This is the average cost for FedEx express overnight anywhere in the USA . You are welcome to pick up from our offices locally.

As we increase our order volume, we will be able to get that cost down. Please keep in mind this is a full kit, which includes all the miners cables , power supplies , USB hub, etc

Why not add, say, USPS Priority 2-day Insured? I'd rather pay $180 less for shipping and wait one extra day.

In our original post, we mentioned that we were still updating our website. There are a number of updates we are making today (products, etc), on of those is our toll free number. We had to wait until it was released from LOC. Sorry for the confusion, it will be posted here and on our website.

Thanks for the answer, trying to place an order for 10-pack, and getting timeout from payment processing site (using credit card).  Don't want to get the card charged twice, is it better to wait or place order over the phone?  Can you check status of the order?  There was no email confirmation yet, I got confirmation of account creation.

I can also confirm, that my order I placed only hours ago, is now hashing on the pool I designated. OP has been very responsive to all my questions, even though I'm sure they are crazy-busy over there.

$5 per month for hosting 10 miners is an awesome deal, considering electricity alone would cost that in most places.

I look forward to taking delivery of my miners sometime in the future.  I decided to take advantage of the ease of having them hosted and mining right away. (Judging by the photos on the website, http://gawminers.com, the miners looked all ready to mine.  There was no delay in getting my hashes onto my pool.)

GAW appears to be a company that runs different communication services, from ISP, to telecom, to other IT solutions.

Bare with them them as they gear up their service; I look forward to controlling my hosted miner the online portal.  GAW staff have already proved to be highly professional and knowledgeable in my short dealings with them thus far.

USPS Priority Mail, UPS or FedEx ground ... marathon runner relay ... anything else works!

$100 to ship 5 little boxes is kinda on the deep end when I don't need them tomorrow, the following day or so would work just great.

Spoke with the CEO today and liked his responsiveness and business-like manner.  I also looked up some background info and saw that they have definite experience in running a legitimate business and doing it well...GAW apparantly stands for a wireless/ISP provider that the CEO created.  See their profiles on their website. 

Needless to say, I purchased 1 10X gridseed package with hosting around 6:30 pm and was up and running in 3 hours and that is despite the large amount of orders that they likely took today.

So far, I am a pleased customer and looking forward to doing business with them.

I just got off the phone with Joe, and now feel extremely comfortable with GAW Miners. And no, for those wondering, I was not offered a miner for this endorsement.

The mistake I made was that I found an obit of Joe's cousin by the same name, but with a different middle name.

During the course of the conversation, I knew by Joe's demeanor that this is a straight-up endeavor. Joe offered a myriad of numbers I could call to prove his case, all of which I decline for the taking because I no longer needed proof of whether or not GAW Miners is viable, of which they are.

I now offer up my apology to GAW Miners for this misunderstanding, of which could have been a disaster, but they were right on top of it to nip this in the bud, unlike other Bitcoin miner suppliers we're all to similar with.

If I were a miner, I, too, would now order from them, having been rest assured that they're viable.

Any chances of giving me a shipping break? I want to order 40 Gridseeds, and the shipping is coming to $800 for overnight shipping, which is pure insanity. Especially considering that I am 2 states away from you :P

The shipping cost really adds up, any chance of offering different shipping options, because it seems what is be charged far exceeds the actual cost to ship and it brings the actual cost of each unit well over $200...

You guys should offer some sort of combined shipping. I ordered just one unit just to try it out and see how reliable you guys are. I like what I see, but those shipping prices once someone starts ordering in bulk is killer. Overall though, I think $189+$20 is still much cheaper than other sellers.

I ordered two units to check you out. As others have pointed out, the shipping seems to be a bit on the high side for multiple units. I could see maybe $20 overnight shipping for 1 unit, but after that I think you could still ship effectively for say an additional $5 per unit, i.e. 10 miners = $20 + $45 (9 additional) $65.

We sold through all our USA inventory, and have moved to our overseas warehouse. We have a 1-2 day turn around time on our orders form overseas and they are also sent overnight express.

In other words, regardless of where we ship from, they arrive about the same time to your door. One of the things thats make us unique is the ability to pull inventory from multiple warehouses with a 24 hour turn around time. Thats why we can guarantee it will be at your door in less then 5 business days or we pay you for your lost mining time.

