My vote is Zcash. More corporate and professional than the other. It will only be better if they take out the Windows wallet.

only Monero is my choice because it has proven to be much more stable and with good rises which stay up after they happen.
other altcoins have had much wilder pump and dumps and they are much younger which means they may not have such a good future specially since a good anonymous altcoin like monero is around and is used. so many of the others also have issues with their anonymity which makes them not such good options either.

Definitely monero because it has been around for longer than ZCash and in my opinion a lot better in terms of the community and development than ZCash. Plus ZCash has demonstrated that its price is not durable, while monero has maintained its price above 0.01 BTC for a year now.

Monero's community as i've mentioned is actually quite anti-hype.

That's why you see steady growth with XMR, compared to other hype coins.

Definitely Monero is the best and most trusted altcoin right now. Zcash is the 2nd best cause of its said bugs. I am also hyped for Verge as their development team is working hard, doing good job.

Zcash are well established
ZenCash are more powefull (securenode is comming)
Verge is more focused on secure communication (and have a huge community)

and I think LuxCoin could be a great outsider

Exactly, Monero will be the best option within those things. Zcash maybe is a good one too, but the rest is not trusted for me. Monero and Zcash has already created their communities around their project. And they have also strong investors, especially Assians behind their blockchain.

Monero is the best one if you are looking to join a 100% private system, there is no way that your coins can be tracked just like it happens with bitcoin, you have an anonymous chain with monero and it is impossible to track the funds, and you dont even need a mixer in order to use them safely.
Deeponion is just an airdrop coin, i would not suggest anyone to invest in this one, because it is risky and you can get them for free just by wearing a signature.

Surprisingly one person spoke about XSpec but there are 5 people voted for it, almost everyone spoke about XMR but only 4 votes

Nav coin, simply because it is so undervalued for what is brings and will bring to the table. Once they finalize their anonymous Dapps it will skyrocket.

I think Monero coin is the best anonymous coin to buy now. It is developed based on cryptonote protocol. With many advantages comparing Bitcoin. I believe that it will go up in the future

I am investing on deep onion right now while the price is still low but the upside is still relatively unknown. It could rocket to the moon in the next few years just like monero so I'm going for it.

I think ZOIN has huge potential. Very active dev team, releasing extremely beautifully designed and user friendly wallets, active in communication on their slack every hour or so, attracting more and more people every day as a community coin, masternodes in the near future as well as original mobile wallets - there is a lot of things going on with this coin and it just started. New team adopted the project about 2-3 months ago and have already done a lot.

Deifnately deeponions. Onions seem promising to me and near future their price. Many people are already holding them because of its anonymousity.

Definatly the DeepOnion. I believe this coin will survive all the other altcoins. They are at a low price roght now but ir will rise after the hard fork.

I think zencash , the reason: zencash has the shielded transactions, the tls connections,  the secure nodes,  and  in the roadmap the domain fronting and the anonymous publishing system.
there is already a private message system implemented in one of the wallets,

the other coins mentioned have maybe one or two of these features , but zencash is the only one that is trying to get all, and the team is delivering.
there are a lot of updates and activities.

Personally I like the model of governance and the treasury model , for me its fair and balanced in the long term that is important.

Read about spectrecoin as well a while ago, think there were a few airdrops but it takes a few milliseconds for all seats to be filled which also says something. I think deeponion is very strong in its established base and community, while Monero is more established in terms of market cap. All are interesting, but for deeponion is waiting on the true killer features that will make it stand out from this crowd.

Comparison with other coins
In this section we will answer the common question of "How does Spectre compare to X?", where X is one of the following coins.

CloakCoin
Both Cloak and Spectre use PoS only and don't have masternodes.
Cloak has 6% inflation, Spectre has 5% inflation.
Both have a block time of 60 seconds.
Cloak uses the proprietary terms "CloakShield" and "ENIGMA transactions", while Spectre uses Tor and ring signatures. This makes Spectre technology easier to understand.
Cloak seems to also target applications sending data between each other via the Cloak network, while Spectre focuses on being simply a currency.
While CloakCoin has its own onion routing network, Spectre is part of the official Tor network. This makes Spectre more anonymous (as there are much more nodes participating in the network), and more difficult to censor.
Cloak's ENIGMA protocol seems to be based on mixing, whereas Spectre uses untraceable ring signatures that we find to be more efficient and also more secure: Ring signatures (using private fixed-size tokens) are information-theoretically anonymous, while mixed transactions could possibly be prone to correlation attacks and malicious nodes.
All funds are visible on the blockchain, whereas in Spectre, funds that are stored as private balance (tokens for ring signatures) are not publicly visible.

