Bitcoin price fall to 425$ :o :o :o for 1 BTC.. Please share your thoughts about this price fall to know all.

I take this recent downwards movement in price just as correction and dont see in any case price to drop under 400 $ as this is bottom.There will be many periods of accumulations for natural and healthy growth which will be stable and long lasting this time.

Yes there is a fall of almost 30$ today but no need to worry.I think price will be between 380-420 $ range and will not fall further.There was a small drops in price each time it went more higher.

Yup Even I want it to be long last in upcoming days. If its drops to low price rate. What are all main reasons dude. Please share it. that would helpful to all we people Only. from past some we saw so many zigzag in price chart. My expectation atleast this time We can expect price will go up without so much breaks.

Yeah, the price has been super high recently. Hopefully this drop isn't a sign of a steep drop. I'm pretty sure that the price will stay above 400. Previously, there's been a couple of trends similar to this one. As unpredictable as the market can be, we can hope that it'll follow suit like before and rise stay somewhat consistent.

Nothing to worry about. It is normal patter for bitcoin. There was always pump of price in December and significant drop after the Christmas and in January.
If you recall dramatically low price from January of 2015 and people panicking about  'end of bitcoin' this price of $425 is not that bad.

This like the 4th thread i have seen asking this same question, why does it matter if bitcoin price moves,  mybe your a noob and havent been in bitcoin for years.  mybe im just used to the highs and lows now,  if you believe in the underlaying technology of bitcoin the price starts to matter less,  what i think about bitcoin now is what everyone will think in 15 years....... "i need it"  ;D

I hope the price tanks, so i can buy as much as possible.  Bitcoin is worth so much more than todays price, get on it before everyone else wakes up.

There is no reason to panic, everything is normal in the world of Bitcoin including the price decrease.If the price drops even lower, it will be a good opportunity to buy cheap Bitcoin.Due to the halving in the following year and speculation that 2016 will be a very good year for BTC, every opportunity for buying cheap is welcome :)

what you are telling is correct, it is actually profit booking by the big players who have bought in bottom and on high they are cashing out afte the christmas is over, so this correction was obvious you can see just the price increase their will be some profit booking and price will come down

when ever their is corrections of price that is the indication of buying back, so it is time if it goes below $420 then i think we can start accumulating it back.

yeah the price seems to be getting lower and lower over time now though im not too worried about it as i strongly believe that this fall is just a temporary thing that will change after a short period of time and bitcoin price will go up again, lets hope my predictions are very correct

It's quite normal now I think! It's holiday season ;D people will need some real money to spend so yeah... why not sell some bitcoins? it will go back to the normal price of 450 soon ;D we shouldn't worry! Things like this just happened a few days ago

it remind me when everyone was panicking and we were at 2xx range, for every move every one was thinking that we were going to sub 100 or wathever, people really need to chill out

there is no sub300 again for sure, at best you can see sub 400 like it happened, because of the festivity and because the 400-500 range is not rock solid

we didnt panic when it reached 200+ so why all of a sudden.  if you didnt sell your btc back then why sell now? hold it til 1k.

Hard to say that it is the bottom right now, seeing that the selling pressure is higher than the buying force present on the markets. Anyhow, this is nothing to be surprised of: people are converting their coins in exchange for cash to buy something for the holidays. Maybe if more and more merchants accept bitcoin as a form of payment, we wouldn't see this kind of a scenario ever again.

Withoud doubt some people is selling for buy some unnecesary things, too there are some investing funds making some liquidity after a really good trend

Well, we did see a tremendous increase at the start of December. It's likely that now that the holiday season is passing, people are beginning to sell off. The drop probably also incentivizes more people to panic sell.

How come price drops give incentives to people to panic sell? I don't see any good for the people who sold at all especially with a panic, all I can see are people willing to buy during this current price drops. Sub-$400 is possible, though it's kinda hard to reach that range.

Price actually are dropped to 410$. I expect that price tomorrow will be 380$. What's happen? Hope that there isn't any bad news. But usually this happen every starts of year, price drop and then rise :)

Healthy correction.. I can see it hard bottoming at about $360.. I don't trade fiat, but if I did, I'd get my buys in at $362.50-$365

Been offline for a few days and quite surprised to see Bitcoin rate drops at $417 (preev) or maybe lower than that. Looks like this is the start of it's downtrend since we don't expect any event that will help pump the price of Bitcoin.

I have seen people saying the price will go above $500 for Christmas and looks like it has taken a completely opposite route.  Maybe it will reach new heights in 2016 after the halving.

It fell by almost $60 which is a huge drop in just a day as the price since 3-4 days was $440-$465 and suddenly it just fell. I hope there are equal number of buyers too compared to sellers in the market to maintain this price.

