Hey guys,

So I know I need to do my own research before investing in anything, and I plan to continue to do so.

However, I am very confident in the Crypto market in February ongoing and am planning on wiring over $20,000 USD tomorrow to invest.

I would like to hear some suggestion on what to do with that. I plan on taking each of these suggestions and doing some serious research on them, but I need a good place to start.

Two coins I see at least rising a little bit once we officially get out of this dip are XRB and DRGN.

Let me know your thoughts and suggestions. They will be much appreciated!

Most of those old timers in Crypto said to put most of them on Bitcoin and Ethereum, then the rest on altcoins.

For me you can put it into ICOs as long as you do a proper research about the team and their project.

I don't know much about those 2 but I strongly believe that you can not go wrong with VeChain. I'm also invested in it.

Regarding the ICO that I mentioned, maybe you can try the LoyalCoin ICO. I'm sure it's legit but I can't tell you if it will give you fast profits.

I would put 50% in a good ico like metronome or arcblock and the rest to good altcoin like kyber and bancor

OMG is looking like it's probably going to take off in 2018. It didn't really pump during the December-January bull run and a lot of things on their roadmap come to fruition this year. It probably won't 100x but I can still seeing it making some big moves.

i dont know about XRB and DRGN. but if u want advice, i will tell u that invest in Ripple, NEM and NEO will be good for u. u can do some research for these three coin. the reason why im tlling u this coin is because these three coin have great development, a stable and have a little risk for long invest.

Start studying the top 20 coins. Begin on their technology, subscribe to Twitter and read the news. In time, you will increase the number of coins

In my opinion, the money is divided into two parts.
Some investment ICO, because ICO is high risk, but the return is also amazing.
Another part of the investment BTC, after all, investment BTC is very stable, even if the collapse, will not lose too much money, but the increase is also good. ;D

Investigate thoroughly before investing that amount. You can split your investments into part. Solid coins like BTC, ETH and XRP few. Solid alt coins and Undervalued altcoins and finally into ICO's. ICO's would be attractive, but check for the substance and invest. Good luck.

How about four altcoins to invest, the two altcoin that you mentioned is good but you should add more at least two altcoins to divide your $20k, $5k one of them, let me suggest how about ethereum and deeponion they are potential altcoin to me. What about invest in ICO's I'm sure it will increase x5 profit but of course you should research first before investing.  

i think a good coin to invest is ethereum.  having its own blockchain, fast transaction and lesser fee, it will surely outclassed bitcoin this 2018.  right now , ethereum price continue to surge despite the decline of bitcoin price

Of course, advising where to contribute 20k $ this is pretty seriously you need to understand what to say. But probably all the same I'll try to recommend the Current project. But still do not invest all the money in this project. It's also possible to look at the Beluga Pay project, but still these 20k should be divided into several projects, so that the probability of success is higher.

if you want to get more profit, best decision is put your money on Ethereum, Ripple and DeepOnion.

It depends how much risk you want to take. Good coins near the top of the market are safer with probably lower % returns; good coins with lower cap will give a greater % but with corresponding increase in risk.
I'd say ETH, XRP, NEM, NEO from top 10 in cap; XRB and ICX from 11-25 ; Walton and 0x from 26-50. And lower cap probably REQ and ANT.

I think you should by 1 bitcoin, several ETH, and some other coins with low prices, ICOs are also the option. My advice is not to invest all money in once coin.

Dont trust anybody advices in Crypto World) All depends on your risk profit system. BTC conservative investment now after dump it's not very risky, all think it will grow just a matter of time. Second place we have big alts that have trading pair with usd like neo, OMG, LTC that can grow faster than BTC but little more risky. On the other hand there are a lot of coins and tokens that can give you x10 or more but they can be dumped in a second. It is very important to buy them on the bottom or on ICO, not at all time high.

I would go with 50% on Bitcoin & Ethereum, the rest I will probably open coinmarketcap.com and make a research on first 20 or so. It is so much potential over there.

I will also give some credit like 5% or so to some that are at the very begining and maybe have the coin price at 0.01 $ or something... Just my 2 cents!

