Can you tell us more about ranking system, i don't think 1 or 2 months will be enough for someone to become hero member and earn 1000 satoshi/topic.
Promotion is nice, but you still need to limit this i am sure lots of people can sit whole day and create large number of new topics, especially in hmm...all sections.

Even though the board and sub-boards looks similar with bitcointalk.org, i think this forum might be doing well if you can find loyal members.
Maybe you should do some promotion, add local sub-board and make some thread to encourage people to join your forum.

Im glad that theres another bitcoin forum have been created but its just like to the past forums that are being introduced here before and also the template and design being used on your website i do already see it before but in a different name(which i cant remember now).Im not discouraging you but people will really tend to go on the most reputable bitcoin forum which is here. Well good luck, you really need good advertisement regarding on your new forum.

It looks like BItcointalk.org. Where do you get the script ? In my opinion, people will never get attention if you use .website domain. Try to buy some domains like .com, .org, .net. Believe me, I have experience about making websites and advertising people. And good luck to you, hope that you will know how to run this forum in at least a year

Bitcointalk uses Simple Machines and the default them. The top right corner of the forum gives it away.  ;D

looks pretty good for a forum and templates very light, I think it needs to try to create an account there, probably to get the latest news there that I have not found in this forum

Just updating some info about the forum that I see on another thread about the same forum.

Now you can earn some satoshis by creating threads, replying to users, etc... It's like a Signature Campaign, but paying lower amounts of satoshis, give a look.  :)

It looks like they are paying 200-1000 satoshis for topics and 50-100 satoshis for new replies. That is not even 1 penny per post  :-[

Give him a discount, the forum is brand new and doesn't have members yet. It's just a way to boost his forum and make people sign up and write some posts. With the help of community he can get enough traffic and, who knows, increase the rewards or some people can create cheap signature campaings there, with lower rates than BitcoinTalk Forum, accessible to users anyway.

You can't blame OP if the site is like bitcointalk because all simplemachines forum looks like this, and as for the pay per post it will be nice also if you give higher rates because no one will try it if we cannot earn even 1 cent in a single post. If I werr you @OP make a giveaway or a contest to make people cme to your site and to earn more traffic and to have more members.
Giveaways like you have make 30 posts minimun in order to join those giveaways, which few amounts of bitcoin is the award. And to that every week so everyone will always post there and the forum become active.

I have tried another bitcoin forum which similiar with OP link, in the end the forum is dead. i remember forum site which give a free altcoin through voting coin and using simple machine script too, when mintpal still prevail.
OP should some giveaway(bitcoin or altcoin) which can attract people to use the forum, if OP just make a same bitcoin forum like this forum did, it will not crowded, unless OP have a unique features/content(in terms of the thread, or anything which unique) and have plus point.

Sadly people blame OP because the site looks similiar with this forum.

Yes, it would be too hard to run a forum now a days as admins need to keep on doing some fruitful activities to hold and make members to come back. I also had a bad experience by starting a money making forum and abandoned after 3 months due to lack of sponsors and members. Needed very big budget to survive.

This is very nice contest, forum has 30 sections so its possible to win 0.0015 - 0.009BTC/week. I think this should reduce spam. Hm, i don't see scam section in forum, you should add it - more scam warnings in different places - less scammed people.

Hello everyone, I was too much busy so that I could not reply. As lol3c said, I want to move this website to this new domain cointalk.club. I think that will be more appropriate for this forum. If it low budget, you should to hard work to build a SEO and marketing to expose your forum, using low amount to let people advertise to your site will be good movement to collecting funds, do not make image of your forum bad let scam site advertise on your site, its should be selected. Also like what i have said above, uniqueness features probably the most influential to attract people join.
Let's take an example https://cryptocointalk.com/ that site still pretty crowded, they have good altcoin giveaway, which be a plus point.

I will add scam sections, but I need some times. No one likes to be scammed. So, its really an important thing. :) :) :)

But actually its very hard to spread your furom if ypu don't have any budget to advertise it and people cannot help your cause since they will surely leave your furom once they seen that traffic are pretty low, thats why you need to put up some little effort fpr advertising so you can see some better result from it, and actually your big competitor is bitcointalk thats why new furom will get a hard time to introduce themselves on this industry.

The procedure for spreading it is simple just try to start your own sponsored services at that forum and invite people to there from here or other places to take advantage from the service and start paying for posts or start a signature campaign for any of your product or blog so people will start to post on that forum.

