I have friends using bitplastic and xapo, however their use is much less, more flashy. The card is pretty simple but I don't fund much future of them right now but a couple years later. What pisses me odd is that bitplastic still markets their debit cards saying they are the only ones offering bitcoin debit cards but they are so wrong.

The memebers of Bit-X sig campaign can also get the Bit-X card without the issuing fee.
However, I'd advise you to look for the costs, on any card you want to check out.

Coinjar has also released a bitcoin debit card, although i belive its only availble for Australian customers.
I've had mine for a few months now and it comes in handy.
It does have a $2 AUD fee when used at any ATM which is a bit anoying but i guess you pay for the convenience.

they are all too expensive for my taste, and they go a bit aginst the philosophy of bitcoin imho, i don't plan to ever using one to be honest, but maybe if i can find one card that offer a truly anonimity for value above 500 usd, and it has a very low cost i might try it one day

I personally just ordered couple of them (Bit-x since I can get it free because I'am on the signature compaign) and also Advcash which seems like the best of the best , I've never seen a card with such low fees and when I say low I mean low. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1011381.0 you can order it for 5$ (Plastic card physical shipped to your home) or 0.99$ (Virtual only) . I hope I will get them soon :)

Right now there are high fees for use that cards. Maybe in the future a massive spread will make this new way of payment more convenient. For now BTC debit card is usable only for big payments. In this area BTC is still far from Fiat values.

Unless bitcoins are widely accepted by lot of merchants, the popularity of these cards will remain less for now. Its a good concept , but only after adoption it will become popular.

Using these cards completely defeats the purpose of Bitcoin. In my mind anyway. Everyone want's to make BTC something people use to buy groceries and pay rent. WHY? Maybe I have been here too long but I still value my anonymity.

yes, the concept needs more adoption for widespread use. There are a lot of companies out there offering the same service and if they stick around, they'd share a wild monopoly in the business.

The fees are often vast and their continuing existence is pretty tenuous. It wouldn't take much for them to be shut down. If I really needed to spend I'd just sell normally if I can't spend them directly.

Bitx has insane fee if you ask me, i mean charging fee even when youre not using the card is insane.
Monthly fee (no activity*)   0.05 BTC

When fees get more in range of normal debit card, then i'll use it, until then i have my skrill cards and im happy with it.
I exchange whatever USD amount i need and just spend it with that card. About 2% they are charging fee, and yearly 10 EUR.

Currently i'm thinking about xapo, but i noticed many people have problems with verification, so i'm still waiting ti see how it plays out.

cheers

Fees is one of the problem behind idea of bitcoin debit cards. People seem to ignore fact, that we really DON'T need bitcoin debit cards.
We should be aiming for direct bitcoin p2p payment, not creating another processor service to rob us from our money while in reality we can use bitcoin on its own.

We DO need bitcoin debit cards, bot as a permanent solution ofcourse, but we still need to use them in this transitional period where there are still not enough
retailers and merchants that accept straight bitcoin payments. Trust me, i would absolutely love it if i could send from my own mobile wallet and pay for my groceries, but for now, debit card will have to do.

cheers

There's nothing worse than the feeling of being in debt. I never used regular fiat debit cards and i will not be using BTC debit cards if they become available in the future. I still dont get how it will be done exactly tho. Just like there is a lot of scams with people not paying back loans, there will be lots of scams with people not paying their debt back.. how will they avoid this?

None of them are credit cards or have accounts linked to them with overdrafts. You spend what's in there. Once it's gone, it's gone. They run along the same lines as pre paid cards. You load them up and spend what's on there.

I receive my salaries in fiat and I have more fiat saving than bitcoin. I don't think anyone need a bitcoin debit card. It is more of a trendy thing than a must have. When people buy things with a card and they have a choice between a fiat credit card and a bitcoin debit card, they will choose to use a card that will be cheaper for them - credit card because of lower fees.

