1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will altcoins ever cheap again? on: May 23, 2024, 05:28:58 AM

Lots of altcoins were still not able to reach their previous aths and I doubt it will all happen soon. Each altcoins have their own unique cases but in general all of them seems to be not yet increasing constantly with only a few ones almost touching their ath. So yes altcoins are still cheap now and if you are looking to buy some this might be the perfect time to do so before they all pump in the next few months. You wouldn't want to miss that event.

I also don't want to miss this event. The bullrun season hasn't started yet and I'm already collecting some altcoins. I chose to bet on buying altcoins rather than buying bitcoin. This is a risky bet for me. I have bought several potential altcoins such as rndr, fetch.ai, tia, manta, ton, kaspa, and ondo. I hope they can have much better performance than bitcoin in the next year.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoins to invest right now on: May 23, 2024, 05:17:21 AM

As we all know there are risks involved in investing in altcoins it is important to be careful. But Ethereum is the better currency after Bitcoin if profit is the objective. These currencies are low risk and long-term holdings can yield good profits. Solana is showing good position in the market but Ethereum is the best among altcoins.

Everyone already knows it too. Ethereum, Solana and Binance are the best altcoins and will always be in the nominations. But I don't agree with those of you who say that the three altcoins can provide good profits. You can look at the market or visit CMC and see how the coin performs compared to other altcoins. Some altcoins can even provide thousands of percent profits in a few months but eth bnb and sol only provide hundreds of percent profits. So I don't agree that they are investments that can provide good returns. But I agree that these three projects are safe heavens for your assets.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget Bitcoin - Memecoins Like Pepe, FLOKI and Bonk Are the Big Gainers Now on: May 23, 2024, 05:11:08 AM
Pepe has shown a lot of promise as in last 7 days it's price rose by 30%. The price of Floki has risen by 26% in 30 days both are showing significant increase. While utility coins and token are still getting dumped the demand of these meme coins keep going up. It is an interesting time in crypto space where coins that doesn't hold any intrinsic value are preferred by investors than those why have utility.

Meme coins are gambling. While some altcoins offer long-term useful projects, meme coins come without any fundamentals and have no intrinsic value in them. What makes investors, especially whales, like meme coins like Pepe, Floki, Bome and others is because they can pump up the price and profit from it. To be honest, I see that there are still many people who have FOMO and that can be exploited by some investors to make profits. This is not a wrong way but at least we can know how the market, especially the meme coin market, works.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PEPE on the way of taking Memecoin crown on: May 23, 2024, 04:51:46 AM

It's true, Pepe has a chance, as you said, Pepe has very strong support. We can see the price managed to print a new ATH and provide a lot of profit to those who continued to hold PEPE when the price was still cheap. PEPE is often used by whales to have fun by raising and lowering the price according to their wishes.

That is the problem faced by small investors. Meme coins have much higher volatility than altcoins. This is because the price has increased significantly. PEPE has shown an increase of thousands of percent since its initial launch. I'm sure there are still many whales holding PEPE and playing with its price in the market. Therefore we need to be careful in handling meme coins. I agree with you that the PEPE market is still very small and I think it is good for short term trading.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest Only In a Coin that Increase in Value in this Bull Run. on: May 23, 2024, 04:44:56 AM

Is Bullran fully started or not started? If there is only one coin to invest in hoping for a bull run, I personally think it would be Bitcoin. By the way, We've also seen several top altcoins rise in value as Bitcoin rises. Some of the top altcoins include Ethereum, Binance Coin, Solana. Investing in some of the top alt coins requires a long-term process like Bitcoin. Currently we are witnessing a mild bull run in the cryptocurrency market due to which the value of these altcoins has also increased significantly. Investors are trying to expand their portfolios beyond just Bitcoin and are looking for trusted altcoins as well.

The top altcoins can indeed guarantee your money. But you can't expect profits of thousands of percent like altcoins outside the top 30 or top 100. That is the consequence. Everyone agrees that if asked about investment I would also offer ethereum solana and binance. But if asked about the potential for bullruns and big profits of course we cannot recommend these three coins. It is impossible for eth bnb and sol to provide profits of up to thousands of percent. Even hundreds of percent doesn't make sense, unless you hold them for the long term like 5 or 10 years.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoin specifically for holders.. on: May 23, 2024, 04:38:08 AM

If the developers have a proven track record, they may be able to generate hype and create a potentially profitable memecoin. Strong community support is also a positive sign. Ultimately, I believe the value of a memecoin depends on hype and community engagement. However, the high volatility of memecoins still give torture for holders hehe. Personally, I haven't found a memecoin that interests me yet.

