Night all. What makes you still survive with the declining crypto market? How much optimism are you about the future of cryptocurrency? I would like to quote my experience when trading, namely never giving up when experiencing losses. How do you respond when you lose? Thank you in advance. Success for you.

The entire cryptocurrency space have to do with patents and not taking hasty decisions, am very optimistic that the future of cryptocurrency is bright and at that both trading and holding needs lot of skills and patents because if you have good trading skills you can still make profits at any period and no matter the conditions of the market because you will know how to fine your way and make good trading decisions.

for me, i always optimistic whether i lose/profit from trading and if i lose from my trading i always think that is a part of learning to get better on trading

As i am not into margin trading so im not much concerned about loosing trades because in the end you can still have btc and eth i mean even if you buy any alt and that end up in loss you can still exchange and get btc so in the end you may have lost some percentage of btc but at the same time you can earn that back from other trades.

When we have entered the trade, we must be very prepared with all the risks involved. One of the risks is loss of money or time. I am also optimistic that the future of the cryptocurrency will be bright, because of the rapid development of technology from day to day. That's the main reason I still stick with the situation. I don't agree that the market is declining. It was declining up until few months back when it hit the bottom. Right now it is steadily growing.

You only experience loss when you cash out or withdraw. If you HODL then you just have to be patient.
In my experience, it's a lot less stressful to just buy somewhere at the bottom then wait few years for a bullrun. In the meantime if you dont have cash, get a job or do something

The main thing is not to despair, and not to invest money that you cannot lose. Bearish trend will end sooner or later, and then again begin, the main thing that the crypto is not dead.

It is all a matter of perspective. It depends how you approach the crypto trading.

If you treat your trading as business, then your losses are nothing else but business expenses, but

if you treat your trading as gambling, then your losses can really be devastating.

I like to take the first approach. But then, in order for your trading to be a business, you have to develop a trading system. Your trading has to have a well defined structure. By structure, I mean you have to have a well defined entry and exit, there has to be a confluence of different objective factors that tell you when to enter and when to exit. You have to mitigate risks by using stop losses. You have to have an impeccable money and risk management. Trading in crypto currency is not an easy job as it require a lot of patience and knowledge about the market before you make an informed decision. With my experience on this market, I've been reliant on this market and get used to the swings. Being optimistic by looking at the past charts will give you that encouragement that you should believe in this market's future.

I never trade on a bear market, so I haven't had experience about it yet. Well, I am highly optimistic about the future of Bitcoin and that's what have motivated me to collect Bitcoin as many as I can. What about losing? mid 2017 all the way to Jan 2018 was epic to have made money (should have been selling everything mainly DEC 2017!).  since then well it's been very harsh...i think one OK spike in march (or may?) 2018...other than that...shit dumping all over.

You probably need a bot if you really want to profit from cryptotrading because most of the trading volume come from bots. I think its better to hodl for months and then trade it, it has been a good strategy for me.

I still calm even if I lose money I didn't bother at all because I know that it will goes up again and never sell your coin without profit just wait for the coin to reach the resistance once again, never give up when you experience lose just always think positive when it comes to trading trade what you can afford to lose.

I was here during bitcoin up to $ 20k and I lost a lot. The lesson I learned if I wanted to make a profit in that crypto market was vision. Well, if you are really a good investor, you should not let your emotion affect you in any situation, if you loss, then accept it but you have to improve by correcting your mistakes. Learning is very important, we will make bad decision along the way but as we stay longer, we get better, that should be.

That's not necessary to use bot. the fact that depends on your analyzation and if you are doing it so bad and then you will be lost your amount. It's better to become a medium trader rather than take short or long term traders. Bot can't determine how much your profit.

If you are giving up from trade while you are lost, then you are in a big loss because you are not trying to recover you're losing by continue trading.
You will lose all of every chance you can get from trading because in the market, you will found so many potential coins to trade and I am sure that someday, you will make a big profit so you can recover your losses.
It is normal to get lost in trading, and I am sure that every trader will have the same experience as you, but the difference is they are not giving up and they still trade no matter their funds is not big as before.

And who is going to tell the bot what to do? It seems some people in the forum have the idea that bots can do everything by themselves but if you are not profitable trading by yourself then how do you expect to code a bot that can give you profits? And even if you buy a bot that already comes with predefined strategies, how can you tell if the strategy that comes with the bot is a profitable one? In my opinion there is no way around it we need to learn how to trade and then we can try to find a way to automate it.

I just lost because I didn't make a sale when the price was enough to go up, I was too eager and didn't know that bitcoin experienced ATH, which was big enough that it caused my assets to drop by 30-50% and here I thought the crypto movement was hard to guess more research so that similar incidents are not repeated, and maybe other new challengers must also think about doing this

Very unsurprising news last one and half years I have earn only half Ethereum. Although some token still don't get just as usual all devs do pending withdrawal token. So I'm trying to became professional traders and gather huge information from experience persons.

I always support this point of view. It may seem strange, but the bear market managed to give us many advantages - people started to work, not simply investing in cryptocurrencies and waiting for the time when they go up and the profit can be taken.

Well, it depends on the coin you are trading, if it was bitcoin, then there won’t be need to panic sell because there is total assurance of recovery of loss when the increase comes, which is inevitable, but we have some coins that you cannot blame yourself for when you panic sell, especially some coins that keeps dumping continuously without appreciating, so the better you stop your loss by selling, the earlier the better before you lose it all.

