In my country bitcoin is not yet totally adopted by the government.But even if its not,i know lot of people in my country are into bitcoin already.As of now,it has not yet giving effect into our country's economy but those people who are engaging into bitcoin seriously are already experiencing life transformation in their way of living. Low percentage for the bitcoins to be adopted by government since it will be treat for them and since bitcoins has been used for illegal acts they will just think that this one is bad money since aswell it is not been backed by anything. Maybe let's forget the government adoption for now since it will be good if no government intervention will come on it. |

I need help as I want to invest in Ethereum. What is the best investment for me? Bitcoin or Ethereum? And why  These two coins are best profitable platform but Bitcoin is more profit when compared to Ethereum . Because Bitcoin is gradually increasing in the value but Ethereum is constantly increasing so Bitcoin is quick profit for next year. Else if you invest in short term investment you should choose Ethereum. But my opinion is you should invest 50/50 of both the coins is the best investment. I'm as good as your opinion, 50/50 investment between bitcoin and ethereum is the best solution to marginalize from loss, can also benefit from some coins and have two handles Best solution for doubting minds and they will eliminate the confusion and losses will not be hurting for them if dump cames since we doesn't put our money in one basket. And Bitcoins and Ethereum are serious coins so theirs no doubt that it could bring us the profit what we desired on future. |

Now stands the time of truth for crypto-currencies. Bitcoin now moved up. For a long time? Or maybe this is a correction upward, then to fall with even greater force. But, as I noticed, the people began to buy more bitcoins and sell altcoyins, including NEO.
Bought some at 30$ Level, bought some at 110$ level, bought some at 150$ level! I am not regretting this one, it will go over 200$ this year, no doubt. The price is now at 134$ at 200$ for this year is reachable since the price of the bitcoins and crypto's has been dump, and we can see some stretch brought by the bitcoins pump on it since it could raise the value of all alts listed on ecosystem. But we should consider the fact that neo is chinese ethereum and possibly the chinese mens will pump it to reach its highest price for this year. |

It may be possible, but this year it is difficult. If the price of bitcoin grows, maybe litecoin will reach 1k $. Next year seems more likely.
I do not think that LTC can achieve such a high price. Even despite the fact that many people expect a good growth, I don't see the reason for it. I am sure that there are a lot of more promising coins right now. By look at the current price right now it can tell that your sayings is right since how could the Litecoin jump fastly for his new big ATH while we all know that the people always been tag to focus on other things and Litecoin is old not much been priority by the huge whales since they are not earning good profit since they cannot manipulate it. |

Crypto addictions and depression many talk about this . It's turned into a hobby people who were full time traders and committed suicide. Inherent in trading are euphoric highs and hopeless lows. I can't recommend this lifestyle to people who are prone to depression.
If they can't handle their emotions well they will surely end up with the decision of doing the suicide and this one will be the sickest thing to do since their are s many ways to get back what we lost on crypto's but if they are depressive and emotionally weak person then crypto will not suit for them since this kind of earning things sometimes traitor and it can drain us badly if we are not careful on any cause. |

You will only know the value of the coins you are holding if you made much effort to earn it. The same way goes to bounties, if you have made much effort to complete the task required to get such a small stake then you will realize that it is never easy to earn such token/coins. By then it is on your decision to sell the coins/tokens you have whenever it is available or just hodl it waiting for its value to increase.
Nobody can easily tell that earning tokens from the bounties is easy since it need load of works and your draining your energy,time,efforts and many things on your private life to get the rewards that you want. But you will surely see the real value of your effort if you receive your coins and stake it for longer period or until the platform of your token will be release since for sure you will earn some huge share for holding your coins and believing the project. |

So many mate and the people who lost on the current Bitcoins price fall down are the hodlers who used to store their bitcoins on cold storage, But some of them are not panic for the fall and they still keep holding their bitcoins since they know they it could pump in future.

I have deposit, trading, and withdrawal several times already and no problem at all, I read a lot of complaints but they already solved those issues I don't want to say that it's not going to happen again but so far Cryptopia is legit although there are backlogs in their support ticket, I recommend to trade with cautions.
I also experienced like this, several times the transaction but never and hopefully there is no problem that needs to be questioned. keep safe doing transaction. there may also be a problem but I think it can be solved well. I left for quite months on trading with cryptopia but when I cameback and look for their Ann thread I find out that their's so many problems pending on their site and it turn's me off and that make me step out and find another trading site where I can sit back and relax on my own trades. Cryptopia is compromised site for now and I don't want to get hook by pending problems so I advice to any people to find other relevant one. |

Ethereum cannot maneuver bitcoin easily. Bitcoin holds 50% of the market cap and ethereum did not though it was the second largest cryptocurrency. The popularity also of bitcoin than ethereum helps to boost its price.
A lot of speculations I've observed telling that ethereum will dethrone bitcoin but up to now, ethereum is just in the second place.
It will not be east for eth to do that and it will be a long way to go if it really can take the place. But I don't really think it can make it. It will be long journey for ETH to surpass the status of bitcoins right now and Bitcoin is the first choice of the hodlers so no wonder that ETH will be just a shadow of BTC for long time running. But we never actually know the real score and status for long time running of crypto's since IF there's certain regulation on bitcoins and been banned on global use maybe ETH would step in for that matter. |

