I don't think gambling with fake money will solve any problem, I think that's just like a demo account? This idea has indeed been tried out there by some people. Simulate a virtual deposit and then just keep track of your balance in Excel how it would have gone virtually. What is your opinion on Fake money gambling apps, do you recognize the potential I think they have to assist in reducing the number of gamblers who loose real money?

Using such app for someone that wants to quit gambling is like pouring fuel into fire in a mile way cause the gambler will end up learning new patterns to engage in into the real money gambling. That seems to be it. There's no potential on it because there's no actual value being put into it, yes, you will enjoy but if the potential that we'll be seeing from it isn't the one that we used to have with the typical way of gambling.

For addicted gamblers it will not work, as above said they are playing to make money and not to have fun so gambling using fake money wont satisfy them. It will only work to gamblers playing for fun because they're not eager to earn huge and just want to play to entertain themselves.

What you need to know is the experience you got between gambling using fake money and real money are actually different.

They will definitely get angry when they win because they can't make use of the money, they start wishing they have been using their own money to gamble and not a fake money, which will encourage them to use their main money to gamble which after depositing money to the site, they might start losing but they won't stop, because they believe they will win because they were winning when using fake money. If you want to stop gambling is better you stop it completely if you can, but don't think fake money is an alternative.
