How does CoinsPaid makes sure my funds are protected

We implement the best practice of wallet management using 3 types of wallets.

One is the “hot wallet”. This is a dedicated hosted wallet provided by CoinsPaid. Hot wallets are used for everyday operations.

According to our management algorithms, we move extra funds to our cold wallet to ensure their safety. A hot wallet holds an average 2-4% of all of the assets.

We make sure all of the funds in hot wallets are company’s operating funds. So in the very unlikely scenario, there is a hack our clients’ money is safe offline.

The second type is an external wallet. When the user joins they choose a maximum limit of funds (a small amount) to be kept in CoinsPaid processing system.

Cubits was a fuckup? Definitely yes! I was a face of the brand, I was talking on conferences and speaking to most of big clients as I was effectively heading Cubits business development department. I had a very stressful few months after Cubits shut down.
I am sure you are aware that Business developers don't have access to bank account of other client or company funds. Cubits was closed due to a Fraud from payment provider named "Paysec" as you can see in the post that you have shared. I was invited to speak to the police investigating this case and i am constantly helping detectives and administration who are doing their best to return money to creditors.
Yes, I feel responsible for what happened, but realistically the situation was not under my supervision as I was not managing payment provider relationships. If you are attentive enough, I am the only one who left Cubits as my previous work place in the linkedin (https://www.linkedin.com/in/max-krupyshev-3032bb1a/), all the rest of my colleagues had removed all mentions of Cubits from any social networks.

I am a Bitcoin supporter since 2013.

- I was handling free education sessions for public for 1.5 years on a weekly basis.

2019 was another amazing year for CoinsPaid. We processed almost 1.5 million transactions for a total of 265 million euro. This is 3.5 times more than 2018! Our overall volume of currency conversion transactions reached EUR 35 million, and the number of merchants grew to 226. CoinsPaid transactions are now found in almost every block on the Bitcoin blockchain!

Our product team has expanded from 4 team members to 30, and the number of cryptocurrencies we support has increased to 31. Moreover, we've added support for 23 fiat currencies.

Although we had many wins in 2019, we were unable to conduct an IEO.

Conducting an IEO was one of our goals for the on-going year, but we abandoned the idea after discussing the conditions with exchanges and examining the market in fine detail.

We will definitely share this experience with you in the new year, but for now, we're moving on and 2020 will bring even more exciting developments – for instance:
