[1]: When reviewing applications, the campaign manager pays attention to many details, including; how informative and organic your posts are, for what and how often you get merit, do you have a customized trust list and do you use a feedback system. A sig campaign is an “ad” for the customer and a “hobby” for the participants, so the manager will definitely pay attention to whether you have shown interest in previously promoted projects. The above points are a sure way to understand whether you will be useful for promoting a particular project or service.
[2]: Your application was rejected for one of the possible reasons: if you have more negative feedback than positive, if there is an active flag, if you have a neutral feedback left by actmyname (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=465017), or if you have neutral feedback from another DT member who flagged you as a sig spammer, if you are abusing posting in mega threads. Also, how evenly distributed your posts are in relation to the number of threads in which these posts were written. Depending on how many users from your local section have applied and how often you move from one campaign to another, etc.

Users will be paid even for one written message, starting from the moment the signature is changed, of course.

So that means that if I'm accepted in the campaign, I can change my signature only on Tuesday, and logically from there I count the posts I make. Correct?

Thank you for the explanation. I'll be on the lookout for news.

specifically for Full Members, if the OP sees you have a quality post then he himself will send you a private invitation without having to PM or you apply for a registration in this thread.

➥ Change of signature when submitting an apply is not required.
➥ Don't apply if you have more neg tags than green tags, or if you have an active flag (c)
Do not PM me your application unless you have received a personal invitation.

You are a Full member and your rank does not meet up the required ranks for the campaign. Your signature space and other full members applying may not have enough space to take up the logo for senior member even if manager considers you.

Thanks, but to be honest, I've managed more than one campaign before, I just had a creative break. In addition, I have one idea that I'm going to implement in the near future, an idea that can make any campaign absolutely exclusive, (even on a modest budget).  :P

@icopress If I am not wrong, Do you send a personal invitation to popular members and your friends only? There are a lot of applications but, seems like you are not interested to accept them and you like to invite your friends instead. I am not expecting an invitation since I am not one of them. The Pay rate you offer is impressive. Thanks for giving such an opportunity to the members.

As a manager, I decide at my own discretion what would be better for advertising a Jambler, especially since it was only a launch launch and many could have missed the announcement of the campaign. In addition, among the accepted participants, there is not a single person who is on my trust list, or those to whom I left positive feedback, (except for one alt). And I do not consider that I am friends with someone if I exchanged a few words with him or exchanged my bitcoins for dollars, etc. The vast majority of users were accepted into the campaign because they applied and not because they received an invitation.

I hope the question of any injustice or chances of participation has been exhausted.  ;)

Well, I really didn't mean that. I was just curious to know about that so I ask here. I know you are a DT-1 member and I believe you are careful enough when you add someone to your trustlist.

Bump.

I wanted to comment one thing to icopress and the rest of the members of the campaign. From my mobile, I see the [banned mixer] signature like this:

https://i.postimg.cc/wxPzXkjh/Jambler-io-signature-mobile.jpg (https://postimg.cc/mhQKRCMD)

Appears cut off. I wanted to check if others see it this way too, so that icopress can take it into account, especially if the campaign were to last more than a couple of weeks.

The Best Change and CM ones appear the same on mobile as on PC, and I don't think it's just a coincidence.

It shows same from my end on both mobile and desktop. I don’t know why you can't see the actual one. However, in mobile version, most of the times, signature are broken on mobile version. For example, playbetr is broken on my mobile.
Regarding Bestchange, they have a simple, neat and clean signature. It works perfect on both platform. Best change design is pretty simple but it looks way much better than most other signature. I was discussing with someone about bestchange design long ago.

In mine as well

However, in mobile version, most of the times, signature are broken on mobile version.

This is what I was referring to. Surely the above screenshot was not ideal. Let's see if it looks better now:

https://i.postimg.cc/zDCjV9T6/Jambler-io-signature-mobile-2.jpg (https://postimg.cc/z3fWQ2tF)

The "r's" are broken.

Under "YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO", "HAVE BITCOIN BUSINESS" is missing.

And underneath "Become a seller", "Mix coins" is missing.

I know there are other signature campaigns where the signature looks broken, but the best two so far, which are Chip Mixer and Best Change, the signature is not broken in the mobile view.

I say that if we are supposed to compete with them, because in terms of payment this signature campaign today is the second best and has very similar conditions to Chip Mixer, and although Chip Mixer could work with [banned mixer] (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4667343.msg42809485#msg42809485), the manager has taken us as competitors (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1935179.msg59566592#msg59566592); it would be good to consider to fix this if the campaign is extended. If it only lasts two or three weeks it won't be necessary.

From my mobile, I see the [banned mixer] signature like this
You are not only seeing this. It has happened to everyone. I think it has been happened as the signature is not mobile responsive.