No one can tell you which is the best altcoin or ICO. Investing in ICOs is very risky but if successful can be highly profitable.
Explore the community of the coin that you like and be sure they are active. Train yourself to spot the scams: HYIP, Ponzis and so on.
Research, research and more research!

It is good you are investing when there is a wide market correction going on. At least with that, you will be highly certain of profit on all your investments within a short while when the market recovers.

I will advise you take a look at coinmarketcap.com and start with the top on the list (obviously bitcoin), and go on with the list down. You can decide to invest on the top 20 and above and spread the percentage to increase as you move forward on the list.

You may want to try some of the undervalued coins right now and I would suggest HSR on binance. Also, you can decide to put some of it in an ICO to at least be a stake holder in some new projects. XRB provides scalability, fast and cost-free transactions. Technology of XRB like IOTA but it's developed well.

Of course the crypto market is very volatile but on the other hand there is a good time to invest now. It seems to me the better way for you is to invest in Bitcoin and distribute a small part to altcoins.

$20k is a lot of money. Whatever you do, be careful and double check everything at least twice.

Hello man! Dont invest all your capital in alts! Hold 30-40% in BTC. Later you will say "thanks" to me. If remember Late Autumn of 2017 - there was a great grow of BTC but at the same time alts were strongly dumped (in BTC value).

Dont pay anybody for consultations: you should spend your time on studying different projects in which you are going to invest. Such way will give you best result.

Anyway a personal advice that I already read several times on the threads,  invest +/- 40% of your 20k in bitcoin and ethereum.
For the rest, you have so many altcoin, it's really difficult to mention just a few of them. Take the time to read and grab information about their past fluctuation

Personally, I think Rise has a potential although lisk and rise have similarities but I still go for rise.. I like the platform and base on my research. Reasons to invest in RISE: Blockchain Incubator, Mobile app store, fast and easy to use wallet, staking, low market cap. All in all RISE is great!!!

I would suggest you put your money on ETH and NEO. Those 2 coins right now are very promising because of those upcoming ICOs partnered with them. Almost of those ICOs really have a big potential in a future good projects, great team and amazing technology behind of it. But do your own search also before buying it so you can know if it is really worth for your money. Thank you.

My suggestion for you invest in already listed good altcoins like Ethereum, Waves, Stratis, Monero, Dash, Because these altcoins making good developments for rising there coins.

In my opinion you can put the 30% on ethereum as we all know this year might be the year for ethereum it will be huge gains and ethereum is a great platform and great potential. While the other 30% is on bitcoin. Bitcoin is sleeping right now once its be awaken it will dominate and moon and maybe double or tripple its price. This year is mass addoption so trillions of money will be invested soon on bitcoin. And 40% is on altcoins and ico but research well before investing on ico and altcoins.

It is better to have more stable portfolio: 20% - bitcoins, 60% - top 10 altcoins and 20% - altcoins which you are personally interested in

Well this is a good amount to invest in crypto currencies. If you choose the best coins and projects you can make good profit in the future. Try choosing the most promising coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple and Litecoin. And invest some part in the most powerful ICO projects as well. Diversifying the investment will minimize your risks.

If you are here for the long run you should invest 40% into Bitcoin, 25% into Ethereum and the other 35% could be a nice investment for Modum or Neufund. Both are very good project that will have a nice future!

You can spread this amount amongst several coins including Bitcoin. But choose your Altcoins carefully as they are volatile and you cannot control how they react in the market. ICO, in my opinion, to invest too risky, if there is little experience in the crypt. Half the buy BTH, a quarter of the ETH or DASH and the remnants of the crypt with a low price and a good team.

I am in a similar position but with only half of the sum. For now my plan is to invest 10% of the money in bitcoin, 40% in upcoming well funded platforms - Neo, ICON, EOS and ADA, and 50% in 10 ICO/underrated tokens like ICONOMI, Beluga pay, Tron, Ven, Status, Dede, QASH, Acorn, IOTchain and Meme.

Op, I believe  $20,000 is big to be invested in just two cons for such decision seems to be irrational in my opinion because there are other coins that has growth prospects apart from the once you mentioned above that you can make huge profit on your investment within a period of time only watch well on the current market trends of all the coins.