I agree with you. Most meme coins have no fundamentals. After all, meme coins don't need fundamentals. It's a meme and it's a project made for fun. They need a strong community and engagement. Investing in meme coins will be very risky because meme coins can become a scam or rugpull at any time. This is different from other altcoins like ai or modular projects like celestia which have a clear white paper and roadmap.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoins to invest right now on: May 22, 2024, 11:51:53 PM
The more we aim for big profits, the higher the level of risk. Even though it is not completely safe, an altcoin ranked 100 can provide definite hope, compared to a new altcoin which still has a low market capitalization, this will be very risky to invest in, because it will be more difficult to analyze properly. I hope that Bitcoin will give a signal of breaking through to a new ath, this is just waiting for the altcoin session to react

That's why I recommend looking for coins in the top 100 or 200. At least those coins already have achievements and a good community. But not all coins in the top 200 are legit coins. There are also many scam or rugpull projects. But at least it's not much riskier than coins outside the top 200. There is no single best altcoin to invest in. I think we should classify into several categories because hoping to get the best altcoin with a low market cap and potential profits of up to thousands of percent is an unpredictable speculation.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wich altcoin has that similar to btc ? on: May 22, 2024, 11:43:12 PM
Yes you can get more profit in less scale but you can't have the scale what BTC has got in the previous few years. If we talk about the popularity and profit ETH is the closest.

I agree with you. We are not talking about altcoins that can outperform Bitcoin but there are not even any altcoins that are similar to Bitcoin. The OP asked about altcoins that are similar to Bitcoin in terms of mechanisms such as halving and supply size. There are actually several developers who are trying to create coins similar to Bitcoin. They minted only 21 million coins the POW way. I've forgotten the coins but as far as I know they weren't successful because they were just imitating Bitcoin.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PEPE on the way of taking Memecoin crown on: May 22, 2024, 11:35:01 PM
Currently I see PEPE as the most popular memecoin compared to other memecoins, where PEPE's popularity is increasing over time, so that currently there are more and more fans, I myself cannot confirm whether PEPE can match the achievements of DOGE and SHIB in the future.

I am sure PEPE will be able to outperform SHIB and DOGE. PEPE has a very strong community which will encourage its price to continue to rise. Currently PEPE is ranked 21st and will continue to increase. I see that market attention towards SHIB is starting to decrease. DOGE is still the king of meme coins but I don't see any significant push from the DOGE community. These are my thoughts and my personal opinion.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it still risky to Invest into Altcoin now? on: May 22, 2024, 11:27:39 PM

Currently, only BTC and ETH are pumping, and all altcoins are going down. This can be a good investment for the future, but it's extra risky!

Nobody doubts BTC and ETH. It is the safest asset. But BTC and ETH did not provide significant gains. Both coins already have very strong fundamentals in the market so it is very unlikely to experience a decline of up to 50% but also you cannot expect big profits with BTC or ETH. Investing in other coins, especially coins above the top 30, will be very risky, but you can get profits of up to 100% per week.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of cryptocurrency. on: May 22, 2024, 11:21:00 PM
True, and fiat money will also continue to exist and be maintained by the government because it is still contained in the laws of countries where fiat is also legal and legal tender.

If the government wants to make amendments related to the addition of payment currency items, in this case Digital Currency, it will be quite good again in the development of digital currencies will be legitimate so that adoption will quickly come and its use will be much more.

I agree with you. So far I think fiat currency can never be replaced but can be used together with cryptocurrency. Fiat currency has been a reference for hundreds of years. So far, crypto adoption has not been maximized because most people are still not technologically literate. So it's a good move when fiat currency and cryptocurrency are used together.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season, will it come next months? on: May 22, 2024, 11:15:35 PM
Don't be quick to forget that Ethereum is also an altcoin. So, when referring to altcoin season; ETH is also included. By the way, I don't understand what you actually meant by ETH outperforming Bitcoin when we know that Bitcoin dominance of the market is still above 51% while ETH has 16%. There's still a huge gap.

Maybe what is meant is the growth rate of Ethereum which has performed better than Bitcoin this week. As far as I remember Bitcoin rose 11-12% in the last week where Ethereum rose around 20%. It is impossible for anyone to say that Ethereum outperforms Bitcoin in terms of market cap because we know that Bitcoin's market dominance is very large. As you said, about 51%.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the good days for meme coins gone forever ? on: May 21, 2024, 04:43:25 PM
Meme coin trends change, so some are strong enough to last, some are not. Therefore, we have to choose the best meme coin for investment so that we can make a profit and don't expect quick profits because doge coin took quite a long time to get to this point and reach its highest price

I think it's almost impossible to find a meme coin that can last very long on the market. Maybe only 1 in 10,000 projects will survive. We see meme coins like PEPE SHIB or DOGE that can survive for years but if you dive deeper into meme projects you will see that there are many meme projects that died and gave losses to their investors. I think holding a meme coin for a long time if it is a new project would be very risky. Unless you choose a meme coin in the top 100 cmc.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Diversify memecoin investments? on: May 21, 2024, 04:30:37 PM

I'm not a fan of memes because of my past losses on new memes, but if the 1000€ is for memes, I'll go for memes that have proven themselves in the market. I'll have 80% on Doge, Shiba, and PEPE and 20% on Solana-based memes. I read that some memes on Solana have potential but are still risky, as so many developers just used the meme trend to rug-pull investors.
I experienced that myself. These memes don't have a utility. Anyone can create a meme and just pump it into the market. All they need is a huge pump and a group of marketers.

