Title: WHAT TYPE OF CRYPTO INVESTOR ARE YOU?
Post by: hassancisse on August 19, 2020, 09:04:14 AM
There are different types of investors with varying priorities goals, habits, and tolerance of risk. Read this thread to know the type of crypto investor you are.

1. Newbie: In any industry you must first be a newbie before you become a pro. To get started with crypto you need a little capital to start. This group include those with a little or no knowledge about the crypto industry but eager to seek to diversify their investments into new high risk assets that offer a good return

2. Crypto Enthusiast: Like a newbie, the crypto enthusiast joined the market not long ago and still doesnt have enough knowledge about the crypto industry although he has built a diversified portfolio which he checks their performance everyday.

3. Hodler: They are people who will rather hold any crypto no matter the ups and down they believe one day it will get to their desired price

4. Early Adopter: The early adopter are people who got into bitcoin when it was less than $100 about some few years ago. At that time everyone thought bitcoin was a scam but they took the courage to buy some because they believed in the technology.

5. Professional Trader: These guys have seen crypto trading as a part time or full time job. They dont have concern with holding cryptos for a long time. Their main and only goal is short term profits.

What type of investor are you? Im definitely an HODLER

I am more like low frequency trader who tries to trade only big swings, so basically investor. I would say hodler but i don't just hold to the exit target, i try to accumulate more and occasionally watch 1d candles to trade channels and swings.

After trying to be a expert crypto trader I've end up losing too many money, I don't have interest in trying out my luck with crypto projects anymore, I'm going fully into top 10 coins on coinmarketcap, crypto can change your life and it can also ruin your life, whatever risk you plan to take always use limited money

I am 2, 3, and 4! And I believe that most of us here are these 3, with 5 it's just for the people who really makes profit with
trading, and doing that professionally, and there aren't many of them.

 2. Crypto Enthusiast: Because I believe in the future of crypto-currencies, and I believe that one day crypto-currencies will
rule the world.
 3. Hodler: I hold for years already, and I don't intent to quit any time soon. I plan to add more, to accumulate more for the future.
 4. Early Adopter: In some way we are all early adopters. Crypto-market in only 10 years old, and only Bitcoin is that old, all other
crypto-currencies are younger and this is their early time.

I am both holder and trader but it does with the circumstances. At the beginning of my trading i tried to invest into a coin by seeing the token price but at present time i do investment into a coin with an update from team or seeing the roadmap. I think this is very helpful to gain profit from a coin.

At the same time i also hold a token when i can buy a token in low price and that has bright future such like CUR token. It was unbelievable that CUR token will hit 3$ but it does and like me somebody take that chance in low prices buying. Only 2 million token that is the big fact here.

So i think hold and trade both are essential for a crypto lover.

thanks.

In my opinion, true crypto enthusiast would be very excited about different other things in Crypto space, and not just trading or the monetary aspect. The technologies and their fundamentals should be enough to excite a true enthusiast.
So I guess you can just call those you described under "Crypto Enthusiast"  as, maybe "Crypto trading Enthusiast".
I've always seen my self as crypto enthusiast, but not that "too interested" in trading(maybe due to time).

I'm both hodler and Eary Adopter since I'm very active in bounty campaign I can see the development of a project in it's earlier stages and from then I can have the option to be its early adopter, and I'm also a hodler I prefer it that way because it's too time-consuming to be a trader so I prefer to research on coins that are worth hodling for a long time.

I would still call myself a newbie. Afterall ive never went out of my way to invest with my real money to buy coins, i got my coins from a project that was just introduced to me by a friend. Im still trying to get a feel of this trading business.

HODLER. My motto is buy cheap and sell high in a couple of years. This strategy has worked very well over the last eight years. The key is to know when to buy and not to being afraid of volatile markets. There are always phases of depression where nobody thinks that crypto has a future. This is the perfect sign to buy as it was in 2014, 2015 and 2019. Now having a good bag of cheap 2019 coins I have a good gain since then. The market can crush down 70% and I am still slightly in profit. Same to my coins from 2014 and 2015 which I partly sold in 2017. I hold the rest which has still a good profit.

I do not agree with you. I am a crypto enthusiast and holder at the same time. If I wasn´t a true enthusiast, I will sell all my cryptocurrencies in times of depression when Bitcoin traded for 3000USD because I would be under pressure that cryptocurrencies do not have a bright future.

I am a hodler too as i am just holding mostly btc and eth and sometimes other promising coins as well, I am not doing active or day trading because it is stressful and also you have to keep checking the charts all the time which is not my type of thing at the moment.

I think I can fit on #3.

Since I hold a lot of coins, (many dead sh!tcoins) I can say I am a hodler since 2016. I still have (Nani) XRB from the initial airdrop.

I don't spend any of my coins since I have a good paid sallary (for my country) and I made from crypto a retirement fund, I take and hold anything I can get from mining, bounties, services etc.

I think numbers 2 and 3 suit me. I really don't have enough knowledge about the crypto industry, but I'm undoubtedly an enthusiast in this area. And that's why I believe in many projects and keep their coins. Hence the third point - I'm a hodler.

I am not 1,2 and 4 and I cannot exactly relate myself to be 3 because I tend to sell my assets whenever I have reached a certain profit target. I can be termed as a casual trader/Hodler I generally accumulate and sell. I never tried to be a professional trader as I do not think it is possible for me to take that kind of a risk.

I don't have too much time to spend on this market, every day I can only focus on it for about 2-3 hours. So it is too difficult to be a professional trader, I choose holder because it is suitable for me. Just buy the best altcoins and wait for the profits to come from them

I like daily trading and took profit from daily trading. Its need proper knowledge and research for Daily trading. You need prepare yourself for live update, events, news regarding altcoin you wanted to trade because if you are not prepared yourself then you can loose your fund. Their are many exchanges who provided high leverage trading which is very risky. So you need to be active if you are trading in future. I usually took profit time to time. If I made 100 dollars profit then I put 50 dollars in btc for long term and 50 dollars withdraw for my daily expenses.

I think the method you described is very correct and indeed for traders, they must be able to use the same method as you described because that way the trading capital they have will not run out and will always have the opportunity to make a profit withdrawal even though trading cannot provide guarantee always profit.

I was not a great investor and to be honest back in 2017 i chased a lot of shiny looking icos and made huge loses and then i learnt that hodling good coins is enough because low quality projects and coins are risky and you may lose it all while top coins will yield good returns slowly but surely.

To restrict or stamp investors into singular heads is an impossible task, for i think all of us at some point have been one or the other or some together at the same time. At least for me all of them apply, and i believe a crypto enthusiast covers just about all of them.