Guys, Even I am not a participant in this signature campaign, I would like to share my opinion. I don't know what it looks like on a mobile device. But, If you see the broken signature on your computer. You can fix it. I see a normal Signature on my Screen. If I zoom in a little bit. It brokes again. Look at those Pictures-

Broken One

https://i.imgur.com/M2f4i0w.png

Normal One

https://i.imgur.com/mqCNlA0.png

Conclusion: If you still see a broken signature on the Normal screen (100%). Try zoom out of your browser screen. It will fix. Sometimes it depends on your screen size. I am using a 22inch Monitor and the ratio is 1980x1080 60Hz.

Hi icopress. Do you mind explaining this here?

Translation (with deepl.com):

"I currently manage a Jambler campaign and really want to try to make a difference when it comes to the signature campaign mentality that has developed over the years. Because in 2017, when I asked one of the managers about marketing prospects and the return on investment of the subscription campaign, a thought came to mind that has stuck with me to this day. The idea is very simple... Bitcointalk ads are top-of-mind oriented, which means that companies rent users' personal signatures for their own purposes, resulting in users getting paid weekly for what they would have done for free."

Does this mean that the plan going forward is not to pay people to wear signatures? I was going to reply you on the thread in German, using a translator. But I'm not 100% sure if this is what you mean.

It is not, if it was then icopress would inform us on this topic or icopress would create scam accusation about it.
resulting in users getting paid weekly for what they would have done for free.
I think it was the thinking of 2017.

Probably. Let's see what he says.

It is not, if it was then icopress would inform us on this topic or icopress would create scam accusation about it.

Obviously, I am not talking about icopress or [banned mixer] scamming us.

I have seemed to understand his reasoning to be as follows: people write on forums for free. There are many forums where people do not wear paid signatures and write. Therefore, you could somehow make them wear the signatures without paying them or paying them less and that way the employer would get a higher return for the investment.

In my case, I have been a member of other forums and still am and have written a lot without being paid, as a hobby. But the quantity of posts and the quality of them, would be extremely reduced without being paid. I prefer to spend most of my time online on activities that are profitable for me.

I'm not an idiot, but honestly I don't understand what my phrase has to do with the accusation of fraud.

No. My thought comes down only to the fact that companies should be interested in renting user signatures and not vice versa. Therefore, when running a Jambler campaign, I am interested in those users who would publish messages on the forum, even if there were no sig campaigns. As a result, users receive a bonus in bitcoins for what they would do and for free. Also, I thought my point was pretty obvious, so I'm surprised you asked.

Maybe not enough caffeine in my body yet, lol. I suppose that from the context I could have understood it that way, but the isolated phrase can be understood in both ways. All clear.

The German version is a little hard to understand for non-native speakers, but the English phrase is pretty clear IMHO.

As I understand it, it's pretty simple: icopress and [banned mixer] want users in their campaign who post on Bitcointalk because they love to talk about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies and would post here no matter if they are paid or not. They don't want users who only post here because they get some BTC in return.

That's how it should be - in every campaign.  :)

Fortunately, there are campaigns for all types of users.
I believe that many users are already like me, who because of the number of posts and the posts they make, are more selective in the campaigns they subscribe to.

Sometimes I just go into campaigns, so I don't stay for a week or two without making a profit, because for what I do I don't think it's worth it.

Yeah, most of people were invited way before me (and probably many others) so we would also like an "exclusive" extension of the deadline. :). And right before I asked about the spreadsheet updates, I checked about my post count, and it was not updated! I hope I didn't miss any requirements/rules and my posts count! A sat is a sat!

Sorry for being picky with the wording but for someone who may not be willing to read that the campaign already started 1 week ago may understand that the campaign will continue - as of today - for 3 weeks which isn't correct. To clarify (anyone is free to correct me if I'm wrong) :

  • Campaign started on 21th of March - Week 12

LOL.

What a stir this has given the thread. I think the uncertainty about the duration of the campaign is what has made many apply for the CM one, and not so much the difference in rates.

Whatever happens, I hope this campaign lasts a long time, as competition is very healthy for the market, and it has been a long time since CM hasn't had a clear competitor (I am referring to signature campaigns, not to the mixing business).

That's true! It was necessary for this campaign to emerge, for them to accept applications! In the first week of this campaign, CM announced that in the second week of this campaign they would open applications. And now in the third week, they warn that they can be more accepted. Do they really have an eye on what happens with this campaign?

Initially I thought about applying, but then I thought that I'm doing very well here, and that it's a service that I'm even interested in exploring (opening a mixer site), so I unsubscribed. It will be good to see this campaign continue, but if it is not possible, it was a great pleasure to have participated!

Towards the third week, successful!

