101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies to Bitcoin can be dangerous! on: August 21, 2018, 02:24:10 AM
I understand your sentiment. It gets me irritated every time I see posts like "Bitcoin is dead.". Then I tell myself that I shouldn't be worried about those FUDs and everything since Bitcoin is for long-term. I don't know if all of them are newbies or maybe some of them are not but they just want to spread bad news to manipulate the price. I believe in Bitcoin and its network, so it doesn't bother me at all whether it drops down 1,000%.
102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your investment strategy? on: August 21, 2018, 02:03:02 AM
This is the first time I encounter a very long period bear market. Every prediction that I've read didn't happen. With this extended period of bear market, I think the best strategy is none other than to HODL until the market recovers. We have no choice but to hold. If you have extra money, you can buy your favorite coins with this cheap prices. Bitcoin and Ethereum are very cheap right now.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think Hodl is most overrated term used in crpyto on: August 15, 2018, 11:51:03 PM
Yes. People should be able to know when to buy and sell their coins and buy again when it dips. Most of us hold too much. We all know that crypto market is unregulated, so the decrease in price doesn't have limits. I remember when I have bought mine, fundamentally speaking, this coin is so good and it is really worth to hold. But as months go by, this coin I bought was so dumped even with so many updates and their team is really active.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long time holding, is it a smart thing to do? on: August 15, 2018, 11:39:18 PM
It depends on what coin you are going to hold in long-term. There are many coins out there in the market but only few of them are worth to hold in years. Of course, the number one is Bitcoin. If you want to hold long-term, fundamental analysis of that certain coin should be high.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think ethereum is the best crypto next to bitcoin. on: August 15, 2018, 11:29:36 PM
I am thinking about it also. Almost all alternative coins and ERC-20 tokens are being launched using Ethereum network. I do not doubt the capabilities of Ethereum which is way more than Bitcoin network, but all coins are just a clone of Bitcoin.
106  Economy / Economics / Re: Starbucks drops hint at plans to accept Bitcoin on: August 15, 2018, 11:07:05 PM
I think they already clarify the rumors spreading all over the internet that they are not accepting Bitcoin. I am not sure but that's what I recall. If ever this may happen one day, since I am a big fan of Starbucks because I really love their frappuccino, I would be delighted to purchase my favorite frappuccino using Bitcoin.  Grin
107  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency wallets: Can they be hacked?? on: August 15, 2018, 10:49:31 PM
I haven't heard that Electrum got hacked, neither Neon and Bitcoin Core. I am not saying that they won't get hack. I believe white hackers are pursuing every day to enter the system so that they will know the flaws.
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks ever offer bitcoin deposits? on: August 15, 2018, 10:39:59 PM
If ever one day banks offer to accept Bitcoin deposits, I will ignore. I do not see any use of having my Bitcoin deposited in banks since I can safely store my Bitcoin on trusted wallets. I know there still risk on Bitcoin wallets we have right now. So the good thing to do is to allocate your funds to different Bitcoin wallets. I don't mind banks offering interests on my deposit, because my Bitcoin will increase over time.
109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why Bitcoins is the safest system on: August 15, 2018, 10:32:42 PM
I believe it is not yet the safest way to store our money. But there is nothing wrong with that since Bitcoin is still on developmental stage. We know every successful business/company now started with too many flaws in their system. That's the good part of discovering flaws at an early stage. I believe the Bitcoin dev team will improve the system so that Bitcoin network will become the safest network.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Cryptocurency can rule the world... on: August 15, 2018, 10:09:50 PM
I get your determination in bringing Cryptocurrency to be known by each and every person in the world But I think not every person can really relate to it or will get interested with Cryptocurrency, Believe me I really want to show it to most of my friends but the fact that I only got 2 out of 10 of them to really pursue and be interested with it is undeniable that Cryptocurrency space is not for all, And regarding the ranking on the forum Don't get offended but there are too many newbies that will only priorities getting profit (first) than just learning and making this forum a great source of information not only for the newbies but for the veteran as well, But I get your perseverance in making bitcoin number one and well-known by everyone that's why I'll give you something because of that, But In my opinion it is not just for everyone to make profit.