We sold about 300-400 pieces yesterday. Even at an increased rate, we still have plenty of inventory :)

Wait, so which is it is it overnight delivery or 5-day delivery? I paid $40 for two units shipping thinking it was overnight, meaning I will receive my units tomorrow.

so for the people that just want to buy 1 or 2 miners to start with,can we use are own usb hubs?, it dosent have to be the one in the 10x miner package?

Yeah, that should be fine. Just plug it right into one of your USB ports on your computer, and you should be good to go. The purpose of a powered USB hub is to both add more ports to the connected computer, and power the units connected to the hub.

For example:
The USB Block Erupters from ASICMiner are powered via USB. They don't have an alternative DC power source like the Gridseed does. Daisy chaining multiple unpowered USB hubs will add more USB ports to your computer, but your computer can still only supply a low amount of power for all the ports on the USB hub. Powered USB hubs fix this issue. (i.e. Plugging in multiple, and daisy chainning, surge protectors and extension cords to one outlet in your house doesn't supply more power. It only allows more things to be plugged in. Everything would still be running from the one circuit breaker on your house's electrical box.)

Gridseed uses USB for the purpose of data between the unit and computer, and gets it's power from an adapter/PSU. ASICMiner Block Erupters use USB for both the data and the power (in the similar manner you'd sync and charge an iPod at the same time).

We just wanted to clear up some concerns about the shipping. We aim to ship the same or the next business day.

Many companies take weeks to prepare shipments, then they overnight the unit. We take 24-48 hours to prepare, then you have the unit the next day. Given the surge in orders we have received, we are still getting orders out the same or next day.

As we continue to staff up, we will be able to get orders out the same day, however, this will take a little bit of time. There are no (or few) mining hardware competitors that ship same day.

The overnight shipping is to ensure it gets to you in under the five day window we promise. Again, we are working to reduce this cost, and will credit all existing orders if/when we do.

As you consider the numbers, please consider the numbers as a whole. We take credit cards and PayPal; almost no competitor in this space does. That's an additional cost we are absorbing. We also offer 24/7 technical support that almost no competitor in this space does. In addition, we still strive to get your miner out the same day, if not, the next.  And, our pricing is still less than most reputable competitors.

Thanks for the response but I will point out that Zoomhash, which I have ordered from a few times already ships out the same day from California. They charge $19.99 for overnight shipping for 2 units and scale up at a small amount for each additional unit. I had 4 units recently overnighted for ~$36, and when I say overnighted I mean I ordered Wednesday and I had the miners in my hand mining coins on Thursday. I have also ordered units using their standard shipping which cost $5 for two units and have had the miners within 3 days. Using either option, I have had tracking numbers in my email the same evening as I placed the order.

Not trying to beat you up, as your prices are pretty reasonable, but do not say that there are no competitors offering same day shipping when in fact there is at least one I have ordered from, and others who list it. Most people, at least in the US, when they see and pay for overnight shipping expect it to be literally overnight, or at least the next business day in case of weekends. Hiding behind the "we process within 24-48 hours but then use a overnight shipping" is a bit misleading IMO.

I know if New Egg, Amazon, etc. ran their business like this they would have plenty of pissed off customers. Who wants to pay a premium shipping charge to have to wait 3-4 days to get the product in-hand?

Order #548 needs to be deleted, i tried paying with paypal to see if my bank would give me an over draft,payment failed so il order again when i have the funds in my bank which wont be long

Paying $200 to have a small 10lb box shipped "overnight" domestically is overpriced... to pay that and have your package show up 5 days later is just silly.

im pretty sure they just guarantee the units in your hands in 5 days. in other words they will never be out of stock... we see other suppliers go in and out of stock pretty consistently. But i do agree that shipping is significantly more. Im waiting to place my order for that reason

you call that "scale up at a small amount for each additional unit." when they are literally $30-$50 more per unit....I think your math is off...or you dont care about paying more for the unit, and have it next day...if thats the case ..I'm sure the GAW guys can mark up the unit for you and send it to you overnight. :)

Just wanted to thank support guys @ GAW Miners, had issues with some miners in hosted ten-pack not working properly, got it completely resolved within hours, got called back to assure that the issue was resolved and they are even compensating lost hashing power.  That's what I call top-notch customer service, kudos!

