Actually this is the third thread.  The first one was a completely failed launch https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=560831.0.  The second thread that you referenced shows another botched launch that allowed for a huge instamine because the difficulty wasn't adjusting and was stuck at .1 and then .4 for the first 10,000 blocks and the dev didn't know how to fix it.

The only reason that I can think of to start a new thread is so that the second thread showing all the issues the coin had in launching and the huge instamine gets buried.

Then there were the posts by the dev that has since changed their moniker from carsen to hash11x where he made physical threats against me in a PM that I shared.

So yes, this is the third ANN for the same coin.

Yes, just one that I can now update the OP due to bitcointalk banning my main account for posting a HASH giveaway I believe, an investor had gave me the heads up but I was too late to delete the post, sent in an appeal and have been waiting 48 hours now and still no reply.

So new thread that I can keep updated as developers add mining pools, exchanges, dice sites, faucets, and other HASH related projects.

If Darkcoin does allow public access to the source code of Darksend then yes we will most likely implement it, I have no details on the ETA of this as of yet.

For how long was the difficulty of this coin stuck at .1 diff?  How long at .4 diff?

How many coins were instamined in the first few hours?  How many coins were mined because of the low difficulty that wouldn't adjust in the first few hours? What percentage of the coin ended up in the hands of just a few miners?  Whether you intended it or not.  This coin has the biggest instamine I have ever seen.

Look at Dogecoin, Litecoin, Hirocoin, and every other coin besides Bitcoin, they are all copied from Bitcoin's original source. What makes my coin any different? My coin is actually one of a kind currently, Hashcoin has automatic checkpointing which Darkcoin does not, It also has random block rewards and a higher count of coins available than other coins of X11. X11 is the new hashing standard and will be in the future when Sha256 and Scrypt become outdated. There is even a post on Dogecoin thinking about switching to X11, all they would be doing is copying Darkcoins source as well...The purpose of github is for open source; meaning for all to view, use, modify, and create new innovations from. Hashcoin is not just a copy paste coin like Dogecoin, Feathercoin, etc.

Wow, there are a lot of mining pools stacked up already. I've never mined an X11 coin. So it looks as if the regular CGMiner will not work for the X11 algo, is that correct?

Well,l the dev of this coin has the same negative trust rating as I do so what does that say?

And for the record, I've never traded or exchanged anything with anyone on this forum.  There are people that are upset that I stopped their ipo that just want revenge so they spread lies about me.  I don't care what my trust rating is since I have no desire to engage in any transactions with anyone.

Edit:  And by the way, I was there when the instamining was going on and setup a miner and got a good chunk of that hashcoin instamine.  I'll give you some if you ask nicely.  I don't think it's going anywhere due to the large amount that started to get dumped just hours after this coin was launched.

Hmm, OK.  But there seems to be some truth to what he was posting.  I was thinking of mining but I read all that stuff and when I checked the block explorer is shows almost 4 million coins mined out of a total of 44 million.  That's a lot of coins in five days. Almost ten percent.  And then when I look at the exchanges they're loaded with coins and no buying activity.

Yep that is expected of any new coin...lots of miners get coins early on if they are top of it. A lot of the exchanges are loaded but at higher values for when HASH does reach that buy/sell point. Trading activity is still way too early to judge the coin because of it, we are only on four smaller exchanges. Also the 4 million coins that are mined are from current/past miners that had a good amount of hashrate and got in early, there is still over 40,000,000 coins left, which is still far more than what Darkcoin will ever produce (22 million)....So I wouldn't come to such harsh conclusions this early in its life.

Fair enough about the exchanges.  It does take time for many coins to start trading at any significant volume.  My concern was regarding the coins already mined.  10% mined in five days is still alot.  That's going to effect the price for a long time.  Maybe I'll just buy some at 0.00000260 and hold on to them for awhile just in case.

