Re: Can someone take gambling as a source of income to he/she life?
Hmmm. Probably yes, but it will take a significant amount of money before he/she can do it.
Aside from money, of course luck is also needed. Another one is discipline, self-control, patience, very good decision-making skills, etc.

While you can make huge amounts of money through gambling, you can get huge losses as well - so huge that it might change your life negatively. I don't know anybody who's living their life through gambling, but I know there are some who are doing it. Gambling can be a source of income, but you need a huge amount before doing it. For me, I don't see it as a source of income, but only a source of entertainment. Smiley That would be a better approach with gambling because even if you lose, it's ok as long as you enjoyed playing.

Can anybody share some popular gamblers who are living out their life through gambling? I mean gambling as their main source of income. Smiley

The truth is that lucky gamblers can benefit from gambling when they're lucky to win and as the luck of winning in gambling is implied, no winning time is assured that's to say it's not worth it to say it's a source of income and insisting that you must making living out of it will only make you loose the little you've budgeted for it.

But being lucky is not consistent so its hard to rely on something that we are not really sure. Since most likely those people who tend to believe that there's gonna be a big changes in their life will happen especially if they became so luck and win a lot of money might became broke because its rare phenomenon that they could able to win more bigger amount by spending less for it.

So instead of betting their future on gambling just take all easy then bet in moderation since luck will just come if the faith let us win. But if not still fine if people who are in total control will just be happy since they will look at the bright side even if they lose and just say its fine we can shake those losses off since we are still satisfied then also happy with the result.

PariPesa.com is a wide range Casino and sports betting platform with over 400000 users where you will find over 3000 events to wager on at any time, whether on the mobile or PC. They are happy to introduce their services to the Bitcointalk community.
Players over the age of 18 and who reside in countries where gambling is legal are allowed to play on PariPesa.com
Please visit the casino's website, give them some helpful feedback, and let's make this forum a beneficial place for them to operate.

400000 users? Really? This sounds like a lie to me. I'm not sure that even the biggest crypto casinos have 400K active users.
Anyway, the announcement forum thread looks really good, but there's a problem. Paripesa.com has a Trustpilot rating of 1.7/5 out of 73 reviews. Many users are complaining on Trustpilot, that this casino had scammed them and stole their money.
Is the team behind paripesa.com going to do anything about this and solve the issues of all the people, who are complaining?

https://www.trustpilot.com/review/paripesa.com

400k users is a huge number but I think it is a claim only unless they can prove it. They have been operating since 2019 which mean they are 5 years old site, I dont even think older and more popular bookmarker do the same think. Talk about trustpilot, I dont take it as a reliable source because there are too many fake/paid reviews but I checked on casinoguru and their rating is also not good (4.9/10). Most complaints at casinoguru are solved though, so lets see how will they promote their service in this forum.

Tried to research more about them and this is what I saw on internet https://www.nairaland.com/6332557/avoid-paripesa-bet
since I'm not really familiar with their casino. Also this https://www.scam-detector.com/validator/paripesa-com-review/

But lets do hope or see if these website is wrong but people need to take proper precaution first since there are early warnings posted against them. That's why I don't trust the trustpilot anymore since even if the site has a lot of accusation they still give good reviews. Then ignore those people commenting on their site.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 U.S. Presidential Election Bets! on: June 19, 2024, 09:51:44 AM
🍑

The bet on Trump might be in danger since I heard they are trying to dump Biden and replace him with someone. Although I'm not sure if the one they pick will win, I think it's Newsom. With money and how they can sell the guy for votes, Trump's presidency is unsure and still, they may even imprison him too.

I doubt the democrat party would dare to replace Biden as their candidate, to be honest. They have already done much campaign, they have received millions of dollars onto the image of Biden. Even if Biden continued to misbehave and act out in public, he still have a good chance to defeat Trump.
We are already months away from election day, so all the democrat party can do about Biden and the bad media he could be receiving from Fox and News max is to mitigate and counter attack frontally, quite similar in the manner they did then Biden dared Trump to debate him on national Television.
Besides, if Biden  gets swapped by other candidate, it could be used by Republicans to "confirm" Biden was nothing but a puppet.Democrats do not like conspiracy theories.