Although there may be some more acceptances, it is clear that the vast majority of us will stay in this campaign.

From now on, we need to continue writing quality posts, as best we can, to give a good return to the [banned mixer] businessmen and to make them extend the campaign. It's just a question of numbers, if with the advertising they get more revenue, especially if it is in a substantial way, they will extend it.

You might want to consider implementing a rule about that similar to Best Change's one:

- Don't spam. Post made after page 5 we usually consider as a spam. We can accept no more than 10% posts of weekly post quota (for example 2-3 of 25), if posts are written after page 5.

There are many kinds of big topics, implementing such a rule might not make sense. Not all large topics are spam.

For example, in the Portuguese tab there is a topic dedicated to books, and another dedicated to movies. These are topics that over time have become big, but it's not spam, because it talks about several books and movies. Let's say it's a mini book or movie club.

I believe that icopress, when giving this alert, is because it must have in mind some topic or some users in specific.

This is true. We have similar topics in the Croatian board. We have topics for certain blockchains (like Ethereum, Solana...) and all stuff that matters oke of that topics is being discussed in those large threads. That doesn't mean it's spam.

Lol, I didn't want to open a debate about this. It's just a suggestion and icopress will do what makes the most sense to him.

I agree that not all megathreads are spam, this one for example is not:

[Mar 2022] Mempool empty! Use this opportunity to Consolidate your small inputs! (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2848987.0)

And Best Change doesn't think so either, that's why they pay for some posts on megathreads, and with that rule they are known as a campaign with high quality posters.

Also, I'm not sure if posts in megathreads are too profitable for advertisers, even if they are quality megathreads. Unless, apart from posting in it, you are also the creator of the thead, as LoyceV does.

Why not?
Advertising becomes effective when a person repeatedly sees the same brand advertised.

If the content of the topic, regardless of its size, is content with quality and updated, the advertising presented is always an opportunity to promote the product.

In short, what I think is important is not the size of the topic, but its content.

Of course what you did was a suggestion, which icopress will be able to analyze. I'm just sharing an opinion, about this kind of rule that I don't think is the best, although it doesn't bother me.  ;)

Well, since you ask me I'll answer you, let's see if you and me, and maybe someone else who can possibly comment can find out how this works, and at the same time we do some free publicity for [banned mixer].

I believe that in this advertising there are two components, SEO and the fact that potential customers see the advertisement and can go to the website being advertised.

For SEO it doesn't matter where the posts are published.

On the other hand, a potential customer is not going to read your comment on page 37 of a quality megathread when it reaches page 40. When it reaches 38, maybe. However, if you are the creator of the megathread, it is very likely that potential customers, especially if they visit the thread for the first time, will read your OP every time someone comments, because the thread is bumped.

Maybe someone could show me a statistical analysis to the contrary, but if I were an entrepreneur putting advertising on the forum, what I would be looking for above all is people who create threads and publish posts on the first pages. That's where the advertising is going to have the most impact on my potential customers.

Why do you think there are many sections that signature campaigns do not pay for, such as off topic or politics? I don't think it's because of the spam there. If it was because of spam, none of them should pay for posting in Gambling and Bitcoin Discussion which are full of spam. The issue is not about spam, it is about impact on potential customers.

A quality post in off topic is going to have a very low impact on potential customers, much less than one of the same quality published in Bitcoin Discussion or Gambling.

That's what I think, but maybe someone who knows more about how this works will change my mind.

That's true! It was necessary for this campaign to emerge, for them to accept applications! In the first week of this campaign, CM announced that in the second week of this campaign they would open applications. And now in the third week, they warn that they can be more accepted. Do they really have an eye on what happens with this campaign?

It was just a coincidence  :P

The avatar rule was a response to this campaign specifically (since I never thought I'd need it to be honest), but the removal of inactive people was something I would have done regardless.

You are right!
I just think there are all sorts of big topics. And so they shouldn't all be handled in the same way.

Returning to the example I gave, a topic about books. The OP turns out to be irrelevant, because each new post is about a new book or a comment on another. It doesn't matter who does it.

That's all, everything else is fine.  ;)

It was just a coincidence  :P

The avatar rule was a response to this campaign specifically (since I never thought I'd need it to be honest), but the removal of inactive people was something I would have done regardless.

I hope you didn't take it the wrong way DarkStar_  :-[  ;)

But it was a funny coincidence. At the same time, he was forced to change some things.
That's why it's good to have competition.

I'm surprised that you're not aware.
It was mentioned in the OP.

Forget it. You're aware. My bad.
I believe you'll get more weeks if the participants and the whole campaign did well. Goodluck ;)

In addition, I still have not received a response from the customer, so I am announcing a week-long pause, which means that you can all remove the sig.

