Hi guys
I'm a beginner in mining ,I 'de ask you about the best cloud mining service to start mining
in safe way because I heard that there a lot of scam sites ,in addition the high cost of fees
of maintenance and electricity .So I'l get just a little milli bitcoins
Would you show me the best way please ? :)

Most all of cm service is ponzi scheme.
But you can try hashprofit they give you free 200khs for 7 days, try zeushash too. But becareful someday they will take your money and gone(maybe) :D

I would suggest you CEX.IO only if you are going to 'mine big'. Else, try ZeusHost. I just bought a few GH/s last month. And I'm earning some Bitcoin now. Well, I have not get profit yet. However, seeing the results for a few weeks.. I should be able to get profit within six month.

Investing in Cloud Mining is not easy. The research involved in the mining site you hope to choose can be a bit extensive to make sure its not a scam. However if you find a good 3 to 5 year term site that has the mindset to stay in business for the term of your contract it actually can be very profitable.

I actually use cex.io for ghs trading. But sometime I use for mining too although not profitable :P

Latest payments of CEX.io are coming in -ve. From profitability point of view, they are not preferred any more.

I second that you read the thread before investing in any cloudmining sites. Personally I've gotten in and out of Hashnest with a profit, so I recommend that.

I don't know they ponzi or not but looks like they ponzi. Right now they still worth I'm just little bit invest there and until I get roi++ I'm not invest anymore.

I don't like how cloud mining services contribute to the problem of the centralization of mining, and how the vast majority of users never make profit with them, but if you absolutely want to use one i'd suggest ZenMiner, they are legit and reliable.

I'd advise against any cloud mining at the moment, as the majority are all ponzi schemes.

If you're looking just grab a few coins, just buy some, secure it and stash it away offline.  Safest and least risk involved.

I second this. I've done both and simply buying paid off a lot more in the long run.

CEX.io is fairly popular AFAIK.  Haven't used it yet.  I remember they were going to add short trading once, though it never happened.

The maintenance fee for CEX.io is higher than the mining revenue. If you buy CEX.io shares, you are guaranteed to lose money.

so what the best cloud mining site?

If there is an option to avoid cloud mining entirely, I would choose that one.

Otherwise, I feel that CEX.IO is the best site because even though you will lose money, at least you know what you are getting.

To be honest, the best cloud mining sites are the ones you stay away from. There are currently two types of cloud mining services:

1.) the ones that don't have any hardware or mining shares as a reseller = scam, stay away
2.) the ones that own big mining farms but with the current low BTC and LTC rates, you are far away from being profitable. Most cloud LTC mining services are close to cancel their contracts and with a falling BTC price the same will happen to BTC cloud services, too.

You better wait for better prices. If you really want to risk your coins, I can only recommend:

I would say no. I recently bought 100 GH/s there, and the maintenance and fees was about 90% of what my revenue would have been.

Did not you see that before? After all if cloud mining provider is honest - and they are mining real coins your maintenance fee and other side costs will be enormous. After all they need to earn some money on this. You will no really earn anything you will only get ROI.

The bitcoin difficulty is expected to go up ~10% in 4 days, and should keep rising every ~13 days, so the mining reward will never be able to cover the $0.105 monthly fee.

I wouldn't recommend you using any cloud mining service, but if you really want to than go with hashprofit.com. I've tried most of them (invest about 50$ and use it for month or so), and I've only made a profit with hashprofit and lost with cex.io because of high fees.

Before you get any roi on it the company would be gone, it's more of a ponzi scheme these days.
If you wana mine for a hobby get some antminers but don;t think of any profit from those too.
It's an expensive hobby that ain't profitable anymore.

The old miners with higher power consumption will be shut down, but new miners with lower power consumption will be invented, delivered and used.

i wouldnt believe too much on what ppl that are cloud mining are saying, best  to use your own calculations.

Zencloud is  good but a little confusing and there are some maintenances that can last up for days. My suggestion is the hashprofit.

If you're looking for profit, then don't even bother to use or even look for cloud mining services. The legit ones won't make you any profit, and the rest are ponzis.

Agree with this, I tried cloud mining on cex.io maybe last year or that was 2013 without exactly knowing what it is and how it works. I just read someone posted on facebook  that you just leave your bitcoin there and you will profit but I just lost my bitcoins.. Why don't you try this minefarm posted here on the forum. i have been minig with Genesis Mining . They pay daily.. I happy , you can get back your investment in 9-14 months (changing by price)
But if you have cheap electricity it is better yo mine with your own machines.. I started with genesis and now i am mining both myself and genesis..

