Title: Why do some people stop their crypto project?
Post by: Sulman326 on August 09, 2020, 07:28:47 PM
In a short while that I have been in cryptocurrency I have seen so many crypto project and fantastic budget and planned you see that some of them still left the project unfinished some even do stop the crypto project without any pre_information about the sudden change of plans concerning the particular project so what do you think about the crypto project that have been suspended half way , what do you think that should be done for this kind of the attitude of crypto developer's concerning crypto project abandoned project.

Developers have reasons to suspend projects that they have run for reasons of the market situation and the lack of interest from investors in new projects, failure to achieve the soft caps they are targeting can temporarily stop the project until the developers get the funds they are targeting to develop projects with minimal funds.

Most of these projects that ICO and leave half way are scams, there are a lot of working dead projects in the space now that they developers have taken people's money and left. Some of these developers take time out and come up with another idea and repeat the same thing.

Basically the causes there are many cryptocurrencies projects has been stoped by the developer of team is the mindset of team, they don't know anything about the basic knowledge how to build businesses, they don't know anything about the structures of businesses, so even they have alot of money they don't know what must be done with their money. I have seen a project of cryptocurrencies even they don't get the softcap but the development of project is still running until today. So it is not about the cryptocurrencies or about the money more than it, it is just about how to build businesses especially related with cryptocurrencies space.

Some developers wanted money but never going to build a working system, some were disappointed as they couldn't raise enough money, so they discontinue the project, while some just don't have innovative ideas, they had to shutdown. There are cases of strict compliance to law of their nation, this can force them to abandon the project.

If they failed?

Any reason to continue the project? Well, if the project not collecting some money from the Crowdfunding was alright. But sometimes feel sad when they already collecting money and abandoned the project, when investor got shit token and they got the money.

Most of the set objectives that is too bogus. They want to achieve something that will take years to achieve in just few months with the hope of getting money in form of contribution from the people but when they face the real work, they will realize that they have long way to go which might means they will need more funds. It become very difficult to tell the community because they wanna keep the vibe. At the long run, the project become inactive

I think crypto currency projects are halted most times due to lack of funds to start up, or perhaps after a failed Crowdfunding attempt that leaves the team with no funds to continue product development. Either ways, i believe projects stops due to incompetence of developers but funds get blamed

The reasons may differ from a cryptocurrency project to another but the main issues that causes these issues are :
The budget: Developers doesn't have enough funds to develop the project more and they can't really put some serious efforts or the person who's paying the devs isn't affording the funds to build the whole project which mainly will cause the "stop of the crypto project".
Legal issues: Some projects may have some legal issues whether in the ICO part of in the development because the world is so wide and law changes from a land to another which might cause misleading, issues and troubles.
Troubles inside the team: Mainly, some peoples might be working around the clock to save the project and help it grow and some other parts are not serious at all.
These are some of the reasons i think that might effect the projects.

Most of the failures came from Blockchain social and project market coordination issues. This has really affected thousands of cryptocurrency projects in my opinion. Also, unserious project team can lead to failure of cryptocurrency projects, some of the projects ongoing today collapsed because of the team behind the projects. Financial constraints can also get a potential cryptocurrency projects down it knees, some good projects had experienced this overtime from 2017 till date.

The community is getting large, influences and connection is beginning to play on the success of most projects. It will be difficult in this new era of crypto startup to know nobody and think you can make a headway. Searching for investors, polishing your project idea, partnering and exchange listing are mostly due to influences. Most of the new projects are sponsored and supported by existing projects, you can do your research on that, which could play a part for a while on successful startups.

Crypto projects are like any other. Sometimes a builder starts a house and never finishes. I'm sure you can find many such buildings in your area.

People get into sudden hurdles or fall out with their partners and the project becomes postponed forever.

It's not all that bad. Maybe it's better if a project dies before being able to scam anyone or become another dumped shitcoin.

There are not a specific reason i guess. Some projects left because of project's internal problem, lack of idea, not experience team management, lack of future plan etc. Even some projects are start for raised money and after that they left their project. I saw some project stop their work because of legality also so there will be many causes for that. Only those projects are survive in crypto currency which are legit.

I believe the proof is clear enough for everyone to understand, before bringing about the idea of building a project, the team is assumed to have carried out an in-depth research about everything and anticipated costs now if there is a change in plan, they work around it and find a solution. So now, if a project gets abandoned for whatever reason which is not justifiable then know the project is scam. Thus, many of the projects which stopped halfway are all scams and that's one of the reason investing and/or holding new altcoins seems to be very risky.

Nothing happens into a kind of unrealistic imagination. Some developers deliver such huge and beautiful promises just to catch attention from the investors but that is not what investors had looking for, it was the potentiality of the project. But the problem is, investors never find it and so have to leave and ignored them.

Many projects suffered such losses and failures because they are not true with their roadmap and promise. They'll never have that winning goal and sustainable marketing strategy, only they have with their mind is to fool people and generate money from them, then leave. This what exactly happens this time and so much disappointed how these people still exist.

There are several reasons why developers and teams have laid off their crypto projects. The possibilities are:
1. They are scammers (this is the worst)
2. They have no strong intention of making the project a success.
3. They are under-funded or have no enough funds to continue the project
4. They did not reach the minimum total they should have sold
5. They just want to make a project but they don't develop it well, so their project stalled
6. They know their project is likely to fail for some reason so it's better to back off at the beginning rather than continue and just make a loss
7. they just want to raise money regardless of the fate of their investors

Most of crypto projects don't have any sense and behind the scenes they want to scam people. They think they still living in 2017 but now everything is changed. People become more aware about crypto scam so now its not easy to scam people. So only scam project stop. Good project still working well.

I wouldn't say they abandoned their project, it's just with no budget whatsoever, they can't really proceed. And obviously, their management has failed, maybe the project didn't offer anything to the market that's why it didn't attract investors.

It's not the nature, not just crypto though, there's a lot of projects that failed and being left out. However, I think the people behind a abandoned project will reinvent themselves and have learn their lessons. And maybe this time they will be successful.

First, I don't think there are problems with developers here. Why? If the developers are the problem here, project owners or founders can hire some developers to continue the project or the development.
If they are not intended to scam in the first place or just collect money from their investor, then for sure the project will be a success. There will be a solution always.

Scammers who are trying to stay around mostly the one who stop the project after collecting
money from poor investors who fall from their schemes.
They stop right after getting the money, some still provides shit tokens but never show back
to list the coin in any available exchange.
Developers stop if the interest is just to scam peoples money, but to those who are serious
even it will happen slowly but it will continue the progress.

If it is not about the lack of fund raised that is why the project tend to fail, then the team cease to function. Or  the project's product/platform can be hard to implement and produce. There are so many reasons actually. But most of them were just aiming for the funds and then run and scam the investors making the project to be left behind and abandoned.

That is why, it is always best to look for the project's feasible actions, being transparent with all their actions to know whether the project is built with sincerity or not.

There are plenty of factors why this happened. For a legit project, I could say that they dont have some funds or not enough to continue. Or also their product is not yet ready and they are taking their time to finish it. What more we can see possible reason are those but some have stop due to lack of demand and supporters. Sometime a project with a lot of community can survive possible closure.

Ah, thats very easy to understand why!

1. Scammers
2. Illogical Roadmaps
3. Shitty management team
4. Sometimes we have seen bounty managers running away with whole token budget (LOLZ)
5. People not holding the coins and diluting the market cap.
6. No generation of further funds to develop the project.

On contrary it's Scam projects which always holds the first position.

Stay Safe!

A lot of reason, already get money from investors, internal problems, but i think mostly because they think listed in 1 market is already enough and then they just go with investor's money. And this is not a common secret anymore, investors know what actually owner of the projext aim and that is why they not want to lose chance to take profit immediately when it listed in market.

Some people start a project with thinking that is easy, but when things require time and effort some of them can't put much effort on it and the project does because of it.
Actually if they have an active and professional team, then I think they will be able to build a network with various companies or other projects, so by making cooperation like that their project will further develop and grow well. But it's not easy because we also must have the public trust.

exactly, when we are in the blockchain project space greed will be a bigger problem to deal with than rational thought to advance every aspect of the crypto industry. In short, such an organizations only wants fast capital without having to go through a long and labor-intensive journey.

A lot of reasons. Purposes.
What if at the beginning of it the true purpose is just to gather money and exit? Scammy attempts.
Bankruptcy could also be an issue. I already experienced that with one of my bought tokens.
They might have a reason and you cannot do anything about it since you will pay more for legal help just to chase them.
Will you go to so much trouble and expense just for that?

Yes, two of the most common reasons are bankruptcy and scam attempts. If a project suddenly stopped without any notice, it's likely a scam project that was created in order to gather funds from the beginning. If a project is actually suffering, you'll see it suffers time over time, not suddenly. However, for both cases, we can't do anything but moving on and forget it!

The reasons for suspension can never be known and I don't blame any developers for such move, there are few things that can course this and this is why we've investors have been warned many times to never invest more than what we can afford to lose

In my opinion, there are many factors why a new project has stalled. Apart from the scam, the new project was stopped because the developer team started to leave the project and create a new project that was more realistic to be realized.

I think so too! As they working, they may realize that their project is not realistic anymore. As we know, a lot of people try to start-up and they're rush in doing something. Therefore, they may not think twice before starting something. It leads to the consequence that a lot of projects are not realistic and don't have any application to our market as well as our life. That's maybe one of the reasons why the developers stop developing their project. However, if they stop it and take away our funds, there's no excuse for this case!

Lack of funds is the most popular reason why many projects are closed, another popular reason is lack of good demand, though not all developers cares but we have some who still does, few projects even return investors fund once their target isn't met.