But at the same time, I tried to be as flexible as possible and paid each of you a bonus of 2 mBTC. If the campaign does not continue anymore, this will be a nice bonus for you, and if the campaign is restarted again in a week, I will take these 2 mBTC into account for future posts.

Thank you very much for this opportunity, icopress!

Just a quick question, in the event that the campaign does continue next week, does it mean that the current members of the campaign would be automatic reinstated; or are you going to start accepting applications for new members?

I will accept new members only if I have additional funds.

So yes, all participants who want to return to the campaign will be accepted  ;)

Guys, keep in mind that the bonus is not some kind of ploy to save some money on those who publish 50 posts a week, it's the remaining funds of the campaign fund. And since in matters of management I can act at my own discretion, I decided to distribute the balance of funds among all participants.

As I said, I still have not received a response from the customer, although I sent a request for replenishment of the fund on April 7th.

Thank you for the bonus gesture, I have never heard of any campaign manager doing that before. The 2 mBTC bonus you paid was a welcomed and appreciated addition if the campaign does not continue and in the event it will continue, we all understand it will be discounted from the next payment.

Since there is a monopoly in the bitcoin mixing business with signature and promotions here in the forum with Chipmixer, the forum deserves a counter-balance which will at least bring another option to mix for potential customers when browsing threads, therefore I hope Jambler does continue a campaign in some sort of capacity.

Hi icopress, thanks for everything and let's hope the campaign continues.

The only doubt I have is whether to remove the signature, as I don't mind wearing it this week but I also don't want the owner of [banned mixer] to think that he gets the same people to the site if he doesn't pay for advertising.

On the other hand, thank you for the bonus I want to specify and correct me if I am wrong, it will only be a bonus if the campaign stops definitively. If we continue next week, they will be deducted from the future work, and then it will not have been a bonus, but I prefer this second option, lol.

Whatever happens, thank you very much to icopress.

Of course it's not his fault; it's your fault of not reading something properly. It was literally on the first post on the first page of this topic. It says the campaign will run for 2-3 weeks, so I'm glad it even went for a third week since it didn't seem guaranteed from the start.

i have not even see any signs of abusive words in the comments, everyone portrays his opinions, so i think this comment don't need to be misunderstand in all ramifications, actually in any signature campaign the protocols always enshrined or present to the participants in order to know the duration and time frame of the campaign, although every human understand things differently...but don't note the comment as assort. As if previous comments weren't enough, thank you for the gesture icopress. Considering the situation that your country (and yourself!) is currently going through, and considering the aid you are providing[1], it's remarkable that you found the time to run this campaign while also providing this gesture. You could have kept the funds until hearing back from the owner or eve returned them to the campaign owner if the campaigned ended, but instead you choose another option, and for all of that we have to thank you.

The only doubt I have is whether to remove the signature, as I don't mind wearing it this week but I also don't want the owner of [banned mixer] to think that he gets the same people to the site if he doesn't pay for advertising.
Although I agree that this is a good point, I don't think it "hurts" having the signature one more week considering the current state of affairs (at least from my readings). Again, each of us are free to make whatever decision we are comfortable with but I think that in this particular case one week will pass rather quickly.

@icopress : The data poll for sure is low but would we have the opportunity to have some kind of stats from these three weeks regarding leads (for example)? I know that this edges in the area that may be considered "private" information of the campaign owner, but I figured it would be worth a shot.

I think this information is difficult for him to access, unless he can access the site's statistical data, to understand where the views came from.
The subscription that we use has a direct link to the site, so it is only with these statistics that we can know this information.
But it would be interesting to know of course.

Well, I have to tell you that although you read it, you didn't seem to pay much attention to the following:

➥ The [banned mixer] campaign will last at least 2 or 3 weeks and I will be making payments weekly.

I put it in bold for you.

I wasn't going to say anything to you but you already said something similar in the past:

Thanks icopress, thank you also for the invitation to this campaign and the last 2 fast and reliable payments. :) Don't worry, you're not losing me! The campaign only continues for one more week, right? And I have to wait 2 weeks to wear the new signature, so it's all good!

When it says "at least" two or three weeks, it obviously means that the minimum will be two weeks but the maximum is not defined. It could have been months or years without stopping.

I don't know much about the history of signature campaigns in the forum but I imagine that none of them start a campaign saying that they will last for years.

The normal thing is to try a few weeks/months and if the businessman sees a return on their investment in advertising, it is normal to continue paying the signature campaign.

You're right. The 2–3 weeks thing was also a similar situation with Roobet campaign when it debuted in 2020. Although it didn't paused at the time, anyway. Roobet has been on for two years plus now. It's likely Jambler will come back sooner than you guys even expect it. 👇

This Campaign will initially run for 2-3 weeks before results are being evaluated to determine the future outcome.