In the past mining were actually better. Cloud mining especially, I was eager to invest in it because of how hyped I was but Cloud mining is extremely risky.
You have to be sure that it is legit cloud mining and not virtual ponzi scheme. You may want to see pictures of hardware, know mining address, datacenter locations etc. before investing.

There was a time 3 month was guaranteed but now cloud or hardware it's not guaranteed.   Reserch the cloud mining before doing it, but there are a few good ones out there.

If someone promises ROI.  Or things that sound to good to be true, avoid that cloud mining site.  A lot of them get people with promising terms to good to be true.

scrypt.cc hasnt had withdrawl's for months now, many people lost quite a bit of BTC. In fact the man supposedly behind the site is now called 'scamtos' on a few threads here lol

Hey guys is it worth it to buy cloud hashing now or it is too late to make any profit?

Everyone will give you different anwsers.  Honestly there is no sure bet to say yes you make money or no you don't.   So no one can do that.

You can speculate I think mining will be profitable in right conditions.  I mostly deal with physical miners.  But it does depend on value of coin and difficulty.  The difficulty is what is making it ugly last few weeks.

NONE - There are no good cloud mining sites.  Why are you going to pay a company to use their equipment to mine when they do everything for you.  If it was profitable, they would be doing the mining for themselves and keeping the profit.  Why sell the profit before it is mined???  THERE ARE NO GOOD CLOUD MINING SITES.

And they do not sell the profit. They do take a % of what you mine on their website, but that is it.

Also, I've checked with the host of CLDMine and they have a 5 year contrat for hosting. That means that their website is not just gonna disappear, like RDP (that was a scam).

I've did a lot of research before posting the list here, and these sites are very reliable.

So, I can tell you: YES, THERE ARE GOOD CLOUD MINING SITES.

All site it's good for invest your money for a long time, but back to the owner who have that site ? if you know when will they run with all your money and leave you on that web. who knows?

By my own xp, CLD Mine and Genesys do pay.

 

hashnest is the most good and safety for cloudmining. you can see details block rewars under your account details. but roi time is showing very long. during this time if new products highly efficient entered bitcoin mining, difficulty can increase too much so there is a risk of you can not make roi your initial investment. i do not advise cloud mining.  

You need to wait a long time for profit and that's if the website doesn't scam you.

Cloud mining has weak returns now and they only get weaker (intil you end up owing more fees than your earnings on a daily basis). It's not worth your time. Signature campaigns are more profitable!

Yes most of them applied ponzi scheme , so I can say 99% of them untrusted.
I only trust on cex.io for cloud mining, and as you know they will provide a profit if you have a lot of GHS so never mind to get profit if you invest only like 1 or 2 btc.

From all the cloud mining websites out there I've found 3 of them to be good (in my point of view), due to customer support, payout, users reviews and time online.

Another suggestion: make low investments.

All I can say is that I ve had no problem whatsoever, payouts were on a daily basis and I am about to hit ROI in a couple of days. Now I let my coins stake in my wallet and sell interest. How s that a bad deal?

Yeah only them are probably no scam, but we can't be sure. They did scam their users in the past with hiding blocks etc.
But I would invest first there then even considering Genesis Mining or scrypt.cc

Because they are managed by bitmain doesn't mean they aren't legit. Just google hashnest block hiding and you find proof they are no better then other

I think there is no legit cloudmining site they are scam even the site is old they still scam because they are online and anonymous...

Most of those are ponzis. The only legit one you listed was genisis mining. I personally recommened hashnet for cloud mining, probably the most legit service.

Totally. Anybody can make up a nice flashy website promising all sorts of unicorns and rainbows, but in the end, will probably rip you off, just like scrypt.cc does/did.

Avoid all cloud mining sites, there is no profitability to any of them so most are scams. If you have to mine, buy mining equipment instead, and if you can afford to run it at home, or have it hosted someplace else.

Both companies has scammed their users to earn a quick buck.
Hashnest did some dark thing with payments and block finders fee
Genesis Mining, screwed their customers up with payments too and forced them to convert profitable scrypt hash for sha has on a 1 to 1000 conversion rate.

Yeah, this is the exact same reason I decided to leave them.
Their support is a joke. Bad english person, who don't understand the concept of doing business.

But even in terms of profits they lack everything.

Cloud mining just isn't worth investment..if it would then why do owners offer that hashing power for rent instread of mining themselves?

Follow my uncommon kind of cloudmining and in a time you will regret that you have not invested in it.

Best is to claim few times for free...so you can see how much profit you have missed.
None is forced to invest or to claim for free...but tell every where that investment in cloudmining sites is scam is not fair...