I have been here for almost a year but I think I still at number 1 in the choices. I am still newbie because emotions get me overflowed every btc and other crypto market price falls down. This is my problem ever since I join investing in cryptocurrency. However, sometimes I may get lucky because I am a short term holder and every time crypto making greens indicator for an  increase and selling it then later on I will found out that crypto market price falls down to which if I will buy again and increase my crypto.

I'll say my position cut across newbie, crypto enthusiast and holder. I have this belief that we never stop learning, especially in the cryptocurrency space where obsolescence is a norm and various technologies are discovered daily and brought into limelight. One needs to be informed to make the most out of the space and that can only be derived when you're enthusiastic about the industry.

I'm yet to even start investing in cryptocurrency, I'm still finding my feet and taking advantage of bounties to earn some tokens which may usher me into the space. This makes me more of a Novice according to your standard and I'm only investing my time and effort in the space. I guess that's still a level of investment.

I belong to all. Most of the time, i buy some ICOs even though they are too risky, I just try to invest in them in small amounts. I fomo too only if there is a fundamental news like when a alt listed on coinbase exchange, I jump in some hype coins like DEFI for little gain and sale within some hours.

The best I have enjoyed so far is buying early as investor.

After losing a lot to icos and useless coins and projects I have come to the point that staying in btc or eth is the best longterm strategy. Yes there are good alts and you should take aggressive approach and enter when you see good entry but keeping your majority portfolio in btc or eth will save you in all markets.

you didn't list number 6. a shitcoiner.

to which i'm one. no one hold shitcoins here but me?  they all are still in my ether wallet and not even listed to any exchange.

its the holders that actually earn money the most during the bullrun. when one altcoin they hold rise up with about $5 each, they can profit big with it already. its a long wait though but its true that users who did try to hold some tokens in the past bullrun did make a lot of money.

lol . no need to post that category because it will already fall between newbie and hodler  category  . i say newbie because most newbie dont know the coins that are good quality but they will join anything or invest on anything that promise them to pay huge  .

you may not be a newbie anymore but you experience to be a noob before , thats why you still have those type of coins but you can be a hodler now  .

In your list, I am number 3. I am holder and that too for somewhat medium to long term. I believe by holding, or accumulating at lower prices, may get better benefits than the trading of cryptocurrencies. Also, we need to ensure diversity in our investment to keep ourselves away from too many losses.

I fall under two categories of crypto investors as pointed out by OP; crypto trader and holder. Crypto trader because I do short term and mid term trading, and also holder because I hold BTC and ETH including few altcoins for very long term. I think being a trader has paid me more, even though I'm a part time trader with an offline job.

It actually requires some level of patience and that is one of the hardest virtues to find in the space. There are times that you might be holding a gem, which usually is meant for the long term, but just because you want a quick bulk and with a slight increase in price, you quickly sell off. It requires some level of discipline as well. Most especially when you tell yourself, this is what i am going to do and you stick to your plans.

but sometimes there are types of investors who should be newbies but insist on being a professional in order to get profits quickly. this must be avoided because it will be detrimental. science skills do not match the pattern of being professional and that makes them work less optimally

I think if you want to always get money then all you have to do is keep running short-term trading because if you use a long-term trading method it will only give you a longer profit process because you have to wait until the cryptocurrency price becomes expensive and on target, while trading short term has a gap of 5-10% profit is enough with very much profitable capital will provide many benefits.

I think I can fit on #3.

Since I hold a lot of coins, (many dead sh!tcoins) I can say I am a hodler since 2016. I still have (Nani) XRB from the initial airdrop.

I don't spend any of my coins since I have a good paid sallary (for my country) and I made from crypto a retirement fund, I take and hold anything I can get from mining, bounties, services etc.

ahaha #3 ahaha ...
don't lie , crying othell_rogue , damn you're totally #0 - lice of dead investors as you're stating bold fake facts on all threads you don't like. Achtung! this lice will bite & shit with it's twins anywhere he goes ('invests')

I cant pick on your choices. But I am closer to being an holder. I cant considered my self as newbie cause I know how to make strategy and even do nice trades. But Im not qualified with the professional holders when you say expert is big word. I thought you can say that, but thats applicable to only traders that can analyze well the market.

Most of the Holders are also occasional traders who may sell and buy cryptos when their goal is reached who are similar to crypto enthusiasts but not going to hold the cryptos forever if they call themselves as an investor.I am also one of that kind, me to sell parts of cryptos when the pries gets hiked and will buy again at more cheaper price.

I'm honestly none of the choices you stated in your post lol, my behaviour depends on my analysis and sometimes on my own feelings. I care about hodling some tokens and coins sometimes and i do it but i might dump anytime, it's all related to my analysis and my doubts/feelings as i stated so i don't belong to the "hodlers".
I'm more of a professional trader than a newbie, i don't trade always, i use a good capital and my work depends really on doing graphical analysis, reading the news and collecting as much infos as possible before any movement.

I still need to learn and practice more to know how to analyze better because I think that learn trading will need more time to become a pro. I know that sometimes I make a mistake in analyzing the market and the price, but I don't want to give up because I still want to make more profit.

Now I am an early adopter, hopefully next year I can become a professional trader. Now I am studying the best trading strategy,
in order to consistently generate profit. It doesn't matter the profit I make is small, as long as it is every day can make a profit.

Since becoming a housewife, I can't trade as focused as when I was alone, being a HODLER and hoping that one day these assets will go up isn't bad, it's proven that some of the assets I bought months ago have gone up by a few percent and even some are up 300% that is ETH.

This is a very good one. Have been an hodler for a very long time and i want to become a professional trader. I want to make profit on a daily basis and not hold coins for years before i can get a good profit on it

you didn't list number 6. a shitcoiner.

to which i'm one. no one hold shitcoins here but me?  they all are still in my ether wallet and not even listed to any exchange.

its the holders that actually earn money the most during the bullrun. when one altcoin they hold rise up with about $5 each, they can profit big with it already. its a long wait though but its true that users who did try to hold some tokens in the past bullrun did make a lot of money.

;D ;D ;D ;D Likewise me i have so many in my wallet. especially some airdrops even coins that were listed on the exchange and even delisted again. its so funny

Lets just say that i am a normal crypto investor, because i get ethusiastics towards new project; i hodl firmly crypto currency tokens when i believe a huge profit is sure after my research work, i buy into project idea early enough and buy early, And more importantly, i trade off my profits and trade to make even further profits too.

I'm still not that successful unlike other people who are investing on crypto.
However, I hope I can become one soon. It's just hard to look for ways to earn money so you can invest on cryptos.
There are a lot of possibilities with cryptos but it's also risky.

