Now it seems Al Hilal is also interested in hiring Rafael Leão and even the 175 million euro clause can't stop Al Hilal while that's a huge amount of money.

https://www.goal.com/en/lists/chelsea-psg-competition-rafael-leao-al-hilal-willing-pay-over-eur100m-ac-milan-star/bltf7c0c2909951e314

This is probably the worst bid that a saudi team could make. Even if they had all the money to sign him, there is no way Leao is going to move there. He is only 25 years old and all the other top clubs on top league have hi on their radar. I know The Saudi Pro League is serious with their project of turning their league into top tier league but this is definitely too much for them. I

Its just absurd to even bid on a 25 years old player. Normally they would go for players over 30 years of age
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake Poker ($1k freerolls) on: May 24, 2024, 09:23:56 PM
Im assuming that out of those 2500 players, there might be some that sits out the entire game. Its freerolls so I kinda expect half of the field to be DONKey and will raise-all in most of the time, its going to be a hard field. Anyway so I just need to register 15 minutes before the game start right?

Going to try the next one, Im 'arallmuus' as well there so hit me up if we sit on the same table

As you say, lot of donk moves, I would say a big percent of playeras dont know how to play poker there, but they join to the tournament because it is free. But the good players are the ones who win the tournaments.

Yesterday I get in the money for first time, only got $1.5 as price but it was fun, I will keep trying the next week.

Missed it last night, tried it earlier today and yeah ended up not ITM but so far the software they use are basically basic poker software but yeah probably thats how Stake want it to be. Totally cant wait for them to launch regular tournaments, I think overall the fields are kinda soft but thats probably freerolls so Im really excited to play on a paid tournaments once they full roll the whole thing
3  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Stake F1 Team on: May 24, 2024, 08:22:40 PM
No need to be everyday but it can be weekly but with bigger prize, I think it will be interesting. GTD Tournament with few bucks entry fee will be also good to see later.

Probably they will have these in the upcoming days but for now these freerolls are meant as introduction onto the community.

Anyway, I've tried their poker but its just abit weird especially after you fold. Im not sure if this is because I have a crappy monitor but these folded cards are barely able to be seen

and also I've always assumed that we will always take the middle seat on poker software but it seems this is not the case on stake poker. Well no complaint on this but its just new for me, I cant find a button to adjust my seat to middle as well

ended the tournament on 900th something lol  Tongue

Tatum and Brown scored 66 together again yesterday, meaning that 28 in the 3rd game is enough for over points. Should be 99% guaranteed.

Flashscore actually showed 63 combined though with Brown 40 pts and Tatum 23 pts but yeah its still going to be over for sure. Atleast this wont be my concern beause I had the same answer as @imarios

@imarios : we had two games tomorrow on stake so yeah Im hoping to get one extra point from either of these two to secure atleast a draw. 3 points would be nice as currently Im also having an edge at question #10. Rajasthan Royals ended up not making it to the final, phew !
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: May 23, 2024, 09:53:10 PM
Hope in Dota2 guys and play a game! The patch is incredible and makes the game so much more fun to play but also it's so funny to see pro players randomly picking heroes thinking they already solved the meta situation.

It totally makes the game fresh because there are tons of new stuff to figure out which is great.

I also hope this big patch and big changes will nerf Falcons to the point they will not be able to win games or at least to dominate games that makes their game super boring to watch. ( I also hope they will reduce the toxicity of Amamr and Marline to the point they will be humble once again ).

Nah it seems they figure it out alongside GG. Well Im actually glad that there is another team that seems to figure this patch out as well so Im really hoping up on how entertaining the games will be

Meanwhile, two games on lower bracket tomorrow. Totally leaning towards BB and AR. I'll just go with straight winner and not mess this one up, I just hope my confidence wont knock my sock off this time
7  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Stake F1 Team on: May 23, 2024, 06:10:21 PM
but what's annoying is that some users are lucky even though I know he doesn't understand how to play poker but he always allin with any card, I give up fighting players like this and avoid them while waiting for other players to get rid of them. Imagine my hand is AA and I am beaten while all the cards are still closed Cheesy

Thats part of the game and yeah its a freeroll so people have no sense at all because it doesnt involve any of their own money. Imagine if this is atleast $50 buy-in tournament then some of those loose player would consider their option so probably none of that nonsense 33 all in then somehow hit a trip on the river but yeah luck is always part of poker game

You playing again tonight?
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake Poker ($1k freerolls) on: May 23, 2024, 04:34:09 PM
I already played a couple of freerolls but is hard to get in the money when more than 2500 users are playing it. But i will keep trying, at least is free to try. And after asking to support, looks like any user can join for now, even new users, I'm sure that will change in the future, but now feel free to join.