That is not a sign of worry actually yesterday we had Christmas and after 5 days we will be new year so that some people are selling to get money to celebrate that upcoming new year but i think price will be remain above $400 till end of this month and than will go to up again around $450-$500 into next month.

This is bitcoin and it is normal to see a rise of 50$ or same drop in couple of hours.I am not taking it seriously because there is still lot more till we will see real stability in price of Bitcoin.May be in couple of years it will be predictable now it is trend in Bitcoin to see this higher rise/drop.

Now Bitcoin is being traded somewhere at an average price of 415 $.If we recall our memories a week ago happened same and price reversed from 405$ and then we saw over 455$.We should get used with this dramatic changes in price now.

BTC-E was very close to going sub $400, but not many traders take that exchange too seriously. Bitfinex $405!! That was close. I hope the dumping is done now. The price went down more than 10% today, it's enough.

That is true, but even at this price I am enjoying profits and I wish that it should reach $1000 mark but even if it remains stable at this price that is good news for me but there will more price fluctuations in the price of btc in coming months for sure and that would be the best time to buy when prices goes down and sell when the prices goes high and need to follow this cycle timely to earn good and quick profits.

Well we've seen the charts like this every year, there's a correction and then the market continues on as normal. We have to wait and see what happens after the sell off, that will give us a better indication of what is going to happen in the coming year.

Just idiots selling their Bitcoin to buy crap due the consumerist Christmas tradition. Once it's over, the sharks will come and get all of the cheap BTC, and by cheap BTC I mean low 400's.

Yep, it's a big drop no matter how you slice it.  It's at $418 as I write this on preev, and it certainly could go lower.  But that's bitcoin.  I didn't go apeshit when it exploded up to $500 just a little while back, and I'm not too concerned with this drop either.  It's interesting, it's bitcoin.

But instead of complaining, enjoy this show and also accumulate if you have some spare money.
At least I will do so if we should drop below 400.

It is just a small downfall that is a pattern in which bitcoin work, now it will move upwards so a good price to buy my friends buy as many as possible and hold it for a time horizon of atleast 6 month to break s cracking profit.

During Christmas time, the volume is low. So the price is more volatile than normal trading times. Nothing to worry.

The theory that people cashed out for christmas gifts is extremely doubtful. If that was the case the crash should have happened before christmas eve and not on the 26th. What is much more likely the reason is that whales manipulated the price downward. This is what whales do, they go fishing. At first, they pump up the price and stop, lots of people keep buying in until they realize the price rise is over. Then whales sell some large amounts in order to take profits, at last they are buying back when everyone has doubts (will price go back up or go even lower?) or worst case, they sell in panic. Very simple and effective.

It may even brake that 400 margin because people started booking profits. But if you're a long term player than no need to worry much because in 2016 the btc prices will be surely more than 600$. So you will get more than 20 to 30% profits in less than one year. So just hold on to it and it will soon stabilize around 400 or slightly less than that before take off. 

Don't worry, it'll go back up again. :)

Actually i thought sell some bitcoin on yesterday due to this price fall I was stop my idea. Better I can lend from any of friend.

The fact that people sell when there is some volatility, even if during an overall uptrend, just goes to show that there are still weak hands to rattle out there.

Don’t worry dude. This kind price pumping and dumping is normal in bitcoin price chart. Just focus about adaption from the companies that is life long solution reduce the price fall. Already Dell, Apple, Amazon are dealing bitcoin in their business. So no worries  Sure It will reach again for good price.

But how long price will fall when the price will go for good price in fiat.I think Just we need to spread what is bitcoin and its uses to the people who doesn’t aware of bitcoins. And many companies should adapt bitcoin to make bitcoin market value in demand. These are the Only ways, I think to make bitcoin in demand and high price.

Relax, it may be only temporary, bitcoin prices will definitely go up again, this price decline may be caused because xmaz and the new year, perhaps after that the price will rise again  :)

The thought was very nice, very true if the price bitcoin is determined by how much the users, but it is very difficult to invite companies or individuals to use bitcoin now because bitcoin is not famous like paypal, so maybe people prefer paypal than bitcoin because the use bitcoin leads to gambling, trading, etc., but I really like your thinking, so let us seek to introduce bitcoin by making them think positively about bitcoin  :)

Weak hands must be shaken out.  In my estimation, there is more downside to come, but it shouldn't discourage holders.  It's likely that USD:BTC will revisit 370.

It can happen, and I also think that once we hit around $390 or lower, many will pour money into bitcoin causing for another round of push. I love it when it happens. Lastly, weak hands should really be shaken off before we push higher highs.

I was expecting this fall these days, and that is why I sold several bitcoins when its price reached the $460 level, because a necessary correction was expected before jumping to the $500 level, the next resistance level.

yes maybe some people will think when bitcoin touched $ 450 then it is a good prosfek. I was a little advise wait until bitcoin exceed $ 500. There is the time you sell the entire bitcoin you have.