I am this kind of investors coins price go down and up and if you are holding good coins with good potential all you have to do is to follow their development and sell them at your expected high price that you set up a goal for these coins, some made triple or tenfold doing this strategy.
It always pays off when you are holding good coins.

I think I am at number 3 now.
Before, I always look at the position of my coins daily but now I just let it be.

If there is a right time to sell then I might do it, but performance base I can still see a lot of support from the coins that I had been holding.
I think that is still a good sign to just keep it.
There is no doubt other investors feels the same way as me as progress is still happening.

I've been in this market for 3 years and I'm still the same holder as I was. Before I got into financial markets, I read Warren Buffett and I admired him. hold is an art, you will learn a lot of good things while holding coin. It helps you to be more patient, lucid and calm than ever. Those qualities can help us with many things that happen in life. As for the trade, I have tried it a few times, but I don't feel suitable for the pressure of trading every day.

I'd classify myself an unlucky one. My first encounter with bitcoin was in late 2012. My first bitcoin purchase was below $250. Kept trading and dealing on bitcoin but didn't holded any significant amount on the price boost. Only realized that I should have kept some during the 2017 bull run. Though I kept on bagging coins after than, my average buy price now stands at about 8.5K. I'm an early adopter without any coins, a holder and a rookie trader.

Since the definition of #2 is applicable for me, I choose that too but in reality I'm a hodler of different coins but a huge percentage of my holdings are in Bitcoin and Ethereum. My portfolio is diversified at least and I'm thinking of investing into another 1 coin again (probably LINK or CRO).

There is every need to analyze the market, point of correction here. If you want to become a successful crypto investor or trader, you need to learn how to analyze the market. A good entry matters a lot, also knowing when to exit matter. For instance, while a friend was calling AERGO scam (of course its a decent project) because he lost about 700$ trading it, I decided to do a top-down analysis on the charts, then with some FA and bought in, I realized about 60%+ profit from that trade and it was cool. Also, Investing long term doesn't necessarily mean you just market buy without seeking for a good entry.

I'm just your hodler.
If people are looking for the best strategy, then it isn't up to what type of hodling they need to do. Sometimes it depends on how much time they got on their hands.
They can day trade if they have the majority of the time in their hands and they can do more profit than holding. I ain't that kind of trader that has most of the time in the world, that's why I quit day trading.
day trading is very difficult and is only suitable for people who have at least 5-10 years of trading experience. If you are new on the market and have been earning in cryptocurrency for 1-2 years, then it is better not to try to trade every day

I was going to say I’m one of the early adopters, but since that is left for those that has been holding Bitcoin before the $100 price, so that makes me a HODLer. The time I started buying and investing in Bitcoin the price was a bit above $250 and after sometime it moved to $300.

The first time I got in, it didn’t take that long before I stopped because of some issues, I sold my bitcoins and after some months I sold, by the time I got back the price was already at $2,000 plus. I even felt kind of discouraged, because I thought it was late, but later made up my mind to just invest the money I have although it wasn’t enough for one Bitcoin, and that’s when I got serious to hold Bitcoin for a long time.

But I am being fed up with too much scam projects on the defi ecosystem. Many people hold long because they want to get a moment like in 2017, meaning that once every 4 years the Crypto price will increase dramatically, or a year after the halving. I personally also believe in this cycle, but you only need to hold coins from good projects, which are in top 1-30.

Im a hodler. For me it is the best strategy to earn in crypto. Why? Because all you have to do is to choose a good coins to hold for long period. However this requires a knowledge in order to choose the right coin that likely to give profit in the future. It take a lot of patience too because the market is moving upside down.

I've been doing this for years and it suits me because I dont need to monitor often the market. Just waiting for a set target price on when im planning to sell.

I would call myself a hodler and an early adopter these two things looks more suitable to me but sometimes I also do trade not like a professional trader but whenever I do trade it ends up with some profit so I think I am an average trader as well but mostly I focus on hodling of some good altcoins to expect good profit.

I think I am more of that #2.  I have created a lot interest in crypto trading, though with just some level of knowledge.  But Knowledge is what we seek on a daily basis, it cannot be too much.  I have also had some experience both good and bad in the industry and get more wisdom daily.

I am not in favour to hold it for a long time, I observed  Bullrun of 2017-2018 and purchased some coins but now value of these coins is near to zero ,so that is why I am holding and expecting greenery like 2017-2018.

I guess, I will be part in Hodler and Early Adopter as I cannot consider myself yet as professional trader as I am struggling in
making better progress in trading.

In holding, I am a very patient person and I really believe the potential of crypto currencies therefore I suit to this one pretty well.

I'm more of a crypto enthusiast and a newbie, even though I've been in the crypto industry for more than 5 years at a time when the crypto value was still worth $ 300, $ 400 I still lacked information on the crypto world. Especially after many new developments in blockchain technology and the presence of more and more altcoins and tokens, so I think the crypto information will never end. I am not a hodler because when I see the price go up then I will sell the crypto that I hold, I'm also not a professional trader which I still lack information and trading skills to make it my main income.

It all depends on the assets we currently have and how well our assets are worth. If it's like BTC and Eth or Top Teen coins / tokens I believe the 2 options to choose are short-term investments and long-term investments. This applies to both Hodler or traders by choosing familiar Exchange and has fast turnaround with  read current market conditions.
well I really agree with you, if you want to make a long-term investment then the best option is to buy a coin that has a limited supply such as bitcoin and can be used for many transactions so that it will provide many transactions and the price will be expensive so anyone who invests in bitcoin when the price goes up will get a lot of profit.

invest will not always in money, every effort that we spend to help project successfull could mentioned as investment too. helping by joining in bounty campaign will have same value with investors that use their money.we do our job for several weeks or months and hoefully we will get worthed reward after campaign finished.

There are many ways to invest and money is not the only way to invest, maybe when you have expertise such as in the field of promotion and others, you can offer yourself to promote on the project with a certain agreement so that you will get the results of the project being developed when it works.

I think I was a holder. I don't have much time spend on crypto so I take up the role nicely. Just check and follow crypto news related to the coin I hold and that it. Have centain price on my mind already and wishing it will come true for a few years for my bag.
just like me, I am also a holder, My busy work in the real world and my little capital made me unable to become a professional trader or an early adopter.

being a holder makes me calm a little and will only sell when the price goes up or when I need it.

If you have a lot of money, then you can move according to your strategy, but as a rule, such projects are a very long-term investment and cannot provide an opportunity to speculate on prices. I prefer to earn a large profit in a short time

I like to hold. And hold a lots of coins over this time. But when I see trade opportunities I go for that. I don't have that much knowledge in trading so follow calls from others. But not much.