You forget to mention the necessary skills for understanding and using the leverage properly. Exchanges offer the margin trading but I don't advise to trade with the leveraged pairs. I'm a core trader but most times I prefer mid term trading rather than day trading. I combine TA and FA to make my picks, and once I buy, I place my sell order at my sell target immediately and wait for it to be bought. I don't trade without stop loss too, usually -5% and I don't normally sort for very high gains. Personally,  I'm always optimistic about the future of cryptocurrency  because I know it's very bright beyond description. About the question of what one would do in times of losses, I'll advice not to give up. Just learn from whatever mistake you have made and move on. When the good times come, you will be amazed!

I am very much optimistic and think that crypto has a very bright future. Of course, there are chances of loses, since this a type of business and there are always risks in business, but it is a significant learning curve for all of us. I believe that crypto has a very bright future.

I lost quite a bit in the crypto market. I invested blindly without careful analysis, in 1 month, I lost more than 3k $.
but I never gave up. Think that we are young, those failures will give us the quintessential experience so that the future no longer faces mistakes.
Now we can lose $ 3k but we can prevent bigger losses in the future by experience. Always think optimistically buddy  ;)

Cryptocurrencies in my opinion is taking over the corporate world as we know it. There are projects aside bitcoin ethereum and other top cryptocurrencies.
Trading, for trading, personally i don't dobit cos it can be stressful for beginners intead, i use it for eslxit and entry strategies

Trading won't give you a stable income because there will be time that you will lose and get frustrated and there will be winning time too so its not something you should rely on unless you are a real trading expert

I've heard the rules in trading, the market is always right. Whatever we are trading in, whether FA or TA, both are just tools to determine the point where we have to buy and when we should sell. be calm when losing, and learn from the mistakes we made.

I am not trying to day trade here, just transform my portfolio from time to time, trying to predict big trends. I am sure that crypto will rise again - maybe this year, maybe later. Trying to win fast is not a good idea I think.

For now, I'm not making any money from crypto trading. I have halted the trading, and I'm waiting for the market to recover. I'm still holding my tokens and don't have any intention of selling now.

Its kind of safe and conservative but not the most profitable I guess because the trader who takes enough risks when the market is in up and down condition are going to make more money than the one who is simply holding it in long term.

Losses is what everyone should expect when trading cryptocurrency. The right thing is to be ansle to manage the losses. I think its good to do a buy back as much as one can when there's loss in order to make up for the loss when the price of the coin increases.

Buying the dip gives the advantage to the trader but it usually depends on the trading outcome. Saving money doesn't help and stable coins will protect the risks born from risky crypto trades. Bloody altcoin market will come to an end and that day everyone will start hype trades. Market conditions will not change soon but the emotional traders started to change their old HODL trades.

We can make a good profit even when the market bearish.
The only thing you need is the right timing to buy when it's on dip.
Market will not always move down but they will bounce when they are already on the bottom, crypto market price is quite volatile so be prepared.

yeah i think crypto trading from income is extra income for trading known people. all trading have risk and loss. when we are buy some coin, ETH, BTC for trading and follow the bear.suddenly we can see that bear market fall down. just we are wait for bear market when do pump and we can try to recover capital. present market situation is not perfect time to eran big profit that i think. we are hoped that as possible as soon bear market can increces and again we can get chance for good trading income.

If you can do away with greed, always use stop loss function, master your TA and also use FA to trade, avoid dumping at severe dips then you have chances of making it but with trading. I trade not so often , but a lot of transactions I have in profit , and I think you should try to follow the risk management in order not to remain in the future in the red , as cryptotrading is now a very profitable business.

In the last uptrend, the  BTC price made an A&E trading pattern on the H1 chart, the price will soar to complete the formation but the rest of the price action is unclear by my side. Making income in the bull market shouldn't be hard for the experienced traders but the situation is totally different in the bear market.  Smart little positions can be out-smarted by the other smart traders who know this market better than others.

my principle of trading is very easy,

Have learnt alot in crypto business, with all the experience have gathered so far, i always placed my on the fact that trading is like gambling, I can lose or gain, is 50/50 so each time I trade, either I lose or gain, is all good.

so like you, i am thinking of buying some other type of altcoin and trying to recover my losses. so far the results have been quite good, although my money has not been fully returned but i am quite happy.

As an experienced trader, the three things that have kept me going are : stop loss function, patience and avoiding greed. I use stop loss always to prevent massive loss when there is a huge dip and I also take profit when it's OK by me, not necessarily waiting for 100% gain or more. I use some of my profit made from trading to buy some coins for long term hold, and convert some to FIAT for daily use. You should have it in mind that you must not always win all your trades and also cut down on your emotions while trading. Be sure to work with TA and FA.

Earning from crypto trading is depends on the expertise and good lucks, all the time we can't get profit, sometimes we suffer losses. If you have more than $1000 USD in BTC than can make a good profit and can also bear some loss but if you have little amount than can's survive and also can't get income from crypto trading.

I have tried to trade for sometime now and I can relate to what you said that trading requires patients cos there are situations where I have always made very hasty decisions and it has backfired. You can actually make profit while trading but it requires patients and dedication

Starting balance can be less than $100, even demo trading can be useful in order to learn the basic market movements. Price action traders use the small amounts for each strategy and they never go over the amount which they consider the risky.  Trading is like businesses, the up and downs of any business should be welcomed calmly by the skilful business holder.

Declining market teaches but that time will be too late if you "gamble" with your real money. Going all in is an absurdity, in my opinion, there are tons of different project coins and the single project can't be such perfect for entering the trade with all available investment balance.

If I receive losses when investing, then I do not try to sell the coin, but I start to hold the coin in the hope that it will someday grow. You can of course be disappointed to transfer your crumbs to other coins, but there you can get losses. Better to keep coins until a better rate.
