Moreover, TON has been gaining new community members and partners, which is good for the project as well.

I think this competition is very important. Ambassador programs will expand the Free TON community. I think this is a necessary condition for the growth of the project.

I might be very unpolictical for a while to know  about the trending issues regards the US government and the electoral bruhaha.. Has the president-elect said anything negative that might hinder the expansion of cryptocurrencies? the last I know about  was the deregulation of KYC by CEXs  and countered by SEC... In this regards still I do not see anything the government can do about Decentralized coins running on personal protocols like Bitcoin, ethereum, TON Crystal and the likes....

Why would they even want to do anything to them? SEC is mostly interested about unregistered securites and icos/ieos that sell those. And then there are privacy coins that they can technically just force exchanges to unlist because of AML.... and ofcourse FATF and similar organizations. Normal decentralized coins should be fine.

Chinese market is bigger than African. But Chinese market is more competitive.

Well, if we talk about asian market, then we could take a look at the Korean exchange Coineal. The daily trading volume there is really high in comparison with other Crystal markets. So we can assume that in China Free TON is gonna be accepted by a lot of investors as well.

I think the Chinese market is very different from the Korean one. Therefore, it is important for Free TON to develop the Chinese and Korean subgovernances separately.

China has always been an important market in the development plans of many projects. FreeTon will have a good space for growth in this country.

The Chinese market is bigger than the African for obvious reasons, the Chinese population is bigger, the economy is more like a developed one. Africa's is still at the developing stage, the creation of the Chinese Sub-Governance exposes the hidden benefits in Free TON to investors interestingly the development would be empirical and glaring. We need more partnership from tech giant companies in China to incorporate TON Crystal as a payment gateway. Then the use-case of it can go viral among the Chinese people.
 

I agree as to China, the people there are much better prepared for new projects and know much more about cryptocurrencies in comparison with the African people. But if we talk about South Africa, I think that it is a rather progressive country, and some partnerships could be made there.

It is not just South Africa, Nigeria is another great country with large users of cryprocurrencies. African market is growing but the continent is ravaged by extreme poverty. The only users who are embracing blockchain technology are either coming through airdrop or giveaway happening in the sphere. Hi - I think this is quite an interesting project but I have to admit I can't just get a grip on the details from what I can find in the OP and on the website, although I am in crypto since 2014.

Bad reputed exchanges are not good  to trade on especially exchanges that are not popularised by either Coingecko or Coinmarketcap. I wouldn't risk my funds trading on such exchanges. I haven't seen the traces of the hack, mind sharing?

The way in which tokens are released for weak hands is affecting the price in the market. Considerate token release is the best. But, TON Crystal is still very young in the market and at times price plays a  significant role in partnership and investment. I think the Globa Communityl Governance should evaluate a lot of contests before giving approval for releasing tokens.

I think we cannot yet speak about some sort of stable trading price range for Crystal, so for now, the most important thing in establishing new partnerships is not the token's price but the project's potential in general.

This is a great initiative partnership, one it is popularizing Free TON and the Hackernoon. The reward is pretty much worth the effort and time spent on the articles.
 Kuna exchange is a nice platform, I traded TON there a couple of days ago it was flawless and the withdrawals didn't take much time before I got them in my wallet, I would suggest it to anyone ahead of other exchanges.

The price of TON coin has fallen so badly in the last few weeks I don't know what caused it to drop like that and it is now stable at $ 0.35- $ 0.4 and the last few weeks at $ 1

Several reasons could be the culprit behind the downfall in price, nobody would be able to give an accurate answer. It is a volatile nature of the market  it springs to a certain angle and fluctuates. Currently it is dwindling between $0.37-.38.

I think it is normal volatility range. Free TON is volatile because distribution is very active. Also Free TON needs more liquidity.

Well, the volatility of any coin is really high now. The market is competitive and i think that in a couple of months crystal is gonna fight its regular trading range (around 1 usd)  back. It is nothing more than an assumption of a true believer)))

This should include work experience, contact and reputation, and where applicable the various tasks completed within the Free TON network.
- All applicants should be willing to put in the time and effort to study, interpret, analyze, vote, and deliver quality feedback to contest submissions from the African continent.
- Members, who wish to apply, should be self-driven, fair, objective and be committed to promoting the African agenda in their capacity as jurors.
- An avid adherent to deadlines and quality work is a necessity.
- Have a basic understanding of the English language (both reading and writing), to greatly assist in comprehending the various submissions, and create trust among the applicants on responses and judgments delivered.

N.B. The Non English members within the African SG shall wait for a separate contest to be announced later when the programs in those languages are rolled out and as such should not feel left out.

Winner rights and duties
Winners will get the right to be a juror for each Free TON Africa Sub Governance contest going forward and get the same reward as each contest describes for jurors. In order to get the jury reward described in each contest, the juror must do the following:

1. Each juror should review each contest and its requirements under “Free TON Africa Sub Governance”.
2. The juror should review each contestant’s submission (uploaded in .PDF format) and determine if each submission is within the scope of his or her understanding to judge it, and then vote as follows:
3. If outside of juror competence, the juror should vote to “Abstain”.
4. If within juror competence, the juror should vote on a scale of 1-to-10 with 1 representing least and 10 representing most qualified submissions.
5. If the submission is inappropriate, the PDF file is not opening or corrupt, etc., the juror should vote to “Reject”.
6. The juror should provide constructive feedback in the appropriate field describing the reason for their score.
7. To reject the submission, only 50% +1 votes from those members of the jury who actually voted for this submission work are enough.
8. The jury rewards will be distributed in proportion to the number of votes cast by each jury member.
9. A judge has the right to vote in contests in which he/she participates, but he is not allowed to vote for their own submission. Self-vote will not be counted.
10. Jury members who have not voted for 2 months are automatically expelled from the Jury bench without notice.

As any civic duty dictates, every juror must remain objective to the best of his/her abilities in regard to voting, i.e., stick to the facts and the facts only, putting aside any personal feelings.

Voting for new jury
1. Each of the current initial members of Africa Sub Governance can vote for any submission (candidacy) to become an Africa Juror.
2. Each juror will vote by rating each submission on a scale of 1 to 10 or can choose to reject it if it does not meet the requirements, or they can choose to abstain from voting.
3. Jurors will provide feedback for every submission.

Trading volumes of TON Crystal have increased trading volumes since the price had gone down from its normal trading range. It shows that the community believes in the project's potential. Also the upcoming listings and partnersips are likely to influence the price in a good way.

Great news. I hope stabelcoins will open new chapter in Free TON history. It isn't possible to create DeFi Ecosystem without stablecoins.

Free Ton spends millions of crystals on competitions (like spending 10k TON crystals on Christmas postcard) and etc, and now spends only ~2k TON on airdrop (1k USD * 0.51 token price) ? That is very "generous". How much was spend on cointelegraph promotion? A million? What Free Ton wants to achieve with 1 thousand ?

Why is there two TON coins listed on coinmarketcap and what is the real one and what exchange are you using?
I don't like using HitBTC but I see it is one of the top volume in trading on coinmarketcap.

This proposal was accepted. To be honest, I had no doubt that it would be accepted. But I think the main problem is how to secure the project from fraudsters.

You raised valid points, the proposal has been accepted already. It is sad seeing few greedy people reaping off the work of others, from now onward how would the entire Sub-Governace funds be able to be trusted when issues of fraud has been linked to the people who had earlier been holding them?

I would not say that everything is bad, but there was an incident, but it was quickly resolved and this will not affect payments.

Chinese blockchain company BSN has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Free TON. For BSN, this gives access to the TON technology in its modern incarnation.