I can't put myself in any of the categories. I have been in the crypto market for a long time. I managed to earn a lot of money, and then lose some of it on investing in high-risk tokens. Now I am seeing a new dawn of various projects similar to those that were at the time of my money losses. And I would like to warn especially experienced investors against investing in the wave of hype.

3. Hodler

I never thought I had hodl many tokens from the bounties that I joined, some made money, some didn't. But it's a fun thing when we can hodl tokens for free without having to buy them. But I have reduced that and did more useful things.

Maybe now I am the holder, because I can fully control the chart at any time, so it is better to hold it than to do day trading.
maybe you will try to become a professional trader if it's time, yes, start with doing analysis in a short time then do it gradually to get used to it and be comfortable doing it.

I am a holder but I somewhat started early 2012 but I was a fresh grad and had no money to invest in crypto at that time. Since then I started earning crypto and started putting my savings on crypto whenever the price is favorable. I have seen the bull run last 2017 and way before that I believed that crypto has a huge potential. I watched the market grow and had been part of some of good projects since I had joined in this forum.

I think investing in cryptocurrencies would really depend on how a person is willing to spend his money, his time, his energies, to the procurement of coins and tokens that he will be saving for future trade. If a person has the know how and the street smarts to the ins and outs of the trading and has a network of acquaintances that shares cryptocurrency information that they can use, then it would be advantageous on their end to be able to make good investing decisions based on the information they get. But I am a day trader, and I want to trade daily and earn daily. We face risks everyday and that is something that every cryptocurrency investor should have, willingness to face risks.

I may be an early adopter too because i was here already quite a long time and i have seen how the market turns into bullish and then bearish and keeps on repeating its cycle knowing the fact that the crypto price keeps on fluctuating.

Yes, I am a HODLER too,
pick one of the top 100 based market caps then wait until the price rising, usually, I buy on a bearish situation
Of course, being a holder has a big enough risk if the alt coins that we hold so far have experienced a drastic drop in price and of course the big risk also gives hope for big profits as well because buying alt coins at a cheap price and holding them for sale when the price increases which is quite high, but as you say of course we also have to be good at reading charts and the price situation that is happening in the market so that we can decide the right time when to buy or sell and there are times when alt coins that are not included in the top 100 can provide we benefit if we are good at exploiting the price situation.

until now I have invested in crypto using the capital I got from bounty Even then didn't invest a lot only in small amounts and coins that have good potential, I prefer to buy new coins because it is more likely to increase them many times

The challenge about new coin is that it is not easy to predict if it is going to come back after the bear. Most new coins don't get back to ICO price. It is really a good way to invest if on a good project. Dia and cartesi have been good after listing. So a lucky buyer will have a good story on them.

And how do you determine whether the current situation is bearish for the coin or not? After all, you may think that the price is at the bottom, but in fact it will be a plateau before the next price drop.

Let me answer this question: There is always another dip point of dip that you think is the last destination coin price ever can visit unless the price is zero. Indeed, catching the bottom is like playing with fire, no one ever can guarantee the bottom is here or there. There can be many events that can change everything we think about the project or altcoins, being careful, and investing wisely is the only safety measurement.

investing wisely is the best choice. be careful in choosing assets. sometimes when assessing projects and overconfidence it can make us forget something that can bury our hopes. falling conditions sometimes tempt us to immediately fill our bags with very cheap assets. but sometimes, they will not rise according to our hopes and predictions.

in fact, the potential for early adoption is quite lucrative. it's just that, the choice of the project that we choose needs to be really precise in its development. however, so far I've only been the type to hold coins in the long run.

I think I am a hodler type of investor, because I hold a lot of crypto coin that don't have a price yet or even I like to buy crypto whose price is dropping a lot to be used as an investment and hold it, because I hope the price will increase very high and of course it will give me a very big profit and make me rich.

All roads are risky, we must be careful. So to reduce the bad risk we have to be really mature and sure to take action, do a long research if there are still doubts, studying with previous people who already have a lot of experience, it's better not to rush to take action

I am hodler. I know that you can make way more profit as a trader who actively buys the dips and sells the tops, but you have also more risk there and i just don't have the time for that.
Another reason is i would have to pay taxes for every coin/token i sell that i didn't hold for at least 1 year so thats another reason, i don't want to make my tax declaration more complicated than it already is.
But it's also dangerous to fall in love with your coin and never sell it.

What coins are you holding bro? At one time, I also hodl a lot of coins, because of this I received a decent loss. Now I act differently.

I am Hodler. Because I am not very good at trading and identifying new projects so I think the safest way is to be a Hodler. For Hodlers patience is the main thing, while waiting for me to make another earning from another fields, in the crypto world I am more inclined to bounties to find additional income.
Are we talking altcoins, right? Alts that are which are most of them can't sustain prices for a very long time. If that's the case then I think hodling i the bet thing you can do. You know, you might miss the boat anytime and can't sell on the best price thus lose profits sooner or later. The less you act, the more risk you are facing dude. But if your coins are the same as old as eth then maybe I can put a consideration since they are more stable. Nonetheless, learn daytrading because that's better :).

Another member of the holder army here. I tried being a day trader back in 2017 but it was way too stressful, especially when the price action of the coin didn't follow the expected pattern of TA. So now I try to sniff out promising projects and hodl them thorough pain and glory.

I hope you don't hold the coins you bought back in 2017. They should have been sold long ago.  8)
For all this time, I have become convinced that long-term hodl of coins rarely brings profit. As a rule, it is clear within a month or two whether a new coin will grow or not.

I like a variety of top coin investments, I see how the role of the team in developing the project, develop the coin price when on the market, and of course hold for a certain period or at least until the price of the coin has increased.

Taking your opportunities when the coins bring something decent after holding it for some period of time, there's always differences in terms of understanding each project but as long as you are engaged with the project development and with how the developers works around, you'll be able to find the right timing from how you place your entry and exit position.

4. Early Adopter: The early adopter are people who got into bitcoin when it was less than $100 about some few years ago. At that time everyone thought bitcoin was a scam but they took the courage to buy some because they believed in the technology.
...

For me, this is the best option .... It is unfortunately quite risky, but when you enter the project at the beginning of its existence, you have a chance to make a really substantial profit if the project turns out to be profitable ...

Unfortunately, the chances of this are not very high (90% of projects finish before they achieve their goals; - /) but sometimes it's worth taking the risk ....
Nevertheless, I always prefer to devote my  time to already proven projects that rewards with coins that are already on the stock exchanges - thanks to this I diversify the time between proven and very risky projects ...