I think bitcoin debt card will be a hit when bitcoin price rose to another ATH. That is when their bitcoin is worth a lot more than they bought them for. Users do not care much about the fees any longer, and they want faster bitcoin to fiat conversion. Buy things with bitcoin directly rather than going through the exchange and wire to bank accounts.

1 of them is that they not ship to all country, another one it that you need to verify your identity(ID and residence proof) above 500 per day

What pisses me odd is that bitplastic still markets their debit cards saying they are the only ones offering bitcoin debit cards but they are so wrong.

I double checked. They say they are the ONLY bitcoin debit card providers, which is false marketing and they can easily be sued by their rivals  :P The use of such debit cards will be low because of common use of bitcoin is also comparatively low.

Instead of using another service with high fees, we should rather aim to create or develop a service with direct payment and zero fee system, which is what will empower bitcoin. It can be a huge SP for bitcoin and might create more space for market. The profit source might change but motive too.

This shit doesn't even matter, because nobody is going to use these cards. What'd be the point then? It will defeat the whole purpose of bitcoins. You have your own access to it and with the widespread acceptance of bitcoin, payment will be super easy too. Why use the atm card then?

Even if you want to spend the bitcoins you earned by other means, like sell of goods and signature campaigns?

I think it is cheaper and faster than withdraw your bitcoins, get the money out of bank, then go to the store with cash. Specially if you want to use some bigger amount.

True indeed. It makes sense if you're spending bits and bobs. If I was cashing out a large amount to spend I'd still do it the old fashioned way. Those percentages can add up.

What will you do with a debit card of a currency which isn't even widely accepted and used yet, man? You need to shut the fuck up and hold on your btc, make initiatives to make the world to adopt bitcoins and then you go and get a debit card. They're fucking useless at the moment. The fees are so high, what's the point of getting a card?

If the transactions fails and you don't get recredited, you can sue your provider really good. Don't worry about that, but I don't understand the use of such cards right now, in 2015. It might be much more useful in the coming years when the transaction feels won't be as high as it is at the moment, when the bitcoin will hold more adoption and more value.

Well that doesnt seam like a smart choice either, since there is inactivity fee @ bit-x of 0,05 bitcoins, if i'm not mistaken?
Isn't it better for you to atleast make 1-2 transactions to avoid that inactivity fee?

I am using a Bit-x debit card. So far, I have used it only for withdrawing money, and not for any online shopping. It is tricky sometimes. Different banks seems to have different exchange rates, and some of them have additional charges. But my overall experience has been positive. I'll continue to use it for the foreseeable future.

Millions of people using Bitcoin debit card as it is completely safe to fund your cryptocurrency account with credit card and make withdrawal to credit card with it!  ;D
As for withdrawal purpose it reduces the risks of the transactions(utility bills, internet shopping etc.) as of funding Bitcoin using Credit card, so verification will be much simplier. ;D

Xapo, Bit-X and CCEDK are all similar regarding the cards and how they work.

Most can be used in any country that hasn't limited bitcoin. Those cards behave just like credit cards.

Just be sure to read the fine print: costs are rather high and there are spending limits. Those limits can be removed when you verify identity and when you do that, make sure to declare funds at tax time. That's mainly why the verification is there.

Overall a great card to have in my opinion!

I have one, but I am not using it, just tried it out. Well, it's a great thing if you don't mind fees. It works great, you can actually spend your bitcoins and pay with bitcoins everywhere. But fees are still very high so for me it doesn't still make any sense using it on a daily basis.

I am sure, that as market matures and competition heats up, the fees will also drop and then these cards will be more user friendly.

You are indirectly cashing out your bitcoins and that is something I heavily advise not to do, you are not actually buying things with bitcoins but exchanging your bitcoins for goods and services, and every time you do, you are also paying pretty hefty conversion charges as well as transaction charges, I don't think these cards could be that great a deal right now. I don't really advise on using it.

