Hi guy!what do you think about current situation with Bitcoin?This rise and fall of the price. And what are you about to do with your coins? Are you withdraw it or simply waiting?

i think that right now the price will stay around the 400 dollar mark

i'm waiting, i don't want to sell because prices could go to high, but i will not buy more at this prices. If it goes down to 300$ possibly i would buy more bitcoins.

I hope we will make a new floor at around for $400. This is a great price for Bitcoin and a great recovery from low $220s. Honestly, before this run if someone has told me you will end up a year at $400, I would have taken it right away and without any thinking.

Looks like this was the big retrace that was severely needed after the huge increase in price.

It's just a question when it will pick up again, but I expect it wont take too long with current vibes.

The chances of the bitcoin price falling at this point is not very high so I would suggest you hold on to your coins.

Actually, the price is extremely volatile, and has been pretty much since inception. The chances of bitcoin falling at any given time are probably pretty close to 50%. One data point in support of this is that bitcoin has fallen about $80 in the last 24 hours, despite everyone getting super hyped about how fast it was rising.

Trade with extreme caution. Bitcoin doesn't trade like stocks, and the momentum swings are much more violent.

In just a matter of 5 minutes the price changed and goes down $20 and now it's playing up and down like an elevator from the $355 to $370. I'll hold on to it for now, i'm not yet in profit  :-[

The price is so volatile right now, that nothing is guaranteed. Honestly, I think it will level off around 380-390. I don't think it will hold above 400 yet. It is also too early to make any decisions to sell yet since the price keeps swinging. It's all over the place.

It touched $354 and is now sitting at around $365. When the price was going up people were soo excited and predicted the price to go to $600-$700 and now they are comming back on their words.

I actually never went that high i hope it goes to 450 to 500 , 600 tops  and stays there a while , then starts the climb back up maybe 6 months form now, to me and I'm sure others 450 to 500 would be nice to have a while , i would like to see it  at a stable 2 to 3k coin one day, everyone would might benefit at that point .



If I'm not mistaken one week/end during this climb didn't it do the same exact thing, it's doing now ? . well see by the end of the week/end and next week.


TO fast ,to, slow is bad, but at a slow steady increases, it seems to be better for bitcoins .

I would be surprised if we saw below 300 for a few months. I'm expecting the price to float around 325 and then, hopefully, visit the moon from there.

the bitcoin price down again to $360 today but i think it's time to buy and probably we will reach again $400 in this weekend

you cannot say that this is the correct time to buy because like how it climbed so soon, it is dropping very soon. after reaching $500 very soon it came down to $400 and now it is $355 and if i am not wrong it may go back to below $300. if bitcoin is going to behave like this then it is very bad new for bitcoin.

Goshdang. Bitcoin hit $480 last night, and I was hyped. But this morning, it dropped to $380. I cri. I'm still gonna hodl tho.

I m no day trader so I never trade until I see the market has shown sings of some kind of trend. Otherwise you might end up buying high and selling low.

i don't believe it will fall much lower, 330 should be the new low, the biggest pump initiated from there, i doubt we are heading at 230 again, would be horrible...

Well I was wrong about the floor at $400. We have touched $350 during the night. I must say I am quite disappointed. I guess that I just expected too much.

It would be horrible if we would retest $300 again. This would be a clear sign of the pump and dump.

I would have never guessed that we would end 2k15 with a price higher than 300 to be honest, so anything above 300 means goods new for me. I just hope it stays low because the lower it says the easier it is to keep making more BTC.

I agree now with keeping the price low so more can gather coins and do something creative with them.
I was all for the increase but now see it as a hoax which sent people reeling back to reality.
Now for the hardliners to commit to buying so we can get a real rally going again at the end of the year.

I think that at the moment there is to make a bit panic,
Maybe to sell the coins at the current price and i hope for a pump again.
We really don't want the price to go below $400 and it should be back and focus to $500

400$ will be stable price for this year, IMO

Wow, your people were much more tempered in their optimism. I frequently see people talking about 5-digit bitcoin prices. The irrationality and hyperbole is shocking, and even more shocking is how pervasive it is!

Bitcoin has now surpassed the $400 barrier. We were stuck for a long time at $400 and people got tired of waiting. Now that the price is moving again those people are coming back.

The Bitcoin price is already past the 400 dollar mark. It is on its way to 500 dollar now I hope that the price will keep rising so I can sell some coins and make a profit again after a long time.

Already it has touched the margin expectation. This thread is a long back expectation as the price by the Nov of 2015 was on the rising side which finally crossed $400 and moved towards $500.

I think even it can surpass 500 mark within few weeks from today hype is so huge for upcoming halving this time. 600 could be most stable price level onwards.

Bitcoin the value will always have a higher value but the only thing is that it is hard to know what there will happen with the value and that is the problem.
I hope that there will be also more people that is hoping that the value will be more and that it will rise in the halving, that should be so nice.