3. Hodler: They are people who will rather hold any crypto no matter the ups and down they believe one day it will get to their desired price.

Since the year 2018, I am a certified Hodler. I'd like to save and keep cryptos especially when the price is low because my mind is set that it will only be converted into fiat once the desired price is reached. I also love to watch that its price rises so as my profit. But I have also seen the dis-advantage of being hodler. On the year 2018, I am waiting for BTC price to reached $20K. That was already December, I thought it will reached it but on the middle of the month it slowly goes down. I thought it will recover but no. It continue to goes down. Times comes that I needed money, I had no choice. I converted some even though the price is already low. I lost the big profit I've got when it is near $20K

If you buy coins at the maximum prices, you can only get losses. Therefore, I believe that it is important to buy coins exactly when the price of them has fallen. In order to determine the level of prices is sufficient to look at the charts and trading history on the exchanges.

I do not know i fit in any of these categories or not. I like to do a trade but I only trade those type of assets that is also good for long term investment. I buy my desired coin with half of my balance and wait for it to push up. If the market dumps almost 50% I buy more coin with the other half and wait for it to reach break-even or make a small profit so that I can exit the trade.
Actually I'm not fit in any of these categories. Top exchange listed coins, circulating supply is high and when price is low. I haven't supported it for a very long time. Fifty percent investment is a very good idea but you shouldn't invest the whole 50 percent in a single coin. The second quarter next year will be the right time for early adopters or short time holders.

I am definitely a hodler and also early adopter, but the first time i know about Bitcoin is when the price are $750, i believe it was on Q4 2016. But beside of that, I also a day-trader, trading crypto in a daily basis, which is only looking for a little bit percentage of profit, mostly I do it on Binance Futures.

It's very simple, you didn't use the Analytics and experience of previous years. According to all forecasts, bitcoin should have gone down as a natural spab more than a good jump. After all, you bought it at what level of capitalization? So think about how the price will move in the event of a global pandemic, for example. Then you will learn to see the market move and act more intelligently

Correct. By learning you'll be able to make better analysis with crypto project that you'll going to invest. Supporting project
needs lots of knowledge for you to able to anticipate what will be the next good trend and when
will you need to invest our money, good timing also play big role as you'll have the greater chance to make good profits.

If you are aiming for much bigger chance of surviving and earning from this market, good to deal with this and analyze
deeper, time consuming but the outcome is much better than risking without doing your research.

Yes, I am a HODLER too,
pick one of the top 100 based market caps then wait until the price rising, usually, I buy on a bearish situation

Yep, we are the one who decided is dips point or not , the price is usually going up after good news about the partnership, out of mind development updates, and community.
let's just take a look in DOGE price always rise up follows BTC as usual altcoin of course, and Community
that makes DOGE interesting the coin based on a Joke. but yeah, the community really likes it, even Elon Musk the most famous Tech Influencer interested in it.
and do any of you guys look at the last Pump of DOGE?
it was caused by unknown TikTok guys, and yes, the price rises up as hell

no problem holding coins for a relatively long time, so I can reach the sell target I have set. And also I will use some coins that
have a high volume, to be able to make a profit. For now, crypto trading is my full time job, so I will try to make profit from trading,
one of which is to take advantage of the volatile crypto market to get short-term profit.

Holder is the one that I also belong to that category because when you do some research and knows that true potential of that coin is going to be much better in coming time than only holding and buying on the dips is the answer to it. So, I believe in what I buy and accordingly I hold it and have my startegy in place.

If the coin you are holding has become shitcoin, then immediately throw it away and you can use the money from the disposal of that coin to buy better coins at this point, because there are a lot of coins that have the potential at this time and you can check them. on several sites such as on cmc and coingecko.

To all participating in the discussions of this thread might be not a good deal actually to disclose any information regarding on investment. Lucky, that I am aware but it does not mean I am exempted of getting phished out. So, every users must be very careful here at all times.

Anyway, my goal here is to learn how the system of cryptocurrency work and will be able to get ideas from it for the future projects that I could get from my current job.

The perfect question is how to you throw the shitcoin away and earn at the same time? You said use the money from the disposal of the said coin, which means that you are saying that we can still earn from selling shitcoins. Which I think is bull. A shitcoin is a shitcoin and no stupid person would even want to buy a shitcoin. Sometimes we need to think twice before we give suggestions to people. Even if you spend years trying to dispose the shitcoin for cash, no one will do that. Maybe a dollar for all, but I won't even buy that for 2 dollars. Please don't give suggestion to other people if the suggestion is far from the reality of crypto. Unless you tell me how you will be able to sell your shitcoin for cash, I will stand by my belief.

Currently, the market is unpredictable, respectively Bitcoin and other altcoins are constantly manipulated by whales, so it is hard to predict the next move, but right now, we wait for stock market what happens. I recommend you, guys, to stop trading. Currently, the market is unpredictable, respectively Bitcoin and other altcoins are constantly manipulated by whales, so it is hard to predict the next move, but right now, we wait for stock market what happens. Buy Bitcoin, store it on your private wallet and enjoy your life, stop looking at graphs. Remember, price doesn´t matter.  :)

If we don't trade or invest, what should we do here in the crypto market? The market has always been unpredictable and very risky, now there is just a chance to earn very well in addition to the risks.
So I think everything is fair and justified.

I don't really understand what type of investor I am, so not sure to call a specific name for me.  :D
FYI, I am not only an investor, sometimes I trade my coin, I mean weekly or monthly trading. I usually keep the top coins and prefer to sell new altcoins. However, I am not sure if I am an experienced trader or investor. I am still learning everything to improve my skills and optimize the chance to gain profits from my crypto assets.

There are so many different investors classification, mostly capital is deals on that way. But in my status holding of old coins is my way of investment. We are waiting for the desire price of our coins to exchange at the market, this is the type of investment we have.
Clarification from investors really needs to be considered, because they actually always spend a lot of capital on projects they like, and for your old coins it also needs to be seen in full, because some of the old coins are no longer developing. furthermore, so the potential for rising prices is slim.

Number 3 goes for me, am a hodler type, there was a time when I was a newbie and a trader, I got burned many times, though I still made from profit but on the long run, I discovered that it's better to buy and hodl than buying and selling almost immediately for quick profit.

Though this is just for me, am not speaking for other people, some people still prefer trading for quick profit over hodling and its working for them real good, it all boils down to what one wants and chooses

On the crypto market, many people also invest like you, participate in bounty campaigns, and engage in daily and long-term trading. We all do this because it is reasonable to use all the ways to earn money. However, I still like to trade stablecoins in pairs to bitcoin and Ethereum from all of the above. Do you also like something more?

