Hi, this is probably not the first thread which asking about these issues, but this is my first time and I want to share during this volatile BTC period.

As you know, recently BTC has been volatile and has caused many losses, a large amount of money has been withdrawn from the crypto market in a short time, if I am correct, it is 2 weeks. It was me who suffered quite a heavy loss when my investment fell 75% compared to 2 weeks ago  :-[ It's the reason why I feel depressed and want to find games for fun. I also declare that this article is not for advertising purposes, it is for sharing experience  ;)

So, what is your favorite game when it comes to gambling on current platforms? What is the reason that you like it?
For me, currently, Blast is probably my favorite game, it's a completely random game and gives you a big surprise, it's really fun where you don't know when you will win or lose, all you can do is rely on luck. It's the coolest part, you know, when you're bored with your investment losses, it's great to find a game to relax. Many people probably won't know this game, because different platforms will give it a different name, but I believe you will definitely recognize it through this image (illustration, no platform name to avoid advertising elements):

And there is another great thing, I just realized that you can win this game if you are lucky  :D don't use auto feature, it's not wise, play by hand, skip a few turns, you'll see the effect  :D I tried my luck with only 100 bucks, and funny how i won almost 3 times this amount  :D damn, I never thought gambling was so easy  :D

My favorite crypto gambling game would be crash games like Bustabit,
I just find it fun and somehow similar to trading when you are just picking up random coin on the market but in a fast phase price increase and a do or die situation.
I don't really have any memorable moments or highlights on crash game because I don't chase Nyan or high multiplier I don't even bet huge amount just playing to enjoy I guess while aiming for small profit.
But I also tried gambling with my own skills and gameplay through MOBA and I won a few times.

Dice. It is simple and straight to the point. No stupid animations, no wasting time on studying teams/players etc. It is all about math and luck. Everything happens in less than a second. You either are lucky and win or you lose immediately. It just cannot get better than this. Some people like to watch the team they have wagered on and I can understand that too but it is not my thing.

LOL, do you think it's really a bet? no, for me, it's competition, and it's not really exciting, I'd rather stand outside and bet than fight by myself. If I have to fight, what I need is the title, not the money  :D

ya, sure, it can be considered a classic game, few years ago it was the most favorite game for all gamblers. I also used to see it as a tool to make money, until luck stopped favoring me  :D Mathematically, many people say that writing scripts to run automatically can make us a small amount of money, but in the long run, math doesn't allow that exactly. All in all, luck is still the deciding factor, and yes, I've always loved it, but it hurts me too much  :D

Definitely poker, but actually I wouldn't consider it as classical gambling. Okay, many see it as gambling but in my opinion it is not, because here you are not purely based on luck. There is also a whole bunch of poker theory available. Most important in poker is a good control about your emotions and also a good bankroll management.

there is one thing that I want to emphasize, if I want to have fun and relieve stress, I better skip poker  :D To me, it's really a hard-core game. If other games depend on luck and available algorithms, poker forces players to think a lot about what can happen, and what their opponents are thinking. I don't usually play poker, but everytime I play it tire of me with math probabilities i have to calculate everything if i don't want to lose all the money, then thinking about what his opponent has, what he thinks, win rate, damn it, too many things  :D it's not for fun (with me)

No, never. Slots is the worst wasy (imho) to lose your money will the least entertainment (again imho). Will not try by myself and will not advice to you.

My all-time favorite is sports betting because I believe that I can be serious here with some serious chance of winning. There are people who are making a living in sports betting but not on games like crash and dice, you're only chance of winning on those kinds of games is just pure luck.

When in question about odds then we know on how to calculate which it would always really be opposite into our winning chances but if you do entertain

Answering up the topic then crash and dice game is what i do commonly play when i do get bored.

I like to keep it plain and simple - free bets earned via competitions at different sportbooks each week, a few lottery games a year and occasionally dabbling in online poker. I like to keep the risk to a minimum, preferring instead to go the slow route to wealth accumulation via buying dividend paying stocks. Managed to earn a few hundred in the last year from free bets, sweet nothing from the lottery and cashed out a little profit from poker. I love playing online poker but it requires such intense concentration because there are many sharks out there and although I only play occasionally it is very difficult to squeeze a profit out of it. The mix of mathematical odds and pure bluffing requires very calculated play, which can all be useless if you cannot get a proper read on your opponent.

poker would be my first choice. other than poker being a fun card game it is also a great way to focus and indulge yourself in the game and helps you push out thoughts that would normally stress you out. obviously, not everyone would have the same effect from playing poker but it does help me forget about problems as I play the game. sometimes I do enjoy playing dice games but only if I am trying to win or be a runner on a tournament or an event that gambling sites typically have for their gamblers.