They just need good marketing techniques and something black propaganda to use to destroy the reputation of Trump. But they cannot easily do that knowing that Trumps camp is being adaptive and try all methods which can possibly help his campaign and get good image again. For what I see Trump is crowd favorite maybe due to his latest pro bitcoin actions done and many people think that US will became a crypto friendly if he became the President of US again.

But I'm not hoping for any more larger than what he promise knowing politician they are professional liars. Let see what action does Republican do since they really need good PR to make the name of Biden became good to the eyes of voters again.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How it everyone feeling during this altcoin crash? on: June 19, 2024, 08:40:13 AM
My altcoin portfolio was +83% on the 9th June but is now +51% just 9 days later.

I am buying some dips but mainly just holding during these times and hoping we recover in the coming weeks.

When will this crash stop? and how is everyone feeling?

I have it in my mind we still have a few more months till alt season so I am just holding on for now.
Nope we don't know what will be the end point of this and you or other people need to relax if they are afraid for possible more dumps to come.

Remember that until you didn't sell all your holdings you still have a chance to recover. But if you decide to sell because you are more afraid for seeing the read candle sticks continues to fall down then I guess for that you are in total loss. That's why its important to consider always that invest only what you can afford to lose so that whatever happen on the market you can simply look at it and think other positive perspective.
5  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.com|🚀Join BetFury Cryptodrop 🌔 Share $20 MLN in BFG on: June 18, 2024, 10:47:05 PM
As you probably already know, the Betfury team has recently launched a game on Telegram. I guess they decided to do it because of the hype around Notcoin and other tap apps.
Anyway, Betfury also announced a drawing of 5k BFG tokens a couple of days ago.
The terms are simple:
Participant needs to play the game and post a screenshot of the reward in the comments.
5 winners will get 1k BFG tokens each, the drawing is scheduled for June 14.
This is the first time I am hearing about betfury telegram game and good thing that the team is taking advantage of current events that is shaking the world of gaming, telegram games are the hype of the moment a d for an old casino like betfury to lunch and tap into such events is a good way to build more relevancy in the market.
Although the major concerns are the value of the BFG token both on the short term and long term perspective, because unlike notcoin that the hype reflected on the price of the coin for a while and building a wild rang of community, BFG on the other hand is already struggling with it price and without any previous history of price increase that can be compared to that of notcoin, although we can't predict what happens after all this events line up and the recent developments. Goodluck to the team.
Why trying out to compare that Tapgame NOTCOIN into BFG? If you do really tend to look or compare it out then it would really be having that different purpose or utility.
When it comes to value or price then it would really be that entirely depending on recognition and of course on the attention of those investors.
As for that TG game type then it is really that indeed the meta now. So it isnt shocking that companies which isnt limited on gambling alone will really be
trying out to ride with the waves.

Maybe the idea of tap game that's why he compare it to NOTcoin. but actually they really have different purpose and BFG is just riding up the fame of that game since they see a lot of attention from this type of game that's why maybe they adopt for exposure purposes.

What they do is a good move since we could able to see that they are targeting good audiences for current things what they could able to offer to existing BFG holders and also for people who's looking for new things in there yes aside from Notcoin. Its not really shocking if they ride up with the waves since its like being adapted and companies need that to survive and possibly create certain exposure that their businesses exist.
6  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto casino without investment on: June 17, 2024, 12:26:17 PM
Hello, what do you think - it is possible to open a crypto casino without any investments. I'm not including domain and hosting costs here, but I'm mainly talking about payout costs. Alternatively, if not a crypto casino, then faucet, something like freebitcoin but without a casino, just faucet.
Maybe you will have to come out a bit clearer for us to better understand what you mean, for personally, I do not understand how possible it is to open or launch a casino without investing a dime aside from  obtaining a domain and hosting it.

I think it's very important you understand that aside domain and hosting, there is still alot to be spent on, and one of those is the fact that you have to reserve a really nice amount of money for settle winnings just incase you are not so lucky at the very beginning.
And secondly, do not forget the place of marketing and promotions and how important this is to the casino or faucet's visibility.
Like I will always say, this days, marketing and promotions seems to cost way more than it cost to launch a casino.