It's better to secure your money in a meme coin that already has a large community and can guarantee your assets. I personally will also choose PEPE SHIB and DOGE to store my assets. I would take around 400€ to invest in meme coins on the solana network. I heard that many people have made big profits there. I like risk but I am not greedy enough to spend all my money on risky assets.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Swap crypto or sell first then buy? on: May 21, 2024, 04:11:12 PM

I sold some of the percentage of Bitcoin to invest in Ethereum and I can see the loss I made from the investment. I invested in Ethereum when the price was $3,658 and that is about 4 month now and till now the price has not reached $3,400 and I have sold 20% of the investment as lost price. Jumping from one coin to another is very dangerous. You can lost everything in the process.

And now ETH has hit 3,700 dollars. This means you have made a small profit if you still hold it. Maybe this is not a big profit because you bought it at $3,658. But this proves that if you have a conviction and you use cold money then you can still make a profit in crypto.

Jumping from one project to another is very risky. I prefer to stay in one project but it is a project with good fundamentals because I like to hold coins for the long term.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoins to invest right now on: May 21, 2024, 04:04:42 PM
Literally everyone will want to know best alts right now to invest as bitcoin crossed $70K again giving some bull vibes. On top of that ethereum too doing so good. Is it ETH time to shine? It hasn't touched its ATH since last bull run so maybe its time for it to go above ATH. But we have to invest in low capped coins with huge potential taking some risk for high percentage of profit.

But the coins you mentioned have a high risk. Coins with a low market cap are usually not completely safe from scams or rugpulls. But if you can find the right project you will be able to get profits of up to thousands of percent. I think it's hard to say it's one of the best altcoins because of the big risks. It is better to try to look at potential projects in the top 200 or 100 rather than looking at coins with smaller marketcaps.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the largest meme coin ever? on: May 21, 2024, 03:57:18 PM
I think when we talk about largest in this context, it should be the project has more investors and population and not the coin or the project that came first and the way I looked at it from your comment you take the largest factor from the oldest project and not the project that has more investors. And if I will take the the largest meme coins then I will take Solana coins because as it is, the Solana network is congested with Ethereum but I don't think Dogecoin network is congested at the moment or had been congested before.

And according to the topic this is not a content of a preferable cryptocurrency or memecoin but the largest among all do you have to make some research thoroughly before selecting the one that the largest as of now. And Solana is chosen because not is the one that is congested because of too much withdrawal and transactions.

I think I agree with you. If we talk about the biggest meme coins then the meme coins on the Solana network are the biggest at the moment. You can see many projects from Solana that have entered the top 200 or 100 cmc. But I think the OP is asking about the largest meme coins calculated by market cap and not the network of meme coins. If it is a meme coin network of course Solana is the biggest. But if it is a meme coin project then we can visit CMC to check it out.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Diversify memecoin investments? on: May 17, 2024, 11:37:51 AM

Very good idea, but if you divide it all into MEME coins it seems very risky. Maybe you can divide it even more, 50% for meme coins (PEPE, SHIB and Bonk) then you can focus on coins with potential such as BNB, Solana or Ethereum. So when the bull run occurs you will get a lot of profit from all the altcoins you own.

Sorry but I don't think that's a good idea. For example, if you buy 25% Pepe and 25% Bonk it does not guarantee that both meme coins will rise. There is a possibility that Pepe will rise 100% and Bonk will fall 50%. In the end, the value of your assets will not experience significant changes. But if you are lucky you can get extraordinary profits if one of these 2 assets rises by thousands of percent. But for me personally we can't put our eggs in several baskets on crypto.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana might be next leading, after Ether & bnb. on: May 17, 2024, 11:29:53 AM
true. Once people had doubt about the future of solana but now these people adding solana to their portfolio. Solana already created its own region and solana is already leading the market. Nowadays too many altcoins are preferring Solana network than before. And i saw many memecoins launching under solana chain and surprisingly they are getting response from people too. What's wondering although I already memeocin Bome, bonk, wif memeocins are already on trending in Market which are also under solana Blockchain

The reason why many people are responding with meme projects on the Solana network is because of the huge profit potential. I never tried to buy meme projects from the solana network at the beginning of the release but my friend said it was easier to buy meme coins on the solana network than ethereum although I don't know if it's true or not.

But as far as I know Solana is more stable than ethereum. The Solana network has better transaction speeds and the most important thing is very cheap gas fees. This is what makes many developers now switch to the Solana network.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your doing for now? on: May 17, 2024, 11:22:31 AM

You can max out every coin you hold, but you have to wait until at least 2025. Waiting until 2025 will yield the most benefits, as Bitcoin's halving is just a matter of time before the bull run begins. Maximum profit will be possible only when the bull run starts because then the market will be pumped the most so you have to be patient and wait for the profit doubling target.

I am also having problems with the coins I have. I bought it around March and at that time the prices of several coins such as TON, BNB, PORTAL and MANTA were high. Waiting for 2025 is the best decision. But I don't think it's comfortable to wait for 2025 with the coin value minus 50% of the price when you bought it. I can't sell my coins when I need money. This is not a good situation for me.
