Perhaps Ethereum is the next generation bitcoin, bitcoin is too old now and ethical is still very young Altcoins that can have high potential to replace bitcoin in the future. Rightnow ETH can do everything bitcoin can do but much faster and cheaper fee. And more advance technologies have been applied by using ETH rather than bitcoin.

Right now, price of ETH is low, is there again rise in the ETH ? I can see eth going above bitcoin because of combination between drop in the price of bitcoin and increase in the price of eth.
Eth is a stable coin today in the crypto market. As you can see during the bloodbath, Ether is one one the few cryptos that remain stable. The price drop of Ether is not that high. I think Ether could possibly dethroned bitcoin from the top spot in terms of market capitalization in the long run. That may takes years i believe. |

I don't think so.Eth price is increasing but I think that it will not cross the btc price.Btc is king of the cryptocurrency world.But somebody called eth is next bitcoin.

There is no argument against Ethereum being touted as the next generation of Bitcoin. That is the prevailing truth right now. Bitcoin is always ahead and those that came later like Ethereum must only be the next generation. But when you say that it will surpass Bitcoin, that might not actually happen. There is no reason why Bitcoin would suddenly fall down and be replaced with Ethereum. Both are actually growing right now in value but with Bitcoin much faster. |

Comparing the two coins,bitcoin and ethereum are so different. I think ethereum is still at the second place because if you look at the market cap and the price of bitcoin,it is so far to ethereum. I don't think that bitcoin will end because i still believe in bitcoin and ethereum is just the runner up of bitcoin.

I do not think that the etherium will be more expensive than bitcoin. The ethereum is an excellent coin, but bitcoin has always been and will remain the first. Bitcoin is bitcoin, and all other coins are altcoyins. And no altcoyin can cost more than bitcoin.

It is too early to conclude that it would surpassed bitcoin,that in fact it won't.We might see a surge of etheriums price but it takes several days or weeks,whithin that bitcoin also rises.Etherium can surpass bitcoin in different way as it has an active developer.Bitcoin may fall but no other coin can replace it,that's what i believe. |

Ethereum was the best after bitcoin, but in my opinion that etherum won't be exceeds bitcoin. Maybe eth price could be near to bitcoin but would never overwhelm bitcoin.

Ethereum cannot maneuver bitcoin easily. Bitcoin holds 50% of the market cap and ethereum did not though it was the second largest cryptocurrency. The popularity also of bitcoin than ethereum helps to boost its price.
A lot of speculations I've observed telling that ethereum will dethrone bitcoin but up to now, ethereum is just in the second place.
It will not be east for eth to do that and it will be a long way to go if it really can take the place. But I don't really think it can make it. |

Yes there is a possibilty because pruposed Casper pos is applied ethereum price will go to moon in near future . Because already Neo taking lots of new project attraction as well as investors because of the ability provide gas while staking neo . If casper pos applied ethereum will beat all technologies.

It will not be east for eth to do that and it will be a long way to go if it really can take the place. But I don't really think it can make it. It will be long journey for ETH to surpass the status of bitcoins right now and Bitcoin is the first choice of the hodlers so no wonder that ETH will be just a shadow of BTC for long time running. But we never actually know the real score and status for long time running of crypto's since IF there's certain regulation on bitcoins and been banned on global use maybe ETH would step in for that matter. |

Maybe yes since if ERC20 contracts will be adopted frequently well it can really create some demands on ETH, But theirs so many things that needed to consider with since as you can see if BTC go down you can see also that the price of ETH fall and It's so hard to believe that this coin can surpass since if there's fud of certain Countries controlling the crypto's we can see that the price fall including the ETH. |

For this one I agree with you and eth will always become the next generation of btc. At this time we can see eth used by many people as the priority income ( investor/ trader ) to make money, for ICO send - received payment and alternative to send money if bitcoin network got delay. ETH will never beat bitcoin but become second is the the best they can get. |

well, it gets more usage, so why not. bitcoin still has the "brandname" advantage, most people think blockchain=Bitcoin. But it won't last forever.

Yes it is possible, Yesterday eth could break up to $ 1,300. The current price is around $ 900 and probably will continue to go up to $ 1000 ++, And to replace the btc position is possible but I think it will be quite difficult.
Yes it's very difficult to replace btc as its the main head of this cryptocurrencies. Eth can reach up maybe the price of btc but it takes a lot of time to manage on replacing btc position, maybe for now the value is unpredicted but it's pretty sure that value of a successful coin and trusted will be more pump up in the future trading market. |
