After winning against shawn . Errol Spence Jr. said "i want Manny Pacquiao " on the interview . Are you guys still confident to put money on errol spence line?
For me in my own opinion its a big NO! Even this is not the right time to make a predictions.  And perhaps no need at all ?Lol . Imagine that kid want to box the living legend Pacquiao?  Oh my gosh it would be a next margarito vs Pacquiao for sure!  Lol just saying because i am now not empress on his skill after fighting shawn.  wherein they are totally the same what i mean no thrill like hide and seek behind their ears?   Ops sorry errol spence fans because Pacquiao speed and power is very amazing and there's no way Errol Spence  can place hes  head under Pacquiao shoulders.  Lol And it's like old man throwing a kid out on the ring. No offense guysl!  Peace!  

Spence definitely has the stamina to go 12 solid rounds, which is exactly what the fight will be when he goes up against the Pacman. However, based on the fact that Pacquiao beat Thurman, and Thurman beat Porter by UD during his prime, it stands to reason that both Thurman and Pacquiao are better than Spence Jr.

I predict he would lose to Pacman by UD, or possibly get knocked out in a bang out. The old man still has some brutal power and can work at a high pace, but I think his short sharp body jabs will sap the energy from Spence.

Usually those boxers just want their name beside Pacman even they have very small chance of winning against him in the first place. If there will be a fight between the 2, I would definitely place a bet for Pacman even the odds will be very low. I don't see a chance for Spence Jr to beat Pacman

Let the man speak to his liking, it's what most fighters do today anyway. They want big fights, they want money fights! and if they believe they earn it, then let them be. Once Manny find out about this challenge, he will probably just laugh it off. I don't think the fight between the two is going to happen. I would rather wait for both fighter to sign the contract before making an assessment on who is going to win.

I agree so many things still going to happen leading to the fight, but if you bring Pacquiao and Spence in the ring with both having the same condition that they have, prior to both of their last fights, I'm 100% on Pacquiao Spence is having a hard time against Spence, it could be Porter's victory if not for that knockdown which to me is not actually a knockdown.

If ever this match happen, I'll support and bet for Many Pacquiao since his agility, strength, and speed doesn't reduce despite of his age. Pacman's experience is still an advantage despite of his opponent's young age. He's very open for every possible fight specially if his opponent is undefeated since it's kinda boring for him to fight aginst a challenger who got defeated already by his previous opponent that he already defeated.

Well, in my opinion, I think Errol Spence Jr. can have a stamina fight against Manny Pacquiao he may last for 12 rounds but I am guessing that he will not win against the people's champ, And like OP I am pretty confident with Pacman's Speed and Agility that he can bombard Spence with jab and punches but he will surely use his experience and control the fight and right now Pacman is a safe fighter in my opinion and a veteran with it, but even though Pacman can control Spence in his fight I guess Pacquiao will win in Unanimous decision with a big score from the judges, I am pretty confident with Pacman but he will not underestimate Spence and take light of his opponent.

This is still too early but we're all hoping that it will push thru, it's good for the boxing community that only the best boxers in their division meet, I'm all out for Pacquiao, a boxer's performance is judged based  on his last fight and we can all see who has the edge based on their last fight. But like what I posted it's still a long way and many things can happen and we all know Pacquiao is loaded with so many works as a Senator.

Or maybe you can call this as Errol Spence Jr over-confidence when he targets Manny Pacquiao. ?    He has beaten shawn but can he take up the same winning and beat Pacquiao ? I do not think so.

It's actually a way for a boxer to have a match to a well known and famous boxer like manny pacquiao so they would also get famous even though they have a small chance to win. They could also earn lots of money just by having a match with manny pacquiao. I'm sure there will be lots of bettor who will bet in this kind of match.

This will be like the time when Pacquiao fought against Bronner and Thurman where even I as a fan think that they are both out of his league that Pacquiao is out of his prime and he will get a big beating from them, the same goes for Errol Spence Jr. I always look at Pacquiao as the underdog in all of his latest matches because of his age but time and time proves me wrong that age isn't really a factor for him at least he still is fast and that powerful punch that can deliver a knockdown. This time Spence is on a much higher level and I can't really put too much confidence that Pacquaio will still do the same on his last two fights. For me I cannot really put a final word that Pacquiao can win in this fight or if he can even keep up with Spence in the ring.

Some might think that Pacquiao is not the same as he used to be. It's true, Pacquiao is indeed a powerful boxer when he was still at his young age but as time goes pacquiao did change. Even though he is not as powerful before but experience would also be an ace in his pocket. Pacquiao can still throw powerful punches even at his age now (not as powerful when he was a bit younger as I said).

I think almost every fighter is expecting to fight with Manny Pacquiao to really taste the punch of the people's champ. I think everyone was wondering what's it like to hit with the punch of the people's champ or i could be wrong, maybe they just want to get close to him because his name is like a perfume spreading all over the place. ;D

Stamina would be the issue here for Manny.I cant say that he wont already last up but on his recent fights you can really tell the difference of his stamina if the fight goes
to end or more rounds.Age does affect him but when it comes to punches,Manny do still have it.

Betting between spence and pacquiao? Sure thing for Manny here but this fight shouldn't be confidently taken.