Definitely going to order more very soon.

As for Zoomhash, they are probably falling behind, despite still claiming that they ship same day from LA warehouse.  I ordered ten-pack on 16th, it was shipped on 18th (guess St.Paddy interfered  ;D) and the order is being shipped by FedEx from China (according to tracking they provided), hoping to get the package soon but I am somewhat disappointed.

And talking about others...  Don't get me started about that @$$ Matt from MinerSource, hope he goes out of business and gets back to his hookah.

I guess you feel that a 3am Skype call to china to "try" and speak with someone over there in a 1 man operation is better than dealing local with someone in the US with 24x7 support with a team of experienced employees?  good luck with that :) I've been on those 3am calls , and half the time they could give 2 sh**s about you or when they promise to deliver.  But hey, china inst going anywhere if you're not happy :)

It seems they recently raised the price, perhaps due to good business? Who knows, I am only a customer and not affiliated with them. I have already said GAW has a good price, what you failed to look at is when you place your order in your cart at ZH and calculate shipping it isn't some obscene amount as in $20 per unit.

My beef is with the in-stock is actually now in China and overnight shipping actually being 3-5 days. You would be better off just saying $209.99 each, shipping included, guaranteed delivery within 5 days. That is clear, concise, factual, and avoids the misleading terms and confusion. Something I would think a company looking to be better than the competition would appreciate.

No, that is exactly why I placed an order with GAW. Their price is good as you pointed out. They are also based in the US, supposedly, which is another reason I ordered. Now I find out that the in-stock actually means in China. I also find out my $20 per unit overnight shipping is actually 3-5 days, from China, assuming no Customs delays, etc.

I have also noticed a few contradictions between the OP and follow-up posts. Why is it then, that for me a GAW customer, I am being attacked for simply bringing up these questions and concerns. I simply offered the comparison to ZH to point out the "no other company ships same day" claim was also misleading. I obviously hold no allegiance to them if I am ordering now from GAW. Most companies that are trying to succeed and be up-front with their customers should welcome such comments and criticisms so they can improve, not lash out and attack their would be customers who dare ask a question or point out an inconsistency.

I have to agree that this whole overnight/5-days/$20 shipping is too confusing. I get that you wanted to get at the $190 pricing point and have a single shipping fee for any destination, but that's not how most online stores work and it will result in confused and angry customers. Just make it $199 and you'll still have the best price among reputable Gridseed sellers, and with free shipping. You might make less on single orders, but I'm sure most buyers will order more than one anyway.

Ditto. I had a small issue with my hosted miner (that was already hashing a mere hour after placing my order!), so I contacted support@gawminers.com, as directed in their hosting service welcome email.  I got a reply and a professional resolution, all within a few hours.

I'm looking forward to taking deliver of my hosted miners in the near future. They have already said they will try to reduce shipping costs, and compensate anyone already paying for shipping if they do.

I want to take some time to address the points that have been raised. I will do the best I can to address them all.

Credit card fees: We have not charged a single customer and have made the decision to charge the same amount no matter how a customer pays.

Shipping Location: We were blown away with the response from our launch day. We sold every piece of stock in our USA warehouse; even the back up stock we had! As a contingency plan, we created a partnership to have hardware shipped from our Chinese warehouse the same day. We had to use that plan as a result of the volume we got. Once our USA supplies refill, we will be shipping from the USA again (this week). In either case, you will get your hardware at the same time.

Shipping Cost: We will have an announcement on this soon. You will be pleased.

Same Day shipping: Naturally, we would love to be able to compare to a company like Amazon, we are not quite there yet :).  Even with 400% more orders than we anticipated, we got most orders out the same day, and most the next (today). But you're right, the bar for us should be high and we will meet and exceed expectations.

Unless I'm missing something obvious, how is that different from the regular $20 shipping fee, which - albeit universally disliked here - applies to purchased miners?

Hello, what kind of shipping do you provide to Canada and through whar carrier?
I try to avoid getting anything sent from out of contry through anyone who does not make a switch over to canada post. If at all I can help it I prefer USPS as UPS, DHL, ect all charge retarded ridiculous brokerage fees.

Well you did come through and issue me a tracking number the same day I ordered, so kudos for that.

