101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a new phenomenal innovation on: July 04, 2018, 07:23:27 AM
not bitcoin...
it is the blockchain technology that is a phenomenal innovation.
bitcoin is just one of those who harnesses the capability of blockchain.
it may be the first but it is still just a user of blockchain..

102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Can Be Done To Make Government Legalize Bitcoin on: July 03, 2018, 01:49:35 PM
prevent scammers from giving taint to the name of bitcoin.
as of now there isn't that much of country that ban's bitcoin.
but every time i hear news\ that a ton of money has been stolen from someone involving crypto i really feel bad of what might be the result.
if this kind of scenario continuous to happen then it will really be hard to achieve a legal bitcoin world.
103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are banks and governments scared of Bitcoin? on: July 03, 2018, 09:28:54 AM
because with the creation of cryptocurrencies the bank and governments capability to monitor transactions has been eliminated.
that is why they are against it because it removes their power to see what you are doing with your own assets.
of course they wouldn't want that because it could also turn out to be a means for them to lose costumers.
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ARGENTINA TO USE BITCOIN FOR INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER on: July 03, 2018, 08:22:48 AM
hearing such news is very welcome for me.
it only shows that people are now accepting the benefits of having cryptocurrency as a means of asset transfer.
hopefully more and more country will follow what Argentina had done...
I am really looking forward to the future of crypto right now Cheesy
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is Bitcoin? ✅ on: July 03, 2018, 06:41:17 AM
I  elieve that bitcoins security and safety will directly fall upon the owner of it.
No matter how good the technology is if the owner doesnt know the proper ways to protect his/her wallet then the assets will always be in danger.
That is why it is very advisable to know the details in safeguarding your assets before accumulating a substantial amount.
Information about it is already widespread online.
All we have to do is research about it.
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you wait to prove them wrong about Bitcoin? on: July 03, 2018, 06:31:24 AM
It will surely be a very good to feel when we will be able to tell all the FUD's out there if bitcoin will one day be soaring high again.
And i am willing to wait for that to come.
I will have the patience to wait for it.
107  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN AND ITS ENDING? on: June 30, 2018, 12:07:09 AM
Is there any ending or not?

bitcoin before has already experienced the same situation we have.
but every time it happens it finds a way to bounce back.
i believe that people will still patronize it due to the factors it can offer,
108  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin upto 20,000$ December 2018 on: June 28, 2018, 02:56:00 PM
It will really be hard to predict such kind of thing.
But based on my personal assumptions i am much more comfortable to say that it will still be below 20k usd by december this year.
But i am very helpful that it will surpass that price though for the sake of everybody.
109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC payments in PHILIPPINES on: June 28, 2018, 02:59:05 AM
I am also very happy with what is happening in the Philippines roght now.
Despite bwing a third world country the popularity of cryptocurrency is now slowly gaining momentum.
People are now accepting the fact the cryptocurrency is for real.
I just hope that scammers will stop with what they are doing.
They are just bringing bad reputation for crypto.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What bitcoin brings to its users? on: June 27, 2018, 04:37:04 AM
I watch a lot of information on the television talk about bitcoin (mainly the news about the bankruptcy, the bad side of bitcoin). On the other hand, I read a lot of online articles about the benefits of Bitcoin. What does Bitcoin offer the user?

one thing i liked most when it comes to using bitcoin is its ability to help me hide my identity to the watchful eyes of the government.
even though i am not doing anything illegal i just wanted the fact that i can do anything i wanted with my money without government or other financial institution taking any role from it.
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be used as a donation to the church on: June 26, 2018, 05:29:01 AM
I agree to used bitcoin as a donation for some reasons.

1. People who give great help to the church are becoming increasingly anonymous.

2. It is easier to monitor the entire proceeds and avoid suspicion of having a claim.

3. The transaction is faster and less expensive

This is just my opinion.

#Datarius
I have to disagree with the first reason.
I do believe that donations must come from people who have an identity due to the fact that we must know if that donations came from a legal way or not.
By receiving donations from anonymous persons we will loss the capability on identifying whether the money we received came from clean hands.
112  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I got scammed. I want to go after this asshat. on: June 26, 2018, 01:54:22 AM
New account..
Claiming he/she has loss 700 bitcoins.
Saying he wanted to help crack that wallet.
Tells he/she is willing to distribute it to random people in the community.
.
I guess we have all the spices needed.
Keep away from this person.
Because for me this doesnt seem to be legit at all.
Imagine accumulating 700 bitcoins which he claims just as a small amount for him but doesnt know how to safeguard a wallet.
My hands are up.
113  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is peer to peer transaction? on: June 26, 2018, 01:11:36 AM
Peeer to peer is a transfer between two individuals without any aid from a third party such as bank or money transfer entities.
Blockchain uses such technology individuals can now transfer to one another without any interferrences.
114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in business industry on: June 26, 2018, 12:47:59 AM
I am wondering if there's a huge probability of bitcoin investing will become a company's focus. Like making a company that specializes investing of bitcoins

Any thoughts? Smiley

As with bitcoin i dont think there will be company's directly looking into it as a means of investment.
But they could utilize blockchain technology in order to make their work easier as compared to bitcoin since it is already established.
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin failed as a currency on: June 22, 2018, 10:50:42 PM
Bitcoin was supposed to be used as a currency, not only a form of investment. However, it's been more successful as a form of investment, a "speculative asset".

Do you guys think that this can change in the long term ?

I do agree that bitcoin is now indeed being used more as an investment rather than a currency.
This could be attributed to there isnt much of a market that accepts it as one due to its volatility.
Business entities that will accept it will see the risk of doing since they may loss a lot by doing so.
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if we die? on: June 22, 2018, 07:07:27 AM
What OP has stated is undeniably true.
That is why cryptocurrency holders must see to it that there may be people whom they could entrust their wallet with.
Despite how much we wanted to protect our assets time we come that we must leave this world.
And we should be ready for it.

Hello guys, I am a new member and have not been registered before June 1st. Want to ask if is there any chance that the date will be changed for airdrop?

as of now i haven't heard any news about movement of account registration here in bitcointalk.
but who knows maybe someday the mods will find the urge to extend the registration date in order to cater more newcomers like you.
other projects have made the same rule changes.
just Keep Up!!!

118  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What it actually meant by Ban? on: June 21, 2018, 04:17:04 AM
Can someone be punished or sent to jail just by holding bitcoin in banned country?
What will happen in case of trading bitcoin in country where bitcoin is banned?

there may be a different rules and regulations in each country pertaining to cryptocurrencies.
and as a responsible citizen we must abide by it.
if your country tells you to stop holding cryptocurrency then so be it.
.
luckily in our country there isn't a regulation yet that prevents us from accumulating crypto.
but if ever there is one then i guess i will be having no choice but to stay away from it whilst not committing something illegal.

119  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why do we complain when the market is down? on: June 19, 2018, 09:02:25 AM
i am also thinking the same way as you are right now.
we really cant deny the fact that there are people nowadays that keeps on losing hope due to what is happening with bitcoin right.
and what is harder to accept is that this people are continuously spreading news that may also cause discouragement to would be cryptocurrency users.
what need right now is to support the entire community.
no other person will benefit from it but us.
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Simple Bitcoin Question on: June 19, 2018, 04:44:14 AM
No one can say bitcoin is dead.
Just like with any other business system it experiences ups and downs.
There may be a lot of people who has reservations against it but we also cannot deny the fact that bitcoin is now being supported by a huge community.
Only time can when bitcoin will totally be adpated worldwide and i believe this is prevalent.
We just all have to wait.