Because this is a gain for him whether he win or lose the match if it is locked in so this is going to be a big break for Errol. Fighting the legend is already a big honor and I think Manny will give him the approval if it came from him but AFAIK the one that Manny wants to fight is really Floyd.

It's not about the skill and speed that Errol has but I think it's everyone boxer wants to have, to fight with the living legend. This is one big exposure for him but I remember the fight of Manny and Horn, after winning I don't know where that guy is right now.

You can't compare Margarito and Spence here. Margarito is slow plodding boxer, no head movement and the only thing he do is go and fight forward which is a style that really matches Manny Pacquiao that's why they said yes and fought Margarito even if he is huge and tall and a true Middleweight. We are not impressed by his skills because style makes fight. Spence is not a brawler that's why he had a hard time fighting Porter style. And it's true what Porter said prior to the fight that he will make Spence adjust and uncomfortable, but it was not enough to win him the fight because he was knock down and was caught going inside.

Of course Spence will call Pacquaio, Manny is still the cash cow of that division and Spence is looking for money fight. No other fighter in that division can offer him big money unless the name is Manny Pacquiao. Crawford is the next best thing, but then again Arum are going to protect him at all cost and won't let Crawford fight Spence because its too risky.

We always talk about "experience" when an older fighter is facing against a younger fighter but of course we all know Pacquiao has an advantage for that since he is a veteran in the sport and probably the oldest boxer defending and contending a title in their division. But experience cannot always be the determining factor on who will win a boxing match and it can only go so far, we still have other things to consider like stamina, speed, power, and boxing IQ everything basically comes into play and you cannot rule one out of saying just because of this he will win the fight, it doesn't really work that way and a lot of analyst got proven wrong by that way of thinking.

Why is everyone asking for Pacquiao's match whenever they beat somebody? Is it because of the paycheck, the fame they will get? I wish Pacquiao will retire and give the stage to younger boxers but it seems that he still wants to fight. Sadly! I hope he will not hang up the gloves beaten and lost. Our body can only take so much. He already gave a stunning boxing record. I think that's more than enough.

Well" congrats for him for the win, and one big clap for their confidence to fight against the living legend in boxing (Pacman) but yes isn't the time to prove itself to fight against many, I think this young boxers want to use many name to get in pedestal.

Pacman didn't look to be slowing down in his last performance against Thurman, so I doubt he'll be much different if he gets it on within Spence in the next 12 months or so.

However, he is fighting a young lion, so anything can happen, but Spence is looking to fight one of the all-time greats... I really don't think Spence is on Pacman's level... Unless he catches him when he's old.

There isn't even a chance for Errol Spence to fight against Pacquiao, Pacquiao won't waste his time to fight against a troll, he needs a legendary contender, like him. So I think Spence was just looking for the buzz, and he found it.

Now, it seems that Pacquiao is destined to fight every young boxer who will emerge as winner from other boxing matches.
When will he stop fighting and just retire for his own good?
Does he want to prove more of himself in the ring? It is not about the money I believe, he is pretty much financially settled already.
But then again, I might still want to watch this fight to see how Manny will perform this time...

I watch the previous fight of  Errol Spence, he maybe a hard hitter but I don't think that it is good enough to KO Manny in just 1 punch.  Speed wise spence is kinda slow to catch up with Manny's speed.  Spence might be undefeated but the question is,  can he retain the undefeated records once he fights Manny.  Spence maybe younger fighter but speed, experience goes to Manny and I believe this is enough to say that Manny have a higher chance of winning the fight if ever they were matched.

I don't know how much more fight he will going to accept maybe he's waiting for the Pacman-Mayweather rematch before he will eventually going to retire. I don't think it is all about the money he seemed to be financially stabled, plus with his current spot as a senator in his country. But I don't have a doubt about of his speed, agility, and strength he's still my favourite fighter. ;)

We don't know on whats up to his mind on whats the enough reason for him to retire.If I were on his foot its better to retire while he haven't experienced injuries or worst some
accidents into its upcoming fights yet we know that anything can happen.

It would take still more long years before spence will able to catch or match up with Manny in terms of experience.

I think that there's still one or two fight left in him. There is a rumor that he will fight Amir Khan next year in Dubai. This will be a good one for him before a rematch with Floyd Mayweather but if he can't get that rematch it is better for him to retire. A fight with Spence is not healthy for him.

We wonder why Manny still fight despite those accumulated wealth that he had. There is a rumor again that some of his business is losing ;D.

He's calling Manny's name to add more exposure for his boxing career, it's not a question of skills but opportunities to fight with the living legend. It will just like Thurman's perception thinking that because of age Gap advantage can be taken from the real champ. Manny will always be Manny maybe the speed is not the same from his prime but the talent and the dedication that he's bringing to this sport will serve as his advantage. We will see if this match will happen soon.

It's pretty obvious mate, they want to beat a living legend and the paycheck and fame is there.

Definitely, Paquiao will retire but he can still duke it out with the best of them that's why he is not slowing down anytime soon. We can't really say what's on Manny's mind and body, it's really up to him when he wanted to retire and hang up his gloves.

As for Spence vs Pacquiao, I think that Pacquiao can give Spence a good fight, Porter made it really hard for Spence, what more if that is Pacquiao putting pressure on him?

