I'm surprised that people are selling their coins as cheap as they are, With the latest price you can buy a masternode for $260. The real value is in the link with txbit.io exchange, If (and depending on how you look at it then it could be a fairly big if) the exchange becomes a top 115 exchange by volume (based on coinmarketcap volume) then just that alone would put the ROI a fair bit above 100% at the current price and number of masternodes. (This figure is based on being at position 115 not 1). (If it became at top 100 exchange at the current volume then the return would be over 400%. The payout would be in nearly all Bitcoin as well so no one would be scrambling to sell their coins and smashing the price of the coin down like what happens with inflation or even worse hyper inflation masternode coins that currently happens.
The exchange hasn't even been going 6 months yet and isn't really listed anywhere either and isn't on coinmarketcap so as it becomes more well known then it will get used more etc, you only have to look at the certain big exchange and it's coin to see what the potential is, That exchange has a daily volume 1500+ times bigger than the volume needed to give a ROI of 100% at current figures, Now I'm not saying the exchange will get anywhere near as big as the number one exchange but as it shows it doesn't have to get anywhere near that amount to get a very decent return. Obviously if Bitcoin price goes up you are up even more as well.

TXBIT is online for 2 months. It's time to apply for Coinmarketcap listing
Two months or two years is not matter.
The total volume of txbit.io exchange is the matter to get acceptance of CMC to list there.
So, I thought txbit.io exchange should have bigger daily volume first
The requirements of CMC on daily volume is not too much, so txbit.io can get there later for sure. I don't remember the required volume, but the team can check it.

They mentioned 2 months as you couldn't apply to be listed until you had traded at least 2 months from what someone said before.
Also txbit.io daily volume is bigger than quite a few exchanges that are all ready listed, Although I don't think the biggest traded coins on txbit.io are listed on CMC so that could be an issue.

Staking more than 1000 coins in one chunk, I don't think so.
It is wasteful to use 1000 coins in only one chunk for staking.
So, if that guy split those coins into 100 chunks for example, he could send some of them out of the wallet without issues.
For coins were immature, he could not send them out of wallet.

I'm not saying they want to stake 1000 coins in 1 chunk I'm saying that's what I think happened. (pretty sure they are trying to setup a masternode and sent 1000 to themselves in 1 chunk)

If you look at the transactions you can see that they had 2 transactions of 0.04998960 which is exactly the reward amount you get from staking. 1000 + 0.04998960 +0.04998960 = 1000.099 as the wallet is set to 2 decimal places by default it will show up as 1000.09, Which is exactly the amount that is Immature and when you have coins that have received a reward for staking but not had the required number of confirmations (102 I believe) they will show up as Immature as soon as 102 has been reached (so on average just under 2 hours) then they will become available again.

How can I fix it? I can't use my xlr

1000.09 xlr Immature.

I can't tell for sure from that screenshot but I'm 99% sure you have 1000.09 Immature because they are being staked. You basically have to wait for enough confirmations (should be done within 2hrs of when you got the stake reward) so it should be finished by now and you should have all the coins available again.

I'm guessing you are trying to setup a masternode and before you could do it the staking happened?. You will need to set it up so you have exactly 1000 again but then you should lock the 1000 coins so they don't get used for staking (this is providing you are setting up a masternode of course).
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 💥SOLARIS XLR💥100% PoS + Masternodes💥Txbit.io exchange is live now ! on: February 22, 2019, 07:05:31 PM
lol a I told you one year ago, you kill the coin when you switch from PoW/PoS to Pos only. And the coins is just slowly dying.
A masternode is worth toady $500 (was $40 000 on ATH) and monthly income is $5! Lol even VPS cost more than MN income.
And please don't tell me that we have abear market now and that is a reason. Most of coins doing bad. Solaris doing so bad like most of shitcoins only.
There is many coins on the market that are doing much well then XLR even in those bear market. The monthly cost of running txbit.io is so high that the masternodes owner will not get any reward from this exchange in next two years.

Well done XLR.

RiP

Switching from PoW/PoS to PoS only does not kill a coin FFS, There are plenty of coins such as Lux (that have high profile people like McAfee), GoByte , and Bitcore all of which were around (or in GoBytes case twice as high) as Solaris ATH price and they are all lower than Solaris and they are not PoS only.

Yes Solaris price has lost most of its price but then so have pretty much every other coin out there, take the ones below for instance or are they "shitcoins" or PoS only crypto.