So, there is definitely no way you can launch a casino or Faucet without investment, though I might not be completely right with my answer though, since like I said earlier, I don't completely understand the type of investment you are talking about.
Same with how I perceive OP's post. Launching a crypto casino is never easy, expenses there and everywhere. With that, you need to invest not only your knowledge and expertise but as well as great amount of capital that will bring your casino into reality. It would be a lot helpful if you also do some crypto investments aside from your casino investment, that way if one fails, you still have other source of investment that will probably work and bring you profits.

Maybe he just think that there's easy way to launch a service what casino could offer without costing him a lot of money. So for sure he realize that its really not easy as he think that there's a way that he can earn without spending anything for launching a casino.

Everything has a cost as the owner need to consider that he need to payout those people he win and also in order to convince people to gamble on the casino he built he also need to offer them something so that they can gather people to gamble on his casino. If he can't offer or spend any amount for the launch of his casino then expect that all he plans will just failed then people will think about that he's here to scam because the owner is not willing to spend some amount to create something good platform for their players.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy Buy Buy or Sell Sell Sell? on: June 17, 2024, 10:18:44 AM
You are right I will love to add that Emergency funds should not be tampered with or used for your needs, and being replaced back. Emergency funds is always there as stand by at all the time and not to be spent only when a real emergency happens that needs to be taken care of immediately if not it will worsen the situation of things that will lead to more damage . For instance, if you lost your job, or the roof of your house was pulled of by storm. You can rely on your emergency funds for the mean time till you get another job, so that you don't sell your bitcoin to survive during when you don't have a job. Your income should be divided, whereby you have set aside for your needs.
If a real emergency happens, and you use the funds like the example, I gave above, when you get a new job, you can then replace/build back your emergency funds. This is why we should have a good size of emergency funds, so that whatever emergency that happens, it can sustain us. It is also good because that is what will also consider how aggressive we will be when accumulating bitcoin through DCA in a particular time.
Seems we have a little difference in our ways of viewing the emergency funds, and you are obviously viewing it from the negative aspect which involved threat to life. This is not what I understand the emergency funds is meant for. I see emergency fun unplanned events not covered in personal planning of expenditure. Emergency funds can include unplanned visit of a relative, support to a friend that is in desperate need of help, indeed it could come in different ways and not only when threat to life is involved. Loss of job which is in other words loss of the source of income is a different ball game because in such situation, the emergency funds may not be able to cover your needs such as rent, feeding, medical, etc and still allow you continue to DCA as you were doing when you had the job. So this will require a different plan all together until you secure another source of income.

I guess it will matter depends on your needs and as long as you didn't use it on things that unwanted like buying your unnecessary need using your emergency funds then everything is fine. But for me I usually separate some money intended for emergency cases like medical needs, losing my job and I need some funds to cover my expenses on the days when I'm seeking for new job or if I experience a heavy income loss and need some money to get up on this unfortunate situation.

So people should always think that having a emergency fund is important and they should not always think about their investment since its like their safety net when there's unfortunate changes that they didn't imagine will happen to them.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which casino would you trust more: one that requires KYC or one that doesn't? on: June 17, 2024, 08:19:15 AM
Let's talk about KYC and non-KYC casinos. There are many casinos in the space, and probably most of them require KYC (Know Your Customer) since they hold a license. However, some do not promote that requirement. In fact, I've read comments mentioning that there are casinos which initially claim they don't require KYC but later do, based on their own judgment.

So, if we could find a casino that genuinely adheres to what they advertise (whether as a non-KYC or KYC casino), which one would we trust to gamble with? Additionally, if you have doubts, what are the risks you might be taking that could bother you while regularly gambling at such a casino?
I think it depends on the reputation of the casino, but generally, when a casino operates under a license, they tend to have more trust from the community because they feel like they can't just close shop and go away whereas a casino that doesn't have a valid license can do that without any problem because they don't have a license from a licensing firm and they are in no way bound to keep operating legally.