You're right, but if a fighter, and especially an old one wants to be able to do the biggest ones, he must preserve himself for them, and not accept every single fight.

Pacquiao has still a huge chance to win if this match will happen. Spence was exposed against Porter, he survived the early round beating, I think the knock out on the 11th was the only thing thats holding for him to get the win.
Speed and agility is Pacquiao's edge against Porter. Still, I admire the stamina and strength of Spence and Porter, I though they'll be gassed out entering the 11th or 12th round. Nevertheless, this could be a goof match up.

From now, there are so many things that are going to happen, who knows Mayweather accept the challenge and change his mind and now wants  to fight Manny Pacquiao that would be one hell of a big event next year, they have a heated argument on social media, I honestly think it's not only the money or fighting the top boxer in his division, I think it's more of wanting to show Mayweather that he is ready for the rematch. 

Almost every young boxers now aim to fight Pacquiao while he is still active in boxing with, yes, both fame and money as the reason. But Pacquiao's reason why he still wanted to fight is because of his fans. I remembered he mentioned about it. He still wants to show a good fight and entertainment to his fans by continuing his boxing career.

Well, Pacquiao can still able to fight despite his old age compared to most boxers these days. He already prove his worth and skill as one of the greatest boxer of all time. Spence has a lot of will to defeat him since he's young and hungry to win to also prove his worth as a boxer. Given these facts, this will surely be a great fight, though there is still a low chance for this to happen as for now. If the fans want this fight, it's possible he will consider fighting.

Every boxer wants a legendary in their list, and Pacquiao is one legendary that every boxer desires to have on their list of victory, although he is still good and can dominate younger and good boxer, I still want him to retire at his peak.
But he still going for unfinished business against Floyd Mayweather and these boxers are just stepping stone leading to that mega-fight, but the ball is still in Mayweather's hand.

Pacquiao is all for entertainment, he will fight whoever challenges so long as negotiations are done. However this fight may not really happen in US soil, it will have to be elswhere. Most probably here in the Philippines that is because US are about to bann people to enter US soil who are involved in jailing Senator Leila Delima and Pacquiao is one of them.

We will see how this will develop in the following weeks. It was actually a prospect that Manny might be fighting whoever wins between the match of Porter and Spence. And now that Spence has come out the winner, but not a convincing one at that, he is coming out calling the superstar with the hope that a larger purse is waiting for him.

This is one hungry and growing fighter trying to make something out of an event whose hype is ending. He took the opportunity while it was still hot. Let us wait how this will be received by the Pacquiao camp.

A lot of things are going to happen now if Mayweather suddenly changes his mind and wants to fight Pacquiao, I'm pretty sure he'll go for a dream match than go for Spence, both fights are attractive but the Mayweather fights is something everybody wants, only Floyd is the one not wanting this to happen, next year will be excited for whoever Pacquiao will meet in the ring.

@Ararbermas this is just a publicity stunt nothing more, if he was serious about fighting Pacquiao he would have made concrete efforts to get this match official rather than do this publicity stunt. Even if we were to assume that the match is on Errol will get the beating of his life, Paccquiao may be old but he can easily beat him. It’s pertinent to note that he’s also mentioned he wants to fight Danny Garcia next if the fight with Pacquiao cannot be arranged, so let’s see whom he gets to fight next.

This fact described that Pacman still have appeal for new boxer, and they knew need to defead pacman to shown boxing world that they are the next great boxer.

If Pacman know about this and there are promoters who want to do this match I don't think Pacman will refuse to fight Spence Jr.

He is simply selling himself out and that's what we are seeing in most fighters now. They want to cash in while they are at "peak" or fighting in top condition.

Oh Manny has slowed down. You can just look at his earlier fights and you will know. He has become a better thinker as he aged and he pace himself so that he won't tire out easily. The Thurman fight is a perfect example of that.

To be honest, I would rather see a Pacquiao-Spence match rather than a Pacquiao-Mayweather match. The latter is a Manny-Money match. LOL. What I actually mean to say is that it is just all about the money. There is even less entertainment in that fight. Their pretty faces will be untouched and the same before and after they make 12 boring rounds inside the ring. That would not even be a fight at all.

At least with a Pacquiao-Spence match, someone is obviously very hungry to prove something, and that is enough to make the older one among the two take it more seriously, and that would make the fight exciting.

In the 2nd article, it says that the fight between the 2 should happen in 2020, and if these two would agree, this would be good for the boxing.
I believe Spence is a real warrior compared to Mayweather as he knows how to respect and therefore deserve to be respected.

About money matter, I think it will be one of the biggest fight in boxing.

Judging the match between Spence and Porter, it seems like Spence is capable of fighting toe to toe with Pacquiao and its gonna be a good war to watch.  Although he's speed doesnt match with Pacquiao's, but surely he can handle Pacquiao's punch as his age are causing to reduce his punching power plus he (Spence) have solid stomach that could withstand the 12 rounds and a tough chin. This match will probably end in a unanimous decision.
I love to see this match, because if Im not mistaken this is the 2nd time Spence is calling out Pacquiao after his win.

Spence will be a favorite if he will face pacman but it should not be a heavy favorite as people already saw how spence is vulnerable of losing, in fact he didn't dominate this fight. The fans would love to see these 2 fighting and they will stop pushing a Mayweather vs Pacman as that should be a boring fight.
Manny likes a toe to toe fight and I think Spence would also not back up, unless he will be hit hard and will be knock down.

