is it possible to solo mine with multiple rigs by setting up the wallet on one rig and connecting all miners to it? Or do I need to setup some kind of proxy?
I have mined with 2 rigs in to one wallet, but with getwork it can be a little bit slower than with stratum pool. All wallets use getwork. If you follow the guides in internet. It is not too hard to set up a linux virtual machine and your own personal stratum backend. I solo mined several coins with my own NOMP pool. You dont need to set up front end for this. Only backend. |

solo mine is easy just add the following to digit.conf rpcuser=gpu1 rpcpassword=password rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcport=44101 daemon=1 server=1 listen=1 then in your .bat or .conf file for your miner use http://127.0.0.1:44101 as your server address (address usually for the pool) and you can mine rpcport=44101 ? not rpcport 11101 as from post 1 ? How do I find out which port I should use ? You can use any port what you like. It does not matter. This port needs to be free ofc. Default ports are in OP. If you want you can use default ports too. No problem. The password, username and rpcport has to match your miner password, username and rpcport. Thats the only thing to check. |

Lol, guys read the DSF posts. They distanced themselves from pools because they want to be fair for everyone and give same conditions for everyone. Use the X13 sph sgminer here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=623409.0;topicseenIm sure it works. I used it on marucoin and worked fine.  |

why mintpal didnt add boost?. Ill tell you exactly the same thing what i told in boost thread. Boost premine plus 15coins per block is equal to a whopping 4% of all BOST and way more than that just after its mining ends!!! This alone should be enough of the red flag for anyone! Boost dev said that he will not publish where 1% premine goes. And one more reason. Boost is not even in top 40 on the Mintpal voting list. When bost price pump, and all pools disable register. Its not a scam coin? This is probably the most idiotic argument ever but ill answer to that. Pools of boostcoin have nothing to do with this coin or any other coin. If any pool disabled the register, then it was because: either 1. Boost dev asked for it because he wanted to even out the hash to avoid being 51% attacked. or 2. Pool running hardware got overloaded and pool owner decided to limit the amount of users. |

Hey I have a dumb question (I only have answers to the hard ones). Is there any site that shows the actual, CORRECT quantity of WDC mined to date? Because the 1% reduction started after the launch and most sites didn't bother updating their info or coming up with a proper time-series formula, I have a sneaking suspicion that all the market cap data on almost all sites are wrong (over by something like 20% in their estimates of WDC mined?). Please help/prove me wrong? Ok after chatting on IRC I think it's safe to say that some of the sites haven't really bothered getting it right. Yay, a new quest for me! If you want to look into that it would be great. I know there is a discrepancy but I didn't release it was much. Would be nice to have to print it out with -getinfo or -getmininginfo |

The Mining of your coin is very fast, and it has an effect as if you put downward pressure on the price!
Look at the market price and try to understand!
The market could not absorb that many coins that were produced! The price is totally down now! The price is 10% of what it could be with significant development!!!
Industrial-style miners are dumping your coin! There needs to be a balance between investors and miners.
At the moment investors have a huge disadvantage compared to the industrial-style miners!
Your highest priority should be:
1. Stabilise the economy! Reduce the coin supply rate per block by a factor of 10-20x! Industrial-style miners will stop dumping. Further this will establish trust for investors. I feel sorry for small miners but this is the only way out. In long term they will benefit when the price increases.
2. What is the point of X13 when it cannot be mined afterwards? Mining on X13 has to run in parallel with POS! Reward miners in the long term!
3. The first point will buy you time to develop additional state of the art features for Boostcoin! This will further increase the price.

Think about all the whales who would dump on that news, if dev would announce changing that number to something bigger. I said that DOGE will hit 200+sat when this thread was started. I will say it again in a little different way. DOGE/USD will rise again quite significally. DOGE is a very good investment if you are going to hold at least a year.

OK, lol. I thought you had some real numbers. Thats workers, not miners. Theres a difference. I have have had over 10 workers on some pools. Looking at the hashrate, i'd say you need to divide that number by 5-10 times. |