I agree it is not just for a profit. I myself join crypto craze not because I want or I expect to become rich (but of course, I am hoping)  Cheesy
I join and invest in Bitcoin because I truly believe in the technology. I believe in the Bitcoin network that it is the answer to our weak financial system.
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I CHOSE BITCOIN INVESTMENT OVER BANK INVESTMENT on: August 15, 2018, 09:57:05 PM
Choosing to buy Bitcoin instead of putting it in the bank is a very good choice. We may not know what will happen, all they saying that Bitcoin will be $100,000 by the end of this year, but all of that is just predictions. Whatever happens, even if Bitcoin reaches below $1,000 (definitely those critics will laugh at us), I will still choose Bitcoin over banks.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Currency is fastest way to get rich ? on: August 08, 2018, 11:54:48 PM
I do not agree. I don't deny that there is no regulation in crypto trading. The price increase does not have a price ceiling, but the volatility of the market doesn't guarantee that you'll win every time. Everybody thinks they will win every time they trade since the price increase is unlimited. They are wrong. Because crypto trading is too risky. If you bought at the wrong price, you might end up being a bagholder. Getting out is hard.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you find interesting ICO ? on: August 08, 2018, 11:46:30 PM
I find it on different websites that conduct thorough research in every ICO that will be going to launch. And I find it very useful since they will provide the top list. All I have to do is to choose the best among the bests.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This market is unhealthy? Maybe Not! on: August 08, 2018, 11:43:21 PM
Media is very good at making it worst. Their reports and articles have significant impacts on people. But I do not care what they say. I care what I believe. I do not care what other people say. I will stay and hold.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: whats your plans for the year 2018 on: August 08, 2018, 11:35:05 PM
I am planning that too. To buy cheap coins which I believe that will pump as Bitcoin pumps when the ghost month is over. Bull run is coming. We do not know when but it will definitely come without us knowing.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Delays in transaction -ETH and ERC20 on: August 08, 2018, 11:30:03 PM
I haven't experienced any delay recently. But if you want to send fast, you have to increase your transaction fee. But if you can wait for a bit longer, you may decrease the transaction fee. I usually use three gwei only. It may take time to send but it will surely be addressed, and it is cheap.
117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC payments in PHILIPPINES on: August 08, 2018, 11:20:04 PM
I've just visit Philippines to have an vacation. I glad to know that Philippines accepting Bitcoin as payments, like Mr. D’s Artisanal Sundries i buy prepared smoked and cured meats, such as bacon or corned beef and i pay BTC Smiley it's so very nice that Philippines is belong to the Cryptoworld  Smiley
I'm glad you find a merchant that offers bitcoin payment here in the Philippines. If I remember it correctly Artisanal Sundries is located in Makati City. Not only that, there is also Wirin Cupcakery and The Bunny Baker that offers bitcoin payments. My only advise is to always be cautious for bitcoin is still not regulated in the Philippines just to avoid scam.
That's very nice to know that Philippines are really part of cryptocurrency system and not like just part of it because this is the of the country's that early implementing bitcoin as a terms of payments on some industries, establishment or stores all over the world even it's not already legalizing bitcoin in their respective country. Thus, I'm really agree to the idea that we need to be still careful because there's a lot of scammers that sorround everywhere.

Being in a third world country, it is good to know that the Philippines is making its way to adopt such changes. I am not familiar with that place since I am not always wandering around in Makati, but I do know that our government is not against in cryptocurrency.
118  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My small advice about crypto market on: August 08, 2018, 11:11:31 PM
I agree. The market will not be forever down. All comes down must comes up. So whenever Bitcoin and other potential coins decreased substantially, take it as an opportunity to buy.
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Can Be Done To Make Government Legalize Bitcoin on: August 08, 2018, 10:57:40 PM
The only concern of the government about Bitcoin is the anonymity feature of it. Since the government wants to prevent money laundering they require every individual to undergo KYC process.