But overall, I believe this fight should push through as this is gonna be a good one.

That isn't a problem if Spence win over Porter so he can fight Pacquiao. He must do his best in order to beat Porter and have a match on Manny, and most probably he'd be the next to be added of Pacman's collection of knock out buddies.

No man, Manny is too old to get a knockout. But if this fight progress and happen next year, then we may probably see a vintage Manny going to to toe against his opponent. But if the fight will not happen next year, it would be better for Manny to hang his gloves because I think he can't coup up with the young boxers after 2020.

Until they talk, agreed and sign a contract, only then we can be sure that this fight will push thru, but so many things might happen alone, like Pacquiao decide to retire, because he couldn't get Mayweather to fight him in a mega fight, ot Mayweather decides to get out of retirement and decide that he wants that rematch Manny has been asking.

Pacquiao is already on age 40 and im sure that he wont able to reach that age until he retire, maybe 43-45 might be his target

Fight between Spence and Him would be entertaining but Pacquiao do still have the edge on any angles.Speed/Agile and Power and experience.

If he can't get that rematch with Floyd Mayweather then better hand up the gloves for good. He may give a good fight with the young ones in the welter weight division but he is also compromising his health. Fight fans wanted to see Manny vs Spence but i don't think that it would happen. I only see three probable opponents of Manny in his next fight, Mickey Garcia, Amir Khan and Floyd Mayweather.

If he want just a stay busy fight before Floyd Mayweather I agree, then Amir Khan would be a perfect match for Pacquiao. Amir at this point of his career is already a wash up fighter. And he wanted to fight Manny for the sake of that big pay check before he retires. Mickey Garcia is another good option for Pacquiao, less risk for him as well. Mickey doesn't have the pop at higher weight because he is a natural 135 pounder. So if he decided to go up at 147 and fight Manny then Pacquiao will just punished him.

I would like to see that matchup, definitely, the living legend Manny Pacquiao can still compete with these current generation welterweights, as I can see in the in Spence vs Porter fight, he isn't that good as most of the fans say he is, Thurman is still above him in skill level in opinion.

True that. But this is something for himself, challenging a popular fighter will bring him to attention though. This could land him to another big fight before Pacquiao which a promoter will have to give him PR which will also be a good media appearances for both. Pacquiao is getting old and he will take fight whoever is there as well not just to please fans but also for his political career.

Nah, I'm tired of that Pacman-Mayweather rematch to happen because everytime Pacman ask for it to Mayweather, he's always avoiding it. Manny Pacquiao has hinted that he is willing to fight again whoever they put in front of him. So definitely if Spence and Pacquiao sit down and talk then we can see a explosive fight next year. Manny is moving with his career with or without Floyd.

I know that Spence Jr. was very different in the Porter fight and I'm sure Manny find some weaknesses if ever they face and fight each other. I will give the edge to Manny because of his experience and his fighting style.

I dont think theres a heavy favor on both sides as well as huge betting odds. The only threat I see as Pacquiao's opponent is Terrence Crawford.

Most boxers wants exposure and also for the amount of money they can earn from fighting Manny. Either win or lose the amount of money they can gain and not to mention the glory if ever they win against Manny will bring their name some credibility as a boxer. No wonder, a lot of boxers wants to fight Manny Pacquiao.

The Pacman had already brought a lot of glory and honor to the Philippines and in fact he is the one putting the country on the map with his sports of boxing. I think it is also time for us as a fan of Manny to convince him to retire or fan less risky fighter. I just saw that fight with Thurman that father time is already catching him, if that fight had two more rounds, he would lose. He ran out of gas and Thurman knew it that is why he is asking for a rematch because he knew what to do in order to beat Manny if there is a rematch between them.

If every we can see a fight between these two great boxers, it should be also like the fight of Keith Thurman for sure. Since Keith Thurman was undefeated before the fight against Manny Pacquiao. But this Errol Spence Jr. is much younger, 29 years old and on his 26 fights, all wins, and really surprising, 21 knockouts on his entire 26 win games.
Well, this fight is not impossible. Hopefully, this will work out.

I've watched a few of Spence's fights and the guy's actually good. Though definitely not in the level of Pacquiao even at this point of his career. It's likely going to be a clinic with skill and experience being the deciding factor. It's always been a trend in boxing for young upcoming guys to challenge established big names like pacquiao and mayweather. And it's quite amusing to watch these grizzeld vets school these kids.

That would probably be the scenario that we are going to witness, if he struggled against Porter, how can he defeat Pacman?
Spence maybe have the power but Manny's quickness, will give him a problem in using his power, we've seen how he beat Thurman which I think Thurman is a better fighter and if I'm not mistaken, Thurman beat Porter as well.

This will be a great fight and we might see a knock down if Spence will remain aggressive.

We should throw away youth if Pacquiao and Spence met, Pacquiao has proven that he still has the speed and power, our analysis now should be concentrated on how good their skills are and match their skills and power, based on their last fight which is always been the basis for future fights, Pacquiao has the edge, the training has a big factor so we'll see how we analyze things when the contract has been signed.

we should not disregard the age as a factor here because we are talking about 11 years of age gap. in some way, it has effect on their performance. however, training and experience will be crucial in this game!
if it will ever happen, the fight result would be interesting to know. just to see how far Pacquiao is in this boxing game.