If you want an idea of what to compare the HashCoin insta-mine to look at HiroCoin. Hiro is also an X11 coin with a large insta-mine. 6M coins out of a total of 672M were insta-mined in the first 15,000 blocks set at an intentionally low diff, way more than 10% of the total initial supply of coins during the first week of mining. The difference is Hiro was ninja launched with no prior announcent at 2:00 AM Eastern US time/ 7:00 AM Europe time, resulting in those that new about the launch ahead of time and the few that happened to be there at launch to be able to accumulate an obscene amount of coins. In contrast HashCoin was fairly launched with a pre-announcement so everyone could participate.

Fair launch or not.  10% of total coins in five days is a problem that will stay with this coin for a long time.  That's just too many coins that fast.  It would be different if this coin had a high number of total coins but at 44,000,000 total coins the amount of coins in circulation is too much too fast.  It dilutes the value.  And since the coin is still easy to mine I assume that's what anyone wanting the coin is doing.  No need to buy on an exchange when its so easy to mine. 

I wish you all luck with this coin but I can't find a path to any kind of rise in price anytime soon.  If anything the price will drop as more people try and dump coins they recently mined or those holding tens of thousands that are waiting for the price to rise lose patience and dump them for whatever they can.

scam_exposer is an obvious prick but there was some truth to what he was ranting about regarding this coin.

You couldn't even figure out how to put in DGW without a major fuck up. Darksend is likely to be 100x as complicated, I wouldn't trust a copy paste "dev" such as yourself to put it in there.

That wouldn't be "expected" if you didn't screw up DGW. Vertcoin has 84 million and they had an actual fair launch with way more hashpower than you did and how many coins do they have a few MONTHS after launch? not even 3.5 million right now, good job on the "fair" launch though.

It's pretty much spot on (with a slight hateful tone). There's really no reason to waste any hashing power on such a failed launch. As soon as the price goes up even a bit, people will dump this coin.

x2 scam_exposer is the only poster that actually calls out pump and dump/IPO scam devs. Every time he turned out to be right and the devs mysteriously disappear.

I'm going to have to agree with you.  After looking into scam_exposers claims I have come to the conclusion that they were for the most part correct.  There is no way that this coin has any future with the huge instamine that the dev wants everyone to just overlook.  Answering legitimate questions with "lol" is not acceptable.  This isn't some game.  At least not to me.  That attitude alone is a red flag.

Darkcoin had the same difficulty issues in the beginning but the dev was able to fix it.  There was still a significant amount of coins mined that people are complaining about today.  The only reason Darkcoin is able to ride out the storm is because of Evan Duffield the full time developer and creator of DGW and Darksend.  People know he's a competent developer not a copycat.  This coin has nothing and is just waiting to copy Evan Duffields work.

Okay the amount of hate here actually pisses me off, because I work just as hard as any other coin developer on these trash-talking forums. Hashcoin isnt just a copy paste from Darkcoin, if it is was the simple to make coins there would be a lot more than 230+ coins...Hashcoin utilizes several top of the line features from different coins not just Darkcoin, Also I am not sure why the random guy above is ranting about DGW being broken? DGW V2 was implemented from the start and has worked just fine, The only reason a fix was released was to patch up any possible bugs after block 34,000...I am not a scammer or whatever you guys have all these nicknames for. I have been into crypto since Bitcoin was $5.00 USD a coin. I am a developer, I might not have a degree like Evan or other devs, but I still know what I am doing and how to fix/add new solutions. The coin isn't just waiting to copy Darkcoin's work either, this coin is already stable enough to be left alone forever, but the whole reason Darkcoin was mainly created was for DarkSend (Anonymous Transactions), which wouldn't be a bad idea to add to Hashcoin, and no it wouldn't be very complex to integrate either. X11 and Darksend are the future of cryptos, so why do you think Hashcoin would sit back and let itself become outdated? Well its not, It will continue to progress forward.

