I will try to mention some reasons why ethereum has a future.
EEA which has gotten hundreds member, Ethereum 2.0 is on the way and many more. These will be the reason why ethereum should exist. Those comparisons created by FUDders and i will not take them all seriously.
Basically that comparisons can be considered as speculation only and no more. Did you remember when there was a new platform that created a comparisons with the old platform which has gained mass adoption? Most of them were claiming if they will have a better tech than it.

that was true and all that was just a speculation that could not necessarily be true. I personally do not doubt the future of ethereum, because there are many successful projects and great developers who are members of the ethereum ecosystem that always supports it. I think they are not arbitrary in choosing a platform and I believe they have strong reasons for choosing it.

Comparison will exist no matter how many of them are criticizing it.

I haven't read that thread and I don't even have to, Ethereum has a future for those who have been holding it just like me. We have our own reasons why this is going to be something in the future.

Its up to everyone perception and point of view whether eth can recover and gain some tractions in the future. For those who don't believe in eth feel free to leave and let those eth true holders stay. I know you are confuse what to do on you're eth either you sell it or what right. But if you search it well then you know eth has something on his sleeve.

I think some that was said in the article is true and some are not. But for me, i think ethereum would be ok in the next years as it could develop and its potential is very high because some of the ico projects takes ethereum to their project.

There are two main problems with ethereum. One being scalability as we can see it is really bloated now. Second is the sec cracking down on ico's meaning less demand for ethereum

The decision of the future of Ethereum depends mostly on the demand of people and investors. If the demand for cryptocurrency is higher than the supply, the price will go up again. The next year 2019 will determine the destiny of Ethereum and other altcoins.

We are expecting to the birth of ETH 2.0 but investors in this market lose their patience. Whether ETH 2.0 will come promptly to save the market?

Personally, I am thinking about the news of ETF in Feb 2019. I hope this will open the "green" market for us after the long bearish market.

What is the future of the Ethereum? - A common question I see a lot in this forum when the price of ETH goes down. In my opinion, the price of ETH will go up if the demand is increasing in the next year. But if the demand not increases, I think it very hard to ETH to recover at triple digits of rate.

I think ETH is by far the strongest smart contract platform. Yes it has problems and it needs to change, but this is true of most coins. The problems ETH is experiencing are a part of its development as it is used in real world situations. Many of ETHs competitors which are lauded as being technically superior have yet to have much real world use, but as they develop they will also encounter similar problems. It is just the case that ETH is further along in its development journey... which is a big point in its favour.

One good thing about crypto space is that ,you have a choice, if you think ETH will be good for the future, you stick to it.If you think there are other coin better than ETH, just go for them.If we can make our choice and stick to then instead of all these comparison and speculations,I guess it will be good for the crypto space.

I believe that crypto market is still live and Ethereum is too. Market will bounce back within some months. In my opinion, Eth and cryptocurrencies will become popular and it will be accepted like a payment method in near future.

Once Ethereum 2.0 comes out close to 2020 (lol) then theres a future.

It depends on two things, the success of ETH 2.0 or if we have successfully moved past the bear market is February. Specially the second condition, if this is met then probably we can see ETH having a good bounce with their ETH 20.0. So let's see how it goes.

Etherum is one of the best performing coins. With a high level of transaction volume, Etherum has gained good trust from the public. For me that Etherum has a good level and has a bright future. It all depends on our attitude in trying and supporting various efforts to improve Crypto capabilities in the world for the better. Ethereum is suffering the hangover caused by its success. Ethereum was the first coin that was ever widely used to do something other than be a simple store of value. This boom attracted speculators that did not know what they were doing and scammers seeking to take advantage of their stupidity. Since this flow was built on making easy money when that stopped happening the money dried up. This speculation also attracted the attention of regulators who have been stepping in to prevent idiots from losing their money. Once the industry adapts to the new regulations we will see Ethereum rise again as the King Of STO's.

I believe in the brilliant future of Ethereum as a platform and cryptocurrency. It is a good platform for dApps that have a good team of developers and support from serious companies.

you need to remember that ethereum is an altcoin and like any other altcoin they are always replaced by a newer and better model. and everyone knows that ethereum has lots of problems, most of which are unsolvable. so that has opened up a lot of room for alternative similar platforms to come up and start replacing it.

Ethereum is a king of altcoin and Upcoming hard fork makes more concern about ethereum. Their are also so many price manipulations in ethereum and its almost twenty percent going up and down within a day. Their are some good news too and as I heard that ethereum foundation grant 5million dollars for parity technologies then it's a good signal of eth.

I think ethereum have a really great future in upcoming days. Cause after a long time ethereum devolopers announced the big news ethereum 2.0. Etheruem as the cryptocurrency mother cause it network house all the other altcoin which are ERC20 base have the a great features that will be every relevance cause the cryptocurrency network is still developing and with time come new development which will be base of the etheruem blockchain network. At the moment I still see Etherium is the leader of projects coming to blockchain technology. There are projects building their own blockchain, but I haven't seen projects to other onown existing blockchain ( at least I don't know). Etherium blockchain is much scalabe to adapt decentralized large scale applications.

The thread was started by the end month of 2018, by that time the market of ethereum was facing a massive down market. After months slowly the recovery began to happen with fluctuations taking the price of ethereum reach high and fall back. Now it is around $140, upon which I expect good growth to take place along with the growth of bitcoin.

We have known that it did good during those times when bitcoin was doing good as well though for most of the time it did have some problems surpassing bitcoin but it did always ranks second. Different people have various views on a single thing. In case of ethereum, I love the coin very much as am always a fan of the coin. Now its price is on the decline.