Yep this is a very popular discussion in crypto space. There are lots of investment techniques people follow. And among all of them most used are the holding. And most of the people in this market hold coins for a long time. Other than that there are people who like to trade. Some of them just do few trades when they see potential. But some of them who are called  day trader who trade in daily basis. Mostly these kind of people are highly knowledgeable in trading sector. For me I am a holder most of the time. Very few times I do some trade but that's very rare.

Whether it goes up or down, I never sell the tokens I have bought. Of course, with several considerations before deciding to buy. I'm no.3, a hodler. I'm sure my portfolio will increase later.
We are the same, I do not easily sell my tokens. I have to consider things especially the price. If there is nothing important to buy and I still have money, I will hodl it. For me, holding and waiting for its time to rise is not a tiring thing to do. What I am thinking is, the right time awaits for me and in that right time I will gain big profit. But the sad part is that, there are time that comes that I have to sell my tokens due to I have money to use.

Promoting crypto projects is a great activity, because they pay good money for it. It is difficult to find just one of the huge number of projects that will fulfill its promises and not deceive. The ability to find good projects is a very important quality for a participant of bounty campaigns.

Im a holder as well because its more convenient for me to just buy a coin that has a good potential and unlikely to be delisted in exchanges. Then I will sell when the value reach my set target price. For some it might not be ideal because the income is not that huge unlike if you trade for short term. However it all depends on how much capital you use and on what coin you invest your money because who knows it can give you huge profit.

It's good that you believe in the potential of cryptocurrencies. However, you should remember that the main ones here are speculators. They constantly change the prices of various cryptocurrencies in order to earn money. So don't overestimate any coins. For the long term, I only keep bitcoins.

I haven't wanted to hold any new coins for more than 2 years. With a low amount of money, you can't be a professional trader. Now I'm a bounty hunter and waiting for the right time to invest.

I think i am trader, i really like daily trading , i feel relax with this more than holder.

I'm a crypto enthusiast, even tho I have been in the business for long but what thing have learnt in crypto is that the knowledge you gather last year won't work 100% this year which means you just have to keep learning.
There are sometimes that I will think have become an expert and this usually result to a huge loss, and we have or we will all pass through the stage of being a newbie and thus stage is the most delicate stage because the stage determines where you are going. Newbie stage is all about learning the basics, gathering informations, gathering experience.

To me, I'm still learning and will keep learning because you have to keep learning to up to date.

If you hold your bounty tokens, either it has no value or you have faith in the campaign you had joined. Being a hodler requires a lot of patience as well as a big capital. Using the so called, average down strategy. However, you have to be tough in market either you hold or not. Market sometimes deceive market participants. In fact, whatever strategy we can use we can`t deny that we keep on losing. As long as you can stay in the market and make some money, you are a good trader and investor.

I, too, when I was a beginner, was constantly looking for fundamentally strong projects. This was my biggest mistake. Fundamentally strong projects are Bitcoin and Ethereum. All other projects are ordinary speculative assets that are only needed for quick earnings and moving into new assets.

Same here, dude. Count me in as a hodler. The cryptos I earn from the campaign I'm in are just in my wallet, waiting for the right time to sell. But, there are times that I have to spend some of it especially when I'm short of money. The tendency is to earn more and then hodl again. It takes a lot of patience but I don't think of it much so I won't be that bothered with the price.

But of course, I'm willing to learn to become a trader. Not necessarily a professional one but someone who has enough knowledge and skills necessary for trading.

They buy some coin and hold it for a long time, they don't think about profit or loss In short time. Some other foloow normal trading, they buy something whenever they are in profits they sell. And other one follow day trading it's a bit hard, cause you need a high amount of knowledge about charts and otherstuff. I am a holder mostly. But I also trade sometimes. But it's rare. When I see I can make some profits from trade I go for it.

It is too difficult to HODL cryptocurrency if you see that it is gaining a lot, and the peak of its price is probably coming. I can say, it is better to be an active trader. Yes, you will lose sometimes (and quite often), but the actives will be always active which means a lot for me, for instance.

In future Bitcoin profits return will be lower than altcoins. In 1 year Bitcoin, Ethereum and Binance coin profits. New coins are better than altcoins if the topic is about profits. I would suggest at least 15-20 percent of your investment in only new altcoins. Top exchange listed altcoins investors are smart, so do I.

If you're a long term holder and the price of your coins are gaining a lot then that might be the best time to sell and take profit. We cant often see the price consistently increasing unless its already a bullrun. Im a long term hodler because its the best strategy that fits for myself as I cant frequently monitor the market just like the daily trader. So I guess it depends what strategy you're comfortable with that can bring you more profit.

The low marketcap altcoins have a higher ROI, for comparison investing the same amount in the ETH and the low marketcap altcoins will have different investment consequences. The altcoins can go up to x20,x10, or x100 but the stated numbers are not real for ETH or other top altcoins. Logically buying a low marketcap altcoin can give a huge return on the investment but for safety investment, it is advisable to stay away from risky volatile altcoins. The ROI will be high but there is a big chance of losing the investment if the project goes bankrupt.

If you are gathering all your Bounty payments and hold them all then yeah you are already a holder and waiting for the right time to sell.
But if you are buying from your own money?then that is much better because this means another adding in crypto market.
there are so many members here but majority are only taking their payments and spend for their daily expenses ,though this is better to make the market healthy and circulate all the coins in right way of using.
I mean Holding after converting into Bitcoin,i have just missed the sentence ,because i know that Bounty tokens will die sooner after being paid.
or at least He has sympathy in some tokens or coins that he gather and will continue holding until it becomes successful .
I think I am an crypto enthusiast and a hodler at the same time because I really do have an interest and enjoyment in buying cryptocurrencies, even we sometimes face bad days in the crypto market. It is why I keep learning to gain my knowledge about blockchain technology and cryptocurrency, so I could start earning considerable profit.
So meaning you have already bought many crypto because that is something you love to do?

I always try to adjust to the situation if Fomo Defi like this happens again, then there is no reason to keep coins for a long time.
only buy it then sell it back when already making a profit.
storing coins for a long time is only appropriate for major coins such as bitcoin, eth, bnb, xrp, and others.
whereas for a new project, buying and throwing away would be the right thing to do.

I am one of those people who sell their coins as soon as they get listed on the exchange which many a times have actually backfired on me and now I am shifting towards holding kind because here I have seen that a lot of people are doing the same thing and also getting good returns as compared to sell straight away right after the coin is listed on the exchange. All the new coins get dumped after the exchange lists the coin and then after some time when the dumping is done then the real money making period gets started, which I wasn't able to participate in almost every time when I invested in the projects.