For me, I would say that I wouldn't have a problem gambling in a casino that doesn't require KYC or have a license as long as it has a good reputation in the gambling community because if they have been operating for some time, they wouldn't scam their gamblers, besides, I never deposit a lot of money, so I won't have a problem even if things go south.

Also depends on the length of service by those casino since if they already exist for long years then people would able to think that they are upgrading their selves and make their business a compliant to government regulation and for sure with those cases lots of people will trust them because they think that its more safe to play on those casisno since they are now regulated by the law.

But for new casino? Well I guess many people would really doubt for their KYC requirements asked since I understand that people is so concern on their identities and provably they or we won't give it to any platform that doesn't have anything proven yet in the community. Right now I don't care much about KYC but what I'm looking for a casino is their reputation and how people give their feedback or reviews on their favorite casinos.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are memecoins really important for the crypto market? on: June 16, 2024, 01:12:38 PM

I want to hear your opinion about memecoin in the crypto market:
  • Do you support the existence of memecoin in the crypto market?
  • Have you ever invested in memecoin? Which memecoin is that?
  • Has your investment in memecoin brought you joy, profit or loss?

Yes, I really support the existence of memecoins in the crypto market because I think memecoins can provide a different color from altcoins in general and memecoins can compete with altcoins.
and I have held memecoins such as doge and shiba inu for some time, and both gave me great benefits.

The advantage of memecoins existance in the market is

It could able to create awareness to those people who doesn't know about crypto and they will be aware that memecoin and other altcoins exist.

Disadvantage is we all know that most of them are scam so it will be unfortunate for new people in the market will encounter such unfortunate situation since we might see them lost a lot of money for believing that memecoins could bring a lot of money to them, but its bad that the scamming is the one they experience from those memecoins.

People need to know that memecoins is so risky so invest only what they can afford to lose.

11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why you want to rank up in the forum? on: June 16, 2024, 10:52:46 AM
What I think is that the higher the rank in the forum, the more important he or she is in the forum. Not only his importance but also his reliability is more. If a Legendary member says something, everyone will believe it more than a newbie. Also rank up is very important to participate in signature campaign.
No offense.

If I get asked which one I trust between JRamos (newbie) or you, I would choose him. Even he's newbie, but he proved if he can earn 165 merits from 28 posts and his post talk about technical thing.

There are no difference between newbie or Legendary in terms of quality post, if Legendary users always right, there's no way newbies can rank up.

What he said is not actually true since knowledge is not all about the rank in the forum. There are newbie account users which have excellent knowledge about bitcoin and crypto than those who have legendary account in this forum. Its so absurd that they make the ranking of the account as basis of intelligence since not all the time they know everything.

Also common reason why people want to rank is to join on the campaigns and get the high rate per post. Because of that a lot of people exert a lot of people to create good post so that they can earn merit then rank up. But for people doesn't care about that they just come and go then get back here when there's important topic that need to discuss this is the reason why we see their account still in low rank.
12  Economy / Gambling / Re: TombRiches.com|Huge Welcome Pack and VIP Bonus| $2000 + 200 Free Spins on: June 16, 2024, 09:35:55 AM
Since Suzanne was hired just to post the Ann thread then I believe the TR team needs to appoint a personal representative ASAP. Forum members already started expressing their concerns and asking questions and they need to answer those questions if they want to build a good reputation and have a solid relationship with the community here.

correct  , they need to provide us a representative specially suzanne is seemingly will be holding
their signature as I saw this back then that She posted ANN thread and then managed the casino campaign.
[/quote]

I believe suzanne know what he or she's doing and for sure he already give that advices to the owner or marketing staff of the casino since we know how important for showing up their presence here especially that they are launching a casino. If they would have plans to run a signature campaign then its good since it could boost their exposure plus they also need to offer something that can make us feel interested to try their casino. Tombriches should know that there's a lot of casinos here and marketing to get a exposure is important factor for their success. This will be tough for them to introduce their casino since there are lots of reputable casino in this forum, but if they able to show that their support is good and they have good rewards to give for promotions or other offers then maybe people will gamble on their casino.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EEMERGENCY: in mempool congestion period on: June 15, 2024, 01:09:46 PM

But something happened yesterday, a sibling's wife was in labour due for delivery but out of certain complications the doctor booked her for a cesarean section for which he was asked to give part payment (an occurrence he never budgeted for). I got a call from him, he explained the situation to me and that what he has wasn't sufficient for the payment and he's sorting for my assistance.  On my end I just had a business expenses two day back that had left my bank account with nothing.