Some projects are born to steal from scratch, they pretend to be capable of handling the whole development just to confuse investors, it's all a plan and the best way to make it look like the end of the road is putting blame on lack of enough fund or other things

lots of projects stop their crypto projects and what's worse they just disappear all of this happened because the funds to run the project were lacking
or lack of interest when they make a sale
Not all like that. But there are some who are gone after they collected funds and make investors believe that they are legit ones. Like the miracle tele, at first it was good and many are interested but suddenly the project gone due to the announcement of their ceo of leaving the project eventually lead to an exit scam. This is the worse reason for a project to stop. I will accept if the project loses fund or what but they totally fooled many people just like that.

The are many reason why some people stop their crypto project one is that their project cannot hook with the needs of the investors. Another is that while their selling is ongoing it tend not to reach even just their soft cap that is why they stop their project.

We don't know the real reason for them because they never tell us. Maybe they think that people now become smart, and they can not get their success to trick people. Maybe they have difficulty continuing the project because of their lose their investors in the middle of the process, so they choose to stop for a while their project. If they can get more investors, maybe they will continue to finish each step of their plan.

They want an easy way out, another is they really don't have something to offer to the community and it's all just a plan and nothing else, some of them fake their team, copy other people's whitepaper or plagiarized, they all just want to make their project appear good in the outside but in the inside, there is really no platform or product to speak they just preparing to run away.

That's how the scammer is causing many investors to lose money in this market. They create a project of bullshit and make a small product, then attract investors to invest in their project. After the plan is complete they will abandon the project and leave the tokens bullshit

the solution to that problem is guarantee. for example every investor who puts money in there, will get a money back guarantee when the project stops but I think it's difficult. or if not, investors put their money at the end of the project. So, the project must run first until it completes the listing and distribution of tokens, after which new investors put in the money. but here, investors have first registered with the project team so that everything is clear, how many and who are the investors.

Mostly this happens when there is dispute among the team members or simply the team thinks that the project is not feasible anymore with the changing market or one reason could be inappropriate use of funds resulting in loss of funds and bankruptcy that results in abandoning of the project.
In any case i think there are always solutions out there and if the team is serious and they think that the project is viable they should hand ove rthe project to some other competent team of developers with a deal where the old team can hold some percentage of tokens while new can have double the percentage of tokens to revive the project.
Compeltely abandoning the project is really annoying rather pathetic because the supporters and investors are the ones that suffer and this also gives bad name to icos, new projects and crypto in general which is not the right thing to do.

Over the years i have seen many projects going down and finally closing completely some of them are Envion which was biggest mining ico but it was spoiled by the clash of CEO and rest of the team.
Similarly, Taas that was like a mutual fund in the crypto space stopped out because they didnt make any profit for more than a year and could not survive the long bears market because they had to pay staff and profit themselve so due to no revenue they decided to stop the project and distributed all their holdings and profits to the token holders.
So you can see there are different scenarios and factors that result in the closure of a project.

From my point of view, the reason why projects suddenly stops because team members and developers didn't manage and innovates their projects very well that investors lost their interest participating and investing their money. Unlike other projects, they continuously developing their project to make it more successful to attract more investors and to have a good value in the crypto market.

The are many reason why some people stop their crypto project one is that their project cannot hook with the needs of the investors. Another is that while their selling is ongoing it tend not to reach even just their soft cap that is why they stop their project.
There was another reason too just like they have no funds again to continue the development progress and this has already done by so many scam projects. So many dead projects have been using the various reason to exit from their responsibility with the investors

I think some of the crypto project has stopped or left behind because of lack of development, no further plans for future gains. I think the correct word to say that the project is abandoned. Abandoned project can earn by their investors, so if they abandoned the project with no further development, only them could earn by buying their project tokens. But no earnings in the part of investors or bounty hunters.
Most likely they can't evolve like the roadmap they came up with, which is the reason most of the altcoins in this market collapsed. They have ambitions to change the market but cannot fulfill it. And besides, there are also many projects that copy the ideas of other projects to steal investors' money

First of all, the most obvious one - you make up a magical project, get the investors in it, you run away and take all the profit short term sort of.
Second option ,not so obvious - you make up a magical project, get the investors in it, developing and marketing is not so magical in reality tho, investors quit and so does the project leader.

lose of interest or lack of finance to support the project, or the idea and concept of the project turned out to be too difficult to achieve and the team decided to abandon the project, i have seen some cases like that where suddenly the team will decide to stop project or sometimes they sell it to another team who are interested, but in my opinion i don't really like such attitude.

Usually it happens to projects that lack investors, so they may not be able to cover the need for project development and also the project does not get good interest in the market. Or maybe it was a fraudulent project that was just looking for profit and then just walked away.

Most "teams" abandon a project simply because they made enough money with an idea. Most don't have working products and so nothing to lose. You always have to be careful with the projects you decide to invest and if you are trading, holding is never a good idea.

I believe most of those developers that stop their crypto projects along the line don't really have a realistic vision and what it takes. Some of them just jumped into it without a strong focus. At the same time I give kudos to crypto projects that strive for success in the space such as Bluzelle (https://bluzelle.com) and others. I have been following this particular project for a while and trust me they have not disappoint their community both in the good and hard time we experience in the space. They keep on developing and becoming better. As it stands, their mainnet launch is going live soon.
This is the kind of project we want to be seeing around, having strong team, solving real life problems with planned road map.

Nice sideways of this thread, though those developers who stop working with their projects either realized that they didn't get the support or really don't have any concrete plans adside from scamming investors money.

Be careful with any investment that you'll going to support, it's important to follow the team and check if they are really exist and not just a dummy that the sole purpose is to scam out.

There could be divergent reasons why developers choose to stop development of a project, I think the major reason is related to finance. Developing a project could be quite tasking in terms of resources and finance assists in securing the needed resources to fund a project development. It takes a great deal of effort to convince private investors to believe in your dream and most investors are majorly concerned about interest and profits from the project, when this is not forth coming, they get discouraged

Because their goal from the start is to earn money and that's it, they don't care about crypto adoption resulting to add bad image on crypto. They already earned money so they abandoned it. It's unfortunate but there are always people like that abusing and getting advantage of the investors. They should rot in jail but some of them has anonymous teams or fake photos, All we can do is be cautious not to be fool by those scammers.

Some projects fold due to mismanagement, insufficient funds to run the project or poor strategies, but most projects actually fail because they are scam. Proper use of funds after token sale is important, some projects use more than required funds for promotion, appropriating little to product development and so on. Some projects fail due to legal constraints.

If this happen, then they just intend to scamming people. Real project will work for their products untill it finished. Some scam projects only do some sale, if they sold their tokens successfully, they will get listed on market then dumping the price and abandoned the current project, then Make another project with a fake team and whitepaper.

Some projects can't use their money to develop a proper product that can bring them regular profit and that makes those are only wasting a lot of their resources for nothing and this is also a way for the project to stop their project too. It's not so risky as long as you know that point so well.

I think the answer to this question deserves a two way explanation;

1. it may be that they never got enough investor to invest in their project during their ICO and they have to discontinue the project.

2. it could be that some persons only floated their projects to make away with investors funds. it is not far fetched from the truth that some projects are scam as they lack foresight to make an indelible mark in the cryptosystem.

I will therefore advice we always read about their team of contributors and google their profile to ascertain their proficiency in the crypto business alongside. Accessing their whitepapers to ascertain the relevance of the project to societal demands  is another way of knowing if the project could succeed or fail as investors themselves wouldn't want to invest in a project that will have no economic relevance.

Honestly with the high level of suspicion, no investor would want to be scammed; therefore adhering to this aforementioned reasons could help us to know why projects either fail or are discontinued, thanks.

The main reason they stopped is they can't raise money anymore, even with a soft cap, they are having a hard time raising it, some project even extend the period of sale, but still they fail. We have a lot of projects in the market already, majority of them are scams by the way, so how would people trust them?

New projects usually gives short term return, but it's not anymore happening these days, so investors now try to shift on old coins with good volume in exchange.

Yes. Developers only leave their projects once there is no reason to continue because their is no enough funds to proceed the project or they have taken already their investors' money so they have to leave and abandon the project. Making DYOR is really a good thing to do before deciding to invest in a project so that we will not fall being a victim of scam ICOs.

the reason why they stopped development was that their project had no interest. devs have done everything to promote their project, but nothing has changed. so rather than wasting their time, it's better not to continue with project is the right choice.

I understand the decision they made, but on the one hand I am disappointed that there must have been people who lost money buying their coins in the past. they could have been wiser. if they are unsure from the start and do not have the funds to do development, it is better not to release their project.

some developers just don't think about it. they feel that developing a project is easy enough, even when the project looks quite difficult. besides that, a less professional team was also one of the reasons why the project did not last long.

I think that you are out of topic dude, i know that investing in those projects is very risky but in this case, he was asking for the main reason why the projects have already stopped. That means their projects were alive before the dev stop the development progress and in this case the funding will always become the main answer.

Reality is, only 10% of the projects that were succesfully raising money could go on continue their development while the rest is failing with so many problems they faced. It's always works like that and not only happening in the cryptocurrency market but at those startup projects too. Only really few idea is actually turns out to be great.

I think less than 10% of the projects were successful because from a few years ago, the market is at a downtrend, which makes the project lose trust from the investor. They decide to stop the project for a while until the situations getting better. Some project ends by scamming people and run with the money they got from the early investors. But at this time, maybe the number of projects which can succeed will be bigger than before.

The decision to stop their Cryptocurrency projects depends on some factors. Some factors might be because of the lack of funds to further develop their platforms. Another factor might be that in the middle of their development, they can see that the continuation of the platform wont be profitable for them. They also stop their platform when they can see that there are not enough support from people that they expect them to use it for.