DeepOnion
DeepOnion gives you free money, Spectre does not.
Both operate on the Tor network.
DeepOnion uses both Proof-of-Work and Proof-of-Stake, Spectre uses Proof-of-Stake only.
DeepOnion does not offer transaction privacy, all transactions are publicly visible. In addition, Spectre also supports stealth addresses and ring signatures for private sending and receiving of coins.
Users are able to send encrypted messages using DeepOnion, this does not quite work with Spectre yet, although we will be adding that feature.
DeepOnion is a marketing-airdrop scheme on Bitcointalk, whereas Spectre had a plain ICO.
The DeepOnion dev holds more than 50%   :o :o :o of the coins at this point, whereas the Spectre devs only hold about 1-2% together. Therefore, DeepOnion must be seen as being completely centralized at this point, which makes it zero value, whereas Spectre is completely decentralized.
The DeepOnion dev is rich because he owns >50% of the coin supply of DeepOnion, whereas the Spectre devs are funded by the community.
The Spectre project has a vision that goes beyond private transactions and targets to establish a private payment ecosystem similar to cash, whereas DeepOnion does not seem to have any further goals beyond having an anonymous currency.

Monero
Monero is a much bigger project than Spectre and has a lot more devs, but also a much higher price. So Spectre has bigger potential to grow.
Monero uses Proof-of-Work, Spectre uses Proof-of-Stake.
The Monero wallet is mature and stable, while there are still some bugs in Spectre.
In Monero, you can send money anonymously, while this does not quite work with Spectre yet, because there are too few "tokens" available for making a ring-signature. We want to make Spectre Tokens (for ring signatures) the default in future versions, which should solve this problem.
Spectre has a rich list, while Monero does not. This comes from the fact that Spectrecoin's anonymity is an add-on to normal Bitcoin-like operation at this point, so anonymity (and storing coins as tokens instead of on a public address) is optional in Spectre. We want to make it the default in future versions. Spectre coins that are stored as "private balance" in the wallet are not visible in the block explorer.
Spectre has native Tor integration and all nodes run as hidden services. Monero plans to add an I2P implementation called "Kovri", but it's not the default for Monero yet. Monero can also run via Tor, but only using it as a proxy that uses Tor exit nodes, which comes with some problems (see the Tor integration section).
The goals and vision of Spectre and Monero are different.
In a Twitter post [1], "fluffpony" (the Monero project leader) noted that using Tor hidden services in Spectre might be susceptible to isolation attacks because .onion address are costless to create. This problem is mitigated in Spectre because the onion addresses used to join the Spectre network have certain requirements, which requires the user to "mine" for a suitable Tor public key first before joining the network. Also, like most Bitcoin-based wallets, Spectre has sophisticated security mechanisms for node selection, so running an isolation attack is not so simple.

I voted for DeepOnion too. It is a great entry point for anyone new to the crypto world. Price is very low ATM, you can get many coins for free and for those worried for devs holding large amount - the distribution is still not past its half way mark. When it is done by the end of April 2018. it will be much more evenly spread.

My vote goes to stable and really decentralized monero.

For me, it would be deep onion. The combination of good community and dedicated dev team is the promise to success. Technology features like DeepSend/DeepVault/SmartContract will be implemented in the coming months. No doubt when airdrops finishes, more new features will be defined by the community voting center. 

Deeponion seems to be a no brainier at this time. Lot of development going on. Huge creative team and excellent ideas!

Right now, DeepOnion is the best anonymous coin to buy and hold for long term. The price is very undervalued right now. When people realize the usefulness of the technology DeepOnion is offering, the price will go high. DeepOnion is my choice. It's very young and has more room to grow. But the technology is very good. In my view DeepOnion the best anonymous cryptocurrency and rightly placed first place.

Personally I think that DeepOnion is the one to hold for long term gains.

It has DeepSend being implemented next year, which means you will not be able to trace where payments are sent too and from due to the mixing that goes on between, this will be on of the best features available to a privacy coin.

On top of that, the value they are currently is a steal! you can buy hundreds of them for the price of Zcash etc.

I would have to say DeepOnion. The community and devs behind it are huge and that is what keeps a coin going. Monero today but DeepOnion tomorrow.

