Title: [VUC, CHC, SIGT] 🚀 mining-enthusiasts.net - 0.25% - NEW ALTCOINS!
Post by: Krisso on July 13, 2017, 06:15:28 PM
We are a team of experienced dev-op engineers that want to bring a secure, scalable and stable multi mining pool to the community with a great single sign on (SSO) frontend. You just register once and then use your account on any of the offered pools - just update your wallet information and get mining!

We bank on coins with tremendous potential in the future and we want to offer a place to mine coins with excellent support from our side and a place where almost all profit goes to the miner - the person who spends all the energy, electricity and hardware cost in the first place!

Mining Enthusiasts is only taking a 0.25% fee on any pool to cover server expenses and everything else goes to our miners!

Of course you can always choose to donate some of your hard earned coins to support our cause! 😇

We have a great scalable system at hand and are ready to discuss improvements based on demand from our miners:

  • More pools in different regions besides Europe
  • Different payout schemes: PPS/PPLNS (we currently run the simple proportional payout system)
  • Support for other altcoins
  • Pool forums

Sign up and start mining as easy as hitting our VarDiff straturm server with your account information!

Thanks for joining us and have fun mining!

How much is the minimum payout?
And to receive the coins is just like the other cryptos like: mining, send to wallet and than change on a exchange?
(because this coin is something new for me and I saw a video the guy told that to participate you have to buy 1000 tokens, I'm confused sorry =) )

If you want to run a Chaincoin master node (see https://chc.masternodes.pro and http://www.chaincoin.org/how-to-set-up-masternodes/) you need 1000 CHC in a wallet, then you can use that wallet to start a master node.

Normal mining, with minimal payout of 0.1. On registration you input a CHC receiving address from your CHC wallet and then do what you want with it, once you get the payouts.

See: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/chaincoin/#markets

Cryptopia and Novaexchange currently have CHC on their exchange. With the craze around this coin and the HODL movement, I personally think more will follow.

Hope that helps!

Hi, newbie here.  I'm trying to mine ChainCoin, but I only found the sgminer and it seems it doesn't like my 3 x 1070 GTX and crap out an error when I tried mining ChainCoin with it.  I see that you seem to say to use ccminer?

Yeah, make sure to update your NVidia drivers to the latest version and remove all overlcocking. Get ccminer alexis78 and get it up and running. Once its running, only increase the core clock in steps of +10 until it gets unstable.

I took that version.  Is this good?  I'm using it now on the pool.  also, I got hashrate of 36MH/s per card (I suppose?)  I have 3 x GTX 1070.
http://github.com/KlausT/ccminer/releases

I see that the accepted shares are at 99.55% on every share, but when I started, it was at 100%, is this good too?

Also, big newbie question, I use to mine only using the NiceHashMiner that was paying every day in BTC and I could then withdraw from the NH wallet.   Now, I created a CHC Wallet using the wallet I downloaded from the chaincoin.org web site.   It's my first time mining in a pool, so how does it work for the payout? I suppose at some point my payout are sent to my CHC wallet ? (what are the fees?).    If I want to exchange my CHC for some BTC later on, or just sell them for USD$, I need proceed how? :)   So much newb quesitons.  i just want to payback my rig first as fast as I can (I took a small loan and still have 2k$ to payback on it).

Ha you wish it was per card, thats actually your current "total."

1070s is around 13mh per card.

The ccminer version I'd suggest is ccminer-alexis. You're total hashrate is probably around 40 MH/s with 13 MH/s per card. 100% acceptance rate over several hours of mining is quite hard. Sometimes your internet is lagging, or your GPUs need longer to calculate a share and then your result gets rejected. It's normal to not have a 100% acceptance rate, as long as the reject shares rate stays below 10%.

Most of the pools (including this one) pays out in the currency you are mining. Thats why you have to provide a CHC address on signup, so your shares of the block reward can be send there. As the post states the fees are only 0.25% and everything else goes to the miners. Indeed you can exchange your CHC coins to BTC and even USD using an exchange. Google 'Novaexchange' and 'Cryptopia', those are the ones trading with Chaincoin.

Getting ROI (return of investment) for your rig with CHC is currently very possible :)

All systems running normal here, people are mining and stratum is responding. What's your complete command line?

After going through the logs, I found:

[2017-07-14 06:18:17.630] [DEBUG] [default] - Pool chaincoin Thread 1 Unauthorized newmmz.chain1:XXXXX [111.220.93.213] (XXXXX put there to obfuscate).

Make sure to have the Worker name and password in your ccminer line like so:

Code:
-u newmmz.workername -p password

Hi,

Just starting using this pool. Waiting to gather a bit of coins and then maybe even donate a bit :)

BTW you mentioned ccminer from alexis. I only found his git. Are there any windows precompiled binaries somewhere ?

Thank you so much!

One thing that is bugging me is that I cannot login to the site from my android. Using Android 6 and Chrome.
When logging with wrong credentials >> gives error messages
When logging with correct credentials >> no error messages, but I still see the login page, and on refresh I'm not logged in.

I have even reset my password. On Desktop works fine every time.

Loving everything else, including the very fast response on this thread!

One more Q, sorry if I'm getting tiresome :)

My Dashboard reports hashrate fine, and shares, but on Balance I have 0 in both confirmed and unconfirmed.

Would those fill in time to my estimated coins per day or I may be doing something wrong ?

Thank you again for all you're support

I'll try and have a look at the Android issue, I'm on iPhone and it works great - so you'll have to be patient. Yes, your unconfirmed balance goes up every time the pool finds a new block. Then everyone gets their shares as unconfirmed balance. The amount you get depends on the computing power you have put into finding the solution. If you look at the last found block, you where the one to find the solution:

User Name    Type.         Round Shares   Round %   Amount
andu2flo.       Credit       18,964               2.06.       0.12365857

You should now have that as an unconfirmed balance. Now the pool and everyone part of the Chaincoin blockchange has to validate the block and the transaction that goes with it. It has to validated 120 time, once that happens the pool pays out the coins to all the people involved finding the block. You can see the block status here: http://mining-enthusiasts.net/index.php?page=statistics&action=round&height=1176431

Another thing is that 'Auto-Payout' has to be enabled by the user, because you can choose what sums you want to receive once your balance is confirmed! You can setup auto payout under 'My Account' / 'Edit Account' / Automatic Payout Threshold.

I had a typo in the .bat file I was using, which I was then pasting into all the different ccminers hoping one would work. All good now. It's funny - I was running the sgminer that was linked from the Chaincoin ANN OP on an AMD R9 290 and it was getting about 3 or 4 mh/s and probably using about 250W, now I finally got my Nvidia rig running (2 1070s and 3 1060s) and it's doing  67mh/s and using 700W for the whole rig. Nvidia Pascal cards kick butt.

anyway i can dial it down a bit?

cards have been running ccminer 2.0 stock with no issue.

Yeah, most instability is coming from OC, try low and go up until unstable. Then lower again, so you find a sweet spot - memory oc doesn't help with C11. Make sure to have 'Above 4G Decoding' enabled in your bios and put your PCI-E ports to at least Gen2.

Do you send your coins to CHC wallet or you send directly to the exchange?

As you signed up, you had to provide a CHC wallet address. Check your settings under 'My Account / Edit Account' - you'll find auto payout or manual payout there. In both cases we deposit CHC into your CHC wallet. Exchanging it is your part of the work - but it's CHC so HODL  ;D

Thats unfortunate, I can't really help you debug this remotely. The PCIE port settings are a BIOS thing too yes, e.g. https://rog.asus.com/articles/maximus-motherboards/maximus-vi-extreme-performance-tuning-guide/

If nothing helps, get CCMiner 2.0 from Github.

Hello All

I have been mining for 3 months over on nicehash and have been reading up on crypto's...ran across this coin and the HODL'ing that is being done and it sounds like a great idea.

So a few questions

I have 2 gtx 1070 averaging about 34.xx MH/s.  What is everyone else averaging?  On ccminer 2.0 i only avg 27.xx Mh/s.

On the website, under pool statistics, why does my MH/s vary so greatly?  I runs from 12 Mh/s - 30 MH/s.

Last question I promise....just super excited.

I am running a very basic batch file.  I played around with the intensity, but is there anything else i should add to the batch file?  Anything to make it run better?

Thanks to the creators of this pool.  played around with suprnova but figured why not give this a shot.

one last thought...

Any chance we could get a section on the website where people could enter their rigs?  or their GPUS?  not sure if that is even possible.

It would be cool to be able to click on a miners name and see his rig along with his hash.

Welcome to the pool!

I have a rig with 6 x 1080ti, core clock to +200MHz and I do around 175-181 MH/s with CCMiner alexis at everything else stock with 60% fans around 67 celsius.