I promoted one coin that stopped developing their project they have a good concept they did not push through with the development because of the pandemic no investors are scammed bounty hunters did get what they worked for although the coin has no value, they just want to create awareness which will soon forget because investors have a short memory what they want is a continuous unique concept.

most of them are scammers and they just find bullshit reasons to stop their project. So our problem is how to check the project. Decentralized markets give us the freedom to trade and invest, but they also carry many risks. We are surrounded by scammers so you need to learn how to check projects for investment. Please create one more article asking about how to check good projects, it will help you a lot.
I agree majority of them are scammers it's their business to scam people they will continue to launch projects after projects and make them their ongoing business they will continue to scam over and over again and the bad thing is they are going to be here as long as Cryptocurrnecy and crowdfunding is unregulated.

Yea, from 2017 i am also seeing this kind of work in forum basically when market crash. i think there are some reason for that some team stop cyrpto project at the middle or at the end, those are

1. First of all cheater team (like king casino project team, they made two round projects but at the end they out from market by declaration)
2. Fail to targeted position in market when it in middle position.
3. For whole market dumping condition when no body interested to investment.
4. Inexperienced team and management.
5. Wrong subjective project so that no body go for investment.
6. Start with plagiarized whitepaper or website and after some time when it flash they have to stop the project.

In this way there are many reasons actually for stop their crypto projects.

I had participated many good ICOs and now I don't see much activities. They thought of listing idea on paper and gather funds but when they actually tried to develop, they couldn't. Good Blockchain developers are not easy to find as it is still a new field and they can't develop the login what is required on solidity. And, another reason I felt was the idea was scamming right from the inception.

Some persons think that setting up a project is as simple as getting a smart contract tokens. Most projects lack a good bedrock or foundation. They are built on wishes and not hardwork. It takes a great deal of effort to become a developer and strive to fix real life issues. Most projects don't even have a sellable product. I read some whitepaper and wonder how such a product could fly. They are basically interested in getting the funds and after few months they abandon the project because they don't have content or anything to offer.

Some things can't be avoided and so in that circumstances, you would hardly do anything to such. This is in the advent of disagreement between members of the team. If you have a team that is always at disagreement, mostly likely they might not succeed. Team need to exist in cooperation to achieve set goals.

I don't see any potential project abandoned after half progress instead of all the shit ICO projects left, and to be honest, we are lucky to see them gone! Because the crypto industry has enough ideas, still new ideas are coming and making their place, that's a good sign! While shit projects are coming with this Defi hype to scam people's hard-earned money! Should we welcome them? No way! Better see them gone for good!

Recently, I noticed that a couple of blank head projects are running their IEO on ProBit or in UniSwap, many people buying those shit because of the Defi hype, and they are scamming everyone! So, you should be happy that shit projects are failing to raise money, the potential startup won't be abandoned in this alt season!

I remember one project before,i was hired as a community manager and after like 4 months there is no progress and they had been scammed by their marketing director so the team decided to stop the project coz they are losing a lot of money.

One common reason is lack of budget. It will be hard for a project to succeed if you only have a minimal budget for it.

It's quite unfortunate that even a party to the project, ripped the project of funds. The issue of budget and finance seems to be predominantly a factor for legitimate projects closing down. It feels really terrible to have a potential great project get abandoned because of finance and distress within the team.

Yes, and the point is that developers who are always looking for reasons to close projects are developers who do not have the experience or knowledge to make a project develop, if we look thoroughly, there are still many countries that have not accepted the presence of crypto well, but successful projects in countries. different things are always there every year.

At the long run, the project become inactive

i Agree with that. These are the common possibilities why some developers failed which causes to stop the project. lack of funds, lack of future plans, project managers/developer who lack experience and training, and inadequate risk management, but other says some of projects that failed and abandoned with no justifiable reason is 100% scam.

There can be many reasons, first some stop their crypto projects when they run out of ideas thus proving that the whole set up was built on hype. Some also stop when they have exhausted the funds they generated, although the team can also steal the funds and claim to have run out of funds. Also, another reason which doesn't happen all the time is stopping the crypto project because of regulation, in this case the team can't be blamed 100% although some blames can be channelled to them for failing to carry out a good research on their location and its regulations before launching the project.

1. They used the hype to raise money to run away with it
2.They had a vision but they were never good enough to implement it in the project and they slowly use the money and stop the project after they run out of funds.

Having a project is like a gambling wether you win or you lose, in this crypto world having or launching a project is very risk especially if an owner of that project invest a huge amount of money in order for a project to be successful. In your statement if people behind the project tend to leave the project maybe because they are getting hard of winning the project in the market. They lose their money already for the promotion and marketing of that project so better leave it before losing all their assets.

yes, many factors brought the project to a halt. whether it's because they don't know how to properly manage money, or something else. what is certain is, his team didn't prepare for that. actually quite a lot of things like this happen in the development of a project. its development has stopped without anyone knowing the reason.

becuase they don't have enough funds to continue the project or they were on purpose to cheat the investors my friend
thats why we must do a deep research before investing to reduce the risk
And thats also one of the reason why they are trying to scam investors because of these the funds are not have, and actually we can find them in the bounty altcoins. If we are not careful of the project we invested or the bounty campaign maybe all the funds we have will be gone instantly. And if we have really care of our funds and account must be careful all the time that we encountered many pojects and need dip search on them.

I think this is because there are problems in the project such as : not enough funds or not enough man power to run the project, lack of adoption, etc. If the project have sufficient resources in their project, they wouldn't pause or even stop the development of the project.

I think most developer left it because they feel that there is lack of interest from investors or public. There are many reasons like some projects are just scam. They will run off with peoples money and stop the project so everyone should do the detailed study of projects before investing.

usually the project stops due to insufficient funds or not reaching the softcap. they cannot get a license like what happen to Adab they have a lot of alibi and bad reasons to stopped their project some alibis involved the Covid like what happened to Geomadao, each project has their own reason and if they did not refund their investors then we can consider them scam.

I think people stop their projects midway due to different reasons depending on the present circumstances. Some projects exitscams, some projects do not raise enough funds during Crowdfunding to develop the projects

It is up to investors to do their due diligence and invest right

maybe the person doesn't finish the project (stop their crypto project), because they give up or believe that their project will fail and no investor wants to invest in the project, so instead of spending more money on completing the project it would be better for him to stop the project, but I think this will disadvantages people who have invested in the project from the start (although sometimes there are some project that return investors' funds if their project fails).

I think the main cause why they stop crypto project, first its all about money developers doesn't have enough funds to develop the project more and they can't really put some serious efforts or the person who's paying the devs isn't affording the funds to build the whole project which mainly will cause the stop of the crypto project. And second was the bad team or choose the person to wrong capability that can lead to failure of cryptocurrency projects

when the developer is still returning the funds that have been raised from investors or making returns on all those who have tokens or coins that are already on the market I think it's still good. But if like you said someone ran and stopped the project without any notification and the development was gone, that's already a scam. they must be punished for everything they do.

Failure and success behind of project  in my opinion is more to their real financial readiness even though they have previously sat down and discussed their plans carefully. If it is really ready, I am sure that it will slowly and surely develop especially supported by a team that has high talent in the concept, product, and capacity of the development of the project.

Everything has a process and it doesn't just happen.

The major reason why people relinquish their involvement in a project is financial constraints. The team may have the desire to complete the project, but when they are financially handicapped, they'll need to suspend the process until the needed finance is raised to continue.

its rare to see developers refund investor's money, most of them prefer to hold fund and maybe try another way to make project could live although fail probability very high. money will be biggest temptation for every person, moreover if we hold millions dollar in our wallet.

In my opinion, if a project stops in the middle of the road or does not reach the minimum stage or is often called Softcap, it is because the funds are insufficient to carry out project development. and usually serious developers will continue to update their project, looking for other solutions to raise investor funds. but I rarely see this kind of developer. most of them do not continue their project development again & prefer to launch new projects.

Currently, there are too many projects and most of them are competing, overlapping ideas. DEFI, for example, projects are copying and they are also copying the source code, which shows that it is not easy to create an idea and implement them.
In addition to making the product, they must have other marketing activities for people to notice it and use it.
Human resources for blockchain are currently scarce and developers are not always patient with a project.
Program products, repair during use, and upgrade projects. All of the above is difficult.

Yes, and a good project is a project that wants to return investors 'funds when they don't find a good target, but there are also projects that don't return investors' funds when they start to fail to find success during promotion, this should be unfair even though the reason they failed is because insufficient funds for development.

I can tell why people abandon projects and look for new ones. Because people just stopped trusting projects that promise to pay rewards but unfortunately do not pay. But there is another situation when the development team receives investments from investors and then disappear without a trace with all the investments.

Many of the reasons that the project management team issued in stopping their project, especially they could not reach the target stipulated because of the lack of interest from the investors so the value of the coin is not worth it, but those of us who follow the project feel at a disadvantage and have spent a lot of time of course we are very disappointed.

I think the most common reason why many people or project developer stop their crypto project is because the project is no hype at all that make their project token sales(soft or hard cap) unreachable. I have been witness several project that stop because of this reason.
Yes, not only have some projects stopped for this reason, but there have been many projects that have stopped for reasons of not being able to achieve a soft cap or hard cap on their token sale, but something like that only applies to projects that use the funding method through ICO and IEO , while for projects that do not use this method, of course there is no reason for it, if it is still reasonable because it means that the team is not ready to run the project or develop it.

That's the majority, a lots of scammers find this venue as easy place to gather money, investing with fake project with good advertising teams, this scammers collects a huge amount of money from poor investors who are looking for opportunities inside this market.

It's also the very reason why lots of people forget about this side of investment venue, losing a lot makes send them away and tag this market as scam side of investment opportunities.

Can't blame since once you suffer from losing your money the initial reaction is to quit away and stay out to avoid repeating the same fate.

They mostly don't know what they are doing with that limited budget or have no plans before. The common reason is because of this Covid-19 which makes the event slowing down, to be fair the roadmap shouldn't be delayed for this long if they can work from home.