I believe $400 is the new bottom, which is not too bad for bitcoin to happen. Seeing as to what the bottom last year was and the beginning of this year.
I still see progress going on to bitcoin, so $400 being the new bottom is not too bad.

The prices stabilizes again. We reached $406 yesterday, now it is back at $423. Don't panic, just a short healthy price correction.

What is bad for some, for others it is a great opportunity to make profit.
Today the price ranges from 410-425$ and will probably remain so for several days.Although is possible that prices slip a little bit down, but I hope that will not fall below 400$.

why you think it is because of the end of xmaz and new year. Are people actually cashing out their coin for new year party than why it goes up before cristmas. I don't like to relate bitcoin price with these festivals, i can't get how this sudden crash happen.

I usually buy when I have the *opportunity*.  My life is busy, and I do not like to buy from exchanges nor give out my credit card info (I used to).

But, this latest price drop to +/- $420 gives me some incentive to go to my city's BTM, so with luck tomorrow I will have a little bit more.

I am stil thinking we will go under the 400 USD, therefore i placed my buy orders around the 380 USD.
Just 1 more little dump and i will be the proud owner of some new bitcoins.

I am also very tempted to buy more bitcoins, but the market is too unpredictable to me.
F.e. the chance that it will go down is as big as it will go up (to me)

Therefore will watch the market closely these days.

nah man. i don't think the price will go under $400. we have seen the low that was just over $400, and we are now moving forward. it will require more than a little dump to get the price below $400, support at that level is very strong.

We went down to $415, and now we're back up to $421, according to preev. I find it highly unlikely that it will dip below $400, we're probably just seeing an increase selloff from retailers due to more Christmas shoppers using Bitcoin.

Interestingly I think it should be at its highest point whereas some people believe a 2x at least on next months. So the current price must obey another circumstance .

That's pretty speculative. Most retailers who accept bitcoin immediately convert to fiat through a payment processor since it's too risky to hold bitcoin for any period of time for a business. If the price move was related to Christmas transactions, I would have expected to see it move prior to Christmas, not after, since that's when the sell-side activity would have been. But on the whole, I suspect btc retail just isn't significant enough to move the needle anyway.

It's still stable now at the same price. I don't know why people get so affected by the price these days when few months back people were thinking it may reach $100. Now $400 also seems too low for them. It may not reach 500 but I hope it stays at this rate till the next halving.

In European countries this is festival time People are fail to reach their PCs . till these holidays ends price will be little low only Once everyone settle again. Price start to grow again I think.

At this point we can't speak of stable prices. I consider stable to be when we are sitting above a certain price level for at least 1 month. I don't think it will dive under $400, but the chance is still there.

I find it kind of entertaining that everyone is scared because Bitcoin dipped during Christmas, a time when people are buying stuff for others. The market appears fairly stable at the low $420s, and it doesn't show any sign of dipping down any further.

The barrier is at $400 right now. I doubt we'll see anything below that for at least a little while, but your money is your money and not mine. I'm not telling you what to do with it.

Don't say never in the bitcoin world. In a heart beat it can drop to $300. With any thing from a war breaking out from a major exchange going defunct or a ceo of a tech giant going rogue and firing all their workforce. All these headliners in the news can influence bitcoin's downward spiral.

No dude price will increase for sure. If this price is ongoing also It will be upto January only after that price will increase automatically. Because traders and miners were out of their computer. And another reason due to halving price will increase gradually as well.

Can not understand the panic. The Bitcoin price is stable in a range between $410 and $430 since a couple of days. It is very solid in my opinion.
Do not forget: There are holidays in many countries which use and trade Bitcoin at most.

Think in going to have to predict a new price of around 460 for January.  500 would be nice but going by current trends I would say 460 is more of a safe bet.

There's no way to know what will happen if it goes to 400, it may go to 390 and start going up. It's a mistake to be left behind with fiat in your hand, but not to lose money in ups and downs temporarily as you hold in BTC.

I think the price is always going to fluctuate. As much as I wish this was a few years back so I could of bought loads of Bitcoin I can't see the value sliding much more.

These people aren't traders. These kind of people just invest to make a quick buck out of Bitcoin. At least, that's their plan. They get in panic once they see the price is falling down. They will sell to prevent a bigger loss. That's quite a dumb thing to do since you can easily hold your coins for a month and see the price go back up again. No loss, and you'll even end up having a profit. Don't risk buying back at higher levels. Just relax and hold.

Those are smart words that I will give recommendation to do for so many if they don't have their bitcoins tied up in anything that is high yielding.