In addition, the site is currently undergoing maintenance, so everything is in order (thanks for your vigilance).

I can say that it was a pleasure to work with all of you, and I hope that in the future I will have a new opportunity to collaborate with such hardcore posters.

best regards
icopress
I do not know either any campaign manager pay or not if campaign is in hold (for coming week). I know participant only get payment for the week which has been ended. Even that may cause a delay but you have not made any delay and you gave advance payment which is a payment of more than a week base on maximum campaign. Thank you very much.

So this will be a great opportunity to start something new. I think the future is better than a glass of beer with friends.

May I suggest something that has probably been suggested before? Wouldn't it be a better idea to switch to monthly payments instead? I don't think Jambler can't handle the current mempool situation financially, but it'll come cheaper for both them and the participants by about 4 times.

We used to be paid weekly at a time when 1 sat/vb was confirmed in 10 minutes. I personally don't mind being paid at the end of the month.

(This is a general feedback to all campaigns, especially those that pay less than Jambler)

Considering that the next payment is scheduled for January 1, and given the circumstances, to be honest I am not sure that I will be available as usual on Monday, so there is a small chance that payments will be processed on January 2 or 3. Happy New Year and Christmas everyone. 🎅

It's a little crazy that one of the first accounts registered here doesn't know some basic things about the forum. Registered on 5/14/2011 (id=12610).
Positive trade history with green feedback, I might even suspect that the account changed its original owner because I see that he spammed some other CFNP campaigns. Unusual behaviour for senior members.

I am also in favor of those with the thinner blue lines. But why are the colors of the second example different in row one compared to row two? It's orange in the first row, but yellow in the second. I prefer the proper fiery orange.

As a logo maker I can say that version with thinner like looks much better because text font and symbols have similar thin lines.

I will add though that maybe adding to the list one more, with orange/red fire and thinner blue lines, would not hurt  ;)

I also agree that thin lines in the text are better.
Now, the colors of the smiles can have the same orange tones, as in the first option.

Thinner looks better.

Um.. What has happened to the 4th guy?  :-[

I also found it strange. Until I managed to notice that the smiley is in profile with his tongue sticking out, as if he were walking at high speed.
But, honestly, I think it wasn't very well designed. I would review this one.

IMO, the thicker lines look better on the emojis, while thinner lines on the text look cleaner.
That can be edited if the graphic artist still has the pdf/svg file or similar with non-rasterized borders and unmerged layers.

Also rather curious why the 2nd has red eyes in v2 and yellow in v2?
But anyhow, the thin blue is better in my opinion!

I don't know the definitive answer to your question, but considering the past campaigns managed by @icopress, the choice of avatars was always greater than the number of active participants. I think the point is that the participants have the opportunity to choose between as many avatars as possible.

It's fine on my PC.  But yeah, on my cell/mobile, it's cutting off the 'business now for FREE' part.  Always a tricky balance to be struck to design stuff to be compatible with different screen resolutions while still looking visually appealing.

That said, the previous one cut off in a similar fashion on mobile devices too.

The problem isn't with the browser you use but it is caused by the zoom level that you are using. The below screenshot is Firefox with different zoom levels. It is the same in Chrome too. Around 165% the text starts breaking.

Perhaps this will change in the future for a better time (when a competitive campaign appears).

The rule for ignoring posts has been updated / Payments for 46 week are on their way. [Exchange rate: 67,200]

If earlier I reserved the right to ignore any post written after page 15, now any post written after page 250 will be ignored by default. The rule for ignored boards remained unchanged (but I published the full list).

Also I decided that we should return to the old color scheme. But if you like the current signature design, you can leave it.

If there is really no problem, I will continue the previous style. I think it's prettier and looks better with the avatar - in my opinion.

And to say that there will be no news in the next 6 months is a long timeline in the world of technology. As long as things at least stay more or less as they are, it will be good.  ;)

I know I'm responding a little late to your post, but I just want to say that counting a post written on page 249 of a thread is megacrazyuber generous on your part.  Shoot, I've always thought if a thread goes on for longer than 15 or so pages, nobody's really doing much reading in it.  Come to think of it, I've always had the suspicion that there's about a 50-to-1 ratio of posting:reading behavior on average, no matter how long a thread goes on for.  That might not affect visibility of a campaign's signature and avatar necessarily, but who knows.

Is it bedtime yet??

Friends, the campaign is likely to be suspended soon, for this you can thank Royce, BitcoinGirl.Club and hugeblack, who have been working hard over the past few days to present Jambler as a mixer that provides services to ordinary users .. which is not true. I mentioned earlier that a few months ago he contacted four of my active clients, and now he has decided to resort to a similar method (and it seems to have worked).