In my view covid-19 isn't a big reason for the stopping of any project due to the lack of funding. Most of the projects try to just tokenise without any minimum viable product. Projects won't be allocated with perfect funding, and that's the reason why some people stop their crypto project. Development of any project depends upon the team behind it, the backing team too is a reason for the failure of projects.

sometimes it's also because they come up with a platform concept that is already on the market. especially if they do not have any updates or are of more value than the project they will not get the attention of investors. because if they are with the same concept, they will easily lose to platforms that are already on the market first, which have a trusted community and market.

Investors has no protection and criminals can easily go away with the money. Funding is not a problem here, investors will have money to invest the projects they want so the certain projects have money to continue their development. Rather than, due to covid 19 the team development itself have so many excuses to delay the development plan, it ruins the hype to investors and community itself.

We participate in bounty campaigns that we give them trust, they want to scam or want to pay us is another thing. so newbie needs to learn a lot about project analysis in order not to participate in scam projects.

The simple reason is, they have gotten what they want and that's it, whatever be the reason, this is the only fact I see that will warrant developers doing such things over and over again. They have gotten what they want in the sense that they have gotten the amount of money they want thus no need continuing the project than to exit scam or come up with whatever reason why they need to shut down. Some of these projects makes millions but yet can't come up with any tangible thing, hence excuses here and there, and then shut down the project. This behaviour has been happening over time and although it is hard knowing legit projects, but yet one can try his best to invest in potential ones, in some cases those carrying out IEO on top exchanges.

The major reason for such situation is lack of funds and interest from the owner or group. Most lied about project roadmap. claiming they have achieved a milestone meanwhile they have not meet any target.

Because now it's very difficult to get interested someone in any product or idea when there are a million projects around. The idea may sound good to you, but not to the users, and then it will drain resources and money.

Some cryptocurrency projects has stopped i think because the funds of the project has empty.
The funds usually used for listing exchanges, marketing expenses, infrastructure expense, etc.
Or there is a possibility that the project was a scam project and exit scammed people.

I think some projects are being paused and also stop due to some problems. Some projects i joined has paused their project because of no development in several months, this is also other way of saying the project was abandoned. However there is some project that ia stopped because of technical problems being faced, such as not giving rewards to their participants, also they might be a fake team so the project would definitely stop.

Yes if there's no investors who will support the project then the dev/team cant continue it, supporters are needed to make the project succeed.

So if the project suddenly stop/pause few reasons are behind it. But what common is it turn out to be scam and the only goal is to get the money of investors and escape. In this case moving on is the best solution and next time be careful what project to invest.

Stopping projects midway is not always due to it being a scam. Funding and investments play a major factor in the success or completion of any project. Apart from that the dev team has to be consistent and true to continue the project. Maybe a weak project or idea with tech unable to compete with the quickly changing, advancing, and volatile face of cryptosphere could be another factor.

Most projects are only copying others idea and the team will stop to continue because lack of interest from investors. Another reason could be the market situation and they collected not enough for their plans.

The OP is probably talking about those projects which achieved the soft-cap level. In such cases, you can't claim that there was no interest from the investors. In most of the cases what happens is that the project team accumulates funding from the investors, and then vanish all of a sudden with these funds. In some cases, this will be done in a gradual manner. With every passing month, the development will be phased down, until they reach a point where the activity is completely stopped. In both the cases, the investors will lose their capital.

If the project reaches softcap suddenly development stops halfway because the project is unable to compete with other projects that have similar ideas and it could also be that the team does not use softcap funds properly so that during development they lack funds or maybe because they are planning a scam

Maybe it is inside issue?maybe the partners did not come to be understanding in the middle of the project thats why they need to stop or paused the project?

or maybe there are internal problem that cause the delay of budget because we know how much expenses needed for one big project to launched and succeed.

I think the main reason why people stop there crypto project is that it doesn't create enough demand. Running a successful project is a lot of work, especially if you don't have an experienced team behind it. I believe many new projects under estimate the continuous work required for a good coin. To be a good project you need investor as steady stream of trades, without that project will be forgot too fast. So a continuous form of advertisement are required to acquire new investors every month.

unfortunately there are many cases that occur because of a scammer in one of the teams, if the developer stops continuing the project because it is a waste of time I don't think it's possible because the developer is looking for money here and if they already get a lot of money then they will come out and take all the money away that has been collected.

This project is an example of how to start a project without investor money. There are so many reasons why the CEO leaves the project without any official announcement.

To be able to do it, projects need a huge budget for promotion. Since cryptocurrency and blockchain are relatively young on the market, not many have that opportunity to spend alot. From my point of view, main reason still is money. Even a demanded and successful project can easily stop to exist.

Imho, crypto and blockchain are still in youth and there is not much believe in it from investors. We need minimum 10 more years for people to understand that blockchain is something they really need and not to be afraid of it and investing in it.

The problem is that they collect money before they prove their ability to build a project what they demonstrate in a whitepaper. The solution is called RICO - reversible ICO, when team doesn´t satisfy investors, investors could receive a refund through a smart-contract.

This happens quite often than not, especially now during this pandemic a lot of these projects are resurrecting and its just hard to trust that anymore. A lot of abandoned projects are showing up again, i say just stay away from them overall, there are a lot of projects out there, dont put your trust on something that already lost it.

In my view, most of the crypto projects halt due to both due to incompetence and insufficient funding. And further lack of innovation and lack of long term vision.

in my option, the reason why projects suddenly stops because team members and developers didn't manage and innovates their projects very well that investors lost their interest participating and investing their money. Unlike other projects, they continuously developing their project to make it more successful to attract more investors and to have a good value in the crypto market.

The budget of the project may be one of the reasons for its failure because the team wants to develop the project and they must pay money for that and thus money stands a hindrance in front of them, also there are projects whose idea may fail with the link to the blockchain, and the project may be an idea that is not innovative and this may lead to a lack of investors, and thus the team loses hope to continue to complete the project.

Teams sometimes are doing it strategically. Sometimes it needs timing to update the community about the development. If the price somehow looks bad already the team will release a report to show they are not leaving the project.

And sometimes the ya re just waiting for the bulls to come. There are proejcts that I almost forgot already but last week I saw some of their twitter profiles are tweeting. And just in time the price also of BTC break the $12k.

The first can be if the project didn't meet the requirements needed of them from a particular country and so on, that is, they are not compliant to the rules set up by the government.
From another broader sense, many projects which started for a long time are still developing their ideas, it might not be fast nor all the time but at least the team are doing something. Then on the other hand, in some projects, maybe after a while the team now comes up with an excuse, and suspend the project or quit and so on; many scam projects took this lane. If you look at this two cases, you will see that on one hand, some teams are serious and on the other, some teams are fraudulent. So, to answer the question, some people stop their crypto projects because they have satisfied themselves, meaning the project was a scam right from the beginning. They had whitepaper, roadmap and even got the necessary funds, so why abandoning the project, if not they are scams.

Because even if the team is well organized and intelligent in what they are doing, still they cannot manipulative their own success because the success is based on their platform itself if there are low counts of investors that are supporting their project, the probability of failing is high. But if there's a lot of investors really support them because their project is promising, I can say that they can continue their project until it succeeds.

I think some crypto projects being stopped or abandoned it is because of lack of funds, during their projects maybe they don't meet their target softcap or cannot pursue to their roadmap because of lack of funds from investors. Some crypto projects might stop due to the projects lack of investors in it, or maybe only few who engage to invest with the project.

The reason for the project being stopped or abandoned by the team due to the lack of funds from the investor is a very common reason, because with that the team will not be able to complete the project road map that they have compiled beforehand, so what the project team must fix is how to convince the investors to want to enter into the project they were holding at that time, if they could not do that, it would be very useless to use time to build the project, because the results would obviously be in vain.

A lot of times we see some big amount projects. In the beginning, they started well, but after a few days, they stopped the project. There could be many reasons behind this. For example, if the project is not successful or if the project is run by a bad person. Even if there is a project scam, it goes away after a few days.

Some projects have interesting use cases but as time goes on the team becomes tired for one reason or the other, mostly because lack of interest on their project, this is why its important for developers to come up with rare and useful ideas, not just some use cases that investors have seen hundreds of time before.

not most but all of them because who the heck will stop the project when they already have a budget for this plus they dont give alibi's on why did that happen , they just completely fled away  . its hard to choose on those countless projects add in the number of scam , if you will be the investor you will get intimidated  .

No investors want to experience loss in their investment. Many quite because of what they heard from other investors who don't really know if the project is still on board or not.
Recently many are quitting crypto to join bitcoin because of the pump many investors are experiencing right now which is causing other cryptocurrencies going down gradually in the market.
Many new users are in BTC because the gas fees is very low that is making them to remain in bitcoin. The way things is going now show bitcoin will still pump more than this in next month. Crypto is reducing why bitcoin is rising .

I will say 3 things could be involved.
1. Inability to meet up with the market cap. Some of them target farther than what came and has made sweet promises as bait, which dey may not fulfil,so they have to abandon the project.
2. Some of the are scam, they come to show themselves and test-run their designs and have nothing to offer.
3. Some of them are just due to poor team Management. Some projects that I have done that they will just do like they sensible and yet could not even finish their project.

Well, there are several options for why the development of the project ends halfway: the most banal-the project was originally aimed at raising funds and smoothly going into the shadows (Scam); it can also be assumed that a great idea was difficult to implement and the funds collected were not enough to finish the work, the programmers lost the incentive to work and the team scattered in search of new jobs

Developers leave their projects for various reasons.
 According to my version
 1. First, they are unable to compete with other projects in attracting investors
 2. It may be because their products are not in high demand that they do not get income for project development.