I have never used it and neither am I planning to do in the future. To use any of these cards you have to make accounts at a third party service such as Bit-x or Xapo etc. and to use these cards you have to keep balance in your accounts at these services and I don't like keeping my Bitcoin funds anywhere but in my secure cold wallet. As far as purchasing the stuff online with it is concerned, you can use your own debit/credit cards issued by your banks because basically that's what these cards are doing it too, any time you purchase something online with these cards from a service that doesn't accepts bitcoin, the coins in your account are sold for fiat and then you use that to buy anything that you buy and you pay a higher fees doing it.

So in short, people using these cards are not only wasting time by buying btc>buying card>using card>paying for goods and services through that card>paying transaction fees and conversion fees> where they could have just used their debit card directly. Either I am missing out on something or I really do not understand what's the use of these cards? Get a card and cash out your investments? NAH

I have no complaints about their service though.

I have never really liked any such cards, but I very rarely use the bit x card for such purposes. Although I am strictly promising myself to never cash out my bitcoins in the future again, rather add more to what I currently possess. Going to buy some btc very soon, the halving has no affect on my decision either way :D

Yes of course. Currently using the retro fiat debit cards is profitable.
Because currently the bitcoin debitcards are overpriced and after some time its prices would probably come down.
So in my opinion also it is not good to use those cards right now, i'll wait for sometime before using those.

This debit card doesn't even sound good to me.
I mean, OK it's good that they have removed the monthly but I have not found any inactivity fee.
Just a question coming in my mind..... Do all Bitcoin debit card companies request/demand the completion of  aml/KYC in process of Giving us the debit cards? ???
If yes then I'll never think about using one in my life. Because I use bitcoins to stay anonymous.

It is very expensive compared to other bitcoin debit cards which are currently available on the market.
The fees for everyday use are simply too high

Card fees
Issuance:   15,99€ / $19,99
Monthly fee:   none
ATM International withdrawal:   2.80€ / $3.50
FX exchange fee:   2.75%
Loading fees:   Coinomat exchange rate plus 3€ or $3 fixed fee
PoS transaction:   0.55€ / $0.75

I don't feel it to be pretty reasonable because of the transaction fees it takes for exchange, and I would rather spend my bitcoins directly, and use my normal fiat/bank debit card for purchases and online shopping or withdrawing or whatever, because it is less complicated and I do feel there should be trade of assets in order to increase its value, but I don't like spending my assets too much, and treat it like currency right now.

So provided the whole forum, around 150 posts a week is not big deal.
BTW there is a question coming in my mind, is there a daily limit to post on the forum before our account gets banned for posting.  ???
I've seen many people complaining about it in the meta forum.

Theses questions of limitation on posts should be ask on another topic thread such as begginers and help area.

But to answer your question there isnt a daily limit, but if we see it to very spam like, I hit the tab on the bottom right "report to moderator" and if the moderator deletes your posts more then 2 times, you`ll see a banned account in red.

I think very few people opt for such services, cashing out your investments to buy groceries could possibly the worst case scenario for investors man. The transaction fees is much more than debit/credit when using the btc debit card, I understand that because exchange rates are also calculated. Bitcoin could be a payment gatweway to pay for goods and services online but the logic of buying btc from fiat, then withdrawing btc just to treat it like fiat. WHAT'S DAH POINT?

Easy, in the past I had to cash out my bitcoins on an exchange and after the conversion had to have the funds transferred to my bank account. All of this involve fees and time. The bank transfer part can easily take 2 or more days depending on the exchange.

With a debit card I no longer need to do this. All I do is swipe my card. Everything happens in the background and it works out cheaper. Also, my bitcoins is available instantly, no need to transfer it anywhere first and or to cash it out or anything like that, I just take my card out and swipe it. As easy as that.

Just a note: The above only work if you are with somebody like Xapo or Bit-X where your bitcoin wallet is directly linked to your card. The preloaded cards do not work like this and often its easier to just cash out than getting funds onto those cards.

No there are others who also offer debit cards but they work on a pre-load basis. This means that you have to send bitcoin to them and they then sell it to convert it to say US$ which they then load onto the card. So the debit card actually works like a prepaid card. There are also fees involved for this loading of the card which makes it more expensive.

