Tell us what you want to do when you retire and how the country you choose can help you achieve that. There is no other country that I can think of for me to live my old age other than Indonesia, not without reason because the cost of living in my country is very cheap and I have many relatives here and also want to be buried near the graves of my parents in the future, but to find money in our country is quite difficult so I actually really want to work abroad, especially in Australia or Europe where the salary received for my country's current exchange rate is quite high and can make me live my old age without worrying about money. Tell us what you want to do when you retire and how the country you choose can help you achieve that. I live in a third-world country with a wonderful climate and a suitable place for seniors to retire. On the other hand, the economic situation here is somewhat deteriorating, which has caused the value of the local currency to decline against major currencies. These conditions are suitable for any retiree receiving a salary in euros or dollars, enabling them to secure a happy life at a very low price compared to their retirement pension. Imagine that a retiree from Italy, for example, earns between $2,000 and $5,000 per month, while the average salary in my country is less than $500. From this perspective, I will consider the country I would like to retire in, based on the value of my retirement salary. Then I choose a country with a low-value currency compared to my local currency and compare other factors, such as the security situation and the culture of the people. My reasons are that it has universal healthcare that takes care of visiting citizens and permanent citizens. Everyone is treated equally medically and otherwise
My other reasons are Canada has a low cost of living and a low crime rate. Canada is a friendly and welcoming country. It doesn't take time for retirer to build connections and to engage with their community members. That will make my old age to be enjoying and feel more alive, like being loved by everyone. Post by: Ishicryptic on March 29, 2025, 02:53:49 PM I would love to retire and spend my old age in my village, a quiet place sorounded by nature, get a property up the hill where I can have a view of the rich forest, i always feel very relaxed in the midst of friendly folks. But I need money to build my my dream house in my village and not struggle to do hard jobs inorder to survive. So I wouldn't mind traveling outside my country to make more money because the Nigerian economy is hard for the ordinary citizens. My friends who are in Europe, and America, are earning better incomes for doing the same type of work in my country. But wherever I travel to will be to get better opportunities to make more money, after I'm established, me and my wife have planned that we will retire and spend the rest of our lives in my village, she loves the environment.

I laugh when I read your post, Canada is one of country which has a high cost of living and I don't think the crime rate is low. There's no way for immigrants from second or third world countries are hoping to retire in first world countries. It's mostly immigrants work and change their citizenship, then they retire in that country, but they move to cheaper country to enjoy their live. Imagine you retire in first world country and live in third world country. Title: Re: Which country would you like to retire in? Honestly I am tired of living in any city or country, with an unstable economic life makes me unable to think long if retirement still remains there.Rural with the sound of birds in the morning and the view of the eyes of the sunny day and the natural situation is still maintained and the economy of $ 400/ month has become a decent life when retirement arrives, that's my choice, honestly I am not interested in the country tall buildings, I am very happy and enjoy the natural atmosphere far from pollution, free life and moral people, that is my choice when retiring, I think it's better than everything. The best country to retire to, is the country you spent all your youthful life in, because you have the ability to connect with the locals and you might have had friends you built relationship with over the years, so it is not advisable for anybody to want to retire and wish to retire in somewhere else outside the place he or she has spent his youthful life. There is saying in my local parlance that says, "you don't learn how to use your left hand during old age". You cannot go and retire in an estrange land where you have no bearing, that's not a good decision to take when you're at a certain age bracket no matter the economic situation, if you have to leave then leave at a young age.Tell us what you want to do when you retire and how the country you choose can help you achieve that. Chosen the country to retire depends on your level of income or your financial capacity, a person who bearly feed or an average person will never think of going to another country while he has less or no cash. As for me I can only think of retiring in another country if I have my major asset or investment there. But as for now my major asset is in my country so I can't predict where to retire since I still have along way to go, afterall am still young and would have my decision when I am approaching retirement age. When one is going for a retirement, it is as though you’ve accomplished all what you want to achieve in life and just want to finally go and rest and enjoy yourself. Such type of happiness can only be derived from you are living with you family and closed ones and that can only happen if I decide to retire in my country and spend the rest of my retirement days in my country Nigeria. As every country faces economic challenges, it is very hard to see a country free with all the hurdles that will make you dislike spending your retirement time there. So it’s better to chose a country you’re most familiar with and won’t find many problems with the people living with you there. Title: Re: Which country would you like to retire in? Post by: Royal Cap on March 29, 2025, 05:13:14 PM In my opinion, the best country to live in after retirement is your own country, your birthplace, where you were born. If you go to your own village in your old age, you will get a kind of mental peace. It is the happiest to go to your own village and grow your own food and eat more organic food. Where you can spend time with your grandchildren. So I think living in your own village is the happiest.