There are many ways to start promotingyour website we have PPC paid traffic from adword planner facebook twitter instagram social medias will work..
But the problem upon checking your  forum there are few post..better to increase more post hired some poster and pay for bitcoinuntil you can get enough threads and post. before you can promote it.
Forum is not fast to have minimum traffic it takes few months or years to get the good traffic to your website and more members to come..
Also better to change your domain into .com it is more easy to rank some of your thread from your forum..
Do seo and post trending and good long tailkeyword that can attract people to join in your forum..

I really like how your forums design look. I mean ... even though it does not looks modern, I really like how to place the advertisement in places that will not obscure your website. It is very user-friendly from a point of view of someone using forums for a few years now.

I think, if you have enough budget, you should get a more responsive and modern looking theme so that you can attract people who do not know how to use forums to your ... forums.

just checked your forum it is just copy of this forum but you dont have running the signature campaign so i think the users are only able to earn through your bounty program and that is too low and the task is high, so i think it will take some more time to get the forum in main stream.

I think so. But the main problem is my country doesn't support bitcoins and paypal. A few are supported but there are many problems with them. And I am under 18 so that I am not eligible for any credit cards. So that, I have to earn bitcoins and after then I can use them.  :'( :'( :'(

Agreed, if you want to get attentions to your forum then do some giveaway or promotions and the position of your ads is not great bro, it's great if the ads are in the middle and not in the side.

Yeah, but you know there are 1000s of knuckleheads who would salivate over that paltry amount.  You get people on this forum who would cannibalize street urchins just for a few satoshis.  Having to shitpost all over a carbon-copy forum is pretty tame by comparison.

I think giveaways won't really help since it doesn't have assurance that people would stay on his site and provably people will just go there just to get the giveaways only and chances are big that they will make an multiple account to claim more bunoses, and promotion might be helpfull but surely he will get some hard time and make his advertising stratehy more unique and catchy so people can see that this furom is worth to stay with.

Congratulations on running your own forum,it's not easy to run a forum,you will encounter a lot of problems internal and external but the most important issue that you are going to face are active members that are going to populate your forum.

Advertise your forum on twitter and facebook. Post the link with some informations about the forum. For an example: how much people can earn by creating threads, by replying others...

I don't know if it will work 100%, because most people aren't interested in low rewards, they want to be rich without doing nothing. A good forum system would be with a satoshi generator system implemented. You can adjust how much satoshi you give on generator proportional to the income of ads and the traffic of members.

Maybe just the top should down a bit more, so we can see the picture better (I think it's a bycicle, no?).
And the forum content (avatars, letters...) descrease its size a bit more, so the ads could be better allocated.

Yes it's a bicycle but this picture has been cropped by the theme maker so that we will not be able to see the full bicycle. :'( :'( :'(
It's good point. But I think font size is perfect for this theme but avatar will be better if decreased the size. And I want to remove the side ads, what do you think about it?

You are telling that your country dont support bitcoins then what is the use of this forum when you cannot support it and i think you should be knowing that signature campaign are runned by the company it means of advertisement and for that you dont have to pay but you have to run promo so that new sites come to your forum and do advertisement and pay users to advertise their product

Noticed about the payments tab now, good. Would be nice to have informations in payment tab about how many posts were made and how many threads were open by that respective member.

About the ads, I think would be nice to have their on both sides, that is why I told you to decrease the fonts and pictures size, so the ads can be placed on right and left with all the content in the middle. That is just an opinion. Keep improving it and more people will have interest on your forum.

But I can support it in a part. And, it need times to populate this forum and then advertisers will come but now no one here. I will run promo but I have not a lot of experiences (because I am newbie and 17 years old ;D).

Similar backstory here. My only online income source (and output) will be Bitcoin. I have a lot of interest in running forums before I learn about Bitcoin. I opened a lot of forums ranging from graphic forums to gaming forums to even a promotion forums. However, most of them failed because I do not have online epayment access to purchase top-level domain for my forums. All this changes when someone introduced me Bitcoin. Long story short, now with signature campaign payment, I opened two popular Bitcoin lottery site that have top-level domain and steady (SteadyTurtle :p) paid-hosting plan.

I'm sure Cointak.club will be able to overcome this hard period and become a successful crypto forums if you continue to manage it well.

However, I would really suggest you to start small. I mean ... running a paid forums is kind of a big idea. And since your only online income source will be ... online, I really doubts if your forums can survive. I'd suggest you to start when you have more resources and and access to online payment method - one more year for you :).

If I had more resources, I would buy top level domain for my forum and turn my website into top paid forum. the site has most similar sub-boards with bitcointalk.org, but it is not bad because the appearance is not really like this forum.

I saw you add some colours and pictures. it is interesting. I also saw the members in not in high amount, so keep advertising the site.