No one has anything up against Zcash, no idea why people would prefer Onion - yeah you can integrate it with the browser but besides that Zcash has been by far the most innovative solution to make transactions as private as possible. They have even implemented the tech in JP morgans, and Ethereum will in the near future implement Znarks as well. Isn't that enough evidence to show that Zcash is the superior crypto coin? I hope to be seeing the other companies keep this up, because it's competition what drives the market and what drives innovation, I think we'll be seeing some other companies trying to go up against Zcash and I hope they will - cause Zcash will crush them.

I agree. Of course, it is always a risk, if someone holds 50% of a coin. In the DeepOnion case, one should make his own research and decide, if the project is trustworthy. Anyone who voted for deeponion.. what the hell. Just because it is integrating the private browser doesn't mean that the same won't happen to other coins as well. Yes integration is important but you shouldn't just rely on Tor, the underlying technology of the coin itself has to be safe as well, I guess Tor can be integrated in many of the other coins and it will happen at some point. Until then of course Deepcoin will rise in value but only as long as other projects don't integrate the same thing, it's in other words the only thing that makes it different than the rest. When other projects implement a similar structure it won't be unique anymore and it won't be able to diferantiate itself from other projects.

Forget Zcoin. While this technology is different from Zcash, Zencash (zero knowledge) or Monero. Zcoin is zerocoin protocol, excellent technology, and Zcoin was created before Zcash .. So you can add Zcoin!

There are many great buys for privacy coins.... the big dogs in my opinion are ZCash, Monero, and ZCoin.

The ones that are massively undervalued that are big risk big reward coins with good tech are the following:

Zoin- A fork of ZCoin that’s also implementing masternodes. They have a very active team that’s ambitious.
Hush- A fork of ZCash that’s implementing some different things to separate itself from ZCash. Very good devs. One of the devs is from the ZCash team.
Aeon- A fork of Monero that has a really good dev from the Monero team. It’s sometimes considered a testing ground for Monero tech. Could be a direct competitor in the future. Right now it seems to be the little brother.
SumoKoin- A fork of Monero. It’s a Japanese crypto that just went through a rebrand. Seem to have a very active team.

In conclusion, I think a lot of these forks have massive potential using the tech they already have....not to mention they can add some cool features to differentiate themselves.

Add Zencash to this list. It is a Zcash fork with  a solid dev team and better feature.  It could give serious competition
to Zcash in future.

Although Deeponions has been receiving so much hypes lately which I do believe the dev won't disappoint at the end, but for now and until then when I am sure enough, I will still have to go for monero.

Problem with KMD is their marketing is shocking, the last video presentation that I saw was so amateurish it was cringe-worthy and saw the price drop by 80C from memory.   
I was invested with them but not anymore. 

If anything they are the poor mans privacy coin, that is about it's main feature the fact that it is the cheapest of them all.

Zcash for me is number 1, as an investment it is growing and growing and is even profitable to mine now at it's current price.

The most superior coin is Zcash hands down. The team has simply delivered in comparison to all other coins and it's the best underlying technology in that sector. Privacy is important and many companies want it, the one that really innovated in that field is obviously Zcash, they have developed a technology that is actually being implemented by many big projects and major institutions, that is kinda big. Adoption is the best indicator for the future success of a product, and Zcash has proved that their technology can be adopted. Unfortunately many are just implementing the idea and Zcash itself it not being profiting from this, but at least they are using the name Zsnarks and are crediting the project for the innovation.

Read about spectrecoin as well a while ago, think there were a few airdrops but it takes a few milliseconds for all seats to be filled which also says something. I think deeponion is very strong in its established base and community, while Monero is more established in terms of market cap. All are interesting, but for deeponion is waiting on the true killer features that will make it stand out from this crowd.

Identifying these coins with great potentials is quite difficult since these coins all have fair shares. They may go up or they may go down but if i can only choose two out from the choices, i would probably pic Monero and ZCash.

I think at the moment monero is number one. I am sad i arrived late at the mining process. So no money or mining time spent with it. Beeing an early adopter has its benefits.
About new coins i bet in xspec and zencash. Maybe this two in the future worth something. Both have nice communities and active low profile working devs.
I also like sumokoin as an experimental project forked from monero. Lets see its future.

With the usage of tor network deep onion seems to be highly anonymous compared to lot of other anonymous altcoins. Also with this the growth has been taking place in a good manner even when the value experience sudden bumps and dumps. Among the listed assets verge seems to be better than the other.

I like monero the most for privacy coin because it already has a huge community behind it, a good marketcap and reputation behind the project. There's not much space on the privacy coin so if you want to play it safe and enjoy becoming anonymous then pick monero, but if want to take some risk, i suggest that you take a look at spectrecoin, it is still new but i feel like it has the potential to go big.