Im assuming that out of those 2500 players, there might be some that sits out the entire game. Unfortunately for me, I had no idea that it was esport-esque upper and lower brackets kind of knockouts, that's despite the fact that I made my research, it just didn't occur to me  Sad... And thus, there comes Buwaytress advantage over me, except I'll be needing Sunrisers Hyderabad to lose their next game against Rajasthan Royals to get a draw from that question.

Yeah I didnt know that either hence I picked bengaluru lol I thought it would be like tennis-like bracket but oh well, both of us still had a chance to steal that point !

-snip

Good summary I didn't know you guys watch cricket lol but also, if all the wickets fall, you won't be allowed to hit the balls anymore. So the idea is to hit the balls, hit them well (you get max points for a "home run"), and protect the wicket Smiley

My entire family know cricket very well, I'm a kinda outcast because I hate it and chose to watch football instead Tongue

I didnt and I was curious with all those numbers then @buwaytress explained it perfectly. I just summed it up with an analogy to baseball because crickets seems pretty similar to baseball from what I've seen on youtube lol

I have to say that they disappointed me yesterday - a team with Xhaka simply can't be a serious team. I'm not taking anything from their season but based on what they showed in the biggest game of the year I don't see how they were undefeated so far.

Alonso's starting lineup was a bit weird as well - not sure how much it was affected by injuries.

All good things must come to an end

I guess this sums up Leverkusen perfectly after all those undefetable run. As for Xabi Alonso, he does freaking well so far but I guess no treble for him this year ! but atleast Im sure he will win those cup trophy for sure

Lookman stole the show with a great hattrick and I'm actually glad for Atalanta - they have been playing some great football on limited resources.

Lookman had the best game of his life. He only score 2 goals for the whole Europa League prior to the game last night and yeah I guess even he was surprised that he would managed to score hattrick on final
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake Poker ($1k freerolls) on: May 22, 2024, 09:59:48 PM
Surprisingly, I thought that they'll never add that. Looking at the current state of the forum about poker, there has been a point of it when there have been no talks to it.

This forum? You gotta be kidding

This forum is a niche compared to the overall gambling market, heck I doubt that atleast 50% of the people in this gambling sub section actually gamble and we are talking about Stake here. There are tons of their loyal players that will jump onto it even if Ed throw a bone

But now, we're starting to see its glory back so they're probably seeing the opportunity to be a leader of this game.

Not at all, there are far more superior poker site and poker network out there sponsoring huge buy in ranging up to even $200k buy. Im not sure if Stake is going to join these existing poker network or not but we'll see

Just click (Full-screen)

It's on bottom left corner, you can (full-screen) the dashboard or using Theatre mode on there.

Hey it actually works ! Im such a dummkopf lol, why didnt I think of it in the first place
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake Poker ($1k freerolls) on: May 22, 2024, 07:45:12 PM
I was looking at stake when i realized they just added poker to the site, it only has freerolls for now but i feel like it's a great step because the community really needs some good poker sites with the right support to avoid collusion and multi accounts.

Fantastic, finally a familiar crypto gambling site offered poker on their site. On top of that, its Stake we are talking about so I bet there will huge crowd once they fully launch the whole thing

Anyway, is there a way to enlarge the lobby? Idk if this is my browser or what but I cant seems to enlarge it

Especially this part, I cant seems to find a way for it to show the whole payout list for me. I need to scroll it manually though. Over 2k people played so 150 places paid and with bottom prize at $1

2 hours on average until the tournaments ends with top prize at $230 so yeah thats pretty decent start of for a freerolls. I might try one tomorrow and see for myself how good the crowd on Stake is

Tune in for more "expert" tips from buway-non-expert-tress.