We should stay away from those projects, which team has a bad reputation. For some bad reputation or shortage of funds, some projects stop developing their projects. As long as I know the reason is so many but some projects redevelopment their projects during the good market situation. I saw the same types of projects in the last bullrun of cryptocurrency.

I believe only a few of them had have a good reason to discontinue the project, while the rest of them are just scam projects that just want to steal money from the investors and sometimes they just want to steal personal identity informations (kyc) from the bounty hunters to sell on the dark web, just like clipx project.
I think crypto currency projects are halted most times due to lack of funds to start up, or perhaps after a failed Crowdfunding attempt that leaves the team with no funds to continue product development. Either ways, i believe projects stops due to incompetence of developers but funds get blamed
I think most times it's because the developer feel like their project won't be able to compete with other projects doing something similar, most developers just leave because they feel the project will become irrelevant in the long run.

There are lots of reasons behind it,
It is possible that the project have really no intention of achieving their goals or most likely a fake or a scam project. It is also possible that the project cannot attract more investors as they have expected that's why even if you see them as a good project, they cannot proceed because of lack of investors/supporters.

I can think of two reasons why projects do stop in the middle.

1. Lack of supporters and budget to continue the progress of their project. We know its important to have many investors, the reason why they are conducting a bounty campaign to spread awareness about their project.

2. Its a scam and the only goal is to runaway with the money of the investors.

The reasons may contrast from a cryptocurrency project to another yet the primary reasons that causes these issues are :

The financial plan: Developers needs more assets to build up the project more and they can't generally invest some genuine amounts of energy or the individual who's paying the devs isn't bearing the cost of the assets to fabricate the entire project which predominantly will cause the "stop of the crypto project".

Legitimate issues: Some projects may have some lawful issues whether in the ICO part of in the improvement on the grounds that the world is so wide and law changes from a land to another which may cause misdirecting, issues and inconveniences.

Inconveniences inside the group: Mainly, a few people groups may be working nonstop to spare the project and assist it with developing and some different parts are not genuine by any means.

These are a portion of the reasons I believe that may impact the projects

They considered listing thought on paper and assemble reserves however when they really attempted to create, they proved unable. Good Blockchain engineers are difficult to track down as it is as yet another field and they can't build up the login what is needed on robustness. Furthermore, another explanation I felt was the thought was scamming directly from the beginning.

And it might not be interesting to the investors since many new project created these days so they must create a unique one. Also, people are wise enough to invest these days so they must offer a real product which could attract more people to join in their project.

The answer to this question depends on what the crypto project  team intentions why they create crypto project. Some create crypto projects just to raise money and then abandon the project and repeat again (scammers), some leave the project for valid and acceptable reasons e.g no community support, lacks of funds etc..

Many ico projects are abandoned by their developers halfway through, that's for many reasons. It could be because there are problems with the legality of their country, or because it does not reach the soft cap and many other reasons.
But the scariest thing is if developers leave their projects because they're not serious and just want investor money.

I don't think a project will disappear if its a good or promising project, it simply shows that they are really not interested in making it, some projects are just making groups, inviting people, making a post on other site promoting and using the members just to show how hype they are, I mean if I have a project and it's really promising why would I stop it? they disappear because they have already taken the money its straight a forward answer, some projects continue even they are short of the budget because it's real, a real project steps up, and scam projects exit, its the reality

The level of trust and certainty of the project depends on the team that can really make the people involved in the project believe.

the first two that you said are common but the third, is that even a valid reason to stop ? that reason was so lite .

new projects normally start small and not popular but if they have gathered the right amount of budget that they need they can work out the rest , follow the plans that they make and they can expect noticeable results  but if they are too ambitious at the start and wants to be popular easily , something isnt right with the way they think and they arent professional .

that's a very interesting question. There were few tokens that I still have that were extremely good in the beginning, they had large budget and it looked like they were making progress. However, it all stopped without any news during last November 2019 and its not even listed on any exchange anymore. I am really not sure what happened to it. Usually when this kind of things happen you can never tell whats going on unless the team decide to inform investors.

some small time projects close down its no problem but when you have something that has few million dollars budget and they decide to shut down. it doesn't make much sense.

Years back more new projects got into market, and succeeded by the bull market. During that time period the market isn't that mature as well as people aren't much knowledged about the market. Having that growth and profiting in mind people go for developing their own project. First of all the project should be started for some usecase, but here projects are developed for the purpose of money making. This is the major reason for existence of lots of projects and one in ten getting success.

I'm just wondering why a team will launch new project without the right experience, is that not the main reason why developers hired team members? This is sadden honestly, very heartbreaking, we have to invest in their project with our hard-earned money but they aren't qualified to take the project to high level?
I wrote only one reason, there are more reasons. Another reason is scamming. If the project team's goal is simply to scam, they close project after get some money from investors. Like KingCasino

So many reasons here. No funds, No supports, greedy set of developers. these are but to mention afew. there are other reasons why projects got abandoned. lack of technical know how. also developers getting stocked at the middle of their development. unable to resolve a problem/bug as the project development goes on.
I think the major reason why projects failed to proceed is lack of funds and developers abandoning the project.

Often times, people just don't understand what they are doing. I have seen many good projects that have faced one major problem - regulation. It can break anything.
Even if you have collected a sufficient amount of funds, the regulator may consider this a violation of the law and prohibit you from further developing and using the collected funds.
It's good if you don't go to jail.

Usually there are 3 options.
1. People understand that their project is shit, and they prefer to stop before it happens naturally.
2. They have collected enough money and are going to hide with them.
3. They have not raised enough money, and they have no choice but to finish the work ahead of time.

I am going to support you here. I do not see any other reasons for stopping the project. I would like to add here only the fact that some dishonest guys know from the very beginning that they deal with a scam or fraud. Unfortunately, they advertise it deceiving people, and then vanish.

Such attitude should be discouraged at all levels and the developers should be professional especially when they have raised funds from people they should be responsible for it but sadly i have seen that people behind these projects who abandon the project for no obvious reasons just seem very casual and do not care for the money people have invested with them.
I think there should be some criminal law and proceedings against such people so that only serious and professional people are allowed to launch a project.

I think that we miss another option - a split of the team, when there are unsolvable problems within the team. And there is only one way to split up, but how this will happen is not always clear and usually a very complex process.

crypto projects that are neglected and abandoned by the public are all because the project was abandoned by investors and no other investor wants to continue. because investors greatly affect the crypto price and the crypto price affects how many the adoption of the coin is.

It is normal for them to stop the project if they think that would not be going successful.
But all we always see for some project are not totally a truly a project one of them a fake project to gained more people to invest.
And there are times they continue if many investor invested the project that have a possibility to listed into a popular exchange site.

Most of them are fakes, if they are for real even they don't get the support they should have fund to continue, the good project will continue to process with or without the support of the community, if the coin they they are developing are intended to help the addition will be count and for sure once the full usages has been developed it will gain the support that they are looking.
That's true most of bounty right now are fake or they doing swap and becomes a low of price again.
But there few project also are trusted and as of now I seen project that worth to invest or participate because of this they are supported from the popular and a trusted people around them. So this will a good choice for to doing this stuff and earn a lot from them before its to late.

Probably a lot of the reason why the developers abandoned the project due to lack of funds, lack of support, lack of operational knowledge so they just leave what they started. Another possible reason is the lack of technical knowledge of how to run it in the market. Or in another way, they just promoting a scam project and when they got a target they run after it so the project wasn't run actively in the market.

They need to accomplish something that will take a very long time to accomplish in only barely any months with the desire for getting cash in type of commitment from individuals yet when they face the genuine work. Most ventures come up short on a decent bedrock or establishment. They are based on wishes and not hardwork. It requires a lot of exertion to turn into a designer and endeavor to fix genuine issues. I actually have that were amazingly acceptable before all else, they had huge spending plan and it seemed as though they were gaining ground. There are tons of copycat projects in crypto space today, once a new idea is been released by a new project and the project did very well many copycats will rise up from the deep, some to scam and some to be competitors, since investors have more interest in the first project that brings the idea they ignore the copycats and the copycats start dying bit by bit

Most ventures don't have a sellable item. I read some whitepaper and can't help thinking about how such an item could fly. venture possibly in light of the fact that they are getting not good at winning the undertaking on the lookout. They lose their cash as of now for the advancement and promoting of that venture so better leave it prior to losing every one of their resources.

Proper research will not change the intention of developers. Actually, most developers I think are good and have good intent but very few times are actual developers in charge of decision makers of their projects. The problem lies with the decision makers who probably pay devs as CTOs or engineers,,, but the bigger solution is simply decentralized governance and DAOs.

In my opinion the main cause of such situations is people`s laziness. When they get a lot of money after ICO, they forget about their early purposes and stop project developing. Also there can be a lot of different issues, which can cause projects death. For example there can be disagreements about development course and roadmap among team members. Many projects appeared last 2-3 years and only 1 or 2 from 10 are still working and try to make world better

It will be troublesome in this new time of crypto startup to know no one and figure you can make a progress. Looking for financial specialists, cleaning your task thought, cooperating and trade posting are generally because of impacts. The vast majority of the new activities are supported and upheld by existing ventures, you can do your exploration on that, which could have an influence for some time on effective new companies.

This is regularly chiefly due to the mentality of group, they know nothing about the fundamental information how to fabricate organizations, they know nothing about the structures of organizations, so even they have alot of cash they don't have a clue what must be finished with their cash.
Projects sometimes are not realistic with their goals and they plan so many things that s great on paper but will be difficult to bring to life, so that projects will eventually have to stop sooner or later.

Developers have reasons to suspend projects that they have run for reasons of the market situation and the lack of interest from investors in new projects, failure to achieve the soft caps they are targeting can temporarily stop the project until the developers get the funds they are targeting to develop projects with minimal funds.

