Seeing the growth of Altcoin in the last few months in 2018. Almost all Altcoins have fallen. Why do many people predict that from 2019 to 2020 there will be a soaring increase.
Do you think that the prediction will really happen?

Many people, myself included, think that good alts will do very well in future simply because they have great use cases that generate huge benefits over existing solutions in real world situations. Look at ETH and smart contracts for a start, and think about how transformative it can be. Anything that is more efficient and more cost-effective than present solutions will surely do well.

From my point of view, all altcoins are predominantly are such correlated to Bitcoin in such a way that, impact of Bitcoin on altcoins is immense. As far as predicting of any altcoins or even Bitcoin is concerned, I don't think any one could predit markets much easily, so I don't think predicting market direction would be helpful. But I would rather suggest that, before investing in any project you should try to understand the basics where is the project going to be utilized for and how hardworking team is engaged in the project.
So currently if you are invested in to some good projects, I would suggest you to hold on to it.

Probably, if you see the charts of the altcoin market from the start you'll see we have 1 year bull, 1 year bear and 1 year recovery and the cycle repeats again. Altcoins are going to recover in some days to come as I think it has touched the bottom about three days ago.  I did not expect bitcoin and altcoins market to go this low but since January till it has keep falling.  I believe in 2019 and 2020 an event will happen that is going to push bitcoin upwards and altcoins will follow.

Altoins have been bleeding severely that is true, and in future bear markets I will also reduce my exposure to alts. Altcoins are down because bitcoin went down. It will go back up i'm sure of it. As for failing by 2019/2020, only the good quality projects will survive and thats how it always has been. Don't take my word for it though. Many unpredicted things can happen.