Being the younger dude than Pacman himself, Spence Jr. can definitely last 12 rounds if we’re talking about stamina and him not getting caught in Pac’s flurry of punches. We know that even at 40+ years of age, Pacquiao still has the power, the speed and the technique to knock out an opponent younger and faster than him. I would gladly place a bet on Pacquiao’s moneyline and not think about the result much since we know it’s too obvious who’s gonna win.

If Manny vs Spence would not be possible, I'd rather want to see Thurman vs Spence than Spence vs Garcia.
If the fight of Thurman vs Spence will happen, I think Thurman will win although I believe that he will become the underdog in the fight.

I am hoping with you. This fight is an interesting match, far more interesting than the possible Pacquiao-Mayweather bout. The latter is probably going to become a running or dancing match inside the ring. But if the match will show us a Mayweather getting KOed or even knocked down and defeated, I prefer to watch it happen first before the Manny- Errol match.  ;)

Spence is a knockout artist, clearly his records show, but I think it will be a little hard to see that ability fighting against Manny Pacquiao. There will be a lot of respect for sure. There will be testing of the waters in the early rounds and if he can feel the strong punches of the old veteran, he might not push for it anymore. In the same way that Thurman had a good KO ratio as well with his 31-29-22 record but it didn't come out also against Manny.

Despite the age of Manny I still see him as a good boxer and if this fight is real for sure Manny will earn a lot because this is just a way for them to create it, a big business for them knowing that Manny still have a lot of supporters around the world. I will also put my money on the sure side.

Think of it in this way: Pacquiao who is aged at 40, managed to win over Thurman who is around 30 years old. Pacquaio is slowly aging but managed to take over a prime Thurman despite the age gap and difference. What separates the two fighters are the talent, skill, patience, and stamina that made the difference on the fight.

With regard to Errol Spence vs Pacquiao, I think that Pacquaio still has the guns to fight but it would be very dangerous to his health if he continues to fight. The damage will be felt long-term once he retires. Not to mention, he needs to fulfill his job as a Senate in the Philippines since another boxing career would hamper AGAIN his priorities.

Exactly, a far from the big pay check if Spence Jr will fight Pacquaio next, it's also the experience that they can gain fighter this veterans, Pacquaio and Mayweather. We have seen Canelo fight Floyd early when he is still climbing the ladder, he lost, but the experience he gained from Floyd was priceless. As we can see after that fight, Canelo improved and now is the new p4p fighter in this generation.

He looks good because he haven't had fights wherein he was really challenge.

But look at his fight against Porter, I would say that Porter really did good in some rounds and exposed Spence. It looks like Spence has some weaknesses as well, he is not comfortable fighting Porter in the inside and this is the fight that Spence was hit so many times based on compubox numbers.

But since he has been calling Manny in the media prior to the fight, I'm sure that fight will push through next year since there are no barriers as both are advised and managed by Al Haymon.

Spence bit really hit up for many times but that fight isnt really that easy for him yet porter bringing out some good fight.All fighters had weaknesses yet theres no perfect fighter on this world.Just like manny where his agressiveness do had negative effects and we have seen it on how other good fighter do neutralize that.

Take a look on their opponents. Thurman has been beating more elite boxers, while Spencer mostly fought against opponents, that previously fight only again their homeland boxers (means he fought agains almost identical boxing style).

Thurman and Spence should battle each other if ever the Spence -Pacquiao did not push thru, it's also going to be a mega-fight, they are both champions of that division, of course, Thurman is a former champion, Thurman deserves a second chance, he has a good fighting heart and his style is very much suited against Spence.

Pacquiao doesn't want to retire now, he is on a fantastic run. If he manages to defeat Errol Spence he will become the GOAT. We would be looking at a guy that has defeated top champions across 2 generations, no one has done this before. Even if he lost to Mayweather, he defeating Thurman and Spence would put him on the #1 in my book, 2# being Mayweather.

With Spence's caliber he deserves to get a 7 digit check already. That was rigged! They thought they could use that Australian clown to hype up upcoming matches because he defeated Pacman ( which is a very obvious fraudulent act) but right after that, karma struck him so bad after he got exposed by Crawford. I agree with you on that as he is one of the highest paid Athlete in the history.
He can always say no if he doesn't like his opponent because he always wants to justify what he gets, he is a type of fighter who think of the fans first before the possible money he will earn.

Thurman does not injured him but he admitted that Thurman was a good fighter in the ring, so we don't know if he still like the same caliber.

This will be a good fight soon just like what happened with Thurman when he decided to fight against Pacman. Spence Jr. is still undefeated and is very young compared to Pacman so he has all the chances to beat Pacman with his speed and boxing skills. I believe Crawford and Spence are going to duck each other heavily, they don't want to face the up and coming undefeated prospects. I think they believe they have higher chances at making an huge payday by doing a Pacquiao PVP selloff rather than going directly for the clash of both guys.