The hashrate varies because your are connected to a vardiff stratum server. Thats a server that sends you workloads and probes your hash calculation speed and then dynamically adjusts the difficultly level you mine with. This happens a) to have no one spam the server with low difficulty shares and b) to have everyone mine as efficiently as possible. The fluctuation is normal and seen on any pool with vardiff.

For the batch file you can try:

Code:
-i (this is the intensity flag, values from 18 - 23 are plausible)
-f 1.01 (a factor your difficulty gets divided by so you report lower diff shares and speed up a little)

Unfortunately I don't have ATI cards, but for C11 (an algorithm thats chains together several other algorithms to produce its hash) the NVidia cards are currently outperforming ATi.

Hard to debug this from far away, but you should make sure you have an inbound Firewall rule added to your windows firewall rules. The chaincoin wallet asks you to add it on the first run, maybe you disallowed it or it didn't pop up and the wallet cant connect. make sure its in there.

What sort of hash rate should be expected from 6x rx470 4gb cards? And with what miner?

And to overcook should only the core clock be increased? What about memory?

Thanks

Hi

make sure you have ports open 11994, 11995
Also make sure you enable UPnP on your router. This worked for me and the wallet started syncing

@Krisso

I avg about 150-160MH/s yet your site reports only 130. What could be the cause of this?
Where is the server located, in EU?

Thanks

The site uses a stratum server with vardiff - it's setup aggressively giving you around 20 seconds to find a share on a 20% variance, then retargets difficulty every 40 seconds if your rig fails to hit the threshold. This can sometimes result in lower reported hash rates as you get hit with difficult shares - or said differently - your rig is calculating and not sending shares. The upside is that if you fall down you will get lower difficulties and a higher resulting hash rate after, so it should average out. If you look at your income / earnings you'll see that this should be as effective as possible.

Got mine working! In the "chaincoin.conf" config file in your chaincoin install location add this:

addnode=45.63.90.82:70002

That initially gave me 1 connection and now after 5 min i'm up to 8 connections

To everyone seeking information on mining with AMD GPUs.... You will need to use Sgminer since ccminer (all versions of it) is for NViDIa GPUs only. The Sgminer version that supports CHC is an experimental modification of the original Sgminer and in my personal testing was not 100% stable (even at stock settings). With an Rx 480 8GB at stock settings you could expect about 6.5 Mh/s, a Rx 470 would be lower then that of course. ---- to sum it up briefly --- AMD is not currently a worthwhile option to mine Chaincoin. Sorry folks, but you'll do better on a different coin at this point.

I am trying to mine with my 1 X 1050ti Asus OC Game Strixx with stock settings ..
but miner crashes in 10 secs ..

It works fine with Yimp pool >> with settings below

ccminer-x64.exe -a c11 -o stratum+tcp://yiimp.ccminer.org:3573 -u CTfpsFvzcmKsHLDWTGwyxvx8f5QehJAZt4 -p c=CHC

But when m using mining-enthusiasts.net:3032 it is crashing ..

ccminer -q -a c11 -o stratum+tcp://mining-enthusiasts.net:3032 -u "myusername" -p "mypassword"

I noticed when mining on YIMP gpu intensity is set to 19 ... but on mining-enthusiasts.net it is 9 .. could this be the cause ?

How to fix this guys .. any help?

Once again its all stock settings .. no overclock. no change in any settings of GPU what so ever !

Thanks for the explanation. But why does the diff increase in such extreme steps. It seems a lot worse today. It does this a lot and then it just sits there for minutes not really submitting anything.

Thanks for reporting, we have adjusted our stratum servers today due to more miners and a higher hash rate throughput. Your issues should be fixed and addressed :)

ccminer-alexis78, 1080ti rigs at 60%TDP, celeron cpu, 4gb ram

i noticed that the miner would hang after certain stratum difficulty adjustments. after 5-10 minutes of no activity (and gpu power usage drops to idle) i see that the worker drops off the mining-enthusiast dashboard.

thinking the miner crashed, i tried to solve by running a script to restart the miner every 1200 seconds.

this causes a new problem where in some sessions the miner will start up and get reduced MH/s (~20-40 compared to 170) and it either stays that way through the session or very slowly increments up towards normal expected hashrate (taking up to 15 minutes to reach it).

ive played around with intensity and core OC but the problem still occurs.

Should I just let the miner hang? I've never let it sit there for longer than 10 minutes to see if it will resume. Ive noticed a few times it resumes after 5-7 minutes...i guess ill have to wait and see.