I talked a lot of shit to scam_exposer, because for one it was my first time being on these forums in a long time with my first coin release, I then saw him trolling the hell out of my threads. I am not some pussy highschooler, so yes I threatened and told him what the hell was up, because it seemed to be representing this forum in a whole and obviously needed to be put in his place as he does not know me, I do not know him, he didn't even try to give this coin a chance, hes flamed it from the beginning like a little troll. No respect for him or anything he has to say, he obviously does need a good smacking around to learn not to talk to people that way. Most people talk shit on the internet, but keep it at reddit or facebook, not on a forum that should be professional and liable to each other.

I feel like there is so much hate on Hashcoin because I created something you all couldn't and you are mad that I have the ability to create something from nothing and it actually works. The people that are whining are most likely people that came late with big miners and can no longer instamine, or users that would rather hurt the community in general than help by making false accusations and trying to deface other peoples work. On and I live in America, so as a professional, or as a coin developer. I really don't have to follow any rules, so unlike other developers if you talk shit, you will get shit back. Dev, I think you are right about big hashers being late to the party. I mined from the start with one 6850, that gives me 1m in X11. Found about 30k coins. I know a lot of blocks were found during first 3-4 hours, but was this instamine? I don't think so, this was one of the best ninja lunches where small hashers had a chance. I do feel sorry for $10k rig farmers. Their equipment costs as much as a car and they are forced to pick crumbles now . Of cause they are pissed. Please don't forget that coin concentrated in hands of the few is worth nothing. Just ignore these insults, true followers are just quietly mining. I am one of those.

I'm not a big hasher.  I was going to mine this coin, looked at the ANN, asked about some issues that were raised, and ended up getting an immature rant as a reply.

You might have 30k coins good for you.  Nobody wants to but them so you have no other choice but to hold onto them.  It's obvious that all the cheerleaders are the people that instamined this coin.  You want to believe that the coins that you are holding are going to make you some money.  So do the holders of those other 4 million coins that nobody wants to buy.

Just 2 things:
- I would prefer the power of 11 in violet like somebody else made in his sample... just because 11 is not a part of the name of the coin but it indicates the algo...
- I didn't ustand why the blades r different... With no prospective they should be all the same... I think the best one in proportion and shape is the one on the top in the center (time 12)... I'd replicate this blade in the other 10 positions...
For the rest it's perfect and very POWERFUL!!!

Yes Allcoin.com seems to have very quick professional support regarding any trades/accounts, they have a fairly large list of coins as well including popular ones. So far I love their exchange it works very smoothly..

Compare it with so many other scam coins with large premines, this coin is an angel with no premine and all the unique features combined into one, a talented dev (which is rare for most coins) and only 44 million total supply.

Last but not the least, hashcoin is a great name :) The coin will go up and up.

Yea your not going to buy this coin because you are extremely uneducated about Hashcoin's history, I would rather have serious investors who know what they are talking about and do their actual research or come to me for answers. This coin was not instamined and it was not premined.

P.S. - We had a huge datacenter outage yesterday due to a Dell Engineer changing the MTU settings on the server causing global network outage. Our host has fixed the issue that Dell presented and the server is backup and running as it should. This was for our http://www.hashcoin.me site, the site is running great again and we are backup, just in-case those that visited when it was down...It is now up ;)

Total supply ever will be 44 million. Its a pretty good coin with all the innovative features. I'd say atleast 10 cents per Hashcoin is a reasonable target.

Thnk it was because it was launched first with a different algo and had some issues.... read something about it in the first few pages, with links to the failed launch and stuff, where a lot of people got a lot of coins  before the issue was fixed. So im guessing people are abandoning ship because there's going to be an eventual dump once it hits better exchanges and nobody want to be the whale food that makes the prices go up at their expense. No other hyped up x11 coin released recently to justify for the drop in hash rate.