Title: Re: Which country would you like to retire in? Post by: Victorybit1 on March 29, 2025, 05:50:16 PM I would like to stay in my country because it's the best place to be, even though it's among the most corrupt countries in the world and the economy keeps get worse on a daily basis. Nigeria isn't really suitable for people who are struggling and trying to get on their feet, this is the only reason why people would consider flying out, they go to other countries to seek greener pastures but if you are looking forward to enjoying the money you have worked for Nigeria is the best place to be. I would love to retire in my country and I wouldn't regret doing this.
Title: Re: Which country would you like to retire in? Post by: WatChe on March 29, 2025, 06:28:04 PM In most countries the age of retirement is 60 years or above. At that stage of life we need people around us with whom we can spend time. To me it's best to stay in your native country after you retire from wok. If you want to move from your native country then better move in early age so that you can settle there when you reach your retirement age. There are many aspects which we have to consider before we can answer the question posted by the OP, financial aspect no doubt is the key aspect but not the deciding factor on which we can decide whether to move out or not.

If I were to select a country where I want to retire in, it would depend on a lot of factors. The economy, landscapes, history, and its culture. Religious factors are also very important to me. The country with better Mediterranean climate, beautiful beaches along the coast, I will prefer it. Pakistan is the country that fulfills all my demands to retire in. The cost of living is more affordable than in other European countries because it provides a high quality of life for the retirees without any major issues. If we compare the price values, Pakistan's rupee is more cheaper than Europian Dollar. Medicare facilities are very excellent in Pakistan at reasonable prices. The locals there are very friendly, making it easy for the retirees to adjust. The culture of Pakistan is filled with festivals, historical sites, and yummy food to enjoy. For people who like outdoor activities, Pakistan has the best places for hiking, biking, and exploring nature. In Pakistan, People respect the feelings of every other person, providing a tranquil environment for relaxing retirement. Old age is where we retire, so indeed that having enough fund can be helpful to continue living but I think for many oldies, they can appreciate simple things which is great as this extends their available wealth.I heard it has a lot of organization and protection of your right and liberty, so it will be quiet for an old kind of life style. Not because it's a trendy expat paradise or because of the tax advantages (though, certainly, those help), but because the country's pace fits. It neither stifles you under hidden hierarchies as Japan would nor drives you into forced output like the US. It offers room for genuine bread, unhurried mornings, human interactions, and a culture not entirely cowering to hypercapitalism yet.

For me as an American, I know it's not the USA. I think it's laughable when people say it's the greatest country on earth, especially right now, but I've always felt this way. I really respected independent nations such as Sweden, Norway, Denmark etc, but it seems those types of nations are becoming fewer and farther between. Maybe somewhere like Malta. Somewhere where the government has enough stronghold to make it safe, but not too much to make it a dictatorship or communist nation.

Like what most of my country people do who move out of the country, they take part off their early ages to work in a well developed country, get a good pay, then save up for retirement in the same way they are also investing and reinvesting back in their local country. There should be plans to always live your old age in your own country, people who stay to earn foreign citizenship are those who have given up on their country's economy and want their lineage to live in a developed community.
To answer your question, my country is a good place to live after retirement. I fancy Nigeria, the foods and culture, freedom at some stages where you don't get taxed compared to a developed country. Tell us what you want to do when you retire and how the country you choose can help you achieve that. Currently, many countries are experiencing quite difficult economic conditions, causing uncertainty for the economy in the country. Moreover, currently in the country where I live, namely Indonesia, the prices of basic necessities are increasing while the minimum wage has not increased, causing an imbalance between income and expenses and not a few of them have to find additional income in order to meet their daily needs and also their families. And just for information, my country, Indonesia, is included in the list of countries with the lowest minimum wages in the world. On the other hand, the difficulty of finding work is also one of the things that makes people increasingly wonder about the economic conditions of the country which are increasingly on the verge of uncertainty. so that currently in my country there is a phenomenon of "Just Running Away" where young people prefer to work abroad, even they want to settle there. A rather unfortunate thing because young people should be able to contribute to the progress of the country's economy, because they are not properly accommodated and not facilitated, finally these talents run to other countries, and even not a few young talents from Indonesia who contribute greatly to the progress of development and innovation in other countries. That's just a story about what happened in my country, some young people choose to work and even settle in other countries, while for me personally, if I have the opportunity I want to work in another country, but regarding retirement I will be in the place where I was born, the reason is maybe I love my homeland too much even though the government doesn't care about its people. First world = good health care and better services, plus retirement benefits. Third world = cheaper things, but not all of them give the best service, so you have to pay them still. But with compensation and retirement, I think it's still affordable. I'm not sure yet where I should retire. What I am thinking now is to save for my retirement and I'll just think of it if I have sufficient funds for doing that. But until, I'll just keep doing what I've used to do or else, I should retire where I wanna die. Title: Re: Which country would you like to retire in? Post by: Negotiation on March 30, 2025, 02:59:19 AM Before choosing a country for retirement you should consider your financial situation preferences and needs. Some countries have a low cost of living which can be a comfortable retirement also good healthcare is very important in retirement. A warm and pleasant climate a safe and peaceful environment are essential for retirement also there should be various facilities for enjoyment and entertainment in retirement. I want to spend my leisure time in my own village home there is nothing like spending leisure time with my family.