There are many kind of investment strategies people follow around this crypto space. But I think most of the people go for holding strategy it's normally easy to execute don't need any kind of trading knowledge, don't need any kind of time and it's safer for newcomers if you go with high cap coins.you buy something and hold for a long time and if you are in profit you sell out your profit. The other popular strategies which are popular are trading and day trading. Though you need a good amount of knowledge about trading and charts to execute that. I will say if you are a new commers don't go with that.

For now I am in #3 Hodler because I like holding any kinds of tokens/coins that I have. I really want to become a #5 Professional trader but so far I just trade small amount due to a limited capital investment.

I consider myself as a crypto enthusiast still though I am no longer a newbie but the process of learning for me about crypto still ongoing. Everyday there's new on the crypto that needs to study and learn about it. So I guess at that point I am a crypto enthusiast. I am also a kind of HODLER, early adopter, and a trader but not a professional trader.

There are very few such people who can hold their coins for a really long time. The market is very volatile and it is very difficult to be confident in any project for a long time. But those people who hold many altcoins for a long time understand that this brings a lot of profit. Long term strategy is very good

I completely agree with you. Most of all I love bitcoin)BTC 8) Perhaps the most famous bitcoin strategy is what is commonly known as "HODLing" or "holding on for dear life". The term was fist coined in 2013, when bitcoin’s price was falling and a user incorrectly typed "hodling" rather than "holding", to indicate he would not be exiting his position. It has since evolved to become a strategy that revolves around maintaining a long position on bitcoin, in the hope that it increases in price over the long term and return to the peaks of the 2017. I believe that soon bitcoin will cost 100 thousand dollars. Some say that its price will be one million! :o

I guess even though I read about things within the forum, I fall on the Crypto Enthusiast because even though I have knowledge regarding some things within the Industry, its still hard for me to pursue the next step (to become a HODLER) because of the lack of capital. Its still good for me to earn weekly since I can really use that money. Bounties are still a good idea since they tend to blow up their prices at the end of the campaign which can bring you a big salary but I guess Im still an enthusiast.

I agree with you about holder that not need to consider about the price go up or down but we need to have a clear period time and a specifical price where we will take profit. Because the bull run doesn't go forever. Like as 2017 period when BTC reach 20k and we must to wait 3 years after to see this price again and miss many other opportunities if we still hold money in there.

You play a good strategy, but also have risks that you must always understand, stop losses can indeed save you from losses, but what is called looking for profit, someone should not experience losses, you can imagine 5-6% loss in 10 times, I think that is a very big thing.

I am a holder and a trader because with the hodl technique, I will set a higher profit goal, because I will place my bet on a digital asset for an indefinite period of time, hoping that the coin price will go up high. I think it is very helpful to get a profit from a coin that I invest in.

I think in the crypto space, everyone started as a newbie, also it's good to know that while some people will remain in that level because of doubt, others will take a step into moving to stage 2, that is crypto enthusiasts and in my own understanding, it is at this stage that a lot of people will move to be hodlers or traders, at the same time, a lot of people will prefer to be both a trader and a hodler.
However, in my own case, I am a trader and a holder, this is because I believe in trading with a certain amount and a good portion of the profit thereafter being moved to Bitcoin or Ethereum as the case may be.

I have multiple accounts for different coin and been working and offering service for bitcoin. I got good profit during 2017 and most of my funds I am using is just from my small beginings in crypto.  So anything that I have now is just a profit from my well manage funds.

This technique has functioned admirably in the course of the most recent eight years. The key is to realize when to purchase and not to fearing unpredictable business sectors. There are consistently periods of wretchedness where no one imagines that crypto has a future. I am hanging tight for BTC cost to arrived at $20K. That was at that point December, I figured it will arrived at it however on the center of the month it gradually goes down.

Yes, but if we look at the history and studies in Bitcoin, the price of Bitcoin often moves upwards well in the duration of every three years, and this you can find in 2017 and the three years before 2017 also experienced a good increase.

I believe in both holder and dealer but it does with the circumstances. At the starting of my exchanging i attempted to contribute into a coin by seeing the token cost but at display time i do venture into a coin with an upgrade from group or seeing the guide. I think usually exceptionally supportive to pick up benefit from a coin. At the same time i moreover hold a token when i can buy a token in moo cost which has shinning future worth such like Polka Dot token. It was mind boggling that Horizen and Polka dot token will hit on peak but it does and like me some person takes that chance in moo costs buying.

The lockdown gave me the free time to look deeper into crypto currencies. I want to be a HODLer eventually but as of now I still don't have the stomach to keep calm during huge volatility. Then re-engaged a bit after 2018. More from a technical interest standpoint. Seems like with stock any crypto I used to have I was great at selling very low and buying high :)

I think, in this category, I belong to the holder. Even though the assets I hold at the moment are not that many, I can hold them up to my target price. however, it is quite easy to hold small assets for a long time, but it is quite difficult to hold large assets for a long. However, I think I am a category holder.

Smiles on you when you do see that the price had clingged up way above into your entry or purchase point but if you do saw that it is way below then these emotions cant really be seen.
Talking on what kind of investor i am then im in both sides where i do have some short term ones and having for long term hodls. Im not really that too patient on waiting for profits
for too long thats why i decided to have some involvement in a short time duration.Yes, its hard but its bareable and can be handled.
It does just need some sufficient time for you to learn up things on how to deal with moving market in active manner.

I was a hodler but when the market keeps dropping I lost my patience and sold my worthy altcoins coins for some pennies. I sold my 10 Ethereum at the price of 150$ on average and that was my biggest mistake. Apart from this I do trade seldom and do bounties as well.

I usually term myself as the reserved trader; i do not target short gains at all due to numerous volatilities and vulnerabilities around. My focus is solely on the long goal in a reserved manner; i don't just buy this, or buy that. I take time to evaluate and any token i invest on i am always certain of a profit gap. This is why i am a resserved trader, my tactics for me.

Till now, i don't think i can claim myself as a professional trader, so  i believe hodler & Early Adopter both of those suit me more. I always try to keep my eyes on & looking for new projects, make analysis about those and then invest on those project, sometimes hold those for long untill they reach the terget that i aim to achieve.besides i did dare to buy bitcoin and others altcoin when those were go below because as you already said, i believe in their future demand

Hodler and short-term trader :D I hold certain assets (including Bitcoin) for a long time. I still have Bitcoin from 2014, of which I occasionally sell smaller amounts, but generally hold it. Then there are projects that I think do not have a great future but are hyped in the short and medium term. I only keep this for a short time and take profits in Bitcoin with which I then invest for a long time. This strategy works very well.

