Just had a weird windows 10/Solaris Wallet moment.

I had windows 10 notification tell me of a stake being received on my Solaris windows wallet, When I checked it I could see on the front page of the wallet that it wasn't showing up in the latest transactions part but it had an immature balance of some coins staking.

When I checked the windows 10 notification I noticed that it has a date of 27/4 with a time of 17:33 , Upon checking the transactions part of the wallet I can see that I have an orphaned block then ( I remember it a few days ago as it was only my 2nd one) but now also have a transaction going through now with currently 24 confirmations which will be available after 102 confirms like staking, I'm just wondering why both windows 10 and the wallet are reporting it as this date and time it has been staked when it's actually almost 2 days later (windows 10 is showing the correct time and the last block within the wallet is showing correct time as well as was a staking I got a few hours previous).

Yo can anyone say what the average masternode payout is per day? I tend not to trust masternodes sites as they seem to be wrong usually!

I've switched from staking and it seems that masternodes earn a lot less than staking?!

hmm... Is this true? If so, is this working as intended?

I have found that running a masternode we'll get between 1.6 to 2.4 XLR daily. On 600 XLR staking I found that I got 9 stakes sometimes 10 stakes per day. So that is around 2 XLR daily from 600 XLR which I had split into 150 coin blocks and not in one large block. So going by my stats it does seem that staking earns a little more but remember this can change in the near future as more people start staking. Then MN will be paying more as long as the number of MN remains the same at around 700. I think people need to find the right balance and see what works best for them and go from there.

Presently staking seems more profitable probably because there are more masternode online as compared to less stakers.

Yes there are many factors in which earning more XLR either from staking or masternodes, right now it seems staking is the better option however I have also notice that staking difficulty is rising as more people start to stake. So I think in a month or so it will switch back to masternodes earning more XLR then staking. Also later in the year once txbit is launched, having a masternode would be the better option as we then get rewards from the exchange for owning a node, stakers will as well but not as much as masternode holders so we will see a switch I think soon.

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

I hope that SolarisDev will decide to expand the participants of Solaris campaign a bit in the next few weeks.
I will finish my current one next week, so I hope that I will have opportunity to join Solaris campaign.

I have stake my 120 coins, and after one day, I got around 1 Solaris. Personally, this staking rewards rate is good because I know that there are lots of competitive stakers in the Solaris network fight each other to find blocks.

So you got around 5 stakes rewards in 1 day from 120 coins??, If so I wouldn't expect to get that many each day on average from my experience. I've had a day where with the 320ish coins I'm staking have given me 10 staking rewards in a day, I've also had a day (Yesterday) where I only had 2 staking rewards. I'd say I average around 4 rewards a day with 320ish coins.

What did you really mean in your thread? Did you have 320 Solaris coins for staking?
More importantly, staking is a game of luck, all stakers have to find for blocks. Of course, each stakers have their staking weight, more coins higher weight, more opportunities to find blocks.

I do have 320 coins staking.

I realise Staking is a game of luck etc but overall you will get a rough mean average obviously the will change depending on the number of coins overall being staked . I was just pointing out to the person above that I wouldn't expect to get 5 rewards a day from 120 coins when I've got almost 3 times that staking and have on average been getting slightly less than that (and as you say have more opportunities to find blocks).

You are likely (mostly) on the wrong chain, which led to orphan blocks and fast staking rewards.
You should back up your wallet, reinstall newest version of Solaris wallet.

current version numbers 2.8, might also be worth resyncing the chain it shouldn't take long

1. Stop/shutdown your wallet client if it is running.
2. Go to Win: %appdata%/solaris/ OR Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Solaris/
3. Delete all files and folders EXCEPT backups, folder, wallet.dat, solaris.conf and masternode.conf (DO NOT DELETE backups folder, wallet.dat, solaris.conf and masternode.conf)
4. Start your wallet client and let it sync again.
DO NOT DELETE backups folder, wallet.dat, solaris.conf and masternode.conf

It's time to go to Binance, Bittrex, and Poloniex.

Sure, its Time for new Exchanges but Coinpayments is also important for real Use Case.
So Website Owners have the Decission for Accept XLR on the Website for any Services like me.
When XLR is integrated in Coinpayments, i can implement them by some Clicks and after them maybe i will only Accept XLR for my Crypto Conferences.

How about listing rules of coinpayment? Is it easy to be listed there?
It is good if coinpayment can bring Solaris a bit deeper into real life services.

I dont know the exact Conditions but one Point is "Top 200 Ranking on Coin Market Cap" ... but maybe the Dev Team can talk with Coinpayments for earlyer Listing.

What happened with Solaris? Why Solaris price dropped dramatically to $7 again?
Personally, the project has released lots of good products recent weeks, all bugs were fixed completely and staking has worked perfectly, smoothly.
It's strange to see such downward movements.

I have running 10 Masternodes and not only 1 produces orfans; so the Problem must be on your side.

It´s only a Question of Time by the max. Supply round about 1.600.000 at the End of 2018 and then every Year only 100.000 increase XLR.

Simple buy some XLR and hold them.

10 Solaris masternodes, it is likely that you are too rich.
However, congratulations to buy more Solaris masternodes at cheap, you will get your money back soon when the Solaris price take off in the next few months.
Currently, Solaris price has been too low and far from its all time high, which is above $50.

Agree.

Its my second turn with 10 Masternodes and i had made real good Profits with Solaris in the Last 6 Month.
Buy low sell high, and i think the Price now is a again a good Price to buy XLR and at the next Points in the Roadmap i think its a good Decisssion to hold long term with Masternodes and Stakes.

I was thinking about this thing.. correct me if i am wrong please. Why Bittrex and other most important exchangers should list us on them, while XLR will have its own exchangers? I don't think other exchangers will be happy to list a product of another exchanger..and we are on Kucoin just because we still don't have any product that can create conflict with them..
so, am i wrong? I'm interested to hear opinion!
