I do not understand. The social bounty program has long been over. What are these reports?                                       Stop it.

I know! Why are people still reporting when the bounty campaign is over?  Huh Roll Eyes

I participated in other bounty campaigns, where Manager was Colorless, it is very rarely answers in the bounty thread and telegram, but member of his team @andykov answers

Good to know.. I won't be participating in his poorly managed campaigns again. This was the first and last.

I'm excited to have received my ICO tokens (yay!) but sadly, still no answer about the signature bounty tokens..
And I wore the signature and avatar for a VERY long time  Angry

Bad form, ColorlessK!  Huh

no one knows, we're all just waiting for something and hoping, but it looks like it's just a Scam

No, not a scam, just a poorly managed bounty campaign unfortunately..
I have the tokens I bought through the ICO.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOU]PoStoken Revival Project - new lending platform on: April 05, 2018, 08:04:55 AM
Watching this new thread closely for some type of official announcement on where this thing is headed..
Would love some info on the new dev team - Who are you? What is your experience? etc.

Like many others here, I'm not loving the idea of becoming a 'Lending Platform' - it just has such a scammy connotation to it..
I don't understand why someone would 'lend' out their tokens rather than simply staking/minting them, as they were intended.

Hopefully the team can come up with something truly innovative and not just turn this into another Bitconnect/Davor/etc.

Looking forward to the token swap info..

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][ICO] Lucyd - World's first compact & comfortable AR smartglasses on: March 30, 2018, 04:47:34 AM
I would like to help by showing some of the members' conversations with lucyd co-founder on telegram.

#1 campaign participants can remove signatures and do not need to connect with KYC

#2 the latest news on distribution and how to get it.

I hope the manager can update the next news so as not to cause confusion for the participants.

Thanks so much for posting this here.. shame the campaign manager didn't think to do so..  Tongue Wink
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀[ANN][PoSToken]First PoS Smart Contract Token[Lending Platform Available] on: March 14, 2018, 07:32:38 AM
Wow, I haven't checked in on this token since January and it is unfortunate to read all the news here since.
Its such a shame to see that this project has gone quiet and I should've guessed as much when the lending platform was released.

I think the whole 'lending platform' concept is completely unsustainable, particularly in a bearish market like we have now.
Not to mention this absolutely reeks of Bitconnect/Davor Coin etc.. and we all know the end to that story..

For now I'm glad that all I hold is the Airdrop - but spewing I didn't sell them when it was at $2.50+  Tongue
I'm also glad I never sent anything to the lending platform.

Normally I'd say we should just be patient but it isn't encouraging to see that all the socials have gone quiet and so many people here seem to have their coins stuck in the lending platform.

I really hope the dev team can bring this token out from the ashes.
Or otherwise, hand the token over to another developer..

For now, I'll await an official announcement and hope that the token doesn't just turn out to be a useless souvenir..

It really is a huge shame, I liked the unique simplicity of this token and the team initially held one the best managed airdrops and bounty campaigns last year.

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Poloniex is bought by Circle on: February 27, 2018, 06:34:24 AM
This...

Tin foil hat: engage.

This acquisition isn't about acquiring a profitable business; the $400 million price tag is irrelevant. This is about Wall Street gaining an investment foothold in the market. The cryptocurrency markets are far too illiquid for Wall Street firms with deep balance sheets to acquire positions in BTC and other coins. I've been watching firms like GS operate for a long time; they typically spend 2-5 years accumulating stocks before a significant mark-up and massive rally.

They don't have nearly enough time for that in this case. The next best thing? Buy an exchange, churn out percentage commissions, and hold the coins.

I'm really surprised that so many people in the crypto community see this GS buy-out as a good thing.
I expected that there would be outrage at this news and I thought I'd be seeing an organized boycott of Poloniex.

I thought greedy, elite banksters like Goldman Sachs are the very antithesis of what bitcoin and cryptocurrency stand for and yet most of the community are going on about how great this is.. I don't get it..  Roll Eyes Huh

If we thought there was market manipulation going on before, wait until we see what's ahead..

closed poloniex account, from time to time a little bit of ethics does not hurt

I'm with you..

F*ck Goldman Sachs and f*ck Poloniex...  Tongue

8  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Quit Facebook on: February 25, 2018, 03:15:18 AM
It has been almost a year already since I decided to stop using facebook. Tell you what, It feels great not seeing all these showbiz personalities, the faces of these stupid politicians, the drama etc...Would you quit facebook?, just try it and I assure you of one thing and that's "Reality".