I think there will be no major increase to $500 or $600 to something big news of bitcoin.

Bitcoin is now already past the $400 mark, the price was at around $400 for a long time and this is finally over now. The price is moving up now and it is on its way to $500.
I hope that the price keeps rising until we hit $600.

it will continue to go upwards and hit 500 but for 600 i think it will be halted at 500 maybe months after the halving it will reach 600.

I don't think that halving will be having a significant impact upon the Bitcoin exchange rates. Already large number of short-sellers have accumulated Bitcoins, anticipating a big spike once the 2016 halving occurs. But the overall demand from traders is dull, and there is a chance that the exchange rates can go down if the speculation fails.

The time OP post this is the concern here about that $400 mark. The price is not moving up at it's current state. Nevertheless, it's just a normal market move.

I'm surprised this old topic bumped in 2016. The price of bitcoin now is over $400 and i'm sure it will keep increase until the halving is coming.

I do expect the price to at least touch $500 before the block halving, but I know it will be very difficult to get the price higher than $500 and to keep it there for quite a while. I just hope large traders don't get disappointed and start dumping the price down to current price levels after the halving.

Whatever some big traders might do, the development of Bitcoin will continue!
If they should decide to dump a bigger chunk of their coins I will highly appreciate that and collect a few. ;D

That is the right vision. Looking at the development of Bticoin and what is being developed as in segwit, confidential transactions, OP_CHECKLOCKTIMEVERIFY, LN, sidechains... so many good stuff coming very soon and so many idiots are still looking at 50 dollars up or down on the price.
The long term is looking better than ever, price fluctuations are irrelevant.

To a high extend I also agree that development has nothing to do with the current price. But it's just sad to see that not every one is appreciating these developments (when made) and start dumping like there is no tomorrow. But you are also right, the more they dump, the cheaper we can enter the market.  ;D

Yeah we got tired of waiting for the price other than $ 400. until when the $400 price will continue ? because we've been in this position for two months. many bitcoin exchanger volume also declined sharply. I think the price will continue to survive until halving arrived. lets see until where halving will bring the price of bitcoin up or down?

Nothing special happening now so i am just will wait for something. I don't belive that bitcoin will hit a limit lower than 400$ now and in few weeks it will rise againe for sure.

I am also waiting for something to happen with the price. The Bitcoin price will not drop this periode, hopefully the price continues to rise of this upcoming period because I really want to sell some Bitcoins and I do not want to wait a long time anymore.

Bitcoin will reach a higher value and that can be nice for the most people who are already using Bitcoin so they can maybe sell their coins with a huge profit.
The only thing that you must do is just wait for a better value so you can sell it with a better profit.

I agree the one thing with Bitcoin is that it is a big waiting game. You will have to wait for the price to drop if you want to buy and wait for the price to rise of you want to sell. But Bitcoin has already risen above $400 and it is on its way to $500. 

Yes 400$ milestone reach and its heading to 500$ hoping it reach nextmonth but for this upcoming halving event it will reach to high price further. So lets now sale our bitcoin let it stock and save it to our wallet in future we can get more profit with it if it reach to 700$ well what a big profit with us . Dont sale know and wait for the right time.

It will hit the 500$ mark after 6 months cause bitcoin is in a strong pace right now. It will continue to go up everyweek.

You see indeed that Bitcoin is getting more worth and the most people are getting happy from that because they see the opportunity to sell their coin and that would be nice.
The price kept stable for a long time and many people dont like it and I understand that.

i think bitcoin will reach $500 again within 2 months. i'm only not sure whether we can keep the price at that level for long, but we will definitely touch it.

Not only after 6 months we may see it even before may as of today you can see price already touching 440$ mark.

I think $ 500 is likely to occur this year. see today the price has started to move fast. getting prices toward $ 450

the value of the bit coin now is like 448. It hasn't changed allot in the time
i think he will go to 500 but not much more. there are allot of sites where you can see the grow and decrease of the coin.

Bitcoin is going to be more worth as you can see and that is because you already know that the halving will come and that would be nice for the Bitcoin.
The only thing is that you never know when the value is going to stop rising so that is quite risky.

Yes it has been becoming speculation of what wil happened after the halving, most of the experts think after halving the price will skyrocket perhaps in around 700$

bitcoin always been at $ 400 since January, a few months ago. and until now has not come out of this price.
The question is how long this will last?

The price of bitcoin have a huge fall down yesterday, and i hope bitcoin can hits 450++ and more. Especially when halving is really close now. I think it will keep increase soon.

Sad to see a drop in price but don't lose hope hereafter it won't suffer by price fall as due to halving instead it will increase and we were so curious to see the results, hope can see more positive outcomes in future.