Post by: ancafe on March 30, 2025, 04:34:16 AM Given that almost every country has economic challenges, I’d like to hear your personal opinions, where do you think is the best country to retire in? It's better to prepare ourselves retirement in our own country because we understand much better environmental conditions than looking for other countries. Concerns about the economy are challenges that we must prepare because to live a comfortable life when retiring must be well prepared. Retirement in other countries is not as easy as you imagine because we need to take care of a residence permit and not all countries accept new people because there are conditions given.Tell us what you want to do when you retire and how the country you choose can help you achieve that. The country we choose cannot help achieve comfortable retirement because it has nothing to do, but how we can prepare it ourselves before the retirement arrives. If you are diligent in saving, investing and building a business, retirement in your own country is a much more ideal choice. Title: Re: Which country would you like to retire in? Post by: Iranus on March 30, 2025, 05:22:05 AM .. not without reason because the cost of living in my country is very cheap and I have many relatives here and also want to be buried near the graves of my parents in the future, ... Many people will immediately think of or wish to live and retire in countries that are ranked as the most livable in the world such as having a large economy, pleasant climate...But like you, wherever my family and loved ones are, that's where I want to retire and enjoy my old age. It would be very boring and lonely to live in a place without loved ones around, even if it is a luxurious life. In addition, finance is also an important factor, how can we enjoy old age comfortably without having many assets? So, take advantage of your youth to build your career and accumulate assets, things that should be prioritized instead of thinking about things in the distant future like retirement. Tell us what you want to do when you retire and how the country you choose can help you achieve that. I don't have a fixed country yet in my mind but I'll love to retire in a country that cares about their environment and don't pollute it like how most of the big cities around the world are getting polluted everyday. I won't want to spend my retirement days inhaling harmful air. Netherlands is one of the countries in the world that has less car pollution because of their culture of making use of bicycles and this also help them stay healthier as they keep on doing exercise regularly when they're riding their bicycle. I don't know if they're friendly to Bitcoin but I haven't heard anything that bad about the regulation of cryptocurrency from that country. Why I just love them is because they're friendly and also eco friendly too. Every country has their different economy challenges hence I won't consider that before deciding where to retire if I had the opportunity and finance to choose. Those are 2 most important things for me when I do think about this.