About a million coins were already bought up on Allcoin in the last couple of days. The initial mine was nowhere as bad as people who are missing out on mining the coin now try to make it believe.

That is entirely not true. The algorithm of Hashcoin has never changed, it has always been X11. The very very first launch wasen't really a launch because I didn't test the genesisblock and it wasen't created. So once I created the testnet genesis block and genesis block I released it as a ninja launch, it went great! Got a lot of support from smaller miners saying they were able to get a fair amount of HASH. This prevented the big miners from bombarding the coin in its early stages, even though we have KGW, DGW, and DGW V2 (which make this coin even stronger). This coin is just not hyped as much as others, because I feel that is completely entirely unnecessary, this coin will speak for itself. People will follow, when they realize Hashcoin is a very stable, secure, and in general a badass coin. The hashrate may have dropped, but because of the low hashrate right now, smaller miners can still get in and get to mining some HASH! :)

Yes! I do also have faith Hashcoin will reach 0.00015 if not much higher, once we hit the bigger exchanges. The current trading price on Allcoin is still very low, but I do believe investors feel the same as many coins are be snatched up at the ridiculously low price right now.

A coin without any new features is not going to "speak for itself". It needs the hype and promotion. If what you're saying is true, well written quality movies should outperform Michael Bay movies at the box office.

right now we have a hype. Someone is buying up hashcoin. Hashcoin low point in 7 days was around 100 satoshi and high point in 7 days at around 700 satoshi. It went up by 700%. And i believe it will continue to go up. Why ? Its all about hype, someone buying up coins and coin supply per day is very low and hashcoin is not even listed on a bigger exchange. We have a perfect storm here.

If this is done. I am sure more people will buy hashcoin because it will show value increase by 700% on the chart and we got more hype.

Of course people are going to hold Hashcoin right now or buy, because it is selling way lower than what it should, there is a max of 44,000,000 coins, not billions.

As gpuminer stated it has had a 700% increase within a week. You don't see many other coins doing that. Hashcoin is going to be here whether or not you want to sit here and flame it and troll saying it was instamined. Because it flat out wasen't. It had a ninja launch that was a great success. Your false accusations are not going to hurt this coin at all. People may dump some coins here and there, but there will always be people to buy just as many. There is a buyer on Allcoin that purchased almost a million (he is obviously smart for doing so, because im sure he knows this coin will not fail and is going to go great places). Which as the developer I can say is true. I am pouring my time, my effort, my heart, and my life into this coin. It will work.

Hashcoin was indeed instamined. I had managed to mine a total of 760,000 coins in the first 18 hours post release with a mere ~5 mhash and very low network latency. Currently the network hash rate dwindles at ~60 mhash rate with a small block reward of 25 HASH whereas the block reward was 100+ HASH one day after launch. The only garnered demand thus far is the result of speculative investing with relatively little support from the mining community. Hash coin won't succeed without features of unique innovation as it is competing against numerous other undifferentiated x11 Algorithm clone coins.

There was no instamine. You make it look like something tragic happened with the coin when it is just that you are upset that you missed on the recent 700% increase. The price is still pretty low. Its a good idea to get yourself some hashcoin.

Lots of arguing about opinions (one person's idea of an instamine is different from another person's; one person's opinion about difficulty adjustment fairness is different from another person's).

So to help stop all this arguing, I've put together some charts that help visualise the FACTs. Hopefully this might help some people decide if they want to invest in HASH, and want to mine HASH.

Short notes to help explain:
 - Block subsidy formula changed at block 5465, reducing the average subsidy from from 440/block to 148/block
 - Block subsidy formula changed at block 24000, reducing the subsidy to an effectively fixed 25/block (reduces further if difficulty exceeds 83)
 - As there were a large number of blocks generated per hour in the first few hours (when block subsidy was at its highest) compared to the rest of the time, I've shown the charts against both time and block number

A lot of coins including worldcoin, mincoin, earthcoin, even bitcoin and many others have had huge advantages for early miners. Infact, most coins have. If certain people took the risk to mine a new coin in the beginning, you shouldn't be upset about that because you could do the same. I see nothing unfair as far as hashcoin is concerned.