Some developers have successful token sale, even hit hardcap but along the line they halt everything about their project. In this case, it's obvious the initial purpose of the project is "money grab" only, without intentions to develop the project. Some will have mind blowing Whitepaper with awesome milestones to be achieved on roadmap, but at the end won't achieve anything. However, some projects do halt due to mismanagement of funds or insufficient funds to continue with project development.

I know so many projects are scams, but if we don't invest in any new projects, then how will we get coins? New coins have more features than older coins. This could be the main reason why new projects stopped developing as promised. I have a little experience, but I will also give advice not to invest in new altcoins without listed exchange (like Binance).

That's true. Most of them always stop their project halfway once they get the money they want. It is not applied to all projects but most of them actually do this kind of exit. In this situation, we better try to investigate deeper and try to analyze the project what their real plan and if they plan for the long term of just a short period of time.

Many crypto investors stopped their project because the way cryptocurrency is no longer stable as before that is giving them joy at the end of the project. The reason for the closure of crypto projects is that the demand for crypto projects is declining or the teams that run the projects cannot move very far due to lack of sufficient funds also if traders are harmed by scams they may not be able to believe in new projects. crypto projects have been shut down due to declining demand there are many tokens that have no value in the market teams can't pump a lot of time without competing among themselves in order to keep the projects going you have to capital.

Probably lack of interest too, when they lack in funds, they should not launch the project, the thing is, we are seeing some projects that raise at least their minimum funds requirement to start the project, but they still fail in developing the project, question is, when will they use the funds if they will not return it to supplier. We really need the regulators to regulate and look at the market to remove the scammers who are abusing the newbie investors.

The crypto market is very uncertain. This market is not regulated by any statutory body not it is possible to control within a particular jurisdiction. Because of the blockchain technology these transactions are worked worldwide within a minute. All transactions are self-controlled and depend on the blockchain network. So, it is highly uncertain in terms of security. That's why many projects are stopped or they have compromised.

Of course, it is very bad when a project stops or changes its plans, which ultimately leads to closure. Unfortunately, there are a lot of such crypto projects and probably each of them has its own stories. But for some reason I am sure that most of such projects just wanted to get quick money, but in the end they could not achieve this, or they just got a little more money and closed. In general, now there are very few really good crypto projects, so you need to carefully approach the choice.

Many reasons when developers leave their projects unfinished. Business in any field is essentially for profit-seeking. If developers and teams are already making a profit then it's done. They left with people's money. However, this will apply to fake projects.
But if the project left it's work unfinished, because the project was completely hopeless, because it did not get enough funding to develop the project.
They usually return incoming funds to investors. Developers and teams may be less patient and ultimately frustrated. It could be.
In creating an ICO project it takes preparation and mental strength. This applies to all jobs, no exception.

There are 3 reasons that suddenly pop up in my mind. The 1st one which is bankruptcy or financial problem wherein a certain project cannot spend more money in order to cover their expenses. The 2nd one is lack of funding wherein only few investors who are interested putting money in their project and the 3rd one for me is lack of courage wherein they lose hope and it leads to them to abandon what they started.

Majority of the projects were not transparent and if you have a market situation where you can raise money and there is no authority to check what is going on behind closed doors, these things will happen and so is the reason i would like to see strict regulation on these so that we will not see scammers taking advantage of the free market.

Some are because if lack of funds whole some resulted through disagreement between team. Some also with intentions of scamming so once they scam they will abandon the project entirely.sny things can trigger that. And also to some once they create another project they will abandon the initial one.

If there are other projects stop suddenly without any reason, most of the owner or developer are scammer, or it could be that they knew they never hit the soft cap target in which its the reason for them not to continue it. But really mostly, they're after only for the collecting fund they've get then run away at once and abandoned it without any information to the community who believe in them something like that.

This is due to the absent of sponsor, partnership and investors. When the team is building something fantastic but their is no fund to carry out basic activities, this will automatically calls for a pause of be abandoned.
If you are talking about projects in the cryptocurrency token market then what about the money they are raising for the project in the form of investment and so is the reason they are providing these empty tokens in a promise that it could fetch you are profit once the project is successful and even then if you are not having the money to do these basic activities it is better to do something else :P.

There are two possible reason behind stop their crypto project suddenly.maybe because they fail to raise enough fund from their tokensale & unable to fill the goal for soft cap. Or maybe because they just want to scam people.so they thought, they collect enough fund and no need to continue their fake drama. So they stop their project by showing lame excuse

Because their intention for developing new projects is not strong, so if they already get people money, they will stop it. This is the fact of many new projects, that's why it is so risky to invest in a new project because we don't know the real intention of the team.

It is about lack of investors; A certain organization or company will not stop their project if there too many investors. For me it is all about financial shits why there are projects that stopped even though they are now 50% in their roadmap. The competition is too stiff because a lot of investors are now seeing the potential of the cryptocurrencies and for me it is the reason why only few projects that are becoming successful. I do not make investment in nowadays project because of the risks but I tried to make investment before in 2017 where a lot of ICOs became successful but there are some who are failing and those projects are failing because lack of funding wherein they cannot reach the soft cap. The crazy Defi is currently trending and for sure that not all of it are becoming successful where there are also some who are having trouble when it comes to finance because of lack of investors.

There are many crypto projects in this industry and what we noticed is most of them failed because of lack of interest from the investors. Did not reach the soft cap when they started the project that ended up failed. It is very important before we invest is to always check the team capacity to handle the project.

Usually if the softcap doesn't go through or the lack of investors, most of the project team immediately leaves the project without notification or creates a new one with a new team, and if we've ever participated in that project, we can't help but leave it too, it's already a risk of meeting something like that

if talking about this I am reminded of one of the projects, maybe I don't need to mention his name ... at that time they said if the softcap had been reached but when the token had started trading and the project had begun to develop, on the way they said if they were short of funds because some of the developments didn't fit the budget and now all are very expensive, forcing the team to abandon the project

Scam is not a reason to stop, if from the start they want to do a scam maybe they will exit earlier so they can cover their tracks. Most projects don't know what to do next, because they don't offer technology or solutions. and lastly, due to lack of funds, it has become an almost frequent problem

1. Adoption rate is low meaning the use case isn't useful
2. Too many inexperienced team members
3. Lack of funds
4. Intentionally built to exit scam from the beginning
5. They team decide to give up due to lack of better features

Scammers always have a way to make their victims happy before they leave. They do this process because this is their real plan, by running the project half way and then they leave it for some reason, even though they only need money and don't care about investors.

If the fraudulent process is just looking for money and then running away, they will never get additional money again like when registered on an exchange or when they get new investors when the project progress updates.

I prefer projects that have been running before, and then they need more money to expand their power by means of an ICO or IEO, this is less risky because market research has been carried out, the next step is to win market competition.

I think crypto currency projects are halted most times due to lack of funds to start up, or perhaps after a failed Crowdfunding attempt that leaves the team with no funds to continue product development.

Most of the abandoned projects are scam, so it is normal to stop when there is no money to be made, and then created a new one, continue to cheat.
It cannot be denied that some of them are really wannt do something at first, but unfortunately, maybe due to lack of fund, no time,or no longer interested, so they give up their project.

There are several reasons project owners folds without accomplishing their aim of posting. It's either they couldn't get investors to help to buy off their tokens during token sales or they do not have good communication skills. Some do have issues at the long run and decides to end the project and some out of scammy intentions they can end quickly once they don't see green light.

The project fails to show the temptation to try to embezzle money. Problems can arise due to inability to complete marketing materials properly. Team members are seen to be negligent or lose credibility. It is often observed that according to the road map, the project fails and the adaptation to the unfavorable environment continues.
There are also other problems such as projects failing, shutting down or reducing market reputation, putting projects at risk.

there are a number of factors responsible for this but they all bother down on the team behind the project. Many projects were aborted due to poor planning by the dev team, for example some dev teams didn't give appropriate consideration to the financial requirement of executing a project, so they are most likely to run out of funds to continue developing the project.

Majority of them does have that unrealistic goals thats why investors would be seeing it for them not to worthy to support nor fund such project. It all matters with the projects whitepaper and roadmap and everyone can see
if its attainable or plausible to be reached for such goal or just simply can be attained through dreams. LOL! Gone are the days where people do make common mistake on funding out random projects just for the hope for making themselves rich and now that investors do become even more wiser as years passed then expect that they would really be keen on selecting projects to invest on and this is why project owners do really need
to work to convince out the masses to support the proposed project and of course i do talk to those legit projects which are having those legit plan not to those scammy and fraud ones.

If they failed?

Any reason to continue the project? Well, if the project not collecting some money from the Crowdfunding was alright. But sometimes feel sad when they already collecting money and abandoned the project, when investor got shit token and they got the money.

In that the case, the team behind the project are concern more to get the money from investors than to pursue the project itself. Somehow, money is the destroyer of good and unique project. Why? Because the people behind did not afford to resist the temptation to collect the funds. Very necessary that the team must not a money maker but a visionary itself while creating money for everybody.

I think the main reason why so many projects stop is that the initial planning of the project doesn't take into consideration how much time and capital is needed to keep a new project afloat after it's launch. Most of the available funds are likely spent in the pre launch advertisements and are not available anymore after few month of the existence of the coin.

It is true, one of them is the lack of funds that they prioritize from the start to develop projects, and plus the distrust or interest of investors towards ICOs and IEOs is very large, making many projects stop their campaign because it will not be possible to run without funds, We also do not can compare the previous project with the current one, because it is very different from the current conditions, seeing the global market uncertainty so it is very difficult to build a project this year ...

That might be enoughr cause for peolpe or any developer to stop developing their project but if they were raising money from ICO or IEO then decides that their project stopped midway because insufficient fund then that team behind the project is messed up.
When a project demand or raising money from people or investor and failed to deliver the promise they keep saying earlier in the first phase then they are as bad as liar. I mean, they should have clear planning about their financial condition and if the money raised weren't enough for their plan then they should stop the fundraising instead of keep going and making people lose money.