With Bit-x and Xapo you do not need to send bitcoins to anyone. The debit cards they have are directly linked to your wallet. So each time you make a purchase on the card the value of that transaction is taken directly off your wallet. So no need to first convert the bitcoin to fiat, it all happens in the background when you make a transaction.

I've had mine for a few months now and it comes in handy.
It does have a $2 AUD fee when used at any ATM which is a bit anoying but i guess you pay for the convenience.

Could you explain the whole functioning and procedure of the bitcoin debit card? I find it very hard to understand how it comes handly unless you're using it for trading/exchange with someone who accepts bitcoins and to what I know the whole bitcoin system is not very out other/popular in the world. Do you have bank or debit card?

If so do you use it? If you do then you already understand the convenience of a debit card.

I do not understand why people cannot see the use of a bitcoin debit card.

Think of it this way. If you receive bitcoins you can use it to to buy things online or at a retail outlet where bitcoin is accepted. If not then you are forced to use your normal bank card and or fiat money.

You can off course also send your bitcoin to an exchange, sell it and then withdraw the money you received from the sale to your bank account and then withdraw that money and or use your bank card. This whole process has several fees attached to it. First you pay a fee to send your bitcoin to the exchange, then you pay commission on the sale of your bitcoin, you then pay a fee to have the money sent to your bank and again when you withdraw the funds from your bank.

Instead of going through all of the above you can just send your bitcoin to say either Xapo and or Bit-x and thats it. You pay one fee. You then just use your card to buy whatever you want wherever you want, whether they accept bitcoin or not does not matter. No need to sell or convert your bitcoin, you just swipe your card.

And yes, there are fees but they are not as high as everybody makes them out to be. The whole process of converting your bitcoin to fiat is just as expensive and it takes days. With a debit card linked to your wallet you can start swiping the moment the funds are confirmed.

So the choice really is whether you only want to use your bitcoin at places that accept bitcoin and or whether you want to use your bitcoin whenever you want to. With a debit card you can and its much more convenient than going through the whole exchange thing.

I think miracal meant it sarcastically. Dude, why would I pay something/buy something from a bitcoin debit card, cashing out my btc + paying transaction fees/conversaion-exchange whatever fees along with my order? If I pay from bitcoin debit card, I would be in a way cashing out my bitcoins rather than using them properly. Nah, would rather pay that with bank's debit card or fiat.

I have a little over looked...
The fees are higher than my amount in bitcoin...

Then this is not for you. I see that at least the min. to start using the cash in debit card is that we should spend in fee 0.1
Then the fee when withdrawing money or/and purchasing in pos fees too.

I don't have one myself, well at least don't have anything in it. But I do know people who use it, it is pretty nice. Fees are not low though. I still prefer regular, btc is just my hobby.

I also don't one because of as of now I don't see any need of it. I can easily trade my coins without any debit card.

At the moment i dont have any of them, the fees are little high for me. If i earn lots of bitcoins then the fees are low(nothing). Maybe waiting for a bit they will start lowering the fees.

The 2 bitcoin debit card that i am searching are bit-x and coinomat card(coinocard)
For the coinomat debit card here is the link with fees: https://coinomat.com/cards.php
And bit-x debit card https://bit-x.com/guide/bitx-cards

Both of them have similar fees but it is still high. Do you know any other?

always useful to have such a thing available in emergencies though, why would a person care about transaction fees in emergency anyway. I have a seperate bank credit card for such emergencies, its my back up account. The ones I use on a rainy day, but its all good. I am trying to use the most out of what banks could do for me, but bitcoin somehow seems as an overall satisfaction, just craving more adoption for better transactions.

This is a motivation for me. I will research more about these debits cards and order one only for these situations.
It is very useful for emergencies and the fees shouldn't be consider in these cases.