It would be nice of there were other forums besides bitcoin talk where you could do campaigns. Maybe you could start a new trend ?

As i saw on the forum stated on the OP i could say its really a copycat on this forum and i hate there are too many ads better lessen that and if you like to expose your new forum and if you have the budget then you should run a campaign.

It looks good and running successfully. Good thing with it is the addition of various other sections in with very simple language. Lot other service addition is found, but promoting through different forms were required to make it more successful than the present. Already Op mentioned about the signature campaign, so something similar to signature campaign and trading availability grab the attention of more users from various other forums.

Wow this is free advertisement. Is this allowed in this forum? I thought it is really strict here for deleting some posts that are not useful for their own.  ;D Even if it is being thankful to the ones who are helping others. Such silly moderators.

I must really commend you for keeping it real till this time as maintaining a forum is not always easy as we are most likely addicted to bitcointalk.org here. I also say that its not going to be easier soon as people get aware of the forum, they check it out, something needs to keep them coming and that's the hard part which you really need to work on @op. You have a point though they are both cryptocurrency related forums on which similarities will surely be present on some matter.As ive visted again on the new forum i could say design is good and now a simple one and ads are being removed which is good. On your forum everything is mostly the same as bitcointalk so it is hard to think that people will join that readily for getting the traffic of posters you need to introduce something special on your forum which will greatly benefit the members of your forum.

I have a few suggestions for your forum so that you will get it with high traffic.

1. In the start try to not add advertising banners on the forum at the header so that people do not feel annoying from there.
2. Try to train people from your friends and family to give the start to your forum as they will consider it as their own forum and they will not feel useless to work on an empty forum.
3. for giving more interest to the posters you need to start a signature campaign on your services section. It will boost up the participants and then more companies will like to come to join your forum.

I think most of bitcoin related forums are duplicate of bitcointalk. and this is one of the reason of the failure of new forums.
new devs must try different designing and layouts and better theme. than their site may get some user attraction.

If the forum is just copycat of bitcointalk, it will not be survive because bitcointalk is better and more famous than new forum. So must there are other value in new forum that there are no on bitcointalk.

Most of the new forums that are coming out that are related to bitcoin are using the same which is SMF.

And also almost all contents are just copy cat of bitcointalk it's going to be hard for you to get members if you don't have something unique in your forum.

Totally it will not survive since many people would surely stay at bitcointalk rather than speding their precious times on unknown furom with no great interaction nor information that they doesn't found on bitcointalk, but if he have great ideas to run it well its truly better to do some massive hardworks since bitcointalk is a giant competitors on those newly build furom,

if they trying to build new forum related bitcoin very similar such as bitcointalk yes indeed those forum will became dead forum because the members more likely to choose bitcointalk as the biggest bitcoin forum because i have been register on several forum related bitcoin some times ago but currently they had disappear because no active members at there and i think if there is someone want to build new forum he must find something else unique because if those forum too usual then i'm pretty sure soon or late the forums will shutting down

Guys, I was travelling and spending my vacations, so that I was not here. Hmm, I am seeing many thoughts of you! But listen what I am saying. Both forums are based on crypto currency. So, what's the problem of similarity??? Besides, there are many features that do not exist here. And check the previous replies, you will find my answer for the problem of signature/other campaigns.

i think its a good website, i see there is an opportunity to be growth more than other crypto currency forum at least you need to spread into social media so people will come into your site. for the content, i think with the member and you as the founder, the forum will need more to be like cryptocointalk or bitcointalk.

It is very hard to get active members for a copy forum like this. Specially when your competition is with bitcointalk.

Try introducing paid to post feature. That is the best way to promote and get active members. I have moderated many forums earlier. So if u want I can help u with this.

That is good that you came back for the support of your forum. I have a question that as your forum is working the same as Bitcoin talk then it also have the same activity system which Bitcoin talk have or you do not have that feature?

It have activity system and there is a activity bar on each profile... But member ranking depends on only posts...

It is nice to have another forum of bitcoins, more alternative to promote sites and discuss bitcoins issue

It is not possible to have an activity system like that with anyone as this activity system is created by the bitcointalk developers and is not created by simple machine forum developers so is not available on the net for free.

It's true that I don't have the plugin for the activity system like bitcointalk... but, my forum is not good place for spammers... For spamming, there are 0 tolerance... So, no one can increase their ranking by spamming... They will loose his account, all topics and posts made by them if they do spam... :)

There are almost same privileges for new and ranked users, I don't want to make restrictions like bitcointalk. Everyone can use avatar and signature with many BBCodes.

will you make this strictness from the start? If you will make it from the start then you know it will be much hard for you to get the traffic to your forum. In the start you will have to be a polite.