[...] we decided to share it with theymos.

- Will I lose my job? No.
- Have we lost a major sponsor for Bitcoin Pizza Day? Yes.
- Did this user throw you under the bus? Definitely.

In any case, I can assure you that you are like family to me, so I will make sure that you all do not experience any inconvenience.

Each of you will definitely receive the highest paying slot in the campaigns to which you will be transferred. Of course, all changes will also take place automatically, and all you need to do is update your signature when you receive a PM from me.

Excuse me my man! What that F**k is in your mind. I was f**king in the impression that you do not have good IT education but I am wrong. I withdraw some of the assumption I made to the response on the thread in Scam Accusations. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5491818.msg63941794#msg63941794) You have good knowledge about the product you are working with but you were hiding the real facts and successfully convinced all these uninformed forum members who are in the campaign to believe it's not a mixer but a software provide and BullSh**t. 🤬

Quote
with the current situation of the mixer ban, you are to try everything in your power to deny Jambler as a mixer
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5491818.msg63929188#msg63929188
I was absolutely right in my opinion and finally it all connects of why you were questioning my financial status, also why not you were answering simple question that I was asking about Jambler perform the mixing or their partners. Without giving the direct answer of a simple question you are even making yourself a clown by asking about McDonald's and it's license, how long Jambler existed.

- Have we lost a major sponsor for Bitcoin Pizza Day? Yes.
Do you think you are favouring the forum by offering the major sponsor of Pizza Day? You are disgusting. You were thinking you favoured the forum when you allowed Jambler as the sponsor of bitcointalk community award knowing and understanding it is a mixer when mixers were sanctioned by the forum? You were knowingly and intentionally disrespecting the decision theymos made for the forum.

I think the Jambler team need to be punished [perhaps a negative feedback, need a collective agreement but a neutral can be given without thinking much] for scamming the idea of banning mixers on bitcointalk. This is a dishonest nature of a service that offers trust for mixing coins.

In any case, I can assure you that you are like family to me, so I will make sure that you all do not experience any inconvenience.
You do not lie and guide your family with wrong information.

Each of you will definitely receive the highest paying slot in the campaigns to which you will be transferred. Of course, all changes will also take place automatically, and all you need to do is update your signature when you receive a PM from me.
You are suggesting them to trust you again without questioning your shrewd argument. Are you also insulting these members by questioning their ability, they are not worthy of joining any campaign managed by other managers? It sound to me you are planting an auto-suggestion in their mind to be your spokesmen.

You didn't really care about these users, the forum and even your client Jambler. if you would cared for the forum members then you would not reduce the campaign reward when all mixers moved on and Jambler did not have any advertising competitor in the forum. If you would care about your client Jambler team then you would not bring the question mark of [scamming the idea of banning mixer on the forum] now they have. If you would care for the forum then you would not disrespect the idea implemented by theymos. All you cared about is your business and it's advertisement.

You shouldn't have lied on my face. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5491818.msg63916053#msg63916053) I can not remember if I ever told in public domain, my business is IT. If Jambler leaving the forum cause a major affect for the Pizza Day rewards then I am willing to fund $500. Where is the thread and who is responsible for holding the fund? Someone give me the topic link.

That being said, I will be happy, If any of my posts [1], [2] made theymos to correct his decision.

It's been months perhaps year, theymos and I talked to each others which is not public.
You know what doesn't stick to this story? That theymos had no idea how Jambler works; not even seen a single diagram. The way I see it, is that some of you bombarded him with PMs, complaining that it's a mixer and it should be banned.

I don't like questioning the admin's judgment or interest, but a single visit in Jambler would make him draw his recently drawn opinion. He either didn't visit it in December / January, or he did, but thought it didn't quite meet the criteria.

My impression is that he knows that Jambler is not a mixer per se, but, if some can interpret the things and consider it a mixer (of course, some members of the forum do this only because it benefits them, but wouldn't some from outside the forum think the same for the same reasons?), those* who have convinced theymos ban mixers in the first place may think the same. And theymos already "plays on the safe side" related to mixers...

However, it doesn't matter much since, as very well said...

You can't beat the admin.

* This may not accurate, it may be that he just thought in advance to avoid "those" start questioning on the forum, for example. But it doesn't matter that much whether this is accurate or not, the logic stays the same.

No, I did not do that. On the contrary, I was against banning mixing services from day one. You can read my posts on that topic[1]

The allegations are that you knew that Jamambler.io was doing the mixing and not the mixing platform?
Did any of the campaign members have these doubts?

I don't think BitcoinGirl.Club contacted admin if he wanted to ban Jambler he would use PM without posting anything publicly[2].
I think we all trusted @icopress so I personally didn't visit the site F.A.Q until I saw @BitcoinGirl.Club's claims which are true.