It's hard to believe it, If you have 0.2BTC in your wallet (bitcoin debit card) then most of them will be spent on fees. Check my post for example 2 type of debit cards:

I would rather use my smartphone if I want to pay in Bitcoin. If the merchant is not accept Bitcoin then too bad for him. They should get with the times and start accepting it. I don't use debit cards whether its bitcoin or fiat.

I think it's more risky in smartphone, there are many malware especially for Android phones.
If you have a good antivirus (like CM Security) and you don't download apps from some "Earn money while downloading and testing apps and games" then you should be safe.
I think that it is needed to use debit cards even if it is bitcoin or fiat, has been a must for us to use it online.

That's right but you can use your coins only in internet and not in the real economy. With debit card you can use your bitcoins everywhere. Buy good s at the shops at the supermarkets and in every material store that exist in the real world.

I dont know how many people use it, but eventually people will start to.

Yes it costs more to buy but think about it, your money is safe and it doesnt get inflated. It might not be trendy yet, but soon it will be.

Also its efficient since you can pay with it right away and not have to wait 10 min to confirm.

It will become trendy when the fees will be lower than that are at the moment. But if we have a good amount of btc then its ok and for emergencies it is just fine enough.

I don't think that the fee will come down any lower. Right now, I am paying around 3% fee for cash withdrawals from my Bit-X debit Card. I am paying a slightly higher fee, for cash withdrawals using my credit card (which is issued by one of the local banks). The fee seems reasonable to me. So the only option is to get used to it.  ;D

Since i am a student i dont have to pay any fee for my debit card neither to withdraw money from it, that's why the fee seems high for me.

I am using that particular debit card, because I got it free of cost from Bit-X, as a reward for participating in their signature program. If that is not the case, then I believe there is a BTC0.05 one-time fee. You can find more information from their official thread:

I ordered another card for a family member and the charges seem to be pretty feasible. Do you use your bit x card as much as a bank debit/credit card?

I mostly use the bit x card for converting my coins to fiat cash (using normal bank ATMs). This card gives me the added option of anonymity. However, I have never used it for online shopping or for bill payment. For these purposes, I use my credit card (which is issued by the local bank). Unlike cash withdrawal, the fees for the CC is lower for online shopping.

Have you tried to withdraw all your bitcoin to fiat cash through ATMs ? Because somewhere i read that it is limited to 70% and somewhere 90% both posts are from marcotheminer, is any of these true or it is 100%.
Are the fees as advertised or more than that from your experience?

No... I always had 30% to 40% of my coins remaining in the account. And regarding the fee, I think it is as per the rate given in their website.

Because, normally I pay around BTC0.01+3% as fee for withdrawing cash using the Bit-X card. BTC0.01 is Bit-X commission, while around 3% is the commission charged by Mastercard.

The real problem is that goods and services currently are pegged to the fiat currencies. Not Bitcoin itself. In order for bitcoin to have its true independent eco-system, there requires goods and services priced in BTC independently of fiat.

It will be that way util more merchants are starting to adopt it. However with instant transfer from BTC<>FIAT with merchants they can eliminate volatility risk and they can use it to offer stuff at discount.

Also the more merchants use it the more demand there is for bitcoin, so just wait until 500,000 more merchants start accepting it , then we will see some interesting things.

I tried withdrawing all of my amount but it parsed error and says that permission is denied. The fees are exactly as how they are mentioned on the thread as well as their website, I honestly don't use the card as much as I thought I would when I was buying it.

Go to the bit x website and sign up for an account which will either benefit you with a debit card if there is an offer, otherwise you have to buy the debit card in order to receive it and enjoy its services. Once you receive the debit card, transfer bitcoin from any wallet of yours to your bit x wallet. You can use the debit card in any ATM store (selected countries) to cash out your bitcoins and give you fiat in exchange. Not really complicated.

It works just like a normal debit card, because they are co-branded with mastercard or visa.

When you pay your deposit of BTC gets converted into fiat, and the merchant only gets fiat, and also only sees fiat, they dont even know that you paid with bitcoin.