I think of having Facebook and most social media (excluding Twitter) as a necessary evil. If you use it to connect with new people and stay in touch with people you genuinely can't connect with in any other way (call, text, in person) than it's a positive force. I use mine mostly for business purposes. Without it, I would not be able to market my app as well!

This is the second time today I've noticed you taking the words out of my mouth  Wink Cheesy

True, Facebook and Social Media in general is a necessary evil in my life. I barely use any socials for personal but I manage dozens of business socials so without it, I would not have the income I do.

What's most annoying to me about social media is the data farming and bombardment of advertising.
What's most useful to me about social, is the marketing data I can collect from there and the advertising I can do on behalf of my clients.
How hypocritical is that? haha...

10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Women in the cryptocurrency industry on: February 25, 2018, 02:41:15 AM
By numbers, currently, there are definitely more males in the crypto space than females..
Any crypto meetup/event/chat I've been a part of, the females are heavily outnumbered by the males, but I definitely think this will start to even out over time. The entire IT space as a whole is more male dominated than female so I think its only natural we'd see this reflect in the crypto space, especially in these early days (ie pre-mass adoption).

IMO, the whole issue is insignificant.. Its like saying there are mostly 25-40 year olds in the crypto  space..
Who cares? Its just something for the media to blab on about because 'gender equality' is their flavour of the month topic..

I do agree with OP that there are certainly more females in the space than is talked about, and there are certainly females doing big things in crypto.
Take Dr. Gemma Green for example, one of the founders of Power Ledger, one of the most successful projects of 2017 and Australia's biggest ICO to date.

From the consumer side of things, I (female) am the person in my house/family who is the crypto junkie and I'm the most successful trader/investor within my immediate circle so far (yes, most of the others are males).

Some of the comments here are right in saying, us females probably just aren't as vocal about it.

PS:

I don't think that there is more woman here in the crypto world because woman are fragile in making decisions. We all know that woman will choose focus on their make up that the bitcoin and that is a possible reality.

Dumbest comment I've read all week!  Roll Eyes
You think there are less women in crypto because we are 'fragile in making decisions'..?
Haha! I nearly choked on my coffee from laughing so hard at your stupidity..

.... now I better go and focus on my makeup Roll Eyes Tongue

12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know before the Dump? on: February 23, 2018, 01:15:49 AM
I have been investing in cryptocurrency for 5 months . I am buying some icos and holding coins. I started with 5000 usd. And sometimes my balance went up to 30k and down to 12k . I feel very uncomfortable when my balance is dropped.
So i want to know is there any strategy to protect your balance before the dump?
Anyone can help please.
Thank you so much.

The massive volatility is just part of trading crypto I'm afraid. That is why you need strong hands to do it successfully.  Wink Smiley
It is this volatility that allows us to make to make our huge gains, so its not all bad - even though it is hard to watch your portfolio shrink by over 50% as we have over the last few weeks. Think of it as a lesson in patience.   Smiley

There is no way to truly know when a dump is coming, unless you're a proper whale, or unless you are part of some big coordinated pump and dump effort. All traders/hodlers are suffering from shrinkage right now, so you're not alone.

You just have to learn to ride the waves my friend and just know that if you are invested in solid, long-term projects, your portfolio will recover..
If you're holding bags of shitcoins however, now may be the time to consider cutting some of your losses and move into better projects/investments.

As they say, if you can't stand the heat - get out of the kitchen..
Or more relevantly, if you can't handle the 50% dips, you don't deserve the 200% gains  Grin
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO LIVE]◄ ♛ 🔥 Shift your car title into cash. 🔥 ♛ on: February 23, 2018, 12:12:06 AM
So I came here to find out more after noticing an unexpected 'ShiftCashExtraBonus' Token in MEW..
Firstly, whats the purpose of this bonus token, other than promo? Adding functionless promo tokens to my wallet address is like the crypto version of sending me junk mail - it does the project no favours in my eyes and I just find it rather annoying.

If you're going to airdrop for promo, at least send the ACTUAL platform token. Sheesh..  Roll Eyes

That aside, I did check out the website and whitepaper.

Interesting project but doesn't really get me excited from an investment point of view.
The ICO token price is a little too high for my liking.

