Hey guys, i just wanted to know about your opinions about https://smartcash.cc/ (https://smartcash.cc/), do you guys think its worth keeping an eye on it?

There was a free twitter giveaway two weeks ago. Everybody who tweeted received 20 SMART for free. What's the USP of SMART in your opinion?

Some project might be fantastic but i often cross check a project through their domain extensions, anything short of a top level domain name extension would probably mean the project is a third class project (My personal opinion)

I really like the look of SmartCash!

The SmartRewards scheme is encouraging long term investment into the coins and the devs are really active in social media / forums etc.

I am currently mining SmartCash rather than investing money via exchanges whilst I see how this develops - but I think this one could have real potential.

Yeah, thats true. I also think that the SmartHive is a nice feature. Sadly they stopped the twitter giveaway and i didnt get enought to get smartrewards at all. But for ppl like me who like to hodl, it is still a nice crypto to look out for. Also they are trying to get the community even more involved and active!

It's an interesting project. they need to start promoting this smartcash while I thought there still just a few people who recognize it. Nowadays,  the competition between ICO was very tight. More and more new ICO was show up everyday. They should compete with their community, advertising and promoting, and other things that could attract people to join their project. Good luck for this smartcash.

Yeah im totally with you! Even i dont have enough to get the smart rewards, i still support the coin and think it can be a nice mid-longterm case if they get a better promotion and spread around.

The marketing and promotion SmartCash has done is not enough. They should do more since in my opinion, it is a good longterm project to invest in.

I feel the same about that. But the twitter giveaway had some weaknesses, many bots were abusing it so they cut it off. Im still sure it will be a nice project for the next 1-3 years to get some. But atm the price went too high for me to buy in some.

How hard would weekly SMART rewards be instead of current monthly? From what I understand, it's 20% reward monthly. 4.5% per week, anyone? What an exciting week!!  :D

Yeah, pretty exciting if you have enough SMART to recieve the rewards :S Sadly i didnt have the opportunity to buy some when it was pretty low, and now after it went high so fast, i assume a lot of pump dumpsters will jump on that train! Maybe in 1-2 weeks ill be able to buy some and get the 1k mark!

At the moment the price tends to spike around this time of the month as people are trying to get as much SMART in their account before the snapshot taken on the 25th. Luckily, I managed to get to 1000 this time last month so I am just waiting for my first rewards payment to come in next week  :)

I think it is definitely one to invest and HODL to reap the rewards long term.

if the project is going to go for a long term then the dev and the team should work very hard and try to promote the project so the investor will attracted to the project. promoting the project is a must thing that the dev and the team do because people will see the benefit from the project and with the helping from the other people to promote, the project will reach their goals. but if there is not many people is going to promote the project then it is difficult to get survive in the crypto world.

What is going on? I made several payments from the official smartcash pool to cryptopia and none reached the destination.

When I search my cryptopia address in blockchain explorer gives error message "NOT FOUND".

Completely agree with what you say about not needing the wallet to be online 24/7 to earn the rewards - I have invested a small amount in BitCore (BTX) for this reason too.

I just notice this in the market earlier, It has a 80%+ percent increase in the market, I think many people are trying it out or something.

Since they have a this much growth why they does not have an official thread or any announcement in the forum. I see that they have their own wallet, own forum and etc... This is fine to invest on this concern project. Gaining the trust among the crypto users they should be part of the forum and should have trusted escrow in the forum to find the better security for the investment.

As far as I know, they had an official ANN thread here on Bitcointalk for announcements, but it has been deleted. So they moved on to another forum. Have a look at their Coinmarketcap Listing for any details.

solo mining tutorial of sorts

How often are you actually hitting blocks solo if I may ask? It seems risky to me given the odds.

On the day of my post I got three

So, essentially the estimate in CC miner is wrong? I have a rig with 3x 1070's and 1x 1080 ti and it was saying 50% chance to find one in like 2.7 days....

I tried the solo this morning when the pool was down. Anyway, flipping between this and btcz.

Cryptopia wallet was repaired this morning, but it crashed again, and again we waiting the whole day...
and no result now. CE (coinexchange.io) also not repaired it's wallet, and apparently not going to do anything,
or they just ... brakes  >:(

Coinexchange.io fixed their purse. Well, as expected, the price immediately fell.
In general, I brought everything from this exchange. More I will not put my coins in there.

Ah ok, thats why. I wasnt able to check all the stuff online cuz im traveling atm. Well, lets wait and see if it will stabilize again in the region it was before. I hope it will take some time so i can buy some before it will raise up again :P

I think they only need to find a way to stabilize the dumping for SmartCash. I mean, its always hodling until the snapshot and after it, theres the dumpmaster2000. I feel like they do a lot of things right but i also think there needs to be a way for a steady grow!