Assuming everything goes smoothly, it is possible that the value to go up at $700. Actually, there is a chance that the price may go beyond $700 but it wouldn't stabilize at that point because users will start dumping coins and possible go beyond the support wall and a correction will happen. I mean, nobody is actually sure what can and will happen.

For me the rise and fall of the price of bitcoin  will not continue in the next few weeks. Because i knew the price is rise only in the next few weeks

The current situation with bitcoin is normal. The rise and fall of the price is normal about the bitcoin because sometimes the price down theyl buy more btc. If they buy kore btc the price will rise. I am simply waiting

we are waiting for the 500$ price of bitcoin this coming june ,better to buy bitcoins right now ,and hold them for a couple of months to have a higher profit

I also think the price will be around $500 in May or June. We do not want the price to rise too fast in the future.

It will not happen because there is no investment costs will continue to rise without prices declined slightly although in the end still rising but the fall in prices is a necessity.

Prices change on a moment's whim. A decline or a bubble does not show the true value of the currency, but rather, the overall trend should indicate some type of interpreted value. I mean... you can't really predict the future of the price completely, but for now I think that the price of bitcoins will steadily increase from now until [who knows when] and by that point we should have gained at least some profit in investing our time.

for me, i hope the rate of bitcoin will rise more until reach $600 and when halving come, its rise high more than $800  ;D 8)

by a recent price fall i lost my hope in price increase, we cant predict anything here but still i believe that during halving the price will rise to higher amounts and wont suffer any price fall till this year end.

Yeah bitcoin never touch $400 by the coming days. On recent fall many users felt bad of it, but now it is growing little. So we can expect price increase even before the halving.

I will still buy and hold, I do not panic when the price down, and it is actually good for me to buy bitcoin. I will continue to wait until halving brought to high prices.

When the price goes down, I am not panic at all. I will buy more bitcoin. The price will rise a lot in long term.

Now it's the time to buy because this will be possibly the cheapest price we could get Bitcoin at before the halving. I think it's the right moment to jump in and buy some coins if you have been undecided by now.

If there is no big pump, like the one we saw in 2013, you can buy at any price. You will make profit in long term.

I think before halving occurs you need not worry. prices will remain above $ 400. because before halving make a lot of people buy bitcoin makes a great demand for bitcoin. but I will not know what will happen after the price of halving occurs may remain above $400 or maybe more. hoping very much

With a low price like that, it is time to invest more bitcoin in order to have big profits after halving. Or maybe you can ear that instead of investing.

we will have to wait for price increase in that situation as if we all started to withdraw money from bitcoin by seeing that situation then bitcoin will go down to a much deeper bottom, and then it will be hard for us to benefit again from bitcoin.

The price will rise soon as the halving is near, guys let us save our bitcoins and do not use it in gambling, instead keep and hold it as you will see the good result after the halving. I am very positive that it will happen so just believe also as this is already predicted by the experts.

To be honest I would like it for the Bitcoin price to be around $400 again because I think that I want to buy some Bitcoins.

Yeah i also think about that the price will have a big drop after halving because if the price will continue to rise up to $1k per piece im sure that many users will sell their coins for that price and it will result for a massive drop which is good for other users who want to buy bitcoin a lower price and make a good profit :).

It is the rule of thumb of traders, the law of supply and demand can always effect the price of bitcoin. The market is just doing it's job to evaluate the price of bitcoin however in my opinion bitcoin will hit the stable price around $1000 or around there.

If you are an investor you will be happy if you see the price to hit $400 so you can buy again but if you are working and receiving payment regularly then we would love to see the high price to increase our savings and income.

That's what you called bells curve if the investors sell all their bitcoin it will have an impact in the market.
But my favorite of them all is the Elliot's wave, you can generate a profit of $10 per day with that method.

Yeah that is one of the best part of bitcoin because which ever will happen either huge up or huge drop we can still make a profit. How can i say? because we buy our coins for the price lower than $400 so we can earn a lot of money without doing except from holding it ;D.

That is true. If the retailers do not sell the bitcoin instantly, and keep the coins for a few days or weeks, that will increase the price a lot.

You may see that price after halving again, so do not worry but if it happens I am not sure when it may increase again.

Im simply waiting. When you posted this btc monetary value was 400$ but when I quote on your post it is at 600$ plus. I will keep some of my bitcoins at my wallet just stay there and others I will cashout since I need to purchase food for my family. But nevertheless I am keeping half of my earnings since I expect another rise to the bitcoins monetary value this year 2016.

Yes. Patience is a virtue. I hold the bitcoin since the $70 price in early 2013. I think I will hold the coin for much longer.

You did a 70$ investment which is about 10 times of that time but bitcoin price may have a peak and it is good if you sell it in that time!

Waiting and holding my coin, maybe this is the right way. I patiently waited for the coins to rise, then sold them. :)