I don't know if you have read the legit article or not because some articles are making a hot topic that would interest the public but people are not really expecting the fight of Pacman vs Mayweather because they already know what would be the result. Spence for me is a better boxer that Thurman. Team Pacman chooses Thurman because he is inactive due to injury and his last fight with Lopez is not impressive. If not for that knockdown in the first round, the outcome of the fight could be different. That knockdown really take the confidence of Thurman out. As we can see in the second half of the fight, Pacman slowed down (age factor came in) and Thurman bounces back but unfortunately it's not enough though. Take a look at the compubox of that fight, Thurman edges Manny except for the jabs department. Thurman by now already had an idea on how to beat Manny if there is a rematch so is Spence.

Not really, according to the news his in stable condition right now. Lucky, he didnt get any broken bones and fractures. He only had facial lacerations maybe caused by the broken windshields or some sharp objects thrown towards him. I guess, thats the perks of being an athlete with your body trained so hard that you still managed to be in a stable condition after the car flipped over multiple times.
I hope it wont bother his mental health such as post traumatic stress after the accident that could potentially affect his focus and preparations for his upcoming fights.

There are no injuries, as reports say he is already in a stable condition, and as others have said, he is very lucky to not have any injuries at all despite the accident specially if you have seen it in the videos floating around.

Manny's power is not like the old days man. I mean look at his previous fights, he can knock down his opponent but he can't finish it via KO. Yes he still has the speed to control the tempo of the match but we can't expect KO for his remaining fights.

For me, all professional boxers don't risk too much, that when it comes to fighting, they end his boxing match within 1-4 rounds. The risk that I mean is they will fight until their stamina drain (full attack) that will end up either he loses in K.O or his opponent. Every boxer fights with different styles, strategies, techniques, etc. it's not all about the power punch you can do; it's all about that power punch that you can land to your enemy. Yes, power is important, but knowing how to execute your defensive and offensive movements is much essential.  :)

It's really a piece of sad news for the boxing community that Errol Spence Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao will not fight very soon due to a car crash of Errol Spence Jr. it's really a piece of alarming news that error Spence has involved on the previous Thursday, so this major dual will not happen soon, Since Spence has told to the media that he is willing to fight with anyone because he claimed that he is the best, he is the legend as well as hall Famer so he doesn't fear to fight with anyone, he also claimed that he is going to have a match against Manny Pacquiao in 2020, so there is a possibility to this event will happen at that time.

Too bad the fight is not going to happen soon and i feel sorry for any injuries sustained by Errol Spence and will hope for his speedy recovery. But if you ask me, i'd bet big on Pacquiao to win of course. Manny Pacquiao is too old for young Spence. The size difference is also a big factor because Spence can move well and box. Spence also has the power to knock Pacquiao out . Hmm, in my opinion he is not. I watched Spence Jr. vs Porter press conference before their main fight but nothing super intense happened. He is just chillin all throughout the press con, answer questions calmly and make trashtalking with Porter with modulated voice. So for me he is not boastful at all but I feel that Pacquiao will punish him anyways ;D.

If spence will be sentence, I am sure it would not make him spend in jail for a long time, because there's a lot of interested on spence that while he is making money, they make more money with him.

Pacquiao is already a boxing legend and the reason why new boxers want to have a match against him is they're just trying to reach his fame. As for me, it will be hard for new boxers like Spence to defeat Pacquiao because he has been through a lot and he has his own strategies and boxing techniques. I would still go for Pacman and I have no doubt about that.

Talking about experience then there no doubt that Pacquiao do really have the edge but all of those things wont be effective as you ages.

Massive calfs can help the athlete to have a good balance or the center of gravity as you have mentioned. Plus it is the main source of his speed and agility. He's mental alertness perfectly synchronized the way he moves. I somewhat agree that shorter fighters have slight edge when it comes to power or hurting their opponents because their punches are mostly going upwards and they have better views on bread baskets.

Smaller past prime fighters also have big chances of getting knocked out. When Tyson and Pacman do not have the same speed, reflexes and resistance they lose. This is going to be explosive fight and I think this is the second best fight behind Spence vs Pacquiao. So let's see how it goes, I think the winner here will have a date with Pacquiao mid next year.

I had spence winning against Garcia, and I like to see him fight Manny next but I can't wait so I think if Manny and Mayweather will finally agree on a rematch, we might see them early next year. It came from the interview before the Thurman vs Pacquiao fight. I still remember how Thurman mocked Pacquiao for doing his shadow boxing. He said that he is only fast and suddenly imitate the way he shadow box ;D. I can't help myself but to laugh because Thurman ate what all he said. He threw tons of trashtalk but in the end he lose. Ok, no complains about this fight though, Garcia is coming from a close decision lost to Porter and Spence beat Porter in his last fight. So Danny Garcia has a lot of stakes here and it's good to hear than WBC has ordered this fight. Although we wanted to see Pacquiao vs Spence next, I guess it could wait.

There is nothing we can do, the fight between spence and Garcia will happen but we can always expect that by next year there's a possibility of Pacman vs Spence as I have a feeling spence after this fight will still remain as undefeated.

For Errol Spence Jr., it is not looking good at the moment. Even then, he is lucky to be alive after being involved in such a horrific accident (reportedly under the influence of alcohol and without wearing a seat belt). If he was driving an ordinary car instead of his luxury vehicle (Ferrari 488 Spider), we'll be writing obituaries for him by now. His agents are saying that he is OK. But let's not forget the fact that he spent almost one full week at the intensive care unit. There are rumors circulating around which claims that Spence is trying to hide his injuries, so that his fight with Manny Pacquiao will go ahead as planned.