It will always vary a bit, you shouldn't have stalling anymore nor ultra low rates. VarDiff will still try to find optimal difficulty - so it will come to a good match after some time mining. Just observe and report back  :D

Just read through the thread, its either to much overclocking, old nvidia drivers, worng ccminer version or to high of an intensity setting on your command line. Cheers!

Just set up my iBeLink DM384M to do work, but it got 100% rejections.

Can I mine using cgminer?

FYI I'm a noob at mining!

Hi Nezero, Good to hear from you. I suggest you check back through all this conversation and on the Mining-enthusiasts.net pool. Krisso has put together a really good set of instructions and tips. Follow what he says and suggests and it will work great. Some really important points to note. NVIDEA cards run best on C11 hash and using ccminer-Alexis78. Do not over clock the GPU by much and if you do go in very small steps.... allow the system to settle before making the next change, be patient.  ;)

Good luck.

Thanks for your response. I have read the thread, but I've seen no mention of cgminer. The rig i have is ~380Mh/s ASIC, but it mines with cgminer and at this time I don't know if I can change that. If cgminer isn't supported by the pool I'll go a different route, but just thought I'd ask.

EDIT:

Have I misunderstood, I thought CHAINCOIN was x11 so assumed I could use my ASIC on it. What is C11?

@Nezero, check out www.chaincoin.org for all details on Chaincoin and the c11 hash, but basically it is 11 hashing algorithms chained.

does anyone know how many chc can be mined per day with 1080ti?

Depends on the hash rate of the pool and the network, luck in finding blocks, number of miners on the pool and pool payout system - quite a lot of things as you can see. The Mining Enthusiast numbers are quite accurate - we get the current exchange rate and calculate hash rates quite precise. I do around 30 CHC a day with a rig of 6 x 1080TI at around 181 MH/s.

One 1080TI should therefore yield around 5 CHC/day.

Just as I wrote in the reply before your post, this is how mining pools work. Its about the net-hashrate, number of miners, pool hash rate and of course luck. We had a bad streak over the last couple of hours but thats just part of the game - its normal!

And we (the developers) don't take anything but 0.25% and never let the miners mine exclusively for us!

Hi Krisso,
thank you for info... never had big dip in finding blocks before (was mining another coins before) , so i didn't know this...
To be honest, i understood completly your last post just after i posted question, sorry about that also...

i just saw my payments were couple hours stalling... and after hackers stole my ETC from classic ether wallet (couple weeks ago) i get upset faster hahaha...

I don't mind if developers getting extra pay (i turned on donation with 0,50% extra for you guys, will give more when i get enough CHC for masternode...) , i wish we had more CHC developers so this coin gets much more attention...

Thank you for great work with this mining pool...it is amazing... very informative and beautifully done....

Is there any mobile app we can use to monitor mining ?

Best regards

Miki

For miners who would like to monitor mining from this pool, you can use this android app:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.apaluk.android.poolwatch

After installation , pres sign + (plus) and copy- paste api key from "edit account" from https://mining-enthusiasts.net

After that just change name of informations you want to have in poolwatch app...

Good luck

No worries - where on youtube are you promoting the pool? Would love to see it.

Currently we do NOT offer official app support for monitoring but we are expanding the mining pool to a multi-pool behind the scenes. Once that is ready app monitoring support will be available.

in Discord group clubhodl and YouTube ....diferent channels , usualy channel of Max Lee (Highoncoins)...
Something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DnID0_HnFSk&lc=z13qc1lynwqpgvbay04cergh1nfjxzezwb0.1500980481354733     (look at comments) ... usualy also when Max or another youtuber have live broadcasts in chat window etc....
Before promoting we had about 30 miners... now we have more than 80  ;)

Is there any other location where we can talk about Chaincoin besides this ? (i heard slack group is closed, right ?)

Best regards

We've heard your requests and we are adding another coin: Signatum! This coin has only started, and we think it is going to be huge!
We modified our pool, so you can easily jump between Chaincoin and Signatum with the pool chooser at the top - give it a spin: https://mining-enthusiasts.net/sig! Of course we are sticking to our principles - 0.25% fee and a stable and fast pool.

Code:
Code:
ccminer -q -a skunk -o stratum+tcp://mining-enthusiasts.net:3033 -u User.Workername -p WorkerPassword

We are always open for suggestions, feel free to reach out in this thread!

Thanks for joining us, have fun mining and donate if you like our pool!

Thanks @Krisso

Did anything change on the var diff side of things?