Im definitely an HODLER

i'am a trader, but not a professional trader my friend, but now i started to learn how to be a professional trader  ;)
in simple words, i trade crypto and forex as my main source income

honestly i don't know what my profile is, because i just buy low and sell high, i don't worry about making hodl and i don't invest in altcoins constantly. the last altcoin that i remember investing was DIA that later had the hacker case and altcoin suffered a big dump luckily i bought it for a very low price that allowed me to sell at a profit. Being a long-term investor has great risks, for example now nobody knows what the direction of bitcoin is. Can you imagine buying for $ 34000 and then dropping to $ 30,000 or less and not going up? so far there is some indecision if buying at that price and making hodl is good or not. in the case of altcoin it is also dangerous

I'm an investor and by investing I would love to get a huge profit at all. In that case, I was bought some BTC last year when it was low value and it has held till now by me. I think its value will be increased to 35000$. So, according to your speech, I'm a holder and also an Early Adopter investor. If I more clarify about myself, then I have to say, blockchain technology trading is my main earning source in the current situation. I decided, Blockchain trading will be my professional trade. So, Finally, you can identify me as a professional crypto lover with a professional trader.

I've always been a hodler, because I rarely trade on big bucks or values, so I can't categorize myself as a trader. I also have some experience as an investor, not very profitable but also not losing. I hope that I have enough free time to learn mining and also become a day trader who is able to maintain daily profit, so that it is enough to reinvest into a growing business

Yes, doing a few different jobs on crypto would really help us a lot, but for tokens that you once held and died after a few years, it was only because you chose the wrong token to hold, because if you were holding the right coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum, then they will never die.

there may be certain reasons if we hold for a long time after the ICO is finished, we usually wait for the price to match the ICO price or see an opportunity that the price will be more and try to continue to hold it.
there are many ways that each person does and can be different but I usually when it is close to the ICO price will release, and I am sure there are also things like you do

Yes i also have a same experience on trading .I try to buy on low price on ICO then hold it for long time to reach my level .I always research the project before putting my capital into the invest and choose the best project and i made many profit on this way .However we all can try this .

yes, what you do is in accordance with your personal circumstances and feel it is time to let go.
Of course all will not invest in projects that we do not believe in and try to see and observe the project. if you not never get fooled and get a price below the ICO, of course you are a very lucky person. because many are not as beautiful as your story and experience many losses with various problems.

I can say I belong to two groups here and one that is not mentioned. I'm an enthusiast and also a trader. Just that I don't trade just anyhow. I'm an arbitrage trader. I look for where to buy for a low price and sell almost immediately on another exchange for higher price to make a profit.
The crypto market is always volatile and the temptation is calculated. Ironically, in my personality there is a generosity of artistry or adventure. I have, though, preformed the plans and drew a cut line for sale. but can't put / throw it.
I often lose profit x5 or more because of that adventure. Keeping strong is the right thing to do in order not to lose sleep on ambition.

because long-term hold does not always have a positive impact on the portfolio, even it has enormous risks,
the most important thing is strategy or the type you use will work.

I think I can consider myself as an hodler too. Even though I do not hold that huge amount of crypto at the moment, I have enough to hold on to and no matter how troubled the situation is, I make sure to keep on holding into it. Before, I usually gain most of my profits from joining in signature campaigns when such campaigns are still reliable and profitable cause now most of it are scam and there are not much of it anymore. I am hoping to learn how to trade soon so that I can earn more money in the future and make my holdings larger.

and the way I do it is always buy when the price is corrected and wait for the coin to fly high, these four coins have made me rich,
Ethereum, Link Having reached the new ATH and Waves, Litecoin also had a good performance in the last year, that's all I did. Hold long term!

4. Early Adopter

5. Professional Trader

This three above, i hodl some altcoins also i hodl [urlhttps://trade.kucoin.com/BTC-USDT]BTC [/url] too, saving it for 100k at most if possible. Being an early adopter in some good altcoins and also main goal s to gain short profits from day by day

I'm number 3 because i don't have a lot of time time to do daily trading.
For me the most important thing being hodler is i need to set my own "Sell" target, so when the price already reach my target then i'm gonna sell it.
It is also a good strategy to follow because it takes into account the time you don't have, but if it is for people who have a lot of time, then they will also consider day trading for profit, as that can also help them in earning income even if not as much as they do he wants.

I'm a mix of the first three.

I am a newbie and a crypto enthusiast at the same time. I just joined not that recently but my portfolio is still not as diverse as the others. I have some cryptocurrencies that I hold but not that much because I see this as a second source of income but in the long run, if I save enough, this might be the reason why I will be a millionaire.

Most of the people in this community are only interested in the profits they make from crypto and I think there are very few people who really care about what crypto innovation has to offer. But whatever their purpose, they are part of what make crypto popular and valuable. Traders, investor, bounty hunter, miners, developer are all part of the crypto that makes this chain work.

I am not an investor, but I am attracted to several crypto assets that are potentially profitable in the short and long term. Bitcoin is my top choice, and if I chose altcoin it would be ethereum.

I hold a great deal of crypto coin that don't have a price yet or even I like to purchase crypto whose price is dropping a ton to be utilized as an investment and hold it, since I trust the price will increment high and obviously it will give me an exceptionally large benefit and make profit.

yes, you are the same as me, I am also a long-term investor, but luck came to me after holding Ethereum for more than 1 year and my tiring waiting paid off this year. and I also have some new coins or tokens that are generated from bounties, some of which have high selling value. I see that the current market is experiencing a slight correction. Maybe you can buy back some of the top coins before the recovery occurs.

I am the current holder type, because I now choose a token that has low value and potential. I will still hold the token even though the price has increased, for me an investor has a selling principle when profit is at least 25% of the buy limit.
I think you have consistency in the investment you make. but my question is why don't you try to get out of the assets you have? even though you haven't made a profit in the planning you make, but if the potential for tokens you hold is small I think you are obliged to sell and exit. you can move on to other assets that you think could be better.
I myself cannot hold investment assets for too long. because I myself am more suited to short-term trading and investing by keeping up with the hype in the market.

i'd like to be an early adopter for a new project with a lot of potential my friend, but we need to do our best research before investing
also i'am a hodler from top cryptocurrency such as bitcoin, ethereum and many more
This is the way to make a better profit in the market today. Just as the early investors of ETH and BTC made it, we tend to look for promising projects that are starting out. And just like those coins that have managed to get up to the rankings, they're also once new to the market and got a little support until they thrive and noticed by many investors that supported them and made profits through their way. I'm also a holder but I don't find myself looking at new projects that seem to have the potential.