I think it is good and important to set good foundation of rules in the early stage, so when the forum grow bigger, it will be easier to maintain, if the moderator let it loose, then when the forum grow bigger, it is going to consume a lot of time to find the spammer

I have already started this strictness from the begging. I have also taken action for 3/4 users. If people do spamming continuously and I do nothing, then who will come to my forum to see some spamming posts? And I am not worried about traffic. I don't want any spammers traffic.

That is good it looks like you have taken a serious step. I was just curious that how is your planning about the forum as there are thousands of people who start forum and leave it dead for bots to take over.

Can you tell me which Mod is you using for preventing the bot to enter the site. with my forum the bigger problem is the entrance of bots.

Which is important to manage it well. Hopefully it can continue to perform and can last forever.

I am using cloudflare for primary protection. And there are some mods such as CleanTalk, anti-spam, Login/Register captcha etc... But a question, how do you detect that "this is bot" and "this is human"?!! ::)

After looking at the signature campaign thread a suggestion came to my mind. The suggestion is that as your forum is a new forum and do not have much users on the forum so none of the person will start a signature campaign for on your forum and the activity will remain lower so if you start a self sponsored signature campaign on the forum then some of the members will come and will start discussion on the forum. That will be a good start for you.

bitcointalk is so well established that i dont think any new forum has any chances to thrive no matter how good it is. people are so used to come here and everyone is here already.

It only need the support and some investment from the owner of the site/forum to give it the success. You are right that bitcointalk is the most famous for the crypto discussion it is because of their early struggle for bitcoin and its forum.

Forum built on Simple Machines as I think, Good start but you should at least display SMF logo or "Powered by SMF" as our bitcointalk forum
do  ::). Anyway I think you should work on design more, and as special content that users will found exceptionally in your Forum

It is not difficult to detect any bot in any forum. the bot is those users who only post without knowing the language of the forum and they do not consider that which country the forum belong. The clear thing is that a bot is that which start positing continuously one thing again and again without any rule and without knowing about the traffic of the forum.

I see that this forum looks like a bitcointalk.org about the content and design. Sometimes I feel confused which one is bitcontalk.org or which one is your forum ? you need to creat new and significant design for your forum .

That's because they're built on the same 'Platform', Judst like wordpress if you ever heared about it, He have now the default design, its so popular

Folks, my forum and this one is built on the same platform. But my site's looking was different, but I have to use default because most plugins doesn't support other customized themes. And, yes that's just an alternative of bitcointalk. But categories and boards are not 100% same. If you make a deeper look, you will find this. Many new features are available that don't exist here in bitcointalk. And I am planning to create subdomains such as ru.cointalk.club , bn.cointalk.club for different languages. In bitcointalk, there are some poor boards for local. ::)

I know how much you love the game Assassin's Creed, but you didn't have to use that theme on you new "Bitcoiner's Forum" you were talking about. Paying attention to details will get you far, and by the looks of it you don't even give a feel and vibe of a bitcoin forum. If you really want to make a nice forum them make it simple and offer something new. Not just copy this one and just put a spice of your own liking. Tip, ditch the damned assassin's creed theme, it's not an assassin's creed forum!

It is right that if the admin will change the settings of the forum each time a person complaint then it will take a huge time from him and he will not be unable to give time to other features of the forum.

His current theme is Ok but I think admin will change it too if someone another came to point out another thing.

I like you Forum, it is new that's why only a few members are here, but you should still do publicity than definitely within month this forum give you good response. But for me, it look like bitcointalk, even same like a copy.
People will give you response but slowly, so don't break your struggle, You know, every new project need some time, So good luck.     

I think it is not hard to bring the crowd of people to that forum if he follow the strategy of bitcointalk. Like if he will give some opportunities of their members to earn some money then people will readily join that forum and will stay for longer to discuss on that forum.

The other way to bring crowd on his forum is to take the start from his friends. when his friends will work on the forum the forum will start some earnings and after that with that income he can start some earning opportunities for the members.

Do you mean that the site is taking too much time to load fully? I think the problem is in your internet connection because I also checked the site and it is not taking much time but it fully loaded for me within a second or two.

The thing about forums is not actually about creating it or even doing publicity about the whole thing. Its definitely more than that because if that is how it works quite a number of forums and even more would have been around. The issue Op should really worked on is not about getting people to get to know about the forum because quite a number of people will want to just give it a try, but the fact is WHAT WILL KEEP THEM COMING? If that is not discovered, then there is nothing anyone can do.