I would invest into Ethereum at least 50% of this money. It will make a genuine breakthrough soon, I am almost sure of it. The rest sum can be spread for buying NEO, Cardano, NEM and DASH. I did not mention Bitcoin, but you should also invest into it some %%.

if you want to grow go for altcoins with that big amount of money you can make it tripple with altcoins like LISK OMISEGO MONERO
the thiing is bitcoin is far from the price of altcoins and it is hard to increase your investments with raw bitcoin itself. in altcoins that they usually call shitty coins have potential to grow over time the key is patience and waiting . or you can go for 40% bitcoin and the rest go for altcoins like ETHEREUM etc like that,. for example TRX I only invest .006 and it turned out to .028 BTC in just 2 months, but I do hold and I stucked on it but TRX is a good long term coin.

Try to spread your coin to a variety of tokens, maybe try invest to ETH, EOS, ADA and other top tier cryptocurrency so that you'll be safer. But if you're a risk taker try to invest to an ICO because it offers more profit than investing to existing coins. The decision is up to you bro.

If you are into long term holding, you should choose a good coin and I agree with the coin you mentioned.
$20,000 is such a good amount and we can expect that you can see a x10 profit at least in the long run, but still depend on our target.

I wouldn't really put everything into Crypto and would choose a regulated asset such as stocks or mutual funds to keep most of my funds safe. You can put probably $2k or $5k into a 'worthy' alt coin but the fact that it isn't regulated means that you should be cautious with your money.

It is a very good beginning to invest around $20k for this cryptocurrency. You may take some good coins such as ETH. But, you will only make small amounts of ETH.
Don't worry. Some other good altcoins are now available to buy with their promising market. You may do research more in the Ripple, IOTAS, and also NEO. Take deep look at these coins to get the higher income.

I would appreciate ICX and CS rather than Dragonchain. I have invested in Dragonchain but it looks like they are going down. Its price has been rising unstably and tends to go down. I think you should invest in ICX and hold them in the long run. because they have a preferential policies that you will receive interest every month if you hold a certain amount of coins. I highly appreciate the future of ICX, which is a coin that will flourish in the fourth quarter of 2018.

$ 20k is a very large amount try to buy some coins for long term my advice ADA ETH EOS may be enough to make you more money and I am sure you will get 10x-50x in the future

I think you should divide the portfolio on some altcoin. Maybe 50% for first layer altcoin, 30% for second layer altcoin and the rest for some ico tokens.

For $ 20000 maybe you can buy 1btc, and the rest is shared equally between tron, waves, neo and cardano. Or maybe $ 500-1000 for ico.

I would by myself a car, or invest in a real estate, but for Crypto, try to see on ICO Bench, or CMC what is going on on the market

It seems to me the safest option is to invest in btc and eth.  And 1000-2000 $ to invest in NEO.

I would have invested everything in eth and btc.  These are two reliable coins.  By the end of the year the price of these coins will grow by 2-3 times.

If you're a beginner in Crypto and have less knowledge about it, I think it's better to put it on Ethereum and Bitcoin for long term hold purposes. But if you have knowledge enough and can tell that a project is whether a scam or not then go for an ICO projects. Invest carefully.

I think this investment is very huge. If you had invested in correct source, you will get nth percentage profit in very short time period. Now the price of bitcoin is started to raise again and it's seem good investment all the time.So you can inverse 10,000$ in bitcoin .And inverse the remaining 10k $ in Ethereum, ETH was the queen of cryptocurrency. You will get huge profit in this two coins.

If I have $20k and I want to invest with, I will choose Travelflex coin for long term investment. Then wait for about 6-12 months and sure that will be a greater investment for me.

I bought some DRGN but unfortunately since I bought it the price has just been tanking every day and I don't know why. I thought it was a good coin to buy but I will hodl for another three to six months. If it is still in Loss by then, I will decide what to do. I have my hopes at the moment on ZEBI CHAIN, an Indian blockchain coin that is only twenty cents at the moment and on no big exchanges yet. If it gets onto OKEX exchange next week, we could easily see the price double or go over 50 cents.