Iceland is the safest country in the world in this year. So maybe I would like to retire there. But it does not have best healthcare those are countries in Europe like Switzerland, Ireland, Ireland, and Germany. Title: Re: Which country would you like to retire in? Chosen the country to retire depends on your level of income or your financial capacity, a person who bearly feed or an average person will never think of going to another country while he has less or no cash. As for me I can only think of retiring in another country if I have my major asset or investment there. But as for now my major asset is in my country so I can't predict where to retire since I still have along way to go, afterall am still young and would have my decision when I am approaching retirement age. You most times we talk things out of excitement but when nature hit us we change our focus so like I said till then.Tell us what you want to do when you retire and how the country you choose can help you achieve that. Everyone's retirement plan suitable for them and mind you retirement isn't some sort of vacation idea. However, when chasing your retirement plan,There're financial considerations to pen down, for example tax free countries and the cost of living and your individual needs and goals shouldn't be left behind because that's the major purpose of the relocation entirely. I hate to see some people feeling like when it comes to their retirement goals and plans, they have it all figured out,it's better to consult a financial advisor to get personalized retirement planning guidance and clever strategies. If I may choose or I really have to choose one country then I will choose countries like Iceland, Switzerland, Norway, Netherlands, Japan and Germany. Yes all my choices are European countries, except Japan. I think when it's time to retire then all I'm looking for is peace and quiet. Spending time with my closest people and family in a country that has a good governance system and people with good ethics is my dream and maybe everyone's dream. There's just something charming about living here - the slower pace of life in some spots, the beautiful coastline and gorgeous beaches, the generally good weather... I agree with your view because we should work hard when we are young so that when we enter old age we can live much more peacefully by resting our soul and body. Life in old age will be much more difficult when we are not well prepared in our youth and much easier when we spend our old age in our hometown. We can enjoy a much more peaceful life in our hometown by following the customs and traditions there. All my youthful exuberance I spent in a strange land hustling for money; I can't remain or go to another country to relax when I know my hometown is still another place for someone to rest in their old age. Talking about what we would like is equivalent to dreams, the executors of which we must fulfill. But there is a good opportunity to prepare for this period of life, by competently managing your knowledge and possibilities at a young age. While people are young, they should not live carefree, as if they will always be young. It is necessary to think about the future, building your own business, which in old age could be a good safety cushion. Passive income or investment is the very first and easiest option for starting to build your old age independent of loved ones.

Japan and Canada are just a personal choice, just really like them. Might change my mind once I visit them next year or so but for now, they're on the list.Considering the costs, thoug,h and my annual income I'd probably just go to Japan and choose somewhere barren to live. I've read some stories where they don't really treat you like a neighbor when you're a foreigner, more often like a visitor instead so I'd just much rather live alone and as little social interaction. I think what is very important for retirement is the plans we've made before time and if you're an individual that has planned properly for your retirement time you must have considered the economy and have made plans towards it setting up investments that would sustain you in this time. Most of people wouldn't really go and die in other countries but just be a tourist. Expats are required to go back to their country if they ever are retired. I am still considering retiring in the country where I was born because it is a home that makes it easy for us to live in peace in old age. Depending on other people's countries is not a wise choice because we never understand the situation there so it is better to retire in our own country. What we need to prepare is how old age will be better and we don't need to work anymore because at that age we certainly enjoy life more with simplicity. If today is not prepared well then it will be much more difficult when we are old and maybe limited energy encourages us to stop working. Without preparation old age will be much bleaker and starting today we need to prepare well before the time comes. Title: Re: Which country would you like to retire in? Good question!Tell us what you want to do when you retire and how the country you choose can help you achieve that. Well, at times, it's not about the economic challenges of the country but what they can offer you and what you've already achieved before retirement. For example, if you have worked in the US and have made a lot of money, staying in the US may be off because of the high standard of living. If you move to a country where you love the weather, the rule of law is good and their currency is worthless against the USD, you would enjoy your retirement and spend less to enjoy more unlike believing you can stay in the countries where the economy is so good but the purchasing power of your currency is weak. I don't want to depend on that, so I invest in private pension plans, stocks that pay dividends and other assets that can generate income in the future.
When it finally happens, I want to be able to travel, get to know my country better (we have incredible places here to visit), and other countries too. Spend more time with my wife and my daughters (they are growing up and will soon go to college, get married, and move on with their lives), away from the daily rush, to be able to truly rest! I think anyone who lives in a country where there is safety, freedom, less crime, economy is good, all the facilities are available, and they have a home of their own, they would obviously not want to migrate to another country after retirement to live a peaceful life because that is basically what you want after you retire; live your life your way, without any issues and problems, and stay peaceful until you leave the world. However, if things are opposite of what I just said above, you live in a country where there is a lack of employment, proper medical and educational facilities are nowhere to be found, crime rate is too high, and on top of everything, there is high inflation which would suck your blood over time unless you are very rich. If that's the case, you would definitely want to go to a country where you won't have to deal with all these problems. Title: Re: Which country would you like to retire in? Post by: AirtelBuzz on April 04, 2025, 05:01:50 AM I think many people might want to put developed countries on their list of favorites for leisure time, but I would have different opinions on them. In fact retirement is basically our old age, and if we don't find peace of mind during that time, it may not be a happy time for us. So perhaps everyone should spend that important time where it is easiest to find peace of mind. Even though my country is facing economic challenges, I find peace in this country because it is my beloved homeland. Perhaps everyone must accept the truth that one cannot find mental peace anywhere other than the place of one's birth, that is, the place where one grew up as a child.