Quickly I decided to transfer a  negligible amount of coins from my self-custodial wallet to an exchange wallet to sell since it was an emergency matter of life. While on the process to do that I now remembered that there's a current congestion in mempool which has left people's transactions delayed for hours and for  some persons it's getting to days. What I did was to visit all of the exchanges account I have to see what's left there. To my amazement the little coins left there were able to amount to something after respective p2p trades.  And that was how I was able to come through for in assistance.

You could able to get less financial pressure if at first place you secure some funds intended for emergency cases. Also we should not put all our money on our investment since we don't know what will happen and there's something like that where network congestion will really happen and it could able cause delays which is so crucial on emergency situations.

That's why hopefully you learn from what you experience and never leave all your funds on your wallet or exchange. Take out something since its good that we are fully prepare on emergency cases happening in our life. Its good that you have money left on your exchange account but sometimes its not advisable to left something from those exchangers since we know hacking and scamming is present so we might lose our money on that incidents. But anyways glad everything fine and there's positive side happen on your story.
14  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are your expectations for Casino coins in this coming bull run? on: June 15, 2024, 11:39:50 AM
As far as I understand casino lovers have a lot of expectations about casino coins and are paying attention to tokens. Everyone is hoping that this bull run will have a huge pump from casino tokens. Although the casinos increase the attraction, it is difficult to say how much they will pump. Sometimes those communities create hype in the markets. The market is always changing so gamblers need to be aware and move forward with it.

Especially to the existing holders for sure they expect a lot from the casino token they hold since what they think that there might be more better figures will come to the tokens they hold especially if those people want to sell their tokens since they want to exit and find better coins or token to invest their funds again. But for what we see its like nothing happens yet or altcoin season is just didn't happen yet. But I guess lets just see what will happen in future if we could able to see a hype from this tokens since for sure those people who accumulate and hold might earn good profits for their supported casino tokens if altcoin season may came. Also yeah the market changes that's why I'm not a fan of holding this token for long time since the growth is unpredictable and we might got stuck for long time with them.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can someone take gambling as a source of income to he/she life? on: June 15, 2024, 09:53:00 AM
Not only “not a reliable of source income” but rather it’s literally not a source of income because it’s a business that design to provide entertainment with it’s customers and not a financial wealth because they are business that gets profit through customers money so there’s no way they will allow players that continuously draining their bankroll.

This is the reason why there’s a lot of issue about account restrictions whenever a player is winning frequently or showing a successful gambling records. Casino ToS tell’s everything it since they have the right to restrict any player with their own discretion.

I think the only people who think that gambling is a source of income are people who are unemployed, poor and have no other source of income, or maybe lazy people who just want
an easy way like playing gambling in crypto casinos.

But you will be surprised because even though they don't have a job, they manage to have money to bet on gambling, but when looking for a legitimate job,
they can't find a way to find or apply for a job.

There understandings towards gambling is so narrow then mostly they think about its so easy to earn on gambling even if they didn't have any experience to play on those casino. Sometimes they easily got carried away with fictitious and over exaggerated stories that's the reason why they easily believe that they can really easily earn a fortune from gambling.

Sometimes I'm not surprised that those people could able to get some money to fund their gambling since maybe they do extracurricular things to gather some funds to gamble since what they really believe that its easy to multiply it from casino they are playing. But if they could just able to realize that if they just used their money for investment or savings maybe they can get more better returns. Rather than trying to risk it on unsure situation. Maybe if they are interested to gamble they should comeback when they have passive income then can able to gamble only what they can afford to lose without getting unrealistic expectations every time they play.
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy Bitcoin, and HODL! on: June 15, 2024, 08:31:22 AM
Yes this will usually be the best strategy for a poor holder, as not everyone may be in favor of investing with accumulated money. So that person can regularly participate in bitcoin investment with small amount of money which is the best strategy for him. You notice that investing in the DCA method is much more likely to be a maximum long-term investment, because the price of Bitcoin is not always dumping and not always pumping.  Therefore employing DCA method is maximum perfect according to the Bitcoin price, and it controls the average price.