Also, risking your car title for only 35% of its value? Not a huge enticement from a user perspective, in my opinion.
As I'm in Australia, I guess its not relevant to me anyway, as the project doesn't operate in my country.

Not trying to come off totally negative here guys, I just thought the last couple pages of this thread is lacking some honest feedback - among all the bounty hunters shilling for the project  Tongue Wink Cheesy

I do think the project has some potential however, with lending platforms being a pretty hot sector for crypto..
Best of luck guys..  Kiss
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] VIBEHub | Crypto Based Virtual Reality Marketplaces & Hubs on: February 22, 2018, 12:56:09 PM
Actually, i am one of the very little people who bought from ico.

I would be happier of course if i sold just after binance listing and rebuy now but it brought me great profit and will bring me great profit too. It just needs time. Nothing can rise all the time. It needs time.

Me too Cheesy

I've still got half my ICO stash and it's still in healthy profit, wasn't it 3c or something?
I took some profits at the top and now need to replace what I sold..

This is still definitely a great long-term hold. It has only just begun, its still early days Grin
15  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - The most advanced cryptocurrency exchange on: February 22, 2018, 12:14:12 PM
I'd love to hear a follow up on the dozens of complaints here, as some addressed by hitbtc here today were made over a month ago..
Curious to know whether all the backlogged transactions have finally come through??

Personally, I've never had this problem in the few times I've used HitBTC but the comments here are making me think twice about using it again.

Is everything back to normal?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Bounties are not worth the effort - Limit the numbers on: February 16, 2018, 01:50:05 PM
Most bounties or signature campaigns give you access to a spreadsheet of all the participants so if you can see that there are too many to be worth your while, simply do not participate.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Lucyd - Welcome to Lucyd, the new Augmented Reality World on: February 16, 2018, 11:02:26 AM
Waiting for more info to get a deeper understanding about the project. How many tokens per 1 eth?

Instead of 'waiting' why don't you head to the website and do your own research...
Their website and whitepaper is extremely detailed and thorough.
No need to wait when all of the information is right there..

Just sayin..

Hm. How will I get the part of the profit? In fiat or crypto? Or in tokens of ico that you invest in?
Could you please explain, I’m new to crypto

Your question makes no sense so if you're really that new to crypto, perhaps you should not be investing anywhere until you know what you're doing.

Like any ICO, you'd invest your crypto (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, what have you) and exchange that for Lucyd's LCD tokens (also a crypto).
In time, they appreciate in value. If you want to then sell them for fiat when you're in profit, that's your choice.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: February 13, 2018, 12:27:13 PM
Is it true to write passport and address information when registering with Airdrop campaigns? Fraudulent entrepreneurs can capture our identity information for fraud. Is there a safe option?
.

Really wonder this as well. Any answers to this question. Or advice!? Thank you so much!

Absolutely not! You would never have to show your passport and give your home address for a legit airdrop, this most definitely sounds like a phishing scam for identity theft.

All you should have to give is your wallet address and maybe even join their social channels..

I have received many legit airdrops over the last 12-18 months and have never had to give any personal information like this..

Be very careful when following links from newbie members or fishy websites.. scammers are everywhere!
19  Other / Archival / Re: Help a Beginner to understand... on: February 06, 2018, 11:34:09 AM
Hello guys...

I have diversified my portfolio to about 25 different cryptos which were worth about 7000-8000$ just before the bitcoin crash came and I am wondering whats the exact reason behind this, when or will it recover (and so the alt coins I hold, don't have any bitcoin).

Why do almost all alt coins crash because of the bitcoin crash or correction?

My portfolio is worth only 4000$ atm.

Sorry for being an beginning idiot and asking this and thanks for everybody who can explain it to me

As long as what you are holding are QUALITY cryptos, then don't worry, they will recover.
There's several reasons the crypto markets have crashed right now, and its not just cryptos, traditional investment markets are also experiencing a little 'crash'.

Everyone's portfolio is taking a beating at the moment, its not just yours.
The whole market has shrunk by over 50% so pretty much everyone is feeling it right now.

As they say in crypto, if you can't handle the 50% losses then you don't deserve the 1000% gains...

20  Other / Politics & Society / Re: New ways to fight corruption on: February 06, 2018, 08:24:51 AM
This thread needs to move to off-topic discussion.. It should not be in Project Development..  Smiley