Yeah we tweaked the diff settings to lower share submission rates and bump share difficulty - which should end up being the same reported hash rate as you're just submitting more difficult shares. Could you report your numbers after you let your rigs mine for 15 minutes? That would help - so we can make manual adjustments  :)

Well, I am seeing quite a few shares not being accepted

accepted: 6/7 (diff 3.519), 48.47 MH/s booooo

I find if the difficulty is very high and something goes wrong connection wise, whatever you worked on might be invalid?
Inst there less margin of error if the difficulty set to lower?

Or let me rephrase, is there a benefit of having a higher difficulty oppose to a lower one?

CHC has been very stable for weeks, would be great if we can get SIGT stable too :)

Thanks for all the effort.

Ok. My hashrate is definitely down from 265/270 to 234. Will let it run for a bit longer but doubt it will make a difference.

Don't forget block difficulty went up too, there are several factors for fluctuating hash-rates.

All blocks are orphaned on vuc?

There was an issue with the wallet lagging behind the main block chain that has been fixed. Additionally the current blocks are very low difficulty and thus increasing the chance of other pools finding a valid solution too. It’s basically a race of who submits it first - orphans are unfortunately expected in this early stages of the coin.

Thanks for the information, and even for me, the website is running too slow right now. Probably a lot of traffic is coming your way and servers just can't handle them? Even if the website loads, it's showing very low hash rates for all of the workers.

We are working on it - someone finds it funny to DDOS our servers for some reason.

Thanks for the update and I'm pretty sure this is the best mining pool for SIGT. I'm already spreading awareness for this pool on other platforms. Keep up the good work.

Other miners are running too - sure you don't have connectivity issues?

The rational is very easy to understand: We want to encourage and grow loyal miners. Thus, you should be using auto-payout which has the low and normal fees and deposits your funds to your wallet automatically. This means a) the funds go out of our system and our wallet does not have to carry unnecessary amounts of SIGT (good if DDos attachks or hacks happen) and b) users get their funds and don't forget about them, causing us less work and maintenance in the long run.

Just enable auto-payout, set it to a reasonable amount and mine a bit and you'll get your funds and circumvent the 5 SIGT fee - makes sense? For us it totally does.

Hi

on the SIGT pool, who is the top anonymous user?
I never see an anonymous user at the top with the highest hash rates, yet he gets the highest share rate, by a mile.
I also then thought it might be ALL anonymous users combined, but that is not the case either.

@72% Round shares, that user should be mining at 17-18GH, but I dont see that user.

Under now circumstances will we share account names of users who have chosen to remain anonymous within the system. We had several miners connect and mine within the range of 15 - 100GH, those people most probably have bought computing power and directed it towards our pool for a specific period of time. This is not uncommon and you can chose to do this yourself if you have the BTC to spare.

I think you missed my point. I do not want to know the identity of the user. The point I am trying to make -  there is an anonymous user that constantly gets 70-80% of the round shares, yet, I DO NOT see him in the Pool list ever mining. He would show up there, not so?

As I said, that person is probably renting time to mine with huge hash power, getting the majority of shares, then leaving until a block has been found. Thus getting an huge amount of the block reward. While everyone can do this and its a 'strategy', do you suggest banning that user?

So what you're essentially saying is, I can mine for only a few minutes of a round, considering I have the highest hash rate,  and still receive the majority of shares, even if the round took let's say an hour?  If that is the case I wouldn't call this a strategy, rather a flaw/loophole or exploiting the system. Is this happening only on mpos driven pools?

No, this could happen on any pool that uses the proportional payout system - proportional as in you get a proportional part of the block reward in regards to how many shares you've submitted.

Please check your SIGT pool user kane777 he came when block found and running for a few minutes and he gone.
He do this every time this is not fair for lower hash rate. Right now our friend move to other pool we can't stay with this user.

I have banned several of the users with this behavior, although they can create new accounts anytime 😕
I’ll be investigating a PPLNS payout system to make the issue go away for good. Thanks for reporting and your support, hope to see you on the pool again!

Thanks for joining us and have fun mining!

please help me
thank you

As you might have seen the Signatum network has sever issues at the moment (see the Cryptopia news). As per the explorer those transactions went out but they didnt get confirmed although others did. The pool wallet has been decreased by the amounts already, I'm investigating what can be done. It just seems like those transactions have not been confirmed at all and are traveling thought the signatum chain very slowely.

I think, That is not my last Debit_MP withdrawal.

My last ordered Debit_MP is around 260+ SIGT coin in pool system before the pool has been decommissioned.