I would break 20k into two parts. I would buy 10k BTC. The other 10k is for the alt coins. I would look for alt coins that are working on great project. These coins should have a solid background and they should be operating on their roadmap. I have a few coins meeting this criteria. They are NEO, PRG, RDD and POWR. Check these coins as they are good for investment.

That's money is good to this two coin ( Bitcoin and Ethereum ). This is the number one and two most popular and with a high price coin in this cryptocurrency. Don't hesitate to put your money in that two coin, that is most suggest coin to all investor. Or if ypu don't want just choose in the top 10 coins.

i have a suggestion. if you have that kind of money, you'd better invest in ethereum or bitcoin, I get a lot of benefits from ethereum and bitcoin, but I have not felt the benefits, sometimes the slightest profit, sometimes a backlash from the altcoin ico I bought.

Have you checked out pundi-x, it has been performing very well and still has a long way to go, the fundamentals are strong and potential is high, my personal target is 2 cents per npxs but i am sure it will do even better for longterm targets 5 to 10 cents range is also realistic.

Im sure you have earned alot when you did placed your money into DRG because currently it has good movements,price actions are much stable compare to other coins,the value keeps increasing slowly but surely so you need to hold thsoe DRG as i am holding it too tightly because i believe to its concept few months or years it will be much bigger.

You can always check out other ICOs not just those existing projects!

 For example maybe invest in an exchange. Its pretty evident we have  exchanges out there with the risk of being hacked just like Mt. Gox.

Another thing, you can check out projects which has uses in real life, and has a great team. ICOs who raises more than 3m usd (of course with proof they they did) in Pre-sale or private sale.

i would go for an safe way and invest 15k into Bitcoin. The other 5 k i would spread in some promising altcoins. And another Little parrt you can put into icos there are the highest riks but the highest gains aswell possible

Of all the coins that are now in the top on coinmarekcap, I am most sure of Ripple. This is a very stable coin, which slowly but surely grows in price. I think that this is an excellent option.

yes, I don't think it's necessary to put huge amounts to ICOs as if they work out, then the profit is enormous anyway and if not, well then it's a pure loss. Liquidity is usually pretty small there at the beginning too

Making investments on a single Cryptocurrency that you truly trust comes with a risk because you wont know what happens next. 20k is a good amount of money that can earn you good returns in the crypt o industry. You can divide this amount into three portions. first bit, invest int ETH, its the coin for the future and at the rate at which its growing,  it will gain more value with time. the second portion, you buy chap Alts with high growth potential. cons like EOS are showing great potential, you can look into then, the other portion, put into ICOs, but ensure their projects are worth investing in.

It depends on you only. If you need high profits, you need to take risks and invest in ICO or in any prospect. If you are willing to wait and you want to make a profit in 1-3 years, you can invest in the top 10, and that will be enough

No one can tell you Where or which is the bestto invest. Investing in ICOs is very dangerous, but if you succeed, you can get high profits, you can think about this investment.

XRP is not a good option. Good are BTC, ETH, EOS, IOST, CMT. you should take research yourself before making any decisions.

Don't invest it in just one coin. Invest in multiple coins for more money and more safe.

Invest in the real world and traditional investments and just hunt for bounties and airdrops here as your initial funds then trade to grow it more  ;)

Bitcoin. Take that money and buy bitcoin with it. You are better off buying bitcoin all of that money. Also diversify. It is better to diversify than to have all of your money in one coin. Mitigate the risks. Buy ethereum too. You are good if you only buy bitcoin and ethereum, they are the best coins

It seems to me that 99% of the guys here share your hopes, bro. However, I might not invest in Bitcoin now (probably, because I have several BTC). I'd choose the following alts: Golem, TRON, OmiseGo, and Komodo.

The best place to invest the twenty thousand dollars actually depend on your knowledge of the cryptocurrency market, if you are aware of the ups and downs recurring volatility of the coins and the dependency factors then its good to diversify your investment into different coins.

This is a lot of money, but they can be invested in promising altcoins and wait until they grow!

I don't know if you have invested or not, because seeing from this thread has been long, but if not I would suggest you to put your money in cardano coin. This is just a suggestion and you need to make your own research, there should be some more coins that I think are good to put on, but because the market is sick so the coin is not so visible how its potential.