However, I am a bit concerned in the following:

Priority Mail 3-Day, really? Now this is outright misrepresentation when over and over you have claimed overnight delivery.

At $20 a unit I think you could ship with a real overnight services such as Fed-Ex or UPS. Also the $50 insurance? Hardly enough to refund my shipping costs if it gets damaged.

If the order is shipped from overseas (Overnight) it will most likely come via DHL which should suffice for you. If it is shipping from our U.S. location, it will go out via FedEx.

I have a question for the community, I would like your feedback. We are toying around with an idea and want to see what you think.

What if we increased our 10 pack pricing by $200. The trade off would be that we would then offer free priority shipping........and.......we would also host the miner for free, and as long as you want! You would never pay for hosting, bandwidth, and electric.

If you ever want to take it out of our hosting, we would just ship it to you free.

Also, you could sell your miner to another. You would be able to change the ownership of the account. Once the new owner takes over, he would get the same free hosting (increases your resale value), and he can also have the unit shipped to him when he is ready.

What do you guys think? Would this be something that would be kind of neat? Or a game changer?

Naturally if we did this, we would offer it for all our future products too.

Yes to free hosting and shipping for price increase. Any time you add these "free" perks it makes it more attractive.

With the price increase, it would put you on par with other sellers; however, you are offering free hosting. (Maybe add an Express shipping option. It will never be fast enough for some people though. Overnight shipping =/= overnight delivery.  A 5 day guarantee is still really good. Processing an order may take a day, shipping may take a day, and even USPS Express Mail can't guarantee 1 day delivery everywhere.)

And I can vouch that GAW will compensate anyone when they say they will, should they continue to offer such a guarantee.

It sounds like a no-brainer, especially if you can guarantee hash rate (or offer guaranteed hash rate as a paid option, i.e. replacing bad behaving modules in the miner's package at your expense.)  Having said that, how do you handle dead modules in the hosted option now?  Technically you are not leasing them, but selling, and selling physical modules not hash power.

Well, I'm not sure if I can say anything better about this company, with it's forward thinking, and positive business models, but I'm sure I will find something good to say anyway :)

Who else has ever even offered an option for something like this in the history of this forum, or any seller or reseller? none that I have seen, please correct me if I'm wrong.

It seems to me that most of the people I have dealt with selling gear on here are straight out looking out to make profit as their number one goal, at the sacrifice of good support, communication and reliability.

All I can say (for now) is that GAW is on the ball, with super fast communications via email replies and phone calls, and will no doubt in my opinion be the leader in the industry from this day forward for their excellent customer service, offering positive solutions to any issues users may have had with their miners, always going above and beyond.

I guess you would expect that from a 'Real' established business, unlike the fly by night one man operations who I have had the displeasure of dealing with.

Spring has sprung, and it looks like there is a new seed to contend with :)

despite being slammed with orders and having a few hiccups along the way..i feel confident these guys are doing their best to get hardware in customers hands. i had an issue w/my order status not updating on the website...order placed tuesday...still processing...no tracking...

DHL charge me brokerage fees, so I would have to pass on that as the value just dropped by about $20, Last single gridseed i got through DHL those bastards charged me a $19.75 brokerage fee at my front door. If it was coming from the US to Canada i would prefer USPS priority express or something like that as i know with USPS it just gets handed over to Canada Post and I do not get charged retarded scam brokerage fees

Cool, going forward most orders will start going out USPS Priority or overnight (depending on shipping option). We have a very very large ordering coming in which will drive down some of our cost and allow for same day shipping. Thanks for bearing with us and your support.

USPS would be great, and overnight is great but not overly critical to me I think I could manage to "keep my panties on" for two or three  days after Ive placed an order

Wow, what a crazy week!  Yes, there have been a few kinks that we did not plan for, but I hope we have shown that even when we had those challenges, we step up. (note: ping me directly if you have any outstanding issues I can address: josh@gaw.com)

We have learned a lot this week, including that we need a better shopping cart to keep customers informed, more staff (which we are adding), and loads more inventory (on the way), but we are working feverishly to make these adjustments.

You increased the none hosted 10 pack to 1999.95 and yet still add $200 for 5 delivery guarantee delivery. Wasn't the reason you gave for price increase to offer free shipping? I am confused.