These past few weeks have been a roller coaster ride for SmartCash. The project got a lot of media exposure and attention, but at the same time we’ve been plagued by a series of issues that caused a lot of bitterness in our community and rightfully so.

We’ve been battling tiresome Zerocoin related node sync issues for the past few weeks. Most of the recent hiccups we’ve faced were Zerocoin related. Our October SmartRewards snapshot delay, exchange listing delays and deposit/withdrawal issues were all Zerocoin related.

Yesterday, another Zerocoin related incident happened. We found that our pool server nodes were running under high CPU load. Upon closer inspection every block had a renew transaction and that was taking up the CPU time with calculations. An attacker discovered a vulnerability in our Zerocoin code and was able to renew and reclaim 2.1 million new coins using this vulnerability. This was the was the straw that broke the camel’s back in terms of Zerocoin related issues, which forced us to turn off all Zerocoin related features. Had this been a legitimate user trying to renew coins, the network slowdown would have had same effect, which again tells us the Zerocoin code isn’t yet ready to be used.

A Zerocoin related supply bug issue was discovered earlier this year by the Zcoin project https://zcoin.io/important-announcement-zerocoin-implementation-bug/12 It seems, however, not all security holes were plugged since this incident took place. The Zerocoin code seems to have other vulnerabilities which could be exploited by potential attackers. After doing some research, we have discovered that Zcoin, another project using Zerocoin tech suffered a similar exploit, even though they are yet to issue a statement. Over 14k Zcoins that shouldn’t exist have been created using this exploit between November 1st and November 4th. The attack on the SmartCash network took place after Zcoin got attacked and after their devs released a quick Sunday patch to stop the bleeding. The attack could have been prevented had they told us about it. Hopefully, we will all learn to work together in the future. We can’t say for sure if other Zerocoin based coins like PIVX also got attacked, but looking at the recent Zerocoin PIVX action, that may have been the case: During this 15 hours period, between Block 892275 2017-11-06 17:41:03 CET and Block 893145 2017-11-07 08:19:16 CET more than 260K PIVX were reclaimed/spent than minted/renewed.

In order to try and remedy some of the damage, we plan to burn a corresponding amount of SmartCash from the SmartHive address to make sure the current supply stays unchanged.

Furthermore, in order to create a stable environment for our users, we have decided to remove the Zerocoin code to give the developers the chance to improve it, since it’s clearly not ready for prime time yet. This will help immediately alleviate a lot of the frustration some people have been having when it comes to long sync times and sync freezes. Please go ahead and download our new client. This is a mandatory update!

They are different, I have high hopes for smartcash, they have a lot of features and inovations, and they are community driven! I really see them growing big!

Thats true! But i think if they find a way to make the distribution for the SMART Rewards better the coin would have a brighter future. The way it is, theres always a pretty hard dump after the 25th and its hard to pump up again to a higher level.

I think it's worth the value to note because many people who already use it so it seems necessary to update a little for the convenience of users, so that more people who join in it.

From what I understand, SMART Rewards are to become less and less worthwhile, (i think the allocation halves each month).

Smart nodes will keep much more investment staked rather than buy and sell.

Plus there is like 40 million USD in the smarthive to develop whatever the coin needs.

I don't think this project will get great success. In order to be successful cryptocurrency you need  at least 3 things:
1. good team
2. Product (must have real implementation in the world)
3. Big community

I did their airdrop before or bounty what they call it but I didnt receive it. Looks like a good project IMO but they really need a good investor to do their big plans.

I am pretty sure SmarCash has a great future. I hold a lot of this coin.

I think the whole project concept of Smartcash might be very viable but what remains is the implementation process. I have gone through the website design and structure and find it very amazing. Let us watch and see what will happen to the project in the near future.

But a while ago there seemed to be a BUG in the project's smart contract.

I think SmartCash is quite good. The project mainly focuses on community governance, cooperation, and growth-focused blockchain-based development. Creating a functional and easy to use digital economy is its end goal.It is feasible, mutually interchangeable, active, merchant oriented, user-friendly and community-driven cryptocurrency with a decentralized governance system.

SmartCash is a self-funded community driven the private digital currency. It is a price stabilization mechanism; the whole idea is to create a disincentive to prevent money moved out if you want to spend then generate another wallet for that.

If you are in search for virtual currencies with good return Smart is a good option. With a 5-year investment, the revenue is expected to be around +2716.22%, that means your current $100 investment may be up to $2816.22 in 2022.

In my view, it is quite promissing in the future. With Smart coins we can transact and do business on a blockchain in the currency, we are familiar with without having to worry about the value of money going up and down.

Can anybody explain to a newbie what is the difference between smartnode and masternode?  I can not find this information anywhere.