Given that there are tons of places you can settle in, especially in the provinces, to lower your cost of living, there are also tons of people here that will treat you as if you're family and would always check on you even if you're just randomly walking to exercise or buying something. There literally is no other perfect place to retire for me than here.
My retirement plan is also pretty simple: invest in crypto, UITFs, MP2 (government-backed investment), and gold until my 60s. Sell some of these investments for my own enjoyment and leave the rest to my kids (if I will have any). The cost of living in the Philippines is extremely cheap even if you're renting your house. It will be a lot cheaper if you managed to own the house as it eliminates the need to pay for rent--you only have to pay for taxes and maintenance, which is not a monthly-recurring theme anyway, and you will have no problems with dealing with a landlord. Hopefully my investments perform well to be able to attain the retirement life I envision myself in. It's hard to grow old without funds and without a home to call your own. Post by: Republikcoin.com on April 04, 2025, 10:37:35 AM Given that almost every country has economic challenges, I’d like to hear your personal opinions, where do you think is the best country to retire in? Quite an interesting question, and from me personally I would actually prefer to live in Dubai but since the country is too far for me to reach, maybe I should choose a slightly closer one like Singapore. Because in the two countries I mentioned, the environmental conditions and the prosperity of the people there are really visible so that everyone can feel the comfort. But everyone who lives in a developed country like that must also have an extraordinary income so that the luxury there can be enjoyed more perfectly.Tell us what you want to do when you retire and how the country you choose can help you achieve that. Post by: Dailyscript on April 04, 2025, 10:59:37 AM Given that almost every country has economic challenges, I’d like to hear your personal opinions, where do you think is the best country to retire in? Good question!Tell us what you want to do when you retire and how the country you choose can help you achieve that. Well, at times, it's not about the economic challenges of the country but what they can offer you and what you've already achieved before retirement. For example, if you have worked in the US and have made a lot of money, staying in the US may be off because of the high standard of living. If you move to a country where you love the weather, the rule of law is good and their currency is worthless against the USD, you would enjoy your retirement and spend less to enjoy more unlike believing you can stay in the countries where the economy is so good but the purchasing power of your currency is weak. This means, the most suitable place for me to retire will be a country that prioritize future advancement in mind. Countries like Russia, USA, Germany and China. I will also prefer Japan too. Title: Re: Which country would you like to retire in? Post by: Yucky on April 04, 2025, 03:35:22 PM Well I'm yet to travel and see the world at large but at least I read news and I keep up on information of different location and country. while my country is going through economic downtime and bad governance, I figured all you need is money and you will be very okay at retirement age. What I'm working towards is having enough money and investment to take care of myself. I could literally be in a very nice part of the country where I don't have to go to the busy parts on daily or weekly basis and be ok. my country is okay to retire, all I pray is before retirement the country will be in a better state.
Title: Re: Which country would you like to retire in? Post by: Zanab247 on April 05, 2025, 11:07:44 AM I will prefer to retire in my country, because there are many minerals resources you will invest your money and your generation will never lack money. Why I said Nigerian is the best country to retire, you can use small amount of money to build or establish a good firm that will be bringing money into your account and you will spend less in raw materials, compare to other countries you will be importing some raw materials that will cost you big amount of money.
If you are talking about taxes in companies in the country, Nigerian taxes is among the lowest taxes in the world and is helping some companies owner in the country to establish more companies in the country. Title: Re: Which country would you like to retire in? Post by: freedomgo on April 05, 2025, 11:31:36 AM I suppose many of us would prefer to retire in our home country, which is great, as it shows loyalty to where we came from. However, there’s no denying the appeal for those living in wealthier nations who stand to earn substantial retirement funds. For them, moving to a place with a lower cost of living makes sense, as it stretches the value of their money further. The Philippines is one country I’d recommend for this, though of course, it has its downsides. like healthcare and hospitalization costs, among other concerns. Still, for anyone looking to multiply their money’s purchasing power by 50x, retiring here could be very tempting.

