I have been reading this thread and contemplating the future of crypto for the past few years...
It saddens me that crypto has lost almost all of its original intent and purpose. I have seen many things in my almost decade of crypto involvement. Having witnessed the rise of BTC from a truly decentralized currency into a fully centralized one and having witnessed the rise and fall of NXT at the hands of the centralizers, I have come to a realization. I have been working on something, which if I am successful will revolutionize the future for the entire world. As I make more progress, I will update this thread. Do not worry... I will not forget my loyal followers. URHOC holders will be included in this vision for the future.
To all the naysayers... Rome wasn't built in a day.

No progress was seen, not one git commit!
The URHOCs were stored in their wallets with care,
In hopes that DE would soon get off his ass and produce some code besides the usual fanfare.

When out in the cryptosphere there arose such a centralized clatter,
I sprang to Bitcointalk to see what was the matter.
Away to the block explorers I flew like a flash,
Looked at the crypto stats even for Dash!
The data displayed on my screen that night,
Snuffed the hope in my eye that had shown like a light.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But those damn Chicom bastards with 67%+ hashrate!
With their dirty "equality" mantras, so disingenuous and slick,
I knew in a moment it must be the State Capitalists who were at it again!
Worse even than fiat, their coursers they came,
They all whined, and shouted, and called them by name!
"Now Bitcoin! Now Litecoin! now, Ether and Ripple!
On, NXT! On, NEM! On, all Larimer scams!
To the depths of their pockets! To the last of their coins!
Now centralize away! Steal away! Take away ALL!

I pledged to them all that I would never give up.
And to the final breath, we will struggle for the cause.
YOURChain was special, for it was the very last,
That refused to submit, and centralize the blockchain.
They started to fade away that cold winter night, just like their notions did from crypto.
But before they left, I heard them cry out and exclaim,

I wanted to create something unique and novel, not just another cryptocurrency. I thought Cyber Guaranty and Cyber Bills would be a way to do so. Obviously, that is not going to happen now. I am going to think about YourChain for a while and try to come up with something that will be in compliance with US law. Note: All the URHOC tokens were given away for free and NO MONEY was raised with YOURChain. I have no interest in raising money with YourChain, and nobody should expect any profits from it. Think of it as an experiment. Maybe together we can create a cryptocurrency or something that allows for "equal opportunity". Yes, please continue this project, correct you give free urhoc to eveyone but i a'm buying ftom the market, so i lose money on urhoc. Unfortunately not only you, there are other people who bought in the exchange. The dev wrote two years on this thread just shitty post and created two shit websites in almost 3 years and the last thread on bitcointalk is asking for money! These kinds of people are ridiculous I considered doing Cyber Guaranty without the token sale. Unfortunately, the legal obstacles were too great, and frankly, it would have been impossible to create what I wanted under the legal framework. YourChain was going to be merged with Cyber Guaranty, but now I am simply going to continue with developing YourChain as a decentralized currency with a few twists. They thought YourChain was a joke... They won't be laughing soon. |

This guy offered bounties to DOX other devs, what if some of those people decided it was justified to do the same back to him? I'm not saying i think they should, but he dumped so much hatred on bitshare devs, and supernet , and NXT, and IOTA, and Rchain ... I disagree, this dev has had plenty of time to show something, and there's a good chance he's using this thread as a weird plaything to show how easily he can manipulate people. I say enough is enough, no more meme's and eccentric rants, show some evidence there is substance here or lock the thread and call it quits. I think this guy might have a mental illness, if he does he wouldn't be the first guy in crypto to use this forum as a 'play thing', and it's not healthy for him if he does having people egg him on. Either DE has something to show now, or he doesn't, and if he doesn't by now chances are he never will. The performance art aspect of this is getting old, posting meme's of another devs girlfriend isn't cool IMO, and if this guy is off his meds again and back for some more 'fun', I say fuck off, deliver some work, or expect some blow back. Eventhough I do not fully agree with you, I do understand that you, or the community for that matter, is at a stage with little toleration. What will happen next? Time will tell I guess.. I will never abandon this project. No matter what happens, I will make YOURChain a fully functional, completely decentralized cryptocurrency. This is not some silly ICO or pump and dump scam project. We are the real deal. Unlike the Ethereum and RChain devs, I can actually code and produce a cryptocurrency that has a syncing blockchain and basic full node wallet functionality. I regret distributing the URHOCs on Ethereum. Looking back, I probably should have used the OMNI protocol layer on Bitcoin. At least the Bitcoin blockchain can sync even though it is completely centralized. Ethereum and RChain devs are total jokes. What a mess! PATHETIC! YOURCHAIN is already winning! |

YOURCHAIN UPDATE YOURChain main net deployment and redemption process is pending the completion of my Ethereum full node syncing. The former computer I was using for URHOC giveaways became too slow to keep up with the Ethereum network. I built a brand new computer and two weeks ago I started the Ethereum blockchain syncing process. Syncing a full node on the Ethereum network has become extremely difficult, but I am slowing getting my full node synced. Once, I have synced my full node, I will start the redemption process. I apologize to everyone for the delay. I didn't expect syncing my full node to be this difficult or take this long. Ethereum is basically a worthless network because it is nigh impossible to run a full node. Therefore, Ethereum is NOT decentralized. Don't let anyone fool you into believe any of the cryptos today are decentralized. They are all centralized in some way or fashion. We will liberate the cryptosphere once again! YOURCHAIN WILL MAKE CRYPTO GREAT AGAIN!I want to thank everyone for there support and patience. We are approaching the day of liberation! |

Not "advice"... I was overcome by the Spirit of Satoshi and he showed me the future. The centralizers will be punished. It has been foretold. Only YOURChain is the true descendant of Bitcoin. What was lost we shall reclaim! I am in sympathy with this project and i waited for almost a year to see the realization of this' dev's promises but till this very day, those promises seems to be like a politician's word, i wonder, how he could make that promises especially nowadays of crypto crisis? I guess, we should move on with this one, move forward and don't waste our time waiting for the realization of this "old politician's promises".

nah probably in proportion of 1:1 , 500million is already in the burned address, another 250million is on another address, that leaves the 250 million URHOC holders. Depends of course on how many of the people who joined giveaway are still here. Yes, you are correct. It will be in a 1:1 proportion. 1 URHOC ethereum token will be redeemed for 1 URS. It will be interesting to see how many people from the giveaway redeem their URHOC tokens for URS. Undoubtedly, some will not for whatever reason.