Eh.  Dont tell me I know.... So many are not even mining they just pretend when they really dont own a single mining machine. There are better ways to invest your money. Some of the altcoins can give you a great return. There are also some longer term investments in coins and projects. Just make sure you are going to get enough research done since you don't want to be losing your money.

Ok so I have an investment in stocks with a private stock broker. The return is somewhere near 31%  per annual. This does not sound like a lot maybe to most people here but it is real. It is not some insane 100% in 3 months. That is crazy and is unsastanable in most cases unless it's a short term project you investing in. Rather invest in something legit then trust these strange internet sites. Most of them really make no sense. Unless you can see the mining machines dont bother investing. I'm not saying dont invest in mining I'm just saying be very careful. I think a slower return is much safer then these "here today , gone tomorrow" that have no legal agreements with you.

I can write some experiences I had and as the investments with BTC are risky (purelly in BTC I mean), cloud mining is also very risky, but the fact is that you will be stucked into contract that has a period to end and so on... Cloudmining for me is just like a shit on ass there's no true on them and it will scam the money of their investor and so far i don't really see any site who's worthy to invest with even though there so many people bragging me to invest on those or telling that they are legit companies, so think twice for those people who still have investment on those its because your risking your money in their with no clear sign of gaurantee that people can earn on them.

Yes it is. Some cloud mining are scam. And if you are looking for a proof, just one example is the Hashocean. It is a cloud mining that operates for about a year. Then when halving came, they run with the investors money and they didn't return even a single cent. I was one of that victim that is why I never trusted a cloud mining site right after that. There may be withdrawals with your investment but it is significantly low from your capital.

It's very clear the cloud minings are Ponzi HYIP schemes or unprofitable "legit" investiments on long term. I understand it's very good to believe you can give $5 to someone and earn passive income FOREVER, but it's not real. Forget about it and try to find an investiment really trustful and profitable.

I guess some people just don't learn from their mistakes. Much better to look for lectures about altcoin trading than to spend time looking for a "legit" cloud mining site, right? Becoming an expert in altcoin trading would be much profitable but it would require a lot of time and effort.

I don't know if there is any cloud ming website able to provide profits. And even if there were, with the recent btc bull market, by holding Bitcoin there are much better chance for profit than any cloud mining investment.

There were back then when difficulty was a little bit lower I've made ROI on cex.io and hashprofit i believe, cex.io stopped cloudmining and I've havent revisited hashprofit since, but now there's rarely some that could make you profit but most of them are scam sites.

My own experience with hashflare.io has been fairly mixed. Before the halving it was quite awsome. Started with buying 100 Mhs and reinvested up to 170-180 Mhs in a matter of months (about 4-5 i think). Then the halving happened and I'm stuck at 200 Mhs (after 4 months now), and the payments doesn't seem to rise with the increased amounts oh Mhs I own. Keep in mind that the only reason that I've been able to double my Mhs is because they have keept lowering the $/Hs of they SHA-plans, because of "lowering their eletrical cost by improving their hardware".

Electricity will always remain a problem if you live in well developed countries due to the costs, but I have been doing some research with an interesting result.

It is possible that you buy a small space in a data center located in your area where you place your hardware and everything is included in the price.

I find it a decent alternative as it saves me like $50-$100 in electricity per month, but still, the rising difficulty is being another problem here. Solve one thing, then another thing pops up. :D

Only reason why they were "trusted" before because not everyone knows about ponzi sites. There are some people that knows about the idea of a ponzi scheme but still wanted to try to invest in a cloud mining site because almost everyone's investing on them. Now that people are well-informed by lame scams like cloud mining sites, no one trusts cloud mining anymore. I invested once in one site called eobot, and I never got my investment back. I saw genesis mining too, but didn't try because the reviews weren't positive.

Those proofs of mining farm can be faked as well. Some people have their own mining farm but don't post it or don't let other people mine with them by renting a particular mining power. These cloud mining sites can just ask for an owner of a mining farm to have a picture of it and that's what they are going to use on their website. It will be a unique photo since the mining farm owner has never uploaded a photo of his mining farm. There are some cloud mining sites that just google "mining farms" and then use that on their website. A simple google search of that photo can reveal that it belongs to someone else.

I've seen cloud mining sites like this and there's no wonder if a cloud mining site shows actual proof of mining farm but eventually turns out as secretly a ponzi site.

I do have the same thought like you. No one is crazy enough to rent their mining equipment out. Mining for themselves will be more effective and more profitable. And I have never seen any legit cloud mining. Most of cloud mining on the internet become scammers in less than a year. There are still a few exception like hashflare or genesis-mining. However, hashflare has already gained a lot of scam accusations and I believe they will shut down the whole system soon