Zcash is good, it's not bad. But, monero is the best one here. It's very popular and you can easily trade because the trade volume is high per day. Your transactions don't appear on the blockchain and they can't track you there.

I'm a big fan of Zcash, even though there are many alternatives out there, I still think that Zcash is by far most superior than other competitors. Onion is great because obviously they have the browser compatibility that makes it very attractive, especially to the dark market. It's a bit tricky for the rest because they are offering products with their own infrastructure. Zcash for example has Zsnarks which has been proved that it's one of the most superior encryption innovations out there, so much so that others are copying it, which is great. Unfortunately Zcash itself is not benefiting all that much, and it's suprising how they are behind some competitors such as Monero, it's staggering really and I can't explain it other than people have an idea how encryption works.

Me too, but i saw over 200+ people voted for DeepOnion. I thought Zcash and Monero are the best and most anonymous coins out there.

Moreno is definitely my favorite of all the anonymous coins but monero has a very high market cap already for someone that is an investor and want to obtain as much profits as possible I think it is not the best idea to invest in monero, to me it seems in the future we are going to need many of those coins so if you invest in a new anonymous coin and it becomes successful you could get a lot of earnings.

Looking in my list of rare and anonymous coin to invest to, i found IOTA and NEM on top of my list. Both alternate coins have their own price hike and increasing market capital. Having a good market capital is a key for a long term investment, IMO.

I think Reddcoin will going crazy in maximum 1 week.

There are plenty of good coins out there and everyone thinks they know the best.  And I'll preface this with "I don't care what the market value is.  I use cryptos as a storage of wealth and remittance"  The value we subscribe to cryptos shouldn't be dictated by the market sales towards other cryptos and certainly not fiat but how we use them amongst ourselves.  We should be getting as far away from fiat as possible.  So you find a group of people who will accept it at a certain amount and you start to move it amongst yourselves.  Trading goods and services for cryptos at a price you set.  These communities exist and if you haven't found one... you should be responsible for its creation. IMHO."  Having gotten that out of the way I have narrowed my cryptos down to two based entirely on their tech and team.

I use Monero like my bank.  If I need to move larger sums at slower rates, I use Monero.

For fast transfers I use Spectrecoin.

Spectrecoin has better privacy tech (I realize this is arguable because I've seen it argued) from what I've seen and read.  The wallet UI is awesome.
It's POS so it doesn't suck power down, it's transfer rates are minuscule, and it's really really fast.  Like under a minute fast sometimes.

Monero is Point of work so mining is going to create serious powerbills at this point.  It uses ring signatures as well.  If and When it gets Korvi it will probably be up there with the current spectrecoin wallet.  But the speed and fees aren't worth moving it for instant transactions.

It would be fair to say that Zcash and Monero are the most recognised and trusted privacy coins, but they cannot match Spectrecoin for functionality. It is simply THE most holistic privacy coin out there with a low entry price point and massive potential. As more and more governments consider some sort of restrictions around cryptocurrencies, the privacy coins will be the investors 'darlings' of 2018, with Spectrecoin firmly in the mix.

The best long-term coin, in my opinion, are the first two -- Monero and DeepOnion. Monero has been around longer I think since 2014 and has a huge user based filled with loyal user. Given in particular the combination of features 2,4,8,9,10,11 makes SpectreCoin technically way superior to any other existing coin. Even just focusing on feature 2 alone means that it is uniquely truly globally accessible.

The best long-term coin, in my opinion, Monero And DeepOnion. if you look at the size of their community they are huge.

Don't underestimate Verge (XVG). They also have a huge community and active development. I will hold my coins for a long time.

I also think that DeepOnion looks promising

All anonymous coins in the near future will be delisting from the stock exchanges. I would not recommend investing in such coins.

Monero and Zcash are the best anonymous coins. They have strong teams and a large society that supports them. They will always be in the top among the crypto currency.

I think that many users should pay attention to the fact that almost 60% of all rating projects do not have a finished product. Thus we buy coins, we can soon remain without anything. And this will contribute to the bad state of the crypto-currency market.

To me, I think the best and most potential anonymous coin to buy and hold for long term will be either Zcash or Monero and I believe they will become very potential and even valuable.

I honestly believe that we will see Monero and Spectrecoin (xspec) being the two go to privacy coins in the future

My choice is definitely monero, there are many coins claiming to be better and to have a better way to anonymize your coins but most of the time that is not true or in the case of some of the projects they have a very shady story about how their tokens were created in the first place so the only coin that has my full trust is monero.