My gambling preferences changed over time. At first, I was most into dice but turned out kinda bad for me, I was losing a lot. Then I got familiar with card games, especially poker. That is, to date, my favorite, I like that it not only depends on chance, but you can actually learn and improve.
I also play crash from time to time, I think this one is only for fun, I'm not making any profit with it, but not losing either, but it takes some nerves and brings emotions, I like that. I don't know blast, but from what I see on the picture and judging from your description it looks just like crash (and the name is kind of similar).
Also sometimes I do slots, but they're very addictive, so I try to stay away from that one :D

Three fortunes continuously? Well, glad again to know that you play for fun and get easy winning. At the moment, my favorite blockchain or gambling related game is splinterlands.

Its an online strategy card game merged with some randomized elements thrown in (game conditions, card total) which introduces some gambling aspects to it. Transactions and games are recorded on a blockchain. Cards are playable with a double role as collectible NFTs. The native game currency is pegged to the dollar 1000:100 which makes balances the game economy on a stablecoin-esque format. Money can be won in real time through playing matches and tournaments. Although as is typical with many blockchain based games, earnings are somewhat limited unless you're a whale spending whale money.

Aside from the obvious blockchain hype. The gameplay is solid with a lot of replay value. The game is formatted well and future expansions might only build on that.

I also tried alien worlds. But it got tedious quickly, filling out captchas on every mining action.

Nope gambling is not that easy if it is all gambling site will have a hard time making money in the business and regain their operational cost, gambling is fun but does not expect that you will make easy money here, it's a luck-based game, every game in any gambling sites are risky and you should allocate money that you can afford like you do when investing in the market, you are lucky that you did not hit by bad hits, but you'll come to understand that when bad hits started to get you.

Not easy to the extent that our losses might bigger than on our gains thats why we should not expect anything like getting a bigger profits since it will make us dissapoint us. If we take gambling as entertainment only for sure we can get over easily omce we lose when we play.

My gambling journey started when I was in high school where the game Dota 2 was starting to get popular. Umm, these past few months I really enjoy crash games, any of them really. And plinko is fun. Somehow I wasn't familiar with plinko and when I saw it for the first time a few months back it really stayed with me.

I generally love slots honestly, I like trying new ones. There are tons of new features, so these are fun for me to track even if I'm not winning lots of cash.  ::)

I also like poker, but I enjoy it mostly when playing against other people and in person honestly. I think the magic of poker is lost online, so when I play it it's with friends mostly for fun or we share a small pot just to raise the stakes.

Bingo, lotteries, scratches get my attention every once in a while, but can't say they're a favorite.

Well, a game like this is very easy but it is difficult to win because this game is based on luck. That is right, -- games that related to how to defeat bankroll are usually based on luck games and which means, it will become harder to increase your chances of winning.
Since before I was very active in gambling, the game that most I like is poker, though it is based on luck at least I have a chance to improve my odds on winning because still, this is using skills and technique on how to defeat the players.

I don't gamble much for the game but if I look at it, it's like a crash game. Indeed, the game is very fun if you have funds ready to spend and of course you will get the fun you are looking for. For me my favorite game would be dice but not the general one where you can choose just above or below but the one where you can choose your own values and arrange the probability. Well you have a point. Sports betting is not all about luck, knowlege and strategy has a big part to increase the chance of winning the game. Being aware of the past performance of each team (regardless what sports it is) give as an edge to predict the outcome, hence we have a high chance to win.

I have to admit that yours is much better because I live in a city and the horse races that I see are only on a television screen being huddled together by adults shouting and screaming to the horses they have bet on as if that's going to help the horse speed up.

My favorite game, by a wide margin, is poker, NL Hold'em, in particular. I tried playing all other poker games, but found out they weren't made for me. NL Hold'em, on the other hand, is a game I really love to play. Especially tournaments. I see it as a simplified model of our life game, in a way. I mean, it's, of course, questionable whether our life is a game or not, and, most likely, it is both, a game and something else, but in that part where it is a game it is similar to a poker tournament, to me at least. You should not be distressed by your defeats, and keep going, and you will succeed in the end.