The DCA strategy was not designed for poor investors; both the rich and the poor can use this strategy to accumulate bitcoin if they want to. Every investor accumulates bitcoin with the DCA strategy for different reasons, but one of the main reasons that attracts people to use the DCA strategy to accumulate bitcoin is that it will control their emotions. With the DCA strategy, you will never want to wait for the bitcoin price to drop before you can accumulate a stash. You will accumulate bitcoin anytime your money is readily available, even though bitcoin is high, because you know if there is a dip, the DCA strategy will still allow you to accumulate bitcoin.

It designs to all and very manageable strategy to use by anyone. That's why this has been the hottest topic since many think that even newbies can able to do this strategy since its easy to understand and execute depends on there willingness to invest at certain times.

But they should not forget that there are other good methods to use like lump sum investing which people could also consider to use and they can diversified their portfolios by using this. Now its up to the investor to research on which strategy is suitable for them since both DCA and lump sump is good methods to use for their investment on bitcoin.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which casino would you trust more: one that requires KYC or one that doesn't? on: June 14, 2024, 01:52:21 PM
A casino changing its TOS eventually from non-KYC to KYC is nothing bad, they probably got hit by subpoena and are now being extra careful to keep the authorities away from their tails. Blame the a-holes who attempt to use tainted sources to the casino attempting to wipe out the trail putting the casino at risk.

It might be frustrating for the honest players but they have no choice here.
I would trust both the casinos provided there are no other genuine complaints regarding their services.

Additionally if your KYC cleared, you feel safe betting big amounts there.

There's nothing wrong regarding on that changes since its understandable that this scenario would really happen. But the casino need to became more transparent on the changes happening so people will not get surprised about the sudden implementation of KYC then think about that they are been fooled for telling that they are non-KYC compliant casino. For sure people would understand that cases since its not first time that a casino do that since we see those changes happening on the reputable casino in this forum.

I understand that there are people got frustrate about it but the casino cannot do anything but to implement it so that they can operate without getting into trouble for the regulation implemented by government. That's why instead of avoid it I comply with casinos asking this and just think about beneficial things rather than thinking about negativity about this implementation.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins dominance over Real Estate in terms of profitability on: June 14, 2024, 12:35:32 PM
Real Estate have a greater return in terms of profit for investors, which is always on a higher demand, while Bitcoin is good to take up as an investment that has great potential with profitability in a long run. Real Estate does not require a long term goal like Bitcoin does and not also volatile like Bitcoin Market it only changes value based on the location and demand not necessarily about the Market. Both asset are good for anyone to pick up, with there different risks involved, it is an option to choose from.
Real estate require both since the investors of properties could able to earn immediately especially if they create a rental business for their assets. Then while passively earning for the business they build then for many years past the value of their asset appreciate when also there's huge development happened in their areas. Although bitcoin really need to wait for long term before we can see the result but I don't compare it since it will just create tension between the investors of both asset. And what I do right now is to choose both since its good to earn on rental properties while also grabbing the opportunities to gain from bitcoin. We don't need to choose one of them since we have a chance to acquire both.
19  Other / Off-topic / Re: Passive income on: June 14, 2024, 10:49:48 AM
I've tried a couple passive income schemes that turned out to be scams.

Does anybody know of any that are not scams?

Thanks!

Don't easily believe on passive income schemes on crypto since none of these platform exist. What you can always find are those scammers offering to good to be true return of investments to their victims. But if you really want to earn good cash from crypto then try to learn trading or invest on bitcoin then hodl. But if you can't afford to take the risk on those two options then try to work then offer your skills to people seeking for people who can work for them.

Also try to earn more knowledge about crypto since for sure once you have enough knowledge to deal with the risk on everything related to this industry for sure all possible actions and decisions you do will convert into good income to you. It make take time to learn from this but for sure if you are consistent and show some willingness to learn then for sure gaining from crypto is really possible.
