Can someone explain to me what Vostok is? A new ico?
Sasha got bored and set up a new blockchain for corporate use only using Waves technology funded by Waves investors.  Yes, they'll be an ICO, but plebs like us are being largely kept out - it's mainly for the super wealthy, minimum $250K investment. I believe, that Vostok is a good thing and there will be others heading towards a similar solutions. Open source can not be used everywhere and block chains have their limitations. There are a lot of large institutional organisations, which are holding back on block chain technology because they can't run on the current solutions. Vostok will bring additional resources to Waves and that's ultimately a good thing for growth. |

Whales digging in because of the Dev Activity and new updated applications. Plus, the current market cap indicates the Waves being way undervalued for what it provides. There are several paperweight names above the waves still. |

Can someone new confirm that he/she is able to get verified by Waves partner IDNow.eu on the new app or web client?
I am pulling my hair out here, because I have tried everything but always result with Error 412 (which is an API error btw).
Waves support and coinomat support are only suggesting things I have already tried. I am starting to think that problem is not in my connections, accounts, browsers or devices. Tried several of everything and in different combinations. Waves support claims that it should work as intended.
But it doesn't...

^^ Likely yes. Waves aim should be to become new user friendly. Integrate applications to attract people who are new to the blockchain and coding.
Lots of front end functionalities with all applications. That would be a honeypot for the masses.

now 24hr volum upto 10 milions waves coin very fast recovering, i hope end of this years will make new ATH. anyway thanks waves team.
new ATH before the end of the year would mean going parabolic and I don't know if it's a good thing, because 10X in a little time would mean a sick dumping afterwards (which scares waves and any other coins holders) Yeah, I cross my fingers for more steady growth instead of being crazy volatile. Made myself familiar with the new clients and the waves way to tokenize the assets. Looks very promising and user friendly, but there's certainly a room for improvement. The created assets are too simple and miss many capabilities. |

I downloaded the newest wallet (3.1) and also downloaded the block chain. It still takes forever to sync, 2 days and only @60%. What may be the problem or is it the normality now?

DIGIT was my own experiment with cryptocurrencies, but since i launched it too late (the mass explosion of new currencies was already began) i just abandoned the coin a few months later, due lack of interest. |

No more issues right now. The balance showed up nicely and its running without problems. Only the regular sync is extremely slow. Shall see if the long term investment in WDC pays up in future Hopefully so. I am willing to wait as many years as it takes  |

Those are the "issues" i discovered in first 10 minutes of using the wbc. I checked the opengl drivers and have the latest installed. So its still some compatibility issue using win10/gtx960.
Do you know what is the average sync time from 0 blocks? I left mine opened overnight and its 28% synced. Has no one in the world yet discovered the way how to get wallets sync faster (download less data for sync)?

That WBC GUI looks like crap btw. At least under Windows OS- its horrible. The windows are not snapping, the resize bar has only drag option, the curved edges do not fit in to sharp edges area. The menu dot colors are not harmonic and look bad, the icons are visibly too low resolution, the tooltip bubble is hard to read because of grey text in yellowish background is the worst idea ever ... etc
Please hire some graphics specialist who actually knows how to design a GUI of an application.