Here in my place my House is near the Race track so if i am in good mood i will just drop by and Bet and watch the race from the beginning to the end.
there are at least 5-10 races per day so i can make more betting as i wanted.

Happy to see that we've got so many poker lovers around here! Poker online got very popular during the pandemic but I believe poker tournaments will come back with a vengeance: we love to get the interaction with other players IRL and I can't believe in a world that is online-only. IMHO, this applies to anything anyway.

My favorite gambling would probably be poker or it's variation Indian Poker. The mind games involved in poker is really cool and exhilarating plus an added bonus when you can always get in the head of the other players, then you are finally in control.

You are right, it's possible to lose any amount in any game regardless of the nature of the game, given the house edge is similar. But, I still feel some games are rather risky like slots while games like dice are also going to clean the bankroll at some point but for some reason, I stay in the game much longer when I play dice, keno while playing slots I bust rather quickly but at times I do hit big wins.

I still love playing poker. Once was hooked in playing poker and with friends and that has resonated with me when I also got into BTC. Texas Hold'em is the best. You meet other players and blasting emojis when you win or survive critical moments while playing is fun. Plus poker somehow forces you to exert some skill and not only depend on luck. You hold your own cards, you control every decision for your own in the table.

The classic five card poker I played when I was young didn't have a flop at all. Each player received 5 cards and after the first round of bidding he could change any number of them. The final round of trades took place and the cards were revealed. There were no community cards at all, do you understand? It was initially a shock to me to see the different rules of the game, but now I understand that the modern version of poker is more exciting because we can perfectly understand what cards the opponent has.

You are right everyone has their own favorite but one thing every gambler would agree is they want a game with lowest house edge and most of the games I have played, I feel like dice has the lowest house edge among all the games.

Slots have a massive house edge as compared to dice games. I was checking house edge for all the slots and almost every slot game has 3% or more house edge, which is thrice as compared to dice's 1% house edge.

El Paso one of my favorite slots has a 3.94% house edge, Deadwood another very common slot among gamblers has an almost identical house edge. I know these games might be more thrilling than the dice but we are expected to lose much more on these slots.

I can completely understand your thoughts, I also believe that there are many other gamblers who have similar thoughts. Most players don't really make money by luck, they make money with knowledge and analysis, which gives them an edge. The analysis can be skewed at times, but it's something that can be grasped, for them, it's better than random numbers. If there are 1000 people out there, only 1 player makes money by luck  :D

Agreed. I also did the same calculation and realized that investing in jackpots is indeed a noob trap. If you're depressed at losing money, I'm confused why you would seek out other ways to lose money that give you the tiniest potential odds of winning something back? The achievement needs time, which will not make us stop from playing gambling and if you still do that in the long term, I am afraid that you can become addicted to gambling. Once you become addicted, there are not easy to stop gambling because your mind will only want to play gambling.

It is a lot of fun playing gambling especially when we are winning most of the time. I heard that my sister is playing online gambling here in our country and she already won some, but she is not using cryptocurrency, but you can still use your crypto and convert it into fiat. You can be skillful, but if you are not insured against a possible losing streak, you can end up being unable to utilize your skills because your balance is empty. Well, this strategy may work in several rounds, which in the end we must always pay attention to the movement so that it can change the odds in each round. Yeah, you could say that again for sports betting. A lot of things changed, not like the players but the out look towards sports betting and its predictability after the pandemic. I think it is just a fun game where money is not involved, as I do think it is hard to implement such game into gambling.

Although card games like poker and blackjack really rely on your skills, I am not that confident in my abilities so I often opt for games that do not require that much skill to win such as dice games and hi-lo games. Though, as for me, I prefer card games especially Poker. I started playing when I was 14-15 years old, and honestly, I fell for it. Kinda disagree with Crash, I really like it tbh, it's pretty simply and yet enjoying imo. As for the old school ones though, gotta agree that those are pretty great. I do hope there could be more iterations of such games really, I know card games such as hearthstone (or any other iteration like that) exist, but it's mostly deck-based so it isn't really reliant on luck.