I know every country is passing through economy difficulties but as for me I'll like to retire in the United States because I think United state is among the country's that had a good retirement settlement for retirees compare to most countries, expecially developing countries. Buy one of the most important thing to know, even as a retiree if you like found yourself in the best country if you don't have plans on why yo do with your life after retirement you may still end up becoming nothing even with the settlement you are being given. Before choosing the country i will like to retire in, let me start by the way of analyzing on my reasons why i cant go or settle for some countries despite their development, because life is not about being recognized and well developed, we also have to consider having peace of mind when we are living in it. UK would have been my preferred country, but increased tax payment will not allow me to consider them, US would have been my second country to have in mind, but the rate in crime and social violence is high and security level is not too perfect with gangsters using guns in US, now i will prefer Canada, despite the cold, i still see it as more economical to live there and thrive from the remote regions down to the developed cities. I used to love the idea of moving out to a new country probably to retire and just enjoy the fruits of my labour but as I started getting more mature I realized that there's no place like home. My country is the best place to be when you are successful. People who are currently in the country and saying that it's a boring place obviously are not rich people. Going to other countries for me should just be for vacation purposes but retiring in my country when you are already successful is the best. 'm only interested in working abroad for some years and come back to my country to retire. Title: Re: Which country would you like to retire in? To me Spain, Portugal or Italy all seem like they have the right pace of life and enjoyable climate. The people are kind and they have a nice selection of Mediterranean foods. The idea of being able to go out and pick some fresh oranges off the trees in the morning is quite appealing. Having a nice amount of sunshine most of the year, compared to colder places further north is a bonus. Being able to swim in warm seas and visit beaches packed with beautiful women is another positive. I've found that these are the best places in Europe, but it really comes down to personal preference because I know some people love colder countries. This is a really trick question because I don't really have any place in mind but one thing am sure is that if am given the opportunity at an old age I think a serene environment would be my place of choice and one of the place I would like to go is the country like Norway or Greenland where there is more green. At an old age what will come to mind is always a place to rest and no much disturbing like the worries of the world issues. Title: Re: Which country would you like to retire in? Post by: bitzizzix on April 05, 2025, 06:34:56 PM In my opinion, it is better to enjoy retirement in your own country than in a foreign country which of course requires more money that can be used for better things such as investing or starting a business that can generate money to be enjoyed in retirement or old age.
I personally want to enjoy retirement in my own country and live in the birthplace of my grandmother or grandfather, namely in the countryside. Because it is much quieter there because it is still mountainous and free from pollution because I like green areas that are still natural and I can farm for my activities in old age because coincidentally my grandfather and grandmother still have land for farming and both are native residents of the area, the only difference is the road to get to their house. And I think almost everyone will enjoy retirement in their respective places and the reason is because old age is very susceptible to disease or negative things that there should be people around us who know us such as children, siblings or other people who can help us when we need it or something happens that really needs to be helped by others. Why am saying this is because there's no country that's actually better economically, every country is facing some challenges and so no where is really rosy. And as a retiree you don't necessarily have to live in cities or country that's expensive to live. Title: Re: Which country would you like to retire in? The only comfortable way to live on another country for retirement is to become rich first and then you can live lavishly spending all your remaining money for your retirement. if it's just another retirement with ordinary amount of savings, I'd definitely prefer to stay in my country of origin, at least we know better the way to survive. However, if i were forced to live in another country for retirement then I'd prefer a place where the society is more laid back and everything is cheap. Post by: jcojci on April 08, 2025, 03:24:28 AM I want to retire in my country. The cost of living here is not too high so I can still earn money and survive. So that will be a good choice for me to stay here and earn more for my retirement plan.
I want to buy a land if I have much money and fill that with fruits and vegetables so I don't have to buy them in the store. That will help me to save money because the primary needs may increase anytime. Besides that, I want to have a food store with various menus with a cheap price so all people can also buy without spending much money. Title: Re: Which country would you like to retire in? I like to see the mountains in there as part of my daily living. The climate is fine and not exhausting at all. But my problem there is the cost of living, I know that some country side of it could cost less but being someone that doesn't have the luxury, maybe it's just going to be a dream and plan that will never happen to me. While people from there are looking for a more affordable and cheaper place to retire in, some folks want to move there.
Title: Re: Which country would you like to retire in? Post by: ultrloa on April 08, 2025, 10:48:49 PM I don't actually have plans to retire with Bitcoin since I think I continue to participate on any investment and other activities with it even if I'm old or in retirement age. I think there's nothing much to do at that stage since we are not capable to do physical works anymore. And want to continue to exercise my brain through doing research on many things like current events or happening about Bitcoin.
For me perfect location for that is mountain provinces which away from pollution and other stressful environment, also as long as internet is accessible then everything is fine with me on that set up. I also don't want to retire overseas since I want to be alone and also can be access immediately with my family if there's emergency situation happened. What I really hope here is we could still see Bitcoin to last for more decades since for sure all of us early adopters would benefit this.
