I have to agree with the others, it won't be an effective alternative to actual gambling because even though you could win tons from playing with fake money it's not as rewarding compared to winning with your own money. maybe your idea can be effective for some people and not effective for others. because sometimes many cases happen to someone who is not familiar with gambling and he plays a gambling simulation application and ends up being a real gambler and addicted. I'm in much need of this. Every few weeks I gamble and loss what I've earned. The very first day of the month have disappointed me. Hard earned money 0.017BTC got busted within seconds. I don't think there is any alternative for money. Generally a man may play any game for his entertainment, but if a gambler is told to play games with fake money he will never do that. He will deserve that it is value less or just a time killer things. Nothing is more valuable to him than money. So this strategy will never work for gamblers.

I used to play some poker only with play money to try some new strategies and found that people play more aggressive if it's not there own money they lose. The only way I can imagine, it's some kind of virtual gambling, like gambling in video games, Gwent or HS for example. Reward ofc fake, there no use for them in real world, but if you're get into the game, acting like main character, you can gamble the same as in real life.

When you are gambling with fake money we are mostly considering it to be an online gambling website.
Since they don't use real money they get their income from the traffic generated on their website.