This problem is actually because most of the cryptocurrency-based projects are based on the assumptions that are written in detail in the Whitepaper, but they don't have the experience needed in fighting competitors.

The majority of investments in crypto are used to build new projects, and only a few use the investment to develop existing projects. Meanwhile, the thing that most investors like is if the developer and the team already have a market, already have regular customers and have limitations in handling the company, where they really need the role of investors to develop resources to meet the needs of many buyers.

I really like the reason given here as they are realistic and really puts into perspective what the projects really encounter and experience on a daily basis. I really consider these projects as crowdfunding projects where they will create a coin and entice investors to buy participate on their project and be able to invest on their coin. These factors really gives these projects the make or break moments. When the project is mismanaged then it the project is simply doomed to fail.

Let me tell you something, those people are not really serious when it comes to their created project the reasons can be categories up to 3 categories.

1. they don't have enough budget to pursue their vision about their project.
2. They don't have enough people to support them ( Those who know the crypto market and so on so forth).
3. The project is not real or they just been created for the sake of scamming the crypto investors. (Pump and Dump coins)

As well they were asked hunters for a passport to KYC for token distribution and after then when hunters submitted the passport and probably two days later they had told us that they were shutting the project due to some of the reasons and they would provide early investor money withing few days and in the bounty hunters gets nothing for their four weeks work. So this is a very obvious thing in crypto for a project to get shut or remain unfinished.

Basically they got a lot of money, enjoy the millionaire's life but after a few months or so will realize that they have to perform. But since they already have the money, the coin/token is in exchanges and community is there to keep the buzz alive, they will come to a point that most of the projects that they posted during the ICO are not profitable, not technically possible or they don't have the talented people to keep the projects going. Then why not just "Drop it while it's hot".

You should know that that is the real plan of their project. At first, they started well, but after a few days, they stopped the project. There are many reasons behind this. For example, if the project is not successful or if the project is run by bad people. Even if there is project fraud, it will disappear after a few days.

and in most cases, once the dev team collected the money from naive buyers, they disappear without a trace...because thats their main goal, to screw users. and if they are anon team, no one can chase after them because they got away with the money without any identities left behind.
so yeah, most dev teams stop because they dont have good intentions in the first place. how many coins have you seen to be pnd in the market? countless, right?
and for those who have genuine mission, they still failed because they lack funds to proceed. very few can indeed move forward in crypto space. this is why we are seeing a lot of worthless coins and tokens.

the lack of trust in the investor or user is due to their treatment. sometimes they are forced to stop the project they build because of the absence of users. sometimes they too lose in competition or are influenced by greed. well, many factors can cause a project to stop.

Cryptoworld is getting expansive, impacts and association is starting to play on the victory of most ventures. It'll be troublesome in this unused period of crypto startup to know nobody and think you'll be able make a progress. Looking for speculators, cleaning your extend thought, collaborating and trade posting are generally due to impacts. Mainly of the new projects are supported and backed by existing ventures, you'll do your investigate on that, which may play a portion for a whereas on fruitful new businesses.

improper planning, lack of funds or some unforeseen circumstances and sometimes greed of the project owners, some people may start a project but fail to put into consideration all the possibilities that could hinder the growth of the project, while some people are just too greedy and never have the intention to further develop the project, they only launch the project to set a trap for investors.

Many crypto projects today have to work with normal business to succeed and ain't like the old solo way. This leading to crypto being affected by the flow of business as well. For example, like this project, YOUC have to halt their progress.
⏱ YOUapp publication postponed!

Due to the pandemic situation in the world, and the still existing and extended lock-downs, many of our customers and shops are affected by the closure. Therefore, it would not make sense to publish it at the given time, as parts of the app cannot be used by most businesses and users at the moment. Stay tuned for updates!

There are several factors that can be responsible for such. Internal crisis, such as greed within the team on profit sharing or lack of fund to continue the project. Some projects need fund from the onset to make it a reality. When they do not have such,  there is nothing they can do than to quit.

there are all kinds of reasons about it especially none other than the SCAMS BOUNTY. Lots of projects from the past have failed, as a result of unregulated industries. Investors have no protection and criminals can easily get away with the money. Every day many fake projects appear and it is difficult to evaluate whether they are real or not.

Guess it's the reason that until now and then investments from new people are rarely much seen. I was hoping that different scenarios will take place and all the scam projects will be gone. But for some reason I still see s me projects failing to meet the demands of the people. Surely there will be a time when all we will be taken care of.

So many reasons why people stop their project. Lack of uniqueness that makes people to invest in their project,  out of funds, cannot compete with other project and others. Also investors these days are wise enough not to invest without real product they offer.

Hi,

In my experience when starting a cryptocurrency project, you have the following points to consider.

1.- Economic budget to solve a project that may take between one or two years to develop (financial planning)
2.- Experience in the technological proposal that is offered. (selected team 100% committed)
3.- Have a clear roadmap of where you want to go and which focus users will be offered.
4.- Be honest, ethical and aware of economic and business risks.
5.- Present results in order to measure progress. (something what can be measured, can be evaluated).
6.- Give confidence and absolute communication to the investor and user (Trust in these projects is the most important thing), again giving results according to your proposed roadmap.
7.- If there is any change in the roadmap that is to improve, not to limit or cut any characteristic of the original project.
8.- The proposal should not only focus on economics, have a global focus, a global benefit to the world population. (We are born to share knowledge, this is by nature).
9.- ICOs must be measurable and controlled in their assets, know where and so that they will be clearly used and audited by an external entity.
10.- When someone creates something unique with passion, dedication and continuously gives results, the success rate grows.
11.- This last point helps, but it is not necessarily fulfilled (Having a person or people recognized in the community in the cryptocurrency area on the team) give you a background of trust and achievement of proposed goals.

Finally, all of the above does not give 100% security of success in a Cryto project, however it gives you and brings you closer to having it.

All of the above is whether the project proposal is serious and trustworthy. If it does not meet the minimum aforementioned, it may just be a scam.

Regards,

Some crypto projecr maybe stopped because they does not really have good concept or the concept doe not accepted by our community. Also there are project running out of money because they did not get enough ICO does not succeed.
For example :
They need $10million and when they did an ICO they only get $6million but they still try to run yhe development.

The reason for shutting down the crypto project is that they need no experience with crypto and are shutting down the crypto project at a loss. ICO projects haven't any reliability they're not giving any reward reciprocally for his or her work and albeit they are doing give cryptocurrency project is little. there's no value within the market thanks to which many traders are losing this stuff and leaving these projects. i feel that if you spend money by analyzing the market well cryptocurrency project are going to be possible to scale back your losses and find opportunities to form money.

If we examine it for concrete reasons, there are actually not only two, but there are several reasons that make the project eventually die, firstly because of a lack of money, secondly they want to deceive a lot of people, third because the team's performance is not in line with existing ideas in road maps, etc.

This is the reality of crypto-world wherein nothing is definite especially for mostly new and developing project. Some of these new project show potential and very promising but because of the community's support they tend to stop and suspend it due to mostly financial difficulties. Another reason is there are new project that is only intended to get some funds from the investors and then will runaway without any notice, these project as scam/fraud projects.

Many developer stop and abandonned their project but most of the project is failed or not potential so it is still useless if they continue their project.

Other reasons why they abandonning their project because they are scammer after they collect the funds they run and never comeback again and the investors lost their capital.

A lot of projects now so be careful of which among them you will trust because there is only two possible to happen is either you lose or you earn money.

People don't just abandon what will fetch them money and benefit other people(users, investors) I think people abandon projects because they already believe it will be another failed project. Secondly, they abandon projects because they are scammers, it is what they do.
So we need to be careful when entering or buying into these new projects coming out everyday.

Cryptocurrency startups can have much higher profitability than regular companies. Not all of them "work", but this is normal. In my opinion, if 3 out of 10 projects are sold, this is a good indicator. The main thing is that those that sold out, showed a return on the entire portfolio and returned the entire amount of investment with a profit.

The Crypto market has always been getting this type of news. Behind their suspension is they had failed to inspire investors in creating projects. That project cannot be a trusted merchant in the cryptocurrency trading market. That's why the managers have tried to launch their business by ICO. I'm not blaming ICO but I would love to amend them about their inspirational terms. That's it. On the other hand, the market tend has been changed to Defi and those projects were not ready to go with the Defi platform, therefore, they are literally stopped.

At the long run, the project become inactive.

A few projects have intriguing use cases however over the long haul the group gets drained for one explanation or the other, generally in light of the fact that absence of premium on their project, this is the reason its significant for designers to think of uncommon and helpful thoughts, not simply some utilization cases that investors have seen many time previously

there are numerous projects in 2017 that was advertised as the following enormous thing however are dead in the water now, a portion of these projects just found out about the fact that it is so natural to fund-raise from ICO and they misuse the avarice in the space, much the same as what's going on in DEFI space now, all you require is to add some extravagant words to your projects and individuals come calling

The significant motivation behind why we see so many failed cryptocurrency projects is  in light of the fact that many developers and project heads are unable to oversee and develops their projects very well that investors lost their premium partaking and investing their cash. In contrast to different projects, they constantly building up their project to make it more effective to draw in more investors and to have a good worth in the crypto market.

Why do many developers leave the projects mid-way perhaps for many reasons because teams on the project that are less united or projects that run poorly on purpose perhaps halfway down the road are short on funds that have to be cut off or marketing targets that have to be off-site or even start to fake things or they know that they have no future Also quit because they had earned money from the project and probably much more to stop the developers

It is as simple as the project is a scam! They already got the investors money so definitely they could run away with it leaving the project dead.
So for me your idea is not valid. Progress a certain project wouldn't stop only because their goal is not achieve. Because if you have a project, and you truly believe in it, even bankruptcy won't stop you continuing its development. No reasons or anything. Lol.