The only one that knows is your card issuer and the place where you hold your bitcoin balance from where you spend.

Thanks for the feedback, I read a post from marcotheminer about this percentage at the begging it was 70%
Then they increased to 90% because of the fees and the conversation from BTC to fiat (usd or eur).
It should give some room to proceed the fees that's why it is 90%.
Yeah i saw these fees has been decreased a bit but still a bit expensive.

If i had at least 10BTC then i would order one as the fees in this case will be to little comparing to the amount of bitcoins.

I have been reading today for few hours about debit cards and these two fits my needs,
What i am mostly interested is about Xapo debit card, i don't see there sell/buy orders to see the current price
Current in Xapo buy price is $247 and in Coindesk price is $244.4 what rate will it take when i want to cashout in ATM?

I`m not interested in bitcoin debit card yet, since there are not many merchants anyway, and i would need more trust in them to be able to use that.

Identity theft is a big issue nowaday, and i would not give my personal data to untrustable people.

So i`ll wait a few more years until this industry becomes more stable, and more merchants accept it, then I`ll look into it more. Definitely a bitcoin debit card would be perfect in the future.

I checked this thread and also check in their website.
The rates it's a bit different from the real price of bitcoin (coindesk price vs e-coin.io rate)
Could you make a review and post here, i can't see any fee there just $17 for the card to be shipped.

Just like anything, I`m pretty sure you`ll see the fee after you get the card.

I know marketing does enough to think its only $17 but in reality they need to make a profit, which it`ll show after you use their card if you cant find it.

That's why i need to see the reviews from people that are using it.
More people using it more real are the reviews, i have researched for bit-x and seems good.
Also i am a bit confused about the Xapo because something is hidden that don't want let us known about these hidden fees(processing fees etc.)

This is a little of topic but related to debit cards....

Nothing much to do today so was reading articles about new developments and came accross a thread here about Monese (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1164667.0), a new startup in the UK that's essentially an online bank [just fiat, no bitcoin], no branches and just the basics, an account and a debit card. This article led me to two similar startups namely Number26 (https://number26.de/en/), a German banking startup and Mondo (https://getmondo.co.uk/) in the UK. The last two are looking at establishing full banking services like loans etc..

One thing that all of them offer are zero fee transactions. Even their debit cards is free of any fees. I think its Mondo [might be wrong] that does not even charge a currency conversion fee should you use the card to pay for something which is not in the currency of the card. They do not even charge you to have the cards delivered.

The bitcoin debit cards [Bit-x, E-Coin, Xapo], in comparison, now seems to be very expensive. All of them have currency conversion fees of around 3%, some have month/yearly fees and in the case of Bit-x also a per transaction fee of 0.0002 btc and 1% banking fee. Then there is the order fee of anything from $11 to $20, the activation fee [if any] of also about $11 to $20, delivery charges of around $11 depending on the card and or a speedy DHL deliver for another $50 odd with Xapo.

I have both a Xapo and Bit-x card and will keep on using them as it offers a convenient way to spend one's bitcoin directly from one's wallet. One can however not help but take note of the fact that you are being smoked for every transaction. Xapo, Bit-x and E-Coin should take note. Their aim should be to decrease the fees and or eliminate them completely. With the current fee structure in place there is little incentive for anybody to use their cards compared to the others on offer.

Yes the others might not deal in bitcoin but its not that difficult to get your bitcoins into those bank accounts. And with their fee structures I'm pretty sure its going to work out cheaper as well.

Seems interesting these new startups,

What i got from Xapo support:
"The bitcoin price used to convert your purchases into bitcoin is an internal Debit Card Bitcoin Price that's visible to all debit card users."

Can you do us a favor taking some screenshot at the same time for these:

1. Xapo internal Debit Card Bitcoin Price in USD and in EUR

2. Coindesk btc price http://www.coindesk.com/price/

3. Bit-x open orders in USD and in EUR: https://bit-x.com/stats/orderBook

4. E-coin btc price https://www.e-coin.io/

What i want to do is to see the difference between each other, especially the Xapo btc price.
If you can do this i really appreciate it.