Yep it seems they lost by 2 runs

So yeah if I were to translate it into something that Im familiar with. Its pretty much like baseball but instead of taking turn after 3 strikes, the teams are given specific amount of balls to score as many points ( runs ) as possible before the opposing team hit the strikes ( wicket )

This is pretty much as close as what I understand it would be. Well now I need royals to lose on their next game or else Im losing point on question #10

So where are you guys the cricket geeks, could you explain it to me with layman's terms because I got no clue about this sport lol. Heck is Bengaluru even winning this game or not

I need Bengaluru to win but it seems to me that they are losing right now? heck I dont even know what those numbers means lol. Zero clue about cricket

Pep Guardiola has been awarded as the premier league manager of the season after he was nominated alongside Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta,

This should have been either Klopp's or Arteta's. Manchester City flopped alot last season given how perfect their squad is and yeah its was expected that Manchester City would win the league again, the day Arsenal lost to Villa. I knew right away from that moment, Arsenal wasnt going to win the league. Too bad though, kinda expecting new winner this year but its City all over again
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Luxury items stock will be good way to go on: May 21, 2024, 09:40:05 PM
I think Luxury items brands cucci Ferrari or some yacht companies Luxury resorts and hotels.
and even in recression those things always on high demand and when we look at geopolitical situation all over the world by all those issues at the end more and more wealth will go to hands who will consume luxury goods.

There is a difference between high net worth individual, super high net worth and ultra high net worth

When you get to the point of ultra high net worth, you will realize that there isnt that many investment out there that could worth your time so most of the ultra high net worth jumped into those luxurious stuff because even it doesnt really increase your net worth anymore, it gives you prestige to enlarge your networking which is fine if you look at the bigger picture

So its not really only as 'consumption'

What a good start for me to lead already 2-0 on questions 2 and 10 😁😁

Im abit sleepy and I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me when I saw your answers on questions #2 and #10 but yeah figured that you were playing against casperBGD  Tongue

I still can't understand how somebody forgets to submit. I understand when there is a good reason (like when you think you have submitted, but the form doesn't accept the answers). I also understand that a new player can forget to submit. But a player that has been playing for a few seasons should really get used to submitting on time.

Some people probably forgot about this especially after taking a break on the previous round but yeah

but for all of you guys that fail to submit. Please be fair to the rest of us and submit on time.

Well I've never gotten anyone that failed to submit against me yet so far but I can say for certain that luck is a vital part on tournament like this. For example, hakkan2217 had played against two people that failed to submit on round 4 and 5. Thats 2 rounds in a row and he was pretty lucky to got that for sure

It would be extremely unfortunate if Chelsea fired him after he had made slow progress again. I'd prefer to keep him for another season. Tod Boehly is at the root of Chelsea's problems.

Keeping someone that barely has over 50% win rate in his managerial career so far in Chelsea? thats crazy. In fact, he only maintained 51% win rate with the club because Chelsea has a decent squad to begin with. If you let him handle a club ranging from 8th to 14th place, he would have less than 50% win rate for sure. Obviously unless Chelsea has someone better than him right now, there is no reason to boot him out yet

Does anyone have an suggestions for a euro fee? I guess we could either go with 0.0005 (£26) or 0.001 (£52). I will have to ask jeremypwr/sportsbet if they want to sponsor it again. Maybe we can go with the cheaper fee if no sponsor or the higher one if we get one.

Lets get both then. Hope that we get a sponsor again from sportsbet and fees stay at 1mbtc. Just gotta win one of the yellow cap then win the free bets to get back your buy-in fees

Despite that I've never win the prizes, Im still sticking with 1mbtc. By the time we get to next year, god knows how much will bitcoin worth by mid 2025. We might still be in peak bull run or probably plumetting alot by then

But probably all kinds of cheating can be expected when there is big potential money involved.

Still gotta predict it as good as possible to top the score every rounds to actually win some money though

  • I want to know, if you remember or have recorded in a special note, about what percentage of bets in football you won during the Premier League this season?

This question is kinda incomplete. Aside from just asking winning percentage, you should probably ask their average odds on their bets as well as average unit on their betslip

I mean obviously winning 30% with odds over 4x on average is much better than winning 60% the bets on average of 1.5x and with that said, number of units that they bet on each slips totally would be relevant as well. Example, betting 400 unit on live odds of 1.3x compared to betting 100 units on 2x definitely gives more unit profit if it wins