In that case then it's going to be very difficult for Spence to recover from that scar (both physical and mental). However, there's already a plan fight with Danny Garcia isn't it. If he performed very bad and lost then I don't see him fighting Manny Pacquiao after that.

What's funny is, even if these two ever manage to secure a fight, who would seriously think it's going to be as competitive as their previous fights? You're right, and we already know how Mayweather perform inside the ring due to their past fight, we've been waiting for that huge event but then its not the fight that we expected it to be. So there's no excitement at all, and I think Manny is not serious to fight him again if he will do an exhibition rather than a face to face fight.

Manny is active and fully healthy right now, he fought toe to toe against the champion and a younger fighter so Manny might have a good shot in this rematch, and although I didn't believe that much that he can beat Mayweather if they will fight the same style but one punch hitting Mayweather might make Mayweather slowed down, for sure after the fight, Manny are already thinking of the rematch and they have studied very well on how to beat Mayweather.

Boxing fans are pushing for this one as this is the only logical fight for Manny before he retires. Bob Arum once said that if the rematch between Floyd and Manny does not materialize then it is better for Manny to retire and for me Arum is right though maybe he has some motive saying that.

Don't know why Floyd don't agree to the rematch, this is very winnable for him and he will get the larger piece of the pie and they are also under the same promoter. He maybe waiting for them to turn 50 years old before agreeing to that rematch lol.

From what I've heard he has knocked down some offers to give way to this rematch. If 1-2 years there will be no rematch with Pacquiao and Mayweather, everyone should let them be at peace and don't hope that there will ever be a rematch.

I'm a fan of Manny but if this fight would push through i have my money on Mayweather. Manny is just exceptional, not every athlete can compete and win against a very young opponent but Manny prove he can that's why the fans loves him more. Manny is very far from his prime bro, he was just so amazing back then. The reckless, one-handed Manny of old could overwhelm anyone of his weight.

Now, he is a more cautious boxer which a good development to avoid another tragedy like that Marquez lucky punch.

That makes him special, he knows how to adjust, he is still aggressive but not as aggressive as when he was still young.
Despite that, its still entertaining to watch him fight especially if his opponent is ready to fight toe to toe, and he should choose a fighter who is willing and I believe Spence is willing as he showed he can fight a street fight by defeating Shawn Porter.

It's because Manny Pacquio is a gifted boxer, plus he also trains very hard that's why he can still compete at this level even at his age. I remember one interview of Vince Carter on how his longevity in basketball, his reply that he really take care of his body.

I agree that he is not already in his prime, I just said he looks like he is on his prime because he defeated Thurman and even knock him down.
Thurman was undefeated  and was never knock down once in his career, so that punch that hit him has a lot of power that only a person which is known as heavy puncher can do that, Manny looks younger when they fought, that's why I see, but that's just one fight though.

His discipline on this sport is really commendable. If he doesn't have that, I don't know where he is now. Prime Pacquiao has no problem with tall opponents. Take Margarito as an example. But, right now with Pacquiao's age he will be having a hard time winning any opponents on their prime, yet he still have a slight edge over the younger generation boxer today. Experience wise.

I don't think Pacquiao can knock down Spence since he saw Thurman under estimating him and went down to the canvass.

Thurman was a tough opponent, he is a great champion with real skills in boxing, but he was knock down by Pacquiao, so I don't see any reason Spence will not be knock down if he will be hit by Manny's hard punch, maybe if he will change his style from being aggressive to runner, then Pacquiao  would surely not gonna knock him out.

I know Thurman is a tough opponent, his skills in boxing are matched with Spence. I personally even doubt Thurman is a much tougher opponent than Spence. What I meant with my statement is that, Spence is already aware that Pacquiao is not washed yet , and can knock down any opponents when giving opportunity. So, Spence will be more careful than Thurman while fighting Pacquiao.

Spence team are surely studying the recent moves of Manny and they are aware that there is no room for mistake if you are fighting Manny.
I have a little strategy which I want to share,...

For spence to be able to beat Manny, he should not be aggressive in the first 6 rounds of the fight since that's where Manny is very effective, he should keep the game longer and he will just be aggressive once Manny will be gas out.

I saw that weakness on Thurman fight, Manny almost lose since he was hit more in the 2nd half of the match.

Spence is like 3 inches taller than Manny and he also has the power to knock people out. Spence is also the younger fighter. Manny is not good defensively, his defense is his offense. You cannot allow Manny to set-up his combinations unless you are a defensive genius like Floyd Mayweather Jr. or a counter-puncher specialist like Juan Manuel Marquez. Erik Morales was the bigger guy and was aggressive and Manny was having a hard time fighting on back pedal. Morales gassed in the last rounds as he was having weight problems at super-featherweight but was able to beat Manny convincingly. The rematches were different stories though as Morales continued to grow bigger and Manny's camp never allowed him to a catchweight fight. I just think Spence can do what Morales did especially to an old version of Manny.   

I'm sorry to say that but I don't think this fight will ever happen. Manny can't take the risk to get hurted or even to lose a fight before his match against Mayweather. And after it he won't have any interest to fight against someone else, he will end his career.