Solaris has lost 98% of it's ATH price. (this ATH price didn't have much volume either so is more inflated than it really should be but I've included it as it happened)
Dash has lost 94%
Neo 96%
Bitcoin Cash 96%
Zcash 98%
Bitcoin Gold 97%
DigiByte 92%
Qtum 98%
PIVX 95%
Blocknet 95%

That's just naming some of the top valued cryptos in the market I can't be bothered to do anymore but those are some of the most valuable crypto out there.

Yes at the moment a masternode owner will not get a return from the exchange in the next 2 years at the current volume amount but the exchange has only just started FFS, No exchange/business starts off with crazy high numbers right away it gets built up over time, Hell this exchange isn't even on coinmarketcap at the moment as it hasn't been trading enough days so most people wont of even heard of the exchange currently. You can't expect an exchange to have huge trading from the off, The good thing is there seems to be around 100 new accounts made every day which for a exchange not listed anywhere seems decent going. If and that's quite a big If, The exchange takes off then no one will care about the masternode returns from the masternode itself it will be the reward from the exchange that gets the return.

$1m volume a day (120 exchanges do that a day) would return over 50% a year at the current price.
$2.5m volume a day (103 exchanges doing that) would be 125% return in a year at the current price.
$10m volume a day (72 exchanges doing that) would return over 500% a year at the current price.
(number of exchanges volume above taken from coinmarketcap)(also based on 800 masternodes which there are currently less than 500 so reward would be higher)

Now don't get me wrong I'm not saying the above is going to happen but I'd rather a coin and developer who know how inflation etc works than go for a masternode project that gives a 1000% return on just the masternode reward which can't possibly work.

I do think they need to add new coins early or even for free on the exchange as a trial or something, to begin with, tho as you can get high volume from those coins pretty quickly, take Blacer Coin, for instance, the 24hr volume on that coin is $180k on 3 exchanges all of them being pretty small exchanges with cryptobridge being the largest one (with $100k volume) if you can get a few coins trading on your exchange like that then you are laughing.

Honestly, I have stopped staking my coins more than one months.
It's mainly because I used only around 300 coins for staking, which gives me very limited staking rewards per day.
Most of my blocks found are orphaned blocks.
It's likely changed dramatically to be the game for only masternodes, not for stakers.
In other words, it's harder to find valid blocks for stakers.

I've currently got 300+ coins and I've only had 17 orphaned blocks in almost 4 months so you mostly finding orphaned blocks is definately not the norm that Myself and the couple other people I personally know who are staking as well.

staking is going crazy rite now.. iv had 12 in last 1hour this is awesome!!

If I were you I would check to see if you haven't split off the correct chain as unless you have a very large number of coins then that seems too many.

That is very good news about the new exchange listing! Smiley

*Also, I have been receiving staking rewards consistently, including one just a few minutes ago. Have you checked to verify that your wallet is on the current block?

yes, it process 291192 blocks at now, so i'm sure that blocks sync is up to date

i have no problems until today. maybe some system bug or so?

How many coins are you staking with?. Have you had more payouts than average before that?, For instance I average around 3.5 payments a day but on the 6th I got 5 and on the 7th and 8th I only had 1 on each and then today I've had 6 So if I looked at the 48hrs or so I'd only had 2 pay outs which is a lot down on normal but when I include the day before and day after I'm back to around my average. You will probably find you had more payments the day before or will get more when you get a payment out. Unlike with masternodes when you get your reward pretty much the same time distance apart Staking works differently so some days you could get a fair few more than on average and others you could get a fair few less.

i'm staking about 300 coins. yes, i've had about 6-8 payout in a couple days before. maybe it affected recent payouts. but now my latest payout were about 40 hours ago

Yeah you should be looking at around 3 1/2 payments a day ish on average at the moment. How many total payouts have you had in the last 4 days and  also last 7 days?

Please stay tuned - zXLR  guide will be ready soon.

Thank you for supporting Solaris !

What I know is zXLR will boost up the staking process and reduce waiting time to earn staking rewards for stakers, right?
Consequently, zXLR is worthy to wait for its release.

zXLR is already out and working.

So you got around 5 stakes rewards in 1 day from 120 coins??, If so I wouldn't expect to get that many each day on average from my experience. I've had a day where with the 320ish coins I'm staking have given me 10 staking rewards in a day, I've also had a day (Yesterday) where I only had 2 staking rewards. I'd say I average around 4 rewards a day with 320ish coins.
What did you really mean in your thread? Did you have 320 Solaris coins for staking?
More importantly, staking is a game of luck, all stakers have to find for blocks. Of course, each stakers have their staking weight, more coins higher weight, more opportunities to find blocks.