[1] Mixers to be banned (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5476162.0)

[2]

In the bold part, I am with you. the ban for mixers [and funny enough that mixers are not completely banned, Jambler is all around the forum.] caused lack of information on Bitcontalk. If the mixer operations were normal like it used to be then we would know about it the moment it was happening. Many topics would be created even on their ann thread there would be a lot of discussion to aware everyone.

Altcoinstalks is still not mature as a forum and not many people even know about that forum. In search engine the forum posts are not ranked as they get rank on bitcointalk.

[...]
Discussing mixers from any angle is not prohibited.

You can even recommend your preferred mixer to others if you want, but you cannot provide a direct link (that leads to the mixer).

Btw, Jamber is not a mixer.

I'll just say that nothing surprises me when it comes to the obvious malice and envy that some forum members have shown publicly (and probably privately) for years when it comes to mixers. I well remember how they "protested" because the participants in the CM campaign had excessive pay rates, up to how they "celebrated" when it was banned - and I have no doubt that some forum members had their share in this with the reports they sent to everyone they could.

And no, I'm not writing any of this for money (I didn't spend a single satoshi from this campaign), but it's unfortunate that some members of the forum are fighting so fiercely against privacy, and it's been proven that mixers were mostly used for this very purpose, and only a small part related to transactions that are disputed.

It's sad to see that the people who should understand such things best are actually working in favor of a system that has been fighting against Bitcoin since its inception.

I did know Jambler did the mixing in the background, if that's what you're asking. However, end-clients use other sites to mix, such as Mixtum, not Jambler per se, and partners don't use Jambler to mix in the first place. So, it doesn't fulfill all the criteria to treat it as a mixer.

I don't think BitcoinGirl.Club contacted admin
BitcoinGirl literally said:
It's been months perhaps year, theymos and I talked to each others which is not public.

I had a feeling that Jambler would be "lumped in" with traditional mixers sooner or later.  Theymos said from the beginning that it was a borderline case.  Honestly didn't expect the campaign to be able to run for long, so this doesn't really come as a shock.  Even if you outsource the actual mixing function to third parties, the end result is largely the same.

It was nice to be able to advocate for privacy for just a little longer, though.

you think he didn't get some sort of low-key sanctions from the government or something? Cus a mixer is more or less one of the ways to ensure a user's privacy... how's that supposed to be disturbing? except the fact that the former would just keep making endeavours to breaking the system's pseudonymity/decentralization.

Personally, I would hide such info from him, supporting the right to privacy and p2p transactions.
He is forced to do some things which he probably doesn't want to do himself and that's fine.

Those that want to make themselves bigger by putting their heads in the big bosses butthole are the ones that are the real problem.
What has to happen in a mind of an individual that makes him do stuff that's counterproductive to the society in general just so they can get some 'me' time is beyond me.

I suggest all of you rattlesnakes to sit in front of the mirror, jerk yourselves off and let the rest of us live in peace.

I suggest all of you rattlesnakes to sit in front of the mirror, jerk yourselves off and let the rest of us live in peace.

They can't because they need someone clapping while they're doing it, and if they don't find someone they need to brag about it, if it's still not helping their ego they need to make somebody else suffer just to finally get to the tipping point. If there is a single person who thinks this is really about jambler and not some personal vendetta then I got like 1001 bridges over the  Great River of Narnia to sell to that guy!

The result of this? Make the few left that still don't see this as a 6 posts per day job quota feel too annoyed by all this shit to care about even one tiny bit and either flee or say bye bye to forums together and leave the forum only with the previously mentioned "posters", guess what will happen when the whole traffic will be copy pasting bot? Yobit, that's what! And now, victorious in vanquishing the competition you realize your prize is lying down next to him! Congratulations!

This is another chapter in BitcoinTalk history that is closing.

In honor of that let me just post this topic (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5246103.0) here to remind us how many signature campaigns have come and gone over the years. There used to be some crazy ones like those offering 0.1BTC which is now worth $6500-$7000 :o, those with no post cap like Yobit (those were dark days!), the token/bounty floods and so on...

The era of mixers and mixer lookalikes seems to be forced-ending too (and I don't mean only their campaigns, yeah the Gov. is closing in)... That's just life... we gotta move on ::)

If Jambler leaving the forum cause a major affect for the Pizza Day rewards then I am willing to fund $500. Where is the thread and who is responsible for holding the fund? Someone give me the topic link.
This is the thread that has been used for the pizza contest during the last years: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5247383.msg54403124#msg54403124

Please write there you're funding the contest with $500, thanks.

Friends, each of you received a PM / Payments for 49 week are on their way. [Exchange rate: 64,000]

Despite the fact that the campaign was suspended at this point, I was able to distribute all participants to other campaigns.

