If anyone ever in discord and was before and after the rebrand know that Altcom IS Sono with the implement of the real MN feature, rebrand as intend for later SonoHub which also one of the selling point other than just 'MN and stake' like many coins out there.
Rebranding was OK and SonoHub was a good idea, but the chainsplit was a complete disaster and now there are absolutely no news from developers. The developers are quite active on Disqord so it's not like they are hiding. It looks like they are busy trying to get this all fixed. |

After all that time and drama...it looks like nothing will come of it. It's a shame, with the right direction and development it could have seen some success. I'll hold my coins, just in case something does happen later down the line.
Yeah, I agree. I still can't believe that this project is abandoned by the developer. It just doesn't match with the posts be made. I will keep my HCN also and still got my pool running... Just in case. |

Why is the price of SONO on Yobit increasing? I thought those tokens were potentially worthless since Yobit is on the old chain.
Maybe people are speculating on Yobit to fix the problem? If Yobit would somehow manage to respond and get there wallet on the right chain it would be very interesting to buy some at the current price. to clarify, you are suggesting that, yoBit fixes the problem... and then all the altcom coins on the wrong chain get converted to sono on the correct chain.. and then since the altcom was bought at a very low price... it will go be worth a lot more once sono is working.. Also what do we think Sono will be worth say a month after all these technical issues will be sorted out? Ok, it was not my intention to suggest that Yobit will fix the problem. In fact, personally I think Yobit doesn't care about fixing anything. So I am not someone that speculates by trading on Yobit and I don't advise people to do that. |

To all of you asking about new exchanges
We have explained this often in our telegram chat, but since not everybody joined us there I will give you an update here:
Sumo will be listed on a new exchange soon. nextexchange - a new exchange that is just about to go live - will list us shortly.
We - Sumokoin's PR team are constantly working on getting us listed on other (bigger) echanges. We are in contact with most of the big players. However, negotiations are hard. We try our best and we are very confident about getting listed on at least 1 or 2 bigger exchanges within this year.
We will not update the progress of our negotiations. We believe it is wrong to generate false hope. That is why we decided not to talk about our work until we have official listing confirmations.
We hope you share our confidence in Sumo and ask you for patience. We also want to thank you for your great support.

How can I specify a pool on claymore amd gpu miner 11 ?
Just change the values in 'config.txt' and run 'start.bat'. So if you want to try my pool at http://hcn.pandapool.nl you should use the following: -xpool stratum+tcp://hcn.pandapool.nl:5555 -xwal YOUR_HCN_ADDRESS-xpsw x THat is not what I want to know, I have already changed the values in the config.txt but the claymore miner won`t start to mine. Claymore miner gives me the message " no pool specifyed " and I have to specify a pool. So my question is , how can I specify a pool ? Can anybody give me an example ? Can you mine sumo with claymore Cryptonote gpu miner?
The reason I'm asking is that after an annoying windows update my old version of xmr-stack doesn't work anymore and the latest version has a MUCH lower hashrate (WTF?!?), Claymore still gets best hash with monero, but it doesn't seem to work with sumo.
Yes, you can use Claymore. I used Claymore 11.2 for a short while, but switched back to SgminerGM. The hashrate of Claymore was slightly better but the increase in wattage was too much for me. |

Just trying to make it right, has many currencies lower than HumanitaryCoin (in number of supporters) and are listed in an exchange without even the wallet is working properly, this all because they are an algorithm supported by 100% of exchanges, while there are many coins with the cryptonight algorithm that died without being listed in an exchange. So, here is just a crazy idea I had. This thread was started by 'the new dev' @epicfailman, because 'the old dev' @humanitarycoin stopped with the project. However, it seems that the account of @epicfailman is hacked and we didn't hear anything from him. Instead @humanitarycoin is very active for the project. Because of the hacked account, this thread can't be maintained anymore. @MarcusDE, why did you enabled your pool again? It's not very nice against the other pool owners and everyone that is trying hard to get this coin to succeed and get it on an exchange by mining at the donation pool.

I bought some Altcoms month or two ago and they are still on Yobit, it is nice to see that price has risen from then. Reading few pages back here I see that original Altcom project is replaced with Sono. What should I do now, wait till yobit replace is there with Sono or something else ? Is there any telegram channel for Sono ?
There is no Telegram for SONO at this point, but one will be made soon. For now, wait till Yobit updates to the SONO wallet. So if you keep your coins untouched at Yobit there shouldn't be anything to worry about? The only problem is that it's the only active exchange for Altcom/Sono, so basically we can't do anything with Sono at the moment. Yes, at this point.. Dont move any coins on Yobit, let it sit and wait till they update. Just to make sure, because i hear different things on different places and it got me a little bit worried. The Altcom that people have in Yobit are save right? So if you don't withdraw anything it should be fine? Or do I have to worry about my balance in Yobit as well? |