$100k is very impossible for just a year. If you remember last year that Bitcoin was speculated to reach $20,000 dollar before the year ended but it did not happen because of lot of factors to be consider like the price correction is always there and also if bitcoin will reach at least $20,000 it will become very expensive to purchase already that it will make the trend value to become slow moving due to high price. And for seeing the current price situation with BTC we can really tell that 100,000 is truly impossible to see and we doesn't have any good scenarios happening yet and the one we are seeing now is the price stability of bitcoins. But maybe on next 10 years on we can see the price reach for 100,000 but certain excellent adoption will come first before this things happens. |

Forums are being filled with speculation, almost all topics that appear lead to falling bitcoin prices, whether this will continue, this is the right time to buy, blah blah blah. Come on, the storm must pass, let us focus on the positive topics instead of continuing to discuss this 50% decline. Start talking about the positive news from Singapore deputy, bitcoin that has gone up 20% today and others. Think positive and positive things will come.
I just collect most of my information about bitcoin through bitcointalk and from the past few weeks i just never came across a good news regarding bitcoin. I agree with you that people should focus more on the positive side and spread some positive, true, good and informative news, so that unnecessary panic is avoided. But it's so good to ride with the flow since actually fuds are also means for us to earn, and if you study or research it the fuds that create dumps happening before you may find out that you can earn with that fuds spreading event. And thinking positive is sometimes not helpful in some other cause since I'm sure you will baghold what you have if you didn't came and defy the negatives side coming on it on future times. |

I hold, through experience, the value of the tokens, though not all, will rise on time. So profitability wise, it is best just to hold and sell when the company has stabilized. It is also a big help for the company if there's no dumping of tokens. Other's can't be blame for their actions though but I wish they can be more participative rather than being self-centered.
But sometimes it better to sell quickly your token reward because most project tht have no real product became a shitcoin and the value down to zero or low price but as of now I'm holding all my bounty reward waiting to increase the price and when that time comes I will sell my bounty reward to gain a profit. Right since sometimes we can accumulate more with it if the dump comes since mostly the coin dumps when the bounty released to its respected participants, And also we doesn't know if the coin will continue to pump after this token added on exchanges since there's so many things that will likely killed the price. And thats one of the reason why sometimes bounty dumping is good but we should think smart first with doing this. |

Everything that suddenly pumped significantly in a short time is a bubble, including bitcoin when it reached $20,000 and then pops up to $11,000. Look at the current price at $10K, barely can't pass the $12K wall. Hence, it's better if bitcoin price increases slowly but steady. But, it won't be achieved without usability appeal of bitcoin, as soon as core developers and miners agreed to implement another scale solution such as the lightning network or Schnorr signatures, hopefully, the transaction fees will be decline and no longer takes a long time to be confirmed.
It was a bubble but that does not mean that bitcoin cannot reach that price again or that the price of bitcoin was not fair, it was fair, the problem is there is simply not enough demand to justify that price right now but as bitcoin becomes more popular then we are sure to see that price again, in fact I think it is very likely we are going to see that price again in this year. The demand will just their but the Bad news is one of the barricade right now since many people doubting to buy BTC at this point since they will afraid if their would be a dump will occur again. I don't think so. Binance is the best exchange all over the world and it's not easy to be hacked . Also John McAfee tweeted that Binance downed because of hacking but I think he got paid to tweet like that to reduce faith of traders all over the world with this exchange. We just need to wait few more hours to see if Binance will really work again at 4 AM (UTC) or not. John Mcafee is the lord of fake news on crypto he spread fuds so that he can earn with it and I don't think binance is been hack since their support are most likely alive maybe they are just doing some huge system update that's why we can see them up down for long hours but anytime soon they will surely came back again since they are earning good with this business and they will surely not turn down their traders easily. |

I was wondering, when buying tokens on ICO, is there any 'guarantee' that the token will be listed on an exchange? In other words - how can one know for sure that an ICO token/coin will be included on an exchange after the ICO is finished?
95% of the ico tokens are listed on exchange within 6 month and all the project I have tried to invest in has been listed in exchange. Another way that you can actually know when a tokens will be listed in exchange after some time when the ico end is to follow there Ann thread. Etherdelta and hitbtc are two exchange that has helped me to sell most of my tokens at a very good pricing. Nope not 95% actually since their are some other coin who have listed immediately on decent exchange and It all matters to the dev or with the team on how they do it since If dev's will just sit and wait for their coin to be added well theirs nothing they can do good with it. But if ICO coins will be huge fee's on exchange where they desired to be listed then they will be added as quickly as they can. |

What is the big deal if bitcoin is below $10,000 because this is just a sale for the year of 2018 and you should be getting a lot of bitcoin before the sale is done because if you will not do anything then you will just regret it by not jumping into the market and that will be the worst decision that you will ever made, buy now or regret it for your whole life.
It's trying to rise up to $10,000 level so that we can talk about a new trend in bitcoin. Otherwise, we will only wait to see what type result we will obtain at the end of this month.