Why not if he wanted to fight. As far as I remember the CEO of Mayweather announced that they will not fight against Pacquiao and also he wanted to resign on his boxing career. I don't know if that is an excuse or whatever might be he afraid to fight Manny Pacquaio. Word boxing champion Manny Pacquiao is getting old probably 2-3 years he will resign too from his Boxing career and probably he might focus on being a senator of his country and also have time to his PACTOKEN. :D

I'm sure the team of Pacman know that too and they will make an adjustment about it. I know Pacman is a versatile fighter, he can change quickly his pace once he knows his weakness. The injury was just an excuse, he could have announce it prior to the match, it was just putting bettors into the hole expecting Manny could win but he can't due to his shoulder injury. Next time, it's wise not to bet on this two if they will fight, just enjoy as we don't know who will win and what excuses they going to throw after the fight.

Not really exciting to see Manny and Mayweather on the ring again. Not Mayweather could attract more boxing fans but rather see the disappointment, it only Manny makes more excitements. If wherein with the camp of Manny, better to decline to this offer cause it is something a business can't be done again and there is a huge possibility that Mayweather would still win (pretty obvious), not just because of Manny's injury but also Mayweather is clever enough.

Well, as far as I know it is not an excuse since he left his coach after that—that means he's like being played by the promoter and his coach. How come someone who's always going to church would lie to the public because he lost since he's too weak? That doesn't make sense. And AFAIK a lot of bettors was disappointed with the final result not because Pacman did not do anything to win but with the judges favouring on Mayweather's side.

Maybe Mayweather is a better fighter than Pacquiao but it still is a contested debate until now and it depends on whom you will asked about it.

I remember people airing their disappoint on social media after their first fight and most spectators aren't contented on Mayweather's boxing since they were expecting a very good and entertaining slugfest between the two boxers but it never happened, thanks to Mayweathers strategy.

Style makes a fight, that's a saying associated in boxing and whether we like it or not, Manny will be having a hard time against Floyd "Pretty Boy" Mayweather. Maybe early next year we will see negotiations on the table as to who will Manny face early next year as it seems that the timetable for him to fight in 2020 has been set already. As per article, Roach says he prefer Danny Garcia, if Spence is not yet available. Danny Garcia is also dangerous and still at his prime, so if ever Manny settles with Danny, I'm OK with that because I know that it will also be exciting as the Thurman fights. And Danny pop's is good at selling fights as well because Angel Garcia is a thrash talker.

Many boxers think they are enough to fight Manny Pacquiao because they already gain popularity and the rank that to fight the one who is still conquering the world of boxing. I think Errol Spence Jr. needs more time for training and also much experience before the fight to the king of boxing. Base on the previous matches of Pacquiao, many boxers want to fight him, but still, no one can win against him. Even Mayweather uses different tactics to win against him, but because of the decision of the judge, Manny lose the match. Still, those are not enough for taking down Manny.

That's not the only reason, actually they are looking for big payday and a possible chance to beat the legend.

This is a double edged sword we got here. We dont see picture of his current condition so we dont know if he is fit to fight or not. For the camp of Manny its a guessing game, all they can do is prepare fore a fight on March 2020 for Spence but they should not take it for granted.

Either Danny Garcia, Crawford, and Spence will test the skill, speed, and power amidst old age in Manny. I want to see any of them take the gloves against the old legend actually. Let's take it easy. I know that Manny is willing to fight whoever served to him unlike other players who are very choosy (I'm not saying a boxer like Floyd lmao). Probably, this would be it. Either of the Garcia's will be the future opponent for Manny next year.

This may not be what the fight fans want to see but this is the fight people who cares for Manny wanted to see.

Fans has no choice but to accept it, but I would rather see him fight Danny Garcia as I think he is the better fighter compared to Mikey Garcia.

They may not be afraid but they are carefully choosing their next opponent. Manny is not like those younger fighters anymore who are very hungry, who even look for the best fighters to fight against. Manny has nothing to prove, he doesn't have to call out other fighters or name them in order to be given a shot. At this particular age and with all those achievements, Manny deserves to choose the safest opponent that would still give the audience the best match and their ticket's worth. That's completely understandable.

But Spence is too slow for Manny, he did not experienced yet how powerful the punch of a boxing legend even if he is old his power and body still in very good shape no doubt, no one can correctly predict how this fight will end until we can see how Spence will response once in the ring.

The fight with Errol Spence will not happen next year to whoever his opponent is. I think maybe a year after that.

Full recovery will take a year. The preparation for every fight should be a minimum of 5 to 6 months. And after he recovers, he will surely not allowed to do his usual routine in the gym.

Manny Pacquaio's expected comeback to ring is 2Q 2020 or specifically, by April or May.

We should now remove Errol Spence now on the list as his possible next match.

He is a legend, what do you expect, plus he beat a younger and undefeated champion in his last fight.

I think its gonna be a hell of a traning just to beat any of those for Manny. Spence is 11 years younger while Pacquiao is already 40years old. I think age does matter when it comes to fire power of the boxer. I'm not saying, Pacman has no chance but with a taller opponent he can be at disadvantage. But the kid statement on some interview that he also interested to fight Manny and give him a retirement check. Come on, this is usually the dialogue of most boxers before fighting Manny but ended up losing to him.