Yet the single unit price is still 189.95. So it's cheaper to just buy a single unit than 20 units? Or maybe just waste another 19 keystrokes increasing the quantity of the single unit model (to 20) for a $10 per keystroke savings. It definitely doesn't have to be this complicated.

The ten pack is more then just miners. It includes all the hardware and cables to begin mining. This is why there is a small difference in cost.

As previously mentioned, we are working on getting the cost down and will have some news about that soon. The changes will retroact to existing customers.

I'd like to add my compliments here. I ordered a single miner and in spite of a Coinbase issue, the miner arrived the next day and is working great. Their customer support email system is state of the art and their communication is excellent. If this is how they operate when they are slammed with new orders, I have no doubt this company will end up being one of the few who are long-lasting in this new industry.

I couldn't agree with that statement more.

There are too many of us who have been taken advantage of by greedy sellers just looking out to make profits and have no intention on providing any kind of support for their Paying customers, or have any system in place even close to what GAW has going on.

Don't even get me started on the whole pre-order scam thing either.

I wouldn't even consider going with anyone else at this point for future purchases, solely based on the last few days they have been online and supporting customers while they were "slammed" with orders.

I am extremely happy with my purchase from GAW and the support I have received.

I’m a very new poster here but I’ve been GPU mining for a while. I’ve been hesitant to take the plunge with ASIC hardware because none of the resellers I’ve seen floating around felt legit. I decided to take a chance with these guys and I’ve been super pleased with the way they’ve handled everything.

Even though they are just starting up and seem to be flooded with business/orders (good problems to have), they’ve taken care of all my issues quickly. I received my 10x kit today.  I had some questions re: the power unit so I called in and got someone on the phone immediately. Due to a misunderstanding, I managed to fry a component. After a few minutes on the phone they offered to send me a replacement at no charge. This is the type of service that makes a small new vendor stand out in a crowd.

I can’t recommend them enough…..again, I know I’m new and I’m sure some people will be skeptical about taking advice from someone they don’t’ know…but try ordering from them and I’m sure you’ll be pleased/impressed as well.

In for two.  This is the best price around and with free ground shipping the total cost can't be beat.  Bought one from one of the other guys last week and paid a lot more.  I'll let everyone know how it goes when I've received them.

Also for dealing with China at 3am is complete bull. I deal with clients in Asia for my job and personal business and China's business hours are typically 4pm-12Pam PST .

Even the Gridseed units themselves don't preform 100% of the time. In fact, we continue to improve the hardware of our customers by supplementing under-performing hardware with our own cluster. This is to insure an even higher level of reliability than a customer may have on their own.

Also, this entire service is also free of charge.

It's not perfect yet, and there will occasionally be issues as we work through uncharted territory and innovate in places no one has.

It sounds like the logical choice for you would be to just buy the miners and have them shipped to you. Then you could host them anyway you want, ensure there is no downtime, even volt-mod them if you like... full control. Now you insist that GAW and/or its customers have to prove something to you even though the "blip" seems to have been an issue with wafflepool reported by many users, not just GAW customers. I'm having a hard time to imagine the kind of "proof" that would satisfy you, what would it have to be?

Why does it only include 4 usb and power cables, doesn't it need one for each of the 43 miners?  Also is one server enough to manage all 43 miners, I for whatever reason thought they maxxed out at 10 units each.

I asked myself the same thing. I've been GPU mining for awhile and wanted to dip my toes in ASIC, but all the sellers on here seemed really fly by night until i noticed this posting (and the price caught my eye too). I started google-fu'ing these guys and managed to locate www.gawlabs.com which appears to be a sister company. When i ordered; their 800 number wasn't up and going, but i reached out to GAWlabs...asked for some of the guys mentioned on GAWminers about us page and reached Joe Mordica (IIRC). I spoke with him via phone and placed my order a few hours later.

I rec'd my order a few days later despite some serious issues along the way (thanks customs).....well within the promised 5 days.

a few reasons i felt good about ordering w/them.

1. they accept paypal/credit cards. i knew i could do a charge back and get my money back if needed.
2. their address checks out. googlemaps shows an office park of some sort...not some abandoned lot.
3. when i called, i got a live person who was knowledgeable, spoke fluent english, and took the time to listen to my concerns about ordering and answer my questions re: their service/hardware/etc.
4. their pricing was/is great compared to other group buys out there