But yes, if there was a premine and anything unfair such as with maxcoin where it was claimed to be a cpu coin but it later turned out to be not one, dropped more than 2000% in value even with a hard fork to halve block value, then you can scream scam. If you want to see fairness, you would like hashcoin and go point out the problems in the other scams as mentioned above.

Hashcoin price is still very cheap and quite fair for the amount of coins that were mined. It is rising because of a well qualified developer and good coin specs. There has been no false hype because the developer is not interested in a pump and dump operation. It has a large upside potential and it will happen.

To be fair, I'll disclose that I own a decent chunk of coins which I purchased (not mined). I invested in the coin because
1) The coin specs are awesome
2) The developer is brilliant!
3) It is a bargain at this price
4) Nice alternative to anoncoin, hirocoin and even darkcoin

My wallet is syncing just fine, the blockchain site is also syncing just fine, it looks like several pools that were hosting hashcoin have went down such as tales from the scrypt and okaypool....Mining pool operators please contact me for a 100 HASH bounty for new mining pools.

It looks like a majority of the hashrate is on maxminers pool. We need some more hashpower spread across the network like at the p2pools. Give me sometime to come up with a fix if the coin does not fix itself.

Very interesting that the difficulty spiked up to that insane amount of 967...wtf....I don't see how the diff. could have shot up the high unless the network had a rediculous amount of hashpower, even then the diff. should readjust every block, but since we have not found a new block it hasen't readjusted. I am working on a fix now, Hashcoin is not dead, expect an update in a couple hours or later tonight depending on how much trouble this gives me. I think I already found a fix, so hopefully it works :)

I am just very curious to know why the diff. is that high, that definitely explains why no new block has been found. I will also contact altmine, to make sure what version of the wallet they are running as well.

UPDATE: THIS DIFFICULTY IS AN ERROR WITH THE P2POOLS. I am in contact with the pool operator trying to figure out what is going on. Thanks for your patience guys.

Why should the problem come from the p2pool ?
I run the http://p2poolcoin.com:6356 (http://p2poolcoin.com:6356) and after comparing the code, it's exactly the same code as a darkcoin pool (X11 too).
The only thing that is weird, it's last time i have check, the network was far away from 69Gh/s, this is very big !!!

Maybe a auto switch pool special X11 has raped this coin ? (does a such pool exist ?)

I have trow 2Mh on my node but the expected time to block just increase like hell while mining.

DEV said that 2 hours and there is a block. I turned 18Mhs on P2Pool and mining 6 hours.

I think it's not due to any multipool... Doesn't exist any x11 mpool with such hashpower...
I think it's due to a bug or an error generated somewhere on the net...
I think the most important thing is now to restore the normal operation... i don't know if it is possible but the diff should manually forced by the dev to a lower value to allow us to solve the block and to recalculate the diff to a value coerent with the net hash power...

I have found a solution. Change 34140 to 33545 at line 1342, 2377 and 2395 in main.cpp. There was a problem with KGW.

It is up to almost .00002 on Allcoin. I haven't had a single problem trading with Allcoin so far. Exchange seems pretty legit and most importantly, fast!

That said, we'd be far better on an exchange such as Mintpal.