Sure it will recover but the question is when. That is the key to know when to start trading again.
It has been 425 for the last 3 days now and the holidays has not helped it change much.
I and a lot of other would like to know when it will change as we all know it changes with good news in the market. Bring on the good news already. :-\

This view relies on the fallacy that what goes down has to come back up, or that high water marks will always be seen again. It just doesn't work that way. There is risk in continuing to hold bitcoin, and people need to recognize that. Bitcoin is not guaranteed to rise. Nothing is.

it stabilized. that's just it. it may not go beyond 450 before the mid next year. i doubt some big whale once again will manipulates its price.
420 is enough to lure investors and i guess they've proved their point.

I believe bitcoin is able to reach $450 again at least by the end of the month.

These are just normal market moves and if this doen't happen i don't think bitcoin will gain popularity like it have these days. Bitcoin is interesting because of its volatility. However some manipulation is making newbie to get afraid looking at the price dump and pump.

Instead if the price continue dropping i'm thinking to buy others BTC, i think the price will bost up in future and with the forthcoming halving so better have more coins when the value is higher  ;)

Bitcoin price can't stop at $425 as calkob said, and it is not dropping.
Only today the bitcoin price has been increased for 0.71% which is around +3 USD

I think the sellers do this. Or maybe there are no buyers for now because of what media did to bitcoin. When trust is back or whales buy again and demands get higher then we will back to our $400 plus loving bitcoin.

But now the value has gone much down than most of the predictions. I found most of the users calculated the value to be around 385$ to 400$ but it has gone down of it

No need to think, the price is much lower than 425$. It takes atleast 4-5 months to reach
425$. $25$ is possible only if the world market situation gets changed

Manipulations are feeding with those uncertainties, with bad news, etc..
Also every speculation about bitcoin adoptance will bring price rise.
This is perfect investment buy every time when falling and sell at the top..

Right now there is soo much tension in the air. I am expecting a significant price decrease this week which might cause the price to drop to $330 as the lowest price. As soon as my fiat deposit to my exchange posts before Friday, I will nicely place some buy orders all the way from $350 down to $330. If btc gets more users for example 10x more users in next five years, you can expect price rise couple of time from this price. And after five years many will ask themselves
why didn't they jumped on the train in 2016 year when price was ...

Yes the question is will there me 10x more users now that altcoins are gaining some popularity. If people realized that altcoins can also offer what bitcoin is offering at a faster time then Bitcoin might have some problems.

The price won't go low as 250$. This price will go low till $350. Later it may increase gradually but, its not gonna go high to 450$ within a short time. To the max the price can be found stable over the range of $400.

The support above the $300 level is simply too strong to let the price fall below $300. We might see the price go a bit lower from current price point, but definitely not sub $300.

I too am waiting for it to reach $500 since 3 months as I am still holding my coins bought at $490. I think we would need to wait till end of this month as the price seems to rise above  $420 at least end of this February we may see bitcoin prices testing $500 levels. Should be possible with the rally its currently having. Bitcoin really needed this one. Were basically back to the 425 that occured in December, still has more potential to rally another 25-50$ before a possible decline again.

It really depends on the goals of the people when they are thinking of buying themself some Bitcoins. If their goal is short term profit, then entering the market right now is ok but there is chance that the price will fall back to sub $400 prices. If their goal is to hold for the long term, then I fully say YES!

Yeah $450 is good value to hold at a moment and it will be good to see it stable for next couple of weeks, as it is predicted that the price of bitcoin will cross $500 mark at the time of halving.

what news could you possibly think of that may push the price to $450 these days. good news doesn't have much impact on the price anymore. bad news however can still make people instantly panic sell. that's the weird thing. i think it's due to the fact that some people in their mind still think that the price may crash to very low levels.

well price is 432$ to be correct at this moment, and best part, is that price will rise only now and i hope that it won't fall, probably because of halving and that everyone buys lots of bitcoins

This kind price pumping and dumping is normal in bitcoin price chart. Just focus about adaption from the companies that is life long solution reduce the price fall. Already Dell, Apple, Amazon are dealing bitcoin in their business. So no worries  Sure It will reach again for good price.

i think the price will soon start falling once again because it is still not the time of halving so that was just an ordinary temporary pump that will not hold

Expect them but they won't be delivered until we get closer to this halving you are mentioning.

You could be right. The big rise last time was during the European financial crisis, that helped the price.

This time, the price rise could just be caused by the mass adoption of the bitcoin. There is no more Mt Gox.

We still have large number of whales around, they can manipulate the price and make money out of it.

I also believe that Chinese are the one manipulating the pump and dump of this coin. Just check out some articles and they even pointed out the China is the most country who hold the most bitcoin volume.

The volume in the Chinese exchanges are just fake. They do not change fee, so the volume can be millions.