As always, it's a pleasure working with you.

Let me try this... for some reason, I tend to believe that the FOFF is somehow related to a quote which crossed my mind, some words said by Phil Zimmermann... -- "If privacy is outlawed, only outlaws will have privacy".

I will come back with an idea about the abbreviation, if any idea will cross my mind, but I believe it's something related with the quote I mentioned above...

but a single visit in Jambler would make him draw his recently drawn opinion.

That's not exactly true, it's easy to say now simply because you can't unsee what you have seen, but a single visit was never enough for anyone to come to the current realization everyone now has, when the mixer ban took place I personally took a look at jambler, and I even made a post explaining how it was not a mixer per se, if you only visit the main page and you don't do some digging and reading, you would still arrive at the same conclusion and by "you" I mean the average person who isn't looking too deep to find something or that person has no unordinary skills of some sort.

Be it as it may, even looking at the diagram gives the impression that the part on the left which is labeled as a "mixing platform" still looks as if it's only a piece of the code that is sold by Jambler and owned by the "actual mixer", I personally only came to fully understand all the details after having read everything in the FAQ and some of the posts in the other topic.

So I would like to assume that theymos, have probably skimmed through the website in the same way I did, and things looked to him the same they looked to me, I am sure they would look the same to most people who don't know what we already know, your average mixer main page would have "start mixing now" , "set your fees" , " paste your return address", "set your privacy level" with all those sliding buttons and input fields, Jambler on the other hand, all it has on its main page is "create your mixer" and "become a seller" it certainly doesn't look even close to all other mixers I have seen and used.

Fail Only for Fun ?

- Was Jambler doing the mixing in the background? Yes.
- Was Jambler advertising itself as "taking property, improving its privacy somehow, and then returning roughly the same type of property"? No.
- Was that required criterion to classify it a mixer? Yes.

So, according to his precise criteria, it's not a mixer. It's a mixer if we slightly change the criteria, just as Coinbase is a mixer under the appropriate criteria.

Absolutely.

The essence of this abbreviation was that 99% of the participants in this campaign belonged to a crowd that published posts for pleasure and not for payment. Ten years ago, it was with this philosophy that the first signature campaign was launched.

I think theymos didn't want to ban mixers in the first place. But his name in the line... so yeah, he must play by the rules.

He probably knew about jambler situation, it looks to be in a Gray area, and probably thought "ok let it be, I will look at it later"

But when people show him over and over again, he is forced to take a closer look.

I understand theymos position. He has done much more for the freedom of the internet than any of us will ever do.

I would be afraid of a lawsuit of legal problems and all that shit in his position. He also has to protect the forum against those legal problems, not just himself.

Whoever snitched, you (all) are a shame. A hit on privacy and sovereignty just so you can have a few moments of power, revenge, jealousy, whatever may be. You are not a “hero” trying to “save the forum”, you would probably sell out satoshi for the US gov if you had the chance and enough to win, either be because of a personal vendetta or because you would profit with it.

Take a look at the mirror, this is you > 🤡

Let's get a little more complicated.
If Jambler is classified as a mixer and all requests coming from its partners are mixed through the Jambler engine, addresses, it is logical that then Jambler's partners are not mixers, but only some kind of promotional channels.
In that case, partners Mixtum, Webmixer etc... would have to be acceptable here, because they are not mixers and they do not operate coin mixing.

Whoever snitched, you (all) are a shame. A hit on privacy and sovereignty just so you can have a few moments of power, revenge, jealousy, whatever may be. I'd rather blame all of us who casually dropped out of the discussion when theymos announced the new rule. We had to fight for a better compromise then, this case is only a consequence of that.

It's his forum, it's centralized and he does what he wants. My understanding was that he was set on his decision and that there was nothing I could do about. The announcement thread has 50 pages, so I think people fought enough.

BitcoinGirl.Club is absolutely one of the lowest-of-the-low members of this forum.

His modus operandi is that he takes a dislike to you and then goes out of his way to harass again and again. This disgusting person (BitcoinGirl.Club) has once again displayed the reasons why he cannot be trusted or even be liked by others in the conventional sense.

What sort of a deranged low-life would chase admin with the intention of trying to have a campaign removed just out of spite? The answer is BitcoinGirl.Club but let us not forget the name of another low-life egotistic and super-narcissist Royse777 has also been linked.

Even though Royse777 did not have his trust affected over this incident, finally BitcoinGirl.Club has had his trust affected and deservedly so. Of the eight members that currently trust BitcoinGirl.Club, maybe some of them will re-assess their trust when they realise what that low-life has done.

[...] BitcoinGirl.Club [...]who have been working hard over the past few days to present Jambler as a mixer that provides services to ordinary users .. which is not true.