I do have 320 coins staking.

I realise Staking is a game of luck etc but overall you will get a rough mean average obviously the will change depending on the number of coins overall being staked . I was just pointing out to the person above that I wouldn't expect to get 5 rewards a day from 120 coins when I've got almost 3 times that staking and have on average been getting slightly less than that (and as you say have more opportunities to find blocks).

I have stake my 120 coins, and after one day, I got around 1 Solaris. Personally, this staking rewards rate is good because I know that there are lots of competitive stakers in the Solaris network fight each other to find blocks.

Just had a weird windows 10/Solaris Wallet moment.

I had windows 10 notification tell me of a stake being received on my Solaris windows wallet, When I checked it I could see on the front page of the wallet that it wasn't showing up in the latest transactions part but it had an immature balance of some coins staking.

When I checked the windows 10 notification I noticed that it has a date of 27/4 with a time of 17:33 , Upon checking the transactions part of the wallet I can see that I have an orphaned block then ( I remember it a few days ago as it was only my 2nd one) but now also have a transaction going through now with currently 24 confirmations which will be available after 102 confirms like staking, I'm just wondering why both windows 10 and the wallet are reporting it as this date and time it has been staked when it's actually almost 2 days later (windows 10 is showing the correct time and the last block within the wallet is showing correct time as well as was a staking I got a few hours previous).

The mining stage is over and it's now PoS.

I tried to remove info from the solaris.conf file in the local wallet, and from the file masternode.conf in the VPS wallet, as you suggested. After I tried to start the alias in the local wallet, the wallet showed me an error message.

Can you post a screenshot of the error message (make sure to remove/change any private key etc if that shows up in the error message).

It produces the next error message when I try to restart the alias:

Alias: ***
Failed to start masternode.

The initial problem was:

Hi Solaris community,

I'm trying to set up a masternode on VPS http://time4vps.eu/ by following the latest guide, and everything looks fine in the local and VPS wallets (it's enabled, protocol 70717, the command getinfo on VPS shows that the block is the lastest one), but the active time is always 0 in my local wallet. After I close my wallet for few hours and open it again, the masternode has the status 'missing', even if the masternode still works correctly on VPS (I checked it with the command getinfo). I tried to reindex, but the active time is always zero and after few hours with closed local wallet it is 'missing' again.

Any suggestions how to fix this issue?

Did you restart the wallets after you got rid of the info?. Also are you starting the master node via the console?.

Yes, I tried to restart the wallet, and insert the command in the command line, but I had that message. I also believe it shouldn't work this way as it contradicts with the official guide, isn't it? Anyway, thank you for your advice.

I had the same issue as you when I closed the Local Wallet I had that happen last year, I can't check my VPS wallet because access is blocked here but looking at my local wallet I definately don't have anything in Solaris.conf file (even tho that guide tells you to).
I also don't have anything in any of my other masternodes of other coins in the same but different named.conf file.

I only ever had info in the solaris file if I was just using the local wallet but I quickly moved over to VPS wallet. I'm pretty sure people do have their masternodes running with info in the solaris file but like I said I couldnt get it working that way.

Since staking has come out they say to put staking=1 in the solaris.conf file for just staking as well but again I'm staking here with no problems at all with nothing in the .conf file.

So in the local wallet does it say pre-enabled when you start it and then move over to enabled after 30mins or so?.

Hope you get it sorted soon.

It sounds like you have masternode info in your solaris.conf file of your local wallet so when that closes it shuts down the masternode, The local wallet should have info in masternode.conf file and NOT solaris.conf and the VPS wallet should have info in Solaris.conf and NOT masternode.conf.

we are good now, just received first MN 0.799 reward and first stake 0.199

cheers  Cool

Now thats good news to start a weekend Smiley At the last moment at block 263995 it got very exciting. 20 minutes went by and still no block. Sweat in my hands DDOSsing the block explorer with my F5 button it finally switched to block 263996. I quickly checked if our fix did the job and it did. Masternodes now get 80% of the block value and stakers 20%. ZeroSolaris works like a charm. Happy weekend  Cool

LMAO , I was giving it 10 more minutes before I was expecting a riot from people asking why it was stuck/not working etc. Good job guys onwards and upwards.
