I am a paralegal at a local solo practicing law firm. I believe there may some administrative action that can be taken. There is one in place, as far as I know, for Border Patrol/Customs (CBP) when property is seized at the border or at checkpoints. If not, then the following questions I have are as follows: - What's the cause of action?
- Do we file as a collective, and if so, in what federal district court?
- If we don't file as a collective, does each plaintiff file their own petition with a district court of the circuit they're in?
Also, is the federal government in possession of our coins, or merely the BTC-e.com domain? The BTC-e.nz domain doesn't seem to be seized. Further, if the coins are seized by the feds, should we file an app. for TRO to prevent any movement of the money? Feel free to inbox me. If you feel that there is a viable claim here, I will research it further. LexisNexis always has good stuff in my opinion. |

What is everyone speculating is going to happen to Alt. Coins now that Mike Hearn made his announcement and apparently sold all his BTC(?). Also, this includes speculation now that Cryptsy/Crapsy/Shitsy has formally announced that basically all their shit was stolen.

I have a feeling litecoin was pumped by chineese exchanges (okcoin!) and because its such a small market and there are so few exchanges, the rest of the market just jumps on the bandwagon.
BTC-e and Bitfinex did have, and have almost 80% of trading volume. So your feeling tells you the 10% Chinese trading volume managed to pump. Cryptsy, Bittrex and co make up the rest in total over 50 exchanges. i still remember this news on coindesk http://www.coindesk.com/mark-t-williams-bitcoin-bulls-time-will-vindicate-prediction/where he predicts price will fall hard some where this year, which came past, but he kinda still believe in it. and now one guy has all 30k btc, did he buy low or high? i believe we don't know yet. we might know if the non-winners disclose there highest bid. what do you guys thing, would 30k be dumped slowly or like falling brick? what if he is holding the 30k for months+, regardless buying it for a low cheap? If he holds for months, that causes deflation making less BTC in circulation = higher price. i can't make sense of it, because, this 30k been held as hostage for long time, and btc already hit 1k+ usd.