Agree, the project does not meet the basic requirements and stops only to avoid further losses but compensates the investor almost zero, this is just the kind of scam project activity because when we have the enthusiasm and expectation of a project, we will do better, with capital and technology difficulties, a lot of professionals can deal with as long as our project demonstrates its full potential. Investors are always willing to accept an apology and a low compensation but they don't accept silent projects and embrace their money and disappear, the reasons were just trying to justify the project's helplessness and lack of morality

Actually people would not invest if they don't believe on the project's potential, the problem is the team, their lack of effort to make the project successful or maybe from the start they really don't have a plan to make it a successful project instead just to scam people's money.

There are many things that cause the crypto project to stop halfway through and usually such projects do not get strong support financially so that the team will find it very difficult to develop the project later so that inevitably the team has to stop the project, the main factor that causes the project to stop working :  There was a split in the team, their sales did not reach the target, they had a small community and of course there was no trust from investors or angel investors to support the project.

In my opinion, there are many reasons why projects fail. But most of the time, I think it has mostly has something do to with management of the project. It is like running a business. You need a product, and that product you need to develop, advertise and distribute. Crypto is like a crowdfunding project for them so they could get the necessary funds for their business by making a coin or token then selling it to the market. If there's no investors, the project might be shelved and move on to new things. If the management is not good and mismanagement occurs, then that is a bad sign and the company will close.

There are alot of good reasons why a crypto project stops half way, during the early stage if they are unable to raise the required amount or reach their soft cap, projects like that easily fail because the devs don't have the money required to go on with the project development, although most times projects that stop half ways are scam projects, and the devs/scammers just want to run away with the money they were able to raise from the investors, cause that's what they always do.

That's most and seriously speaking that's really annoying.

There are still investors who hope to get the chance of finding the good project that will bring them huge profits, project that have the same pump as before, only to find out that the dev are jut lurking and alluring those targets to get the money and runaway. Only slight chance that the team are really intending to develop but lack of money and support and there's no other option but to quit and stop.

a project team need to improve their project, but because they do not believe with their project , they will not doing that buddy
and there is no support from the community, so they stop their project
Usually it's the lack of community support that really demotivates them and bring their project down, just imagine all your hard work and sweat goes to waste just because there's no community that supports you and become your customer in the future when the project is ready, that's why community support is crucial, not to mention that a project that has no active community usually being dismissed or being looked down as a failed project. Building community is, after all very crucial for the life of a project

I think There are not a particular explanation I presume. A few projects left due to project's inner issue or they weren’t really ready , absence of thought, not experience group the board, absence of likely arrangement and so on Indeed, even a few projects are start for fund-raised and after that they left their project. I saw some project stop their work due to legitimateness likewise so there will be numerous foundations for that. And only real projects with real working products survive in the crypto world

There are a lot of reason crypto project abandoned, for example : lack of developer skill and the team can not find the good developer which would participatted in the development. Another reason is always money, if some project can not gather the fund and the ceo or founder have not good programming skill. There is a big chance the project will be abandoned, thats why i love student coin, 1. It is already collected 15million dollar, 2 the developer supporter is from well known University.

Also mind off about new trend that do pops out on a specific period of time just like what happened on ICO,IEO,DeFi and so on which i dont see any relevancies for their existence on the first place

but somehow there are really some worthy projects that you can invest on but finding that one would be the toughest challenge of all. When it comes to those developers on stopping their crypto project

then most of them are indeed just trying to suck up peoples money and once busted then they would just simply scam and create another one.

If it is reasonable, we have to agree with the decision. But they should send back the investor's funds, if then the project is really stopped. The team project also needs to announce it officially. If the developer do it, I think we should respect the developers.

those who are serious and honest when stopping their project will of course do the way you say.
the problem is usually triggered by internal problems from the development team. there are also related to finances that they can no longer handle. and when the problem is financial problems, many of them run away and are irresponsible.

Developers have reasons to suspend projects that they have run for reasons of the market situation and the lack of interest from investors in new projects, failure to achieve the soft caps they are targeting can temporarily stop the project until the developers get the funds they are targeting to develop projects with minimal funds.
but if the project is terminated without notification it will have negative effects for the continuation of the project, and many people will be harmed, so that when the project is continued, many people will doubt because of the unilateral decisions that were taken.

It is easy to determine why a project does not continue to be developed or in other words becomes unsuccessful as others say there is a lack of funds and the second is that there is no expert skilled for their project and another reason is that there is no investor so hard to make or build a project I can't complete the components.

Nope, it's not as easy as you say. Lack of funds is the worse excuse too. Bitcoin didn't need funds to develop in the first place and any new project should also not ask for money to make initial development. ICOs proved this funding for devs was false also!

The second reason is true though. Not enough talent and all the best ones already have great jobs.

Impossible thing to happen because 99% of them would just simply say that they stopped but havent giving out those investors funds and scam it right away. Most of them would just
push through on the project launch and make out some tokens but still ending up on having no value and just leaving those investors in the air.Somehow there are project owners/developers
which did really return out those funds into those person who do invest intially which is really a rare case scenario and doesnt happen from time to time.

The thing is, most of these projects do not come from an idea of "lets improve upon the world", bitcoin was like that, it was created because satoshi nakamoto saw a big gap in the world of finance and created the perfect currency, it wasn't supposed to be even like this, it suppose to be a currency that people spend everywhere, that is the ideal point it should reach, whereas we are in a world where people buy and hold it (I do too) to make more money.

Nowadays though there is nobody that does that, there is people who just buy and sell, and the new projects come out looking for money as well. I have been part of many many different projects and one that was huge, and I can tell you that it doesn't take 1 dollar to build a new coin if you know what you are doing, of course it requires a lot of talented people to get together but that is what it should have been about anyway.

Most? I would say all actually, with the exception of very very few. I think people trying to improve the world are few and crypto, really isn't filled with such people. Even I would admit if I did a project it wouldn't be to change the world or make it better, it would be to profit from it. Projects don't want to admit that but they really should.

It is called exit scam  ;D ;D

I have seen many great , seemingly legitamte projects slowly fade and die . Most likley it is their plan to seem like they are working just to take their raised funds and leave.
The project team are the one who get benefits to the project because they get a lot of coins very cheap and once the project are successful they sold their assets they have and they get a lot of profit and they abandoned the project and the investors who are the one suffering for decreasing the value of the coins or no improvement happening because people will not invest to the project that the time was already left.

Every project that is terminated there must be some reason, we do not fully understand why it was done, maybe the team that worked inconsistently in developing the project or it could be that the team members who ran away were irresponsible, in cryptocurrency there are also many large payment modes so they are unable to manage in the end stop or are suspended suddenly we just take the positive one, maybe there are problems or errors in development so we have to be more careful before supporting a new project that appears

A large portion of this happens just in scamming purposes project. Indeed, even effectively finishing the deal, it will normal like popping bubble it would vanish in a matter of moments in light of the fact that the project has no critical utility. All duplicate and glue features from the fruitful ones, that is the reason its critical to consistently do your broad exploration. Its OK to take risks on good projects, yet it will be imprudent to face challenge on an ineffectively investigated project

the biggest reason was that the project was less popular and underfunded. and the other reason is that they were a scam project from the start. this is the main problem of the new project at this time. So it's best not to invest in new projects just doing development, because projects like this are very often stopped.

Most project developers stop the project not without reason, they do it mostly because the softcap that was targeted in collecting the presale / sale project has not been achieved, because it has exceeded the sale coin project time and still has not reached the softcap, then the project has to be stopped

I listened to interview with the guy who has crypto project. He said that the first reason is money.
  • Money turn your head. If you are not a business expert, you have a very big chance that you put money in a wrong way. Also investors with a large share of shares push you to make money, not to create project
  • Motivation is the second problem. Too much or little money decreasing it. With little money your MVP is chipper and it can't compete similar products. And with much money you pay more than need and sometimes it ends at the end of the path.
  • A lot of project just SCAM.

things like this are certainly an act of cheating that is detrimental to us, but we also have to look from the direction of the developer because not everything that the project is doing is a scam but maybe in terms of the shortcomings of the most important enthusiasts. when they run something, of course, the expectation will get a profit and many investors will participate, but if there is a lack of enthusiasts, it is not the profit that will be obtained but the opposite.
If it's a scam project, of course I don't need to write it again because now there are so many scam projects that are rampant

Sometimes there are personal matter that comes in every business , I have been in the same situation before that we tend to make a business with complete package with my partner , but in the end because we have some differences in our decisions and style? we decided to give up the business and proceed to our own life.
this is what happens in some projects here and we cannot blame them from their decisions.

in most cases, there may not be a favorable response from their market. especially if a new project is just listed on the market. Several new projects in 2018 have claimed success but are unable to carry out their projects. some have just walked for a while and then died. some have entered the market but cannot compete with other products that have the same concept.

There are several reasons why developers leave a project, one of which is because the project has been indicated as a scam and there are disadvantages if it continues. therefore both the developer and the bounty must be really careful in choosing a project so as not to make a loss. a project can be seen as good if the team is professional and the project concept is also good. that's what I usually see before participating in an ICO.

Welcome to the world of cryptocurrency friends, many scam projects have sprung up even with fantastic coin allocation budgets that could be just a trick to trap investors into a trap, because not many developers are willing to return the assets you already have when a project is permanently terminated. suddenly, and this is usually triggered by internal problems from the developer and of course financial related, if this financial problem they can't handle, many developers run away and let go of responsibility for the projects they have created.

I don't think they're going to stop it even though the market conditions are very bad these days, I think they're delaying the list of exchanges, distributions, and the market is starting well. I'm sure their work process remains on the road.