It is still much better to use the original forum rather than to risk on this thing. That has no assurance where you gonna heading it. Maybe reserved for now, and monitoring what will happen in the near future.

And why is the reason you would like that migration anyway? The only valid reason I can think of it having higher level account to participate in signature campaigns.

Good initiative, it's always important to have more places to talk about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general. As a suggestion, I think you should improve marketing if you want to expand your forum to a larger audience.

you think http://cointalk.club/ is another forum who created by Bitcointalk,no dude that diffrent so i think if you already sign up there for sure started with newbie account.

Making some promotions like signature campaigns, giveaways make people go back there but if it's just a simple forum for bitcoin, crypto related news, discussion, why should I go there if there's already here? just simple logic. 

And to those who will try to register there make sure that your username and password used in this forum is different. Just saying.

I think there will be users posting there even if you just pay about 15k sats per posts. If you want some quality posts from new comers in the crypto, try this site. contentgather.com they can provide forum posters. Webmasters who are creating their own forum are using their services to have contents on their websites.

Contents are very important for websites, its what google gather in order to serve who ever searches the net for information.

Won't there be conflict of interest, promoting a substitute/alternative service forum on BCT? The forum will need to offer more than what BCT offer to attract significant attention in my opinion, BCT is more than a forum to most of the users, to some a market place, to some online job centre and so on.

The one thing which I noticed on this forum is bitcointalk is a centralized forum while I hope that the new forum of alamin will be a decentralized forum and he will not try to distribute the power to every participant of the forum and he will not let anyone to insult other.

I think much better to hire forum poster or thread maker for daily basis. so that you can get more thread and do some seo but never experience to do seo in .club domain extension.. and register in many forums and use your forum as your signature.. to increase more visitors also do some thread that can be trending so that you can get more people join in your forum..

great name nice design and good addons you will need to get more members to join then maybe offer them a reward to bet members to join I now you in early days at the moment   but only having under 100 members what help you get new members maybe do a signature campaign on here or get some partners to spread the name and website address of your forum and use some bitcoin ptc site or ad networks will drive more traffic to your site.

Curious to understand what are the revenue sources on your forum for any user who becomes the member of your forum? Does it have many micro earning thread, signature campaign and pay rate at par with forum, freelancing opportunity like here. Since you also are using this forum to market your forum which means ideally part of this forum is much better isn't it?

I Visited your forum just a minute ago and it looks good in design,has many different sections like bitcointalk but unfortunately you still have very few members.
It is very severe to grab traffic from this forum to alternate because bitcointalk is using advanced method to adhere people however not bad to remember cointalk.

I just took a look at your forum op, I agree it looks great but as far as the people you're promoting and sharing it with can't be attracted to join or spend their time there just because of it's looks or add-ons you have added. This is a basic security just for preventing spammers and automatic bots. At early ages, the forum faced attacks from these. So beside many security updates, I have added some simple questions related with crypto currency. And ByteCoin is very popular altcoin and it's currency code is BCN.

your forum looks good op and has a lot of features compared to bitcointalk.org, but the only problem i see is there are only few users are active everytim i visited the site. i guess you need to promote it hard on social medias or on asignature campaign to got a lot of people in your site and also you can add some twist like running a contest to win btc as prize to attract more costumers.

Yes, there was a pay per post campaign on cointalk but on cctalk there isn't any. We are looking for natural traffic, but it seems that people who usually comes to participate in campaign are always temporary and leaves when the campaign is over. So we prefer creating good reasons for joining than making money making programs. :)

I see, we can't blame people that are only for the campaign but still there are faithful members that are for the exchange of knowledge about crypto and just want to meet other people in some platforms. This guy installed vulnerability on my site, hacked my faucetbox account and stole away my bitcoin, then sent virus to my email and hacked my account infos last year, stole some bitcoin from a-ads.com publisher account. After doing all these he came to me and admitted he was the one. I forgot him but he kept disturbing with emails. Last week he contacted me again here on bitcointalk and I never knew how he got my bitcointalk ID.
He built that so called forum with the BTC he stole in 2016 and that site is yet another trap he has set to steal peoples ID and possibly hack into their email or computer so he can steal more.

For the BTCTALK users, the summary is we had some personal issues with each other and so I hacked his websites and took 0.044~ BTC which was worth 20~21$. This incident happened almost 1.5 years ago. Both of us forgot about it. But recently when I was cleaning my emails, I got the old emails from that person and remembered that incident and felt bad, so I wanted to repay exactly what I took from him regardless of BTC price. 0.044 BTC = over 400$ as the price is 9500$ now. But this guy started spamming in my threads which doesn't make any sense.