0.00002 is still cheap for the total coin supply which is only 44 million. We should aim for 0.00015 easily :)

wtman I understand that isn't enough to go off of, but I have been true to my word thus far, I added an animated logo, I fixed Hashcoin when we had that bump in the road. I promise you I will be integrating different new features into Hashcoin....I know I don't have much upfront right now, I am very very busy with my personal life (possibly getting kicked out of where I live, struggling to get enough funds to find a new home, working full-time, etc.) Hashcoin is my #1 priority though and I have begun working on the new features, these features will bring Hashcoin to a whole new level, I have stated what I plan to add (DarkSend, possibly PoS after the PoW, DGW V3, and some other new features) Hashcoin is already a solid coin all around, it has X11, time travel limitations, Dark Gravity Wave V2, Quick Confirmations, yearly production decline after certain block is hit, random block reward, random diff., etc. Hashcoin isn't being traded heavily, due to the fact that HippieTech and his friends have been trolling my coin since the start, it makes it very difficult to get investors when the threads are just flamed with "Scam, Bad coin, boo this, boo that"....Most people eventually don't know what to believe and just leave it be....So we really need some community support more than anything if Hashcoin wants to be successful, I do see a lot of faces that have interest in Hashcoin as well, lets make this happen guys!

@HippieTech - Have you ever heard of a False Positive? That is what that is.

False Positives can happen because of (shitty antiviruses like the ones displayed on virustotal saying its infected), due to the nature of the Bitcoin protocol and especially since CPU/GPU coins that some bad people use for botnets etc. causing it to get a bad name with certain antivirus software becuase people use it maliciously, I can't confirm whether or not that is why it is showing as a false positive, but I can guarentee you 100% the website is not infected nor the wallet-qt. For damn sake, look at http://www.hashcoin.me it is running on my VPS with the latest version of Wordpress it is not infected at all, its 100% clean and secure.

Hash Coin's best thing is its quality and quantity that will make it the most precious and wanted coin. I personallt think it's going to be the new star in Crypted currancyes family. keep it up amazing and nice.

at the moment very low dif .....this coin is very young and is not very supported yet by the community ...i am mining now because very low diff ( 1 ) ...let's see how the deav team will work ...

Poloniex should add hashcoin especially since you are willing to add new innovative algos such as Darksend and already implemented DGW1 and then DGW2. This might become really promising with DarkSend.

We better hope we can get on poloniex. Bittrex and Allcoin are good but poloniex would be a nice addition. I think these 3 would be sufficient to take hashcoin to its real value which is at the very least 0.00005

dev you think we could work hard enough so as to generate 0.5 btc of actual daily buyer demand? That would mean a lot for this coin. I mean, really it would. I mean, 0.5 btc of minimum daily buyer demand which would in turn attract more confident traders. There has to be a minimum support level.

That would be up to the community wtman, I don't have much money at all and I didn't premine any coins, so I don't have the buying/selling power like a lot of other altcoin devs do.

It is up the community, if you like Hash then buy it, if you don't then don't lol, but I can tell you Hashcoin is here to stay and will be around for a very long time.

Hashcoin can be easily taken to 0.00005 infact, several other coins with a similar coin supply have a comfortable support level of 0.00005. Hashcoin is growing and well above most of those coins in terms of coin features which should matter the MOST.

Current price on bittrex: 0.00001
Current price on Allcoin: 0.0000033

This coin can have a pretty awesome potential ahead if a few big guys can get onboard and provide the minimum buy support.

A 3.2 btc wall on Allcoin needs to be bought out before hashcoin can go to the moon.

When is the darksend source coming public?

Hashcoin should go up in usability and value almost immediately once darksend is implemented. Current price is less than 0.000005 right now. Tremendous value when you consider the coin supply and compare with other similar coins with much older and non updated sources.

Meanwhile, any update on poloniex listing? That would be a decent value in itself.

Still holding onto every hashcoin I've mined.  Will be back on HASH after DRM POW is over.  Dev comes up with the coolest names for coins. Haha.  :)  BTW. What's the diff and block reward at now?

Dreamcoin, which has been created by the same dev, got 131 btc volume today.

I believe that along with the innovative features of hashcoin and dreamcoin is proof enough that the hashcoin dev is a very capable person. We are going to leave coins such as maxcoin, worldcoin behind with our better dev and far superior codebase.