Thank you.

I don't think that many people are using Bitcoin debit cards. People are still not clear with the concept of crypto currency, many thinks that it is a scam and will loose their money, there is no future for bitcoins etc. Once all these doubts are cleared and people started trusting and using the bitcoins as mode of payment then there will be increase in the users of Bitcoin Debit Card.

Who should clear these doubts? there is no CEO, no company that invented the bitcoin. If these debit cards are free as the bitcoin is and small fee everyone will order and use it as it is very useful.

In fact they should have fee but not for everything.
And small fees are welcome, not those high.
Since bitcoin is new (not old) so these companies are new too, but the hope for long term doesn't shut down.

I think if one have a options to liquidate bitcoins easily without debit card then that will be best way to convert it to cash because these card will have some % of transactions fee but do not know how much. Surely these charges will more than exchanges fee.

Well it depends on how much bitcoins do you have.
If you have a small amount of bitcoin then it is not preferable to use bitcoin debit card, because of the fees.
But if you have a large amount of bitcoin then the fees are nothing compared to the total of cash after the withdraw.

After a few more months I will have that much Bitcoin to buy a bitcoin debit card.
My personal favorites are xapo and bit-x.

This is the best way to convert bitcoin to cash or purchase directly in POS
Also a good opportunity is to save the exchanges fee that take other exchanges.
Personally in near future will use any of them, currently just checking which is the best and lowest fees.

Yeah i know it every bitcoin debit card service charges these ATMs
And the rate seems to be the same xapo and e-coin.io both charges $2.50 to withdraw from ATMs.
And if you withdraw to another currency then automatically 3% fee will be applied.

I am looking to purchase one too, i have in mind only some of them.
First of all want to mention these "Bit-x" "Xapo" and "E-coin.io"
Bit-x and xapo are better to use as you can withdraw your "bitcoins" in cash at ATMs.
But for e-coin you have to convert bitcoin to fiat money in their website and then to withdraw them in ATM.
All of these that i mentioned have different rates and limits, all of them works with euro "€" too, just look for fees which fits you best.

Are you using XAPO as a wallet, or/and as XAPO bitcoin debit card?
If yes i have a question because i have to know the internal bitcoin price
When you sell your bitcoin to conver to fiat cash in ATMs what rate will be applied? comparing to Coindesk.com/price .

I guess that these cards are a good option if you need to buy something really bad or get the money out really badly. Fees are still quite high while using them. Can't wait that crypto gets accepted everywhere, then we won't be needing these! :)

Not for me. When it comes to plastic card i supposed that is only for my fiat and use it for daily spending. So i don't want bitcoin to be associated or linked to that for any reason.

I don't use any of these bitcoin debit card because I can easily convert my bitcoins to cash with very less fee compared to these debit card. That's why I never used these cards.

I am using BIT-X debit card and it is very good.I got it for free and there is no monthly fee for a card (first 10k users).
Entire BTC balance is available for spending. ATM fee is not that high 0.01BTC + 3% exchange fee.

I have to pay just ATM withdrawal fee and it is not a lot because it is the easiest way for me to exchange btc to cash and I do not withdraw so often.

That is awesome for you then,
Personally i find hard to convert to cash without any huge loss,
The best way is to find somebody locally or using these debit cards.

I don't have Bitcoin debit card but i think many people are using bitcoin debit card. I think that its not a good idea to use debit card for bitcoins, there are so many restrictions and limitations for the use of bitcoins. Only few people are accepting bitcoins instead of our traditional money, once bitcoins are accepted universally then the use bitcoin debit card will be increased.

Well bitcoins is not accepted worldwide but the list is growing.
Personally i prefer more to deal and pay via bitcoin rather than any other payment processor.
But the bitcoin debit cards make it easily like our locally debit cards and get the cash in a few moments.
